Um, Mr. Patton over here will keep the time for you. You he'll I guess he'll start it as soon as you start talking. >> Um, thank you for allowing me to speak. I'm referencing I was
one of the uh contractors that showed up to the mandatory site visit that was allotted in the bid form. I represent Johnson Roofing. We've been a figure of this community for over 85 years. Um, basically I wanted to just bring up the facts that 33 contractors showed up to the mandatory bid. Um, no questions, protests, or conflicts of the bid criteria or scoring system was brought up during the process, RFIs, or any process that I'm aware of. So that infers that everyone accepted the playing field. We made our bid. we presented it and you know did everything correctly in our opinion. So my humble opinion the questions and the the questioning the bid criteria after all the bids and scoring has been ruled is more like moving the goalpost after the kicker set up for
the kick. So my you know request is is that we uh move forward with the scoring system that was in place when we bid and we pray and ask that uh we are considered for you know this proposal. >> Anything else? >> Thank you. Thank you. We're moving on to item number two. Review, discuss, and take appropriate action on the South Wake Elementary roofing bid presented by Gloria Barrera. >> Good evening, Mr. President, Dr. Spicer, members of the board. We're going to talk about South Waco again. So, um, after our conversation last week, we, uh, responded to the request and went back and completed the evaluation matrix for the TPO roofing system. So, what you have in front of you now is a memo that has the two systems, both showing the highest ranked proposers
for each system, so that it's very clear which which one is uh, highest ranked for each system. I want to make sure that the board memo you're looking at is the correct version that shows uh for bid item two number one ranked would be JGA bid item I'm sorry bid item yeah bid item two number one ranked JGA number two ranked should be Johnson roofing okay is that what you got okay good because we had a little hiccup there and number three is Hundy's roofing so um I know we also provided >> Johnson roofing Clark briefing and CR systems. Is that what you >> Yes, that is for bid item one. Yes. >> Thank you. >> We did provide also a comparison of the two systems for your consideration um for their their highest and
best applications. Make a motion to approve the selection of the highest ranked proposer for bid item two and authorize the superintendent to negotiate and execute a contract with the selected uh bidder. >> Second. >> I'll second. >> Thank you, Mr. Patton, on the motion and Mr. Bleo for the second. Mr. Ablis, is there any discussion? >> No, sir. >> Mr. Bleto, is there any discussion? >> No, sir. >> Mr. Davis, is there any discussion? >> Mr. Patton, is there any discussion? >> No. >> Mr. Oo, is there any discussion? >> No. >> All in favor say I. >> I. >> Passes. Thank you all. >> And with we're adjourned.
