Miss Bridges works tirelessly to ensure that every student, regardless
of their artistic ability, has the opportunity to discover their creativity, build confidence, and develop a love for art. Her passion, encouragement, and dedication inspire our students each and every day. This year, Miss Bridges entered five student artists into the Texas Elementary Art Meet. Across Region 11, 504 works of art were entered, and only 45 pieces received the prestigious top of team medal distinction. We are proud to share that all five of our Argyle West artists received the highest rating of exemplary, and two students earned the distinguished top of team award. I'm going to recognize them now. Please welcome AHS art teachers Tanya Warburg Cosla and Sherry Higgins. >> [applause] >> Good evening. I'm Tanya Cosla. Ms. Higgins could not make it tonight, so I get to do this all by myself. Let me tell you a little bit about VASE. Visual Art Scholastic Event
is an art competition where high school students submit original artworks, write their creative processes, and interview with jurors. Let me give you some numbers for the scope of this competition. 32,456 artworks were adjudicated at the regional level across the state, and a total of 2,152 artworks qualified for the state event. In our region alone, there were over 1,700 artworks submitted, and only 120 artworks advanced to state. Argyle ISD submitted 42 artworks, and 38 earned the highest rating of four advancing to the next level of competition. Two artworks from Argyle ISD qualified for state, and both earned a superior rating of four at the state event. I would like to recognize the following for their hard work and dedication to visual art. And quite a few of them are probably at home studying. Okay, Jordan Augenstein.

Braden Markham has earned his place
in several competitions. First, his acceptance in the Drexel University photography competition. And second, his artwork was chosen for exhibition in the Mayor Mattie Parker Art Contest in Fort Worth. And they had their opening this past weekend. >> [applause] >> If you can step forward a little bit toward the letters. >> [applause] >> Okay. The next student to receive recognition is Mia Provenson for earning high merit in the Art Anthology publication called Celebrating Art. She is officially a published artist. >> [applause] >> Congratulations. All right, the next recognition is our outstanding counselors in Argyle ISD. And here to introduce this year's Crest Award winners is Dr. Quast, the district's crisis counselor and coordinator of counseling. Good evening, guys. Um I'm Dr. Heather Quast and I'm excited to recognize several of our professional school counselors who have
earned the Crest Award. Crest stands for Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas. It's a competitive recognition from the Texas School Counselor Association that acknowledges unique school counseling programs across the state of Texas that demonstrate excellence, continuous improvement, and measurable student outcomes. Our counselors earned this award by documenting how their comprehensive school counseling programs support student success in academic, personal, and social, and career development. This award is a validation of their commitment to data-driven practices and our shared mission for our students in Argyle ISD. I'm proud to recognize the following counselors who earned the Crest Award. Thank you for your dedication to ensuring our high school students are supported throughout their high school journey and beyond. Thank you, guys. Congratulations. >> [applause] >> Correct. Congratulations one more time for our Crest Counseling Award recipients. >> [applause] >> Next, please welcome back Dr. Carpenter who will introduce this year's soaring star staff winners in Argyle ISD. All right. One of our favorite moments that we get to do each month is celebrating on our campuses our soaring star winners on our our staff. What makes this really special is
these are nominated by parents. Sometimes it's they're nominated by students and they're also their peers. Our soaring stars continually strive to make a difference in the lives of our students, fellow staff, and community and they represent our core values as a district and that's in trust, respect, integrity, faith, wellness, kindness, pride, tradition, excellence, and community engagement. These winners, again, were nominated by staff, students, and community members and parents. Um this year's soaring star winners include April Torres, counselor at Argyle West Elementary. >> [applause] >> That's not right, is it? Stephanie Wilkinson, administrative assistant at the sixth grade center. >> [applause] >> And it's Emilia Torres. It says April. I'm so sorry. I knew that when I said it. So, it's Emilia Torres. So, I apologize for that. Adrian Austin, administrative assistant at Hilltop Elementary. >>
[applause] >> And Portia Winfield, district occupational therapist. >> [applause] >> Thank you again for all that you do each and every day, and we're so glad to celebrate you as soaring stars. >> [applause] >> Congratulations to this year's soaring star winners. All right. I also get to honor our exceptional another exceptional group of teachers, this year's Argyle ISD teachers of the year. They represent the very best as nominated and and selected by their peers. They go far beyond delivering lessons. They inspire, build relationships, lead, and they mentor. Their passion for our students and instruction sets them apart as they help encourage and empower our learners. So, introducing this year's teachers of the year from each campus, we have Hilltop Elementary music teacher Bonnie Barclay. >> [applause] >> Jane Rattan Elementary third grade teacher Sarah Albert.
>> [applause] >> Argyle South Elementary fifth grade teacher Maddie Fairchild. >> [applause] >> Argyle West Elementary third grade teacher Madeline Williamson. And Argyle High School social studies teacher Matthew Woody. >> [cheering] [applause] >> Congratulations once again to our Argyle ISD campus teachers of the year and we will be announcing at our end of the year award ceremony next Friday our elementary and secondary teacher of the year. >> [applause] >> Congratulations to this year's Argyle ISD teachers of the year. >> [applause] >> Next, please welcome one of our teachers of the year, April Dominguez from Argyle Middle School who will recognize her AMS enthusiastic yearbook team. Thank you so much. I'd like to go ahead and ask them to
come up to the stage. I'm going to go ahead and call their names. There are 18 staff members, but 10 of us are here with a 10 of them are here with us tonight. Um let's go ahead and bring up Charlie Abercrombie. Um Blakely Ashworth. No, okay, that's okay. Marley Bartosi. Sophia Brett. Josie Clark. >> [applause] >> Lexie Cotton. >> [applause] >> Taylor Howard. AJ Coons. Presley Skaggs. Kate Adams. Sky Bailey. >> [applause] >> Caroline Bain. Silas Chapman. Avery Coleman. Lola Cox. Jane Kim. Chaitra Madam. >> [applause] >> And Tatum Steinhoff. >> [applause and cheering] >> Um so I am April Dominguez. I am the middle school yearbook adviser. Tonight I have the honor of recognizing an extraordinary group of students, our middle school yearbook staff, for achieving something something truly historic. This year our
team earned the Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence. Not only is this the first time Argyle Middle School has received this honor, it is also the first time in our district's history. This recognition is not easily earned. To qualify, our students had to meet three rigorous national standards. First, they created an inclusive yearbook. With over 1,200 students on our campus, they ensured that more than half, 54% actually, were featured at least three times in our book. That means over 600 students appear in our yearbook at least three times. Um second, they achieved the best-seller status with over 70% of our student body purchasing a yearbook. And they even increased their sales by 2% from last year. That speaks to the quality, relevance, and pride they built into this book. And third, they met every single
deadline. Cover to cover, demonstrating responsibility, teamwork, and true professionalism. This award represents more than just a book. It represents student voice, student leadership, and a commitment to telling the story of every student on our AMS campus. I am incredibly incredibly proud of this team for their creativity, their dedication, and the legacy they have created for Argyle Middle School. Please help me in congratulating them. >> [applause] >> Great job and big congratulations to the Argyle Middle School yearbook team. Staying with Argyle Middle School, please welcome Argyle Middle School STEM teacher Johnny Fabro, who is here to recognize the AMS Student Council. >> [applause] >> Good evening. My name is John Fabro and this is Kim Dodson. We are two of the Argyle Middle School Student Council advisers. Miss Rainbach and Miss Jessica Smart were unable to
attend this evening. At this time, I'd like to recognize our 2025-2026 Argyle Middle School Student Council officers. President Emily Timmons. >> [applause] >> Eighth grade vice president Arth Mehotra. >> [applause] >> Seventh grade vice president London Farr. >> [applause] >> Treasurer Kate Adams. >> [applause] >> And secretary Devin Catharban. >> [applause] >> So tonight we're here this evening to recognize the Argyle Middle School Student Council for their outstanding achievement in leadership, service, and activities that served to improve the school and the community. Argyle Middle School has been recognized by the state of Texas, the Texas Association of Student Councils, as an outstanding student council for the 25-26 school year, as well as a Sweepstakes Council. Sweepstakes Councils must be recognized as an outstanding student council first in five categories. And those categories are outstanding recognition
in drug, alcohol, safety, and health awareness, pride and patriotism, energy and environment, as well as submitting a community service project report. TASC has over 1,100 member schools. Of those, Argyle Middle School is is one of only 278 student councils statewide to receive this highly esteemed honor. This is an incredible honor, one that only a select number of schools across the state achieve. AMS Student Council has been putting in the work for years and it's exciting to see that dedication now being recognized at a state level. In addition to these awards, Argyle Middle School will also hold the position of the TASC District 3 president school representing all middle schools for the entire North Texas area next year. These students will help lead middle schools across North Texas by organizing leadership conferences, sharing ideas, and continuing
to inspire others. So, please help me in congratulating these guys on a job well done this year. >> [applause] >> Congratulations to the student council from Argyle Middle School. Now, we will shift to Argyle High School and please welcome AHS UIL academic coordinator Desiree Good, who will honor members of the academics team. That person is tall. Okay. Um We If you notice, we don't have a whole lot standing over there because most of them are preparing for AP exams. So, that's just kind of how it goes. If we had all of them over there, we would have over 40 standing there because we advanced over 40 students to the region contest. And we're advancing over um we're advancing 28 to the state contest on academics alone, not including one-act play. If that stands, kind of
tell you how far we are, right? But, let me give you a little bit. So, our UIL academic team continues its tradition on excellent in excellence as region champions with a score of 379 points, which is 200 points higher than the second place team at region. So, that's an amazing feat on its own. >> [applause] >> These points are awarded across all events by not only individual placements, but also by team placements. We're advancing five first place teams, accounting, calculator, journalism, mathematics, and number sense. And we also got two wild card teams. What that means is they got the highest second place team out of the entire state for all four regions. So, we're advancing current issues and events and literary criticism as well all to state and some individuals as well. So, amazing. So,
let me individuals, let me go ahead and mention that. The individuals that will be competing at state are in the Barbara Jordan historical essay contest. We have computer science and we have spelling individuals going uh uh to state. We have a few representatives, not everybody cuz they're all at home studying, but um I do have a few. They're not in in alphabetical order. That's okay. We'll figure this out. That's okay. Just kind of scoot when I call you. All right. So, um our accounting, our accounting team is actually coached by um Rashid ur Rahman. He's not here tonight, but we do have one of our representatives here, Sushi. Where are you? Sushi. Um Sushanth Ganta. He also um his teammates include uh Chloe Neal, Madeline Daggett, and Samiha uh Sernavason. So, but they're not here.
So, I but you're going to stay cuz we're going to get a big group pic. So, just kind of come over here. All right. Um we also have computer science representatives here. That is also coached by Rashid ur Rahman. Uh we have Austin Lansberry. Come on. I know you're all the way back there. >> [applause] >> We have Corbin Bookiao. Abhi Tatavarti. >> [applause] >> And uh Kushal Kanaparthi. >> [applause] >> And you're going to see me repeat a couple of these people's names cuz they actually do multiple events, right? Um then for the Barbara Jordan Historical Essay Contest, this is an individual event. Um we've only been participating in it for a few years, but pretty much every year we've gotten kids uh placed, which is amazing. They do compete against 5A 6A together
at the state competition. Uh so they have a little bit, but they're only one of I think eight or 10. But we have one representative here, uh Saathvik Alla. Come on. But we actually advanced three students' essays. Uh actually a second one, he's Sai Rohan Pasumarthi. And she's not here tonight, but but uh Sharana um Ram uh I scribbled it. Ramana Ram I scribbled it. I can't finish it off. Um so we have three actually going for essay for that one. Uh current issues and events coached by Matthew Woody. He's coming up. Yep. Yep. Mhm. So for that one, we still have Sai Rohan, he's also part of the current issues and events team. We also have Rohan Patel here tonight. Um it we don't have um Nick Moller here tonight. No. Okay, and Chloe
Rose is also not here tonight. All right. Um but also while you're standing there, he also coaches our social studies team. All these coaches double up on multiple things. So we do have um Shreehan Naruvadi is here tonight for social studies. And Shreehan, you're returning, right? You're only a junior, right? Yeah? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Okay. Um we also had uh Kylie Weston, Bella Miazzo, and Treyus Magner. They're seniors. Um so they won't be back. For journalism, we have uh coached by Marina Walterscheid. And we have Yep. And we have one of her students who advanced to state, Anya Gobba. Tierney Withrow is not here tonight. But she is also let's see. Let's keep going. We have I know we have a lot. I'm sorry. And then we also math, calculator, and number sense.
Three different events are coached by Russell Perkins, Big Perk, and Caleb Perkins, Little Perk. But we do have some representatives here tonight. We have Kushal Konaparthi. He's also part of the team. Abhi Tatavarthi. He's also part of the team. >> [laughter] >> Um Sasvik Bakala. >> [applause] >> Um and then Madden Matcha. >> [applause] >> Then Cooper Gill, Zack, and Katie Fritz are not here tonight, but they're also going to be advancing to state. >> [applause] >> And then last science coached by myself, Will Carter, and Sabrina Irwin. We have just a couple of our representatives here tonight. We have Eddie Acres. >> [applause] >> Noan Jin. And Madden Matcha, who already standing up there. I think I I think I got everybody. Uh for some of these kids they will push themselves one more
time next week and for others they have finished their competition season here at Argyle High School. But what they have accomplished in their time is no small feat and they it will be continued by what we call the littles that are following right behind them. So please give them one more big applause for some of them. This is their last one, but cheer them on for next week. >> [applause] >> They're lined up perfectly. Great shot. Awesome. Big congratulations to our UIL academic all-stars. The next recognition is our students from the DECA, the Distributive Education Clubs of America. And here to present them is principal from Argyle High School, Mrs. Knowles. All right. Thank you. I am proud to recognize two outstanding students, Sahithi Alla and Sanvi Naravati, for their incredible accomplishments at the DECA
International Career Development Conference held April 25th in Atlanta, Georgia. Sahithi Oh, you can clap. Go ahead. Thank you. Sahithi competed in Principles of Business Management, while Sanvi competed in Principles of Hospitality after earning their qualification at the Texas DECA State Conference in February. Advancing to the international level is an extraordinary achievement, and both students represented Argyle High School and Texas DECA with excellent professionalism and eagle pride throughout the competition. Please join me in congratulating Sahithi and Sanvi for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding representation of Argyle High School. >> [applause] >> Congratulations to our students from the Argyle High School DECA. >> [applause] >> Mrs. Knowles will lead in our next group from HOSA, which is the Future Health Professionals Organization, and she will present our students. All right, with over 40,000 members, Texas HOSA
is the largest state HOSA organization in the world. The students are presented with 56 competitive events to choose from and prepare for. The following students did an amazing job and advanced to the state competition to place and receive the following awards. First place creative problem solving, Akshai Raghuperuthra. Nidhi Challa. Second place HOSA Bowl, Rohan Patel. Sujit Pappala. Sathvik Pakala. Kashyap Kenaparthy. They're just racking up the medals, these kids. Um and then we had some Barbara James Service Awards, and these students all had a minimum of 100 service hours. Rohith Pasumarthy. Suhit Pappala. >> [applause] >> Sathvik Pakala. And Rohan Patel. >> [applause] >> And that's all. That's it. >> Awesome. Congratulations to the students from HOSA at Argyle High School. Next, we will highlight the outstanding work of the AHS students participating in the SkillsUSA
competition. Please welcome AHS teachers Shannon Baker and Alicia Greenwood. >> [cheering] [applause] >> Good evening. I'm Alicia Greenwood and I'm a culinary teacher here at the high school. Um Ms. Baker and I are two of the advisors for SkillsUSA. I need my glasses. Sorry. Uh two of the advisors for the AHS SkillsUSA chapter. SkillsUSA is a career and technical student organization and it helps students excel in leadership, technical, and occupationally related skills. So, this was our first year competing at SkillsUSA and uh Ms. Greenwood and I we agreed if we could pay for it, get the kids there, get them in uniforms, the goal was to just learn as much as we could this year. Um so, next year we would be ahead of the game, but true to Argyle uh form and fashion, uh
they swept districts in almost every single category. Um and then a few months later she and I are driving a school bus with 14 kids to Corpus Christi. Yes. Um the kids and I did want to take a second and thank um Chief Davis and Officer uh St. John who loaned us some squad cars to practice with. Uh they also stayed after school to help. We want to thank Mr. Matt Slayton, uh Mr. Lemish, and my husband Mr. Baker who also stayed after school to help with the building search and rapid response groups. Um we have some truly truly amazing kids and we're so proud of them. Yes, we are very proud of them. We are also um proud of the fact of how much time they spent outside of school preparing for these contests.
So, now I would like to recognize our um state qualifying culinary students. In baking and pastry pastry, we have Carlie Atkins, junior. She placed Oh. Carlie's cookies. She placed first at district and seventh out of 25 at state. In restaurant service, we have Trinity Young, junior. >> [applause] [cheering] >> She placed first at district and sixth out of 23 at state. And we have Estelle Stanworth, freshman. >> [applause] >> She placed second at district and seventh out of 23 at state. No. >> Mhm. >> [applause] >> Okay, so for my law enforcement kids, first group is building search, uh which included Reagan Day, Hayden Blackman. I'm sorry, Reagan. >> [laughter] >> Then Hayden Blackman, William Reed Marberry, and Sushi Ganta, Sushanth Ganta. >> [applause] >> And they competed together as a team. We then have
the partners, uh Hayden Rogers, as well as Kaylin Strange. Uh they competed in the felony traffic stop. Uh next we've got Cara Campbell, who competed in crime scene exhibit. Uh she created an arson investigation display. Um the judges pulled me aside and told me they had never seen one done on arson before, and they thought that was pretty cool. She received a perfect score, state superior, and that's Cara Campbell. >> [applause] >> And last, my senior, Bailey Bostick. >> [applause] >> So, I've had Bailey for 3 years and her last day is tomorrow. I'm okay. Um she competed in job interview. Uh Bailey's going to be heading to UNT majoring in public relations and then she hopes to transfer into law school. So, very proud of my kids. >> [applause] >> Great. Big round of
applause for our students competing in SkillsUSA. Again, for the first year to have that much success is awesome. So, again, congratulations to our students at Argyle High School. The next recognition is our foreign exchange students at Argyle High School. Here to recognize them is Mrs. Knowles and Mrs. McGuire. All right. This is the last time y'all get to hear from me tonight. Uh tonight, we are proud to recognize our incredible foreign exchange students. They have brought unique perspective, cultures, and experiences to our school community this year. Through their courage to study far from home, willingness to embrace new experiences, and ability to build meaningful connections, these students have enriched the lives of both their classmates and our staff. They have represented their home countries with pride while becoming valued members of the Argyle High School
family. Please join me in celebrating and honoring our foreign exchange students for an outstanding year as Argyle Eagles. First one is Ricardo Buquio from Italy >> [applause] >> Next, Ona Tormo from Spain >> [applause] >> Ariana Palone from Italy >> [applause] >> and Veronica Verchio from Italy as well. >> [applause] >> And move toward the letters. Congratulations to our foreign exchange students from Argyle High School. 042team. Uh they're they're coachable, um they're competitive, and then uh they care. They they will put uh individual success behind them for team success, and that will that's what makes them so special. Uh and we're just so excited to be able to uh win our seventh state title in girls basketball, but our first one in 5A. And so, they put in all the work and they deserve this award. I have the honor tonight of introducing actually two teams. Golf's a little bit
different. They allow us to enter multiple teams in our district competition. And the way you advance in golf, the top two teams in the district tournament advance. So, we finished first and second in the district tournament this year. So, our black team finished first, our red team finished second. They both qualified to go to regionals. At the regional tournament, our red team finished ninth at the regional tournament. And then our black team finished first at the regional tournament and advanced to state tournament after a brief year off last year. He finished number four in the state at the state tournament, which is quite an accomplishment. >> [applause] >> Jett Westmoreland who doubled up with basketball and golf, which is impressive in itself to be able to accomplish that. Um Hang on, Will. I'm going
to do Caden first. We're going to do Caden Henderson. >> [applause] >> And then district champion and senior Will Donovan. >> [applause] >> This is your 2025-26 boys golf team. >> [applause] >> Congratulations to our Argyle High School Eagles boys golf. Uh we finished in a close third behind those two guys. Um they went on to finish in first and second in
the state. So we just happen to be in one of the toughest regions. Uh I mean, one of the toughest districts in our region. But these two ladies have uh led us with their amazing attitudes, uh hard work, and uh both of these ladies were both uh second team all-district, and both of them were uh honorable honorable mention all-region. All right. And I get to try to do this all over again. So and I'd just like to point out to everyone, I didn't cry this year. This is a first. Okay? That's the biggest accomplishment right here. Um to get to the regional track meet, uh you have to place in the top four in district and then advance to area and place top four there as well. So, you have to be a pretty elite um athlete and track athlete to get to the regional meet. So, super proud of these uh athletes we have over here. Um I'm going to start with the boys. Uh first up we have Reno Herman. >> [applause] >> Next is Okay O'Neal. >> [applause] >> Obadiah Doyle. And Zach Hold who will be competing in the state track meet. >> [applause] >> Uh

This season saw so many of our players win individual tournament titles and many other second and third place medalist finishes. Six members of our team were able to advance into the playoffs and they're here tonight for their efforts. Of these six players, three of them were district champions and all of them advanced to the regional tournament. Our 2026 spring tennis regional qualifiers are Amber Lewis, >> [applause] >> Julia Leitner, >> [applause] >> Tessa Wroasty, >> [applause] >> Cooper Atkins, >> [applause] >> Bhargava Ampajalam >> [applause] >> and Shrihan Niravati. >> [applause] >> All of the following players advanced to the quarterfinal round at the Region I tournament. Amber Lewis and Tessa Woesty, who were the girls

My name is Ricky Lucido. I'm the head girl soccer coach here at Argyle High School. And thank you for the opportunity to
recognize an incredible special group of student athletes. I've had the honor to work with them all season long and they have given their heart and soul to the soccer field, to me, and I really appreciate all of their efforts this season. This season our girls soccer team made an outstanding run to the regional final, tying the deepest playoff run in our program's history at the 5A level. While the ending was tough, the journey to get there was nothing short of remarkable. The team faced adversity all season long. We had injuries, we had setbacks, but they showed resilience and unity all season. And I appreciate all of their efforts all season long. So, I'm going to present everybody, even though we're not all here tonight. We have club soccer going on and tryouts and all the
things. But first off, we have Michaela Bland. >> [applause] >> Emma Basinger. Jillian Castleberry >> [applause] >> Sarah Montoya Faith Repert Gracie Black Julia Allen Ava Adkins >> [applause] >> Remy Powell Hannah Lee Anika Ross Sarah Begay Lexi Marler Lauren Frisby Evangeline Edmonson Ava Gould Maddie Chapman Lacie Edens Liv Lubojacky Sophia Gomez and Hadley Overton. >> [applause] >> Congratulations, ladies. I'm so proud of you. Congratulations to our Lady Eagle Region finalist soccer team. All right. Now we conclude tonight with the strongest individuals in the building. It's this year's Argyle High School powerlifting team. Here to present them is coach Ortega. Take it away, coach. All right. I'm Freddy Ortega, but head powerlifting coach. Before we start, I'd like to give a little shout out to my wife, Jamie Ortega. Real proud of her today. She
won the Crest Award. >> [applause] >> Very exciting. She told me not to go off script, but that's okay. All right. Uh let's see. Uh to qualify for regionals, it's a little bit different. Boys, they have to be top 12 ranked as in you have to have the 12 best totals in your region. The girls have to either hit a total or be top 12. So, it you still have to be pretty strong to get into either one of those categories. After that, state you have to either be top two or find a certain total depending on your weight class to make it to uh state. And so, these particular kids have done that. Let's start off. Let's see. Um So, we had nine boys and three girls qualify for regionals. From that group, four
boys went to state and two girls went to state. Out of And one of those girls end up earning second place. So, let's go ahead and go down the list real quick. Right here, let's start off with the William Schmidt. He was a state qualifier. >> [applause] >> And I'm going to butcher your name, Joey. I'm sorry. Joey Mukalowski. Also state qualifier. Uh Luke Hargen. >> [applause] >> Patrick Martin. Spencer Hottle. Also a state qualifier. Reese Sutter. >> [applause] >> Ashton Valencia. Caleb Bedford. >> [applause] >> And Grayson Edwards. Also a state qualifier. And now our girls. I got Sophie Baloo. Did I say that right? >> [applause] >> I have Samantha Mansfield. State qualifier. And then finally probably the strongest person in the building. Is that right? Can we say that, Lauren? Lauren Mansfield,
who got second place in states. That means she is the second strongest person in the state of Texas in her weight class, which is pretty awesome. So, if you have anything that weighs about 400 lb, you need it moved, you come find her. Uh lastly, I would also take a moment to recognize uh somebody who's pretty important, uh David Munns. Uh and all the kids will appreciate this. Uh we unexpectedly lost David at the beginning of the season. Um But, his impact on this community and especially on the powerlifting program will never be forgotten. It's It's huge to see how much these kids just love David, or Coach Munns. Uh for many years, uh he helped build the foundation and culture of this team, setting a standard of commitment, toughness, and character that continues to
influence these students every day. Uh I'll always be grateful for him and uh what he kind of what essentially he has set the standard for for me and for anybody else who ever comes to be a part of powerlifting. Uh and I'd like to, you know, thank him especially. It's really important that we say that. I would imagine the kids feel the same way, right? Yeah, absolutely. All right. Well, there you go. Uh our 2026 powerlifting team. >> [applause] >> All right. One more round of applause for our final group, the Argyle High School Powerlifting Team, boys and girls.
