uh it is without honor that we're recognizing Bane Parkinson tonight uh he is given so much to the wildsville community in her career over 20 years she has I she was actually my school accounting one uh teacher when I first came into school districts in 2008 uh so we go back a long ways uh and so it's just amazing to watch her career watch where he's been how to interact at the large District round table that we have once a month she interacts with all of those larger districts um just giving ideas and and discussion points we go through a lot of difficult legislative issues and things that we're trying to implement and I always look debating because you're always giving good advice you're digging into the details you're really working hard to you know
make the necessary changes at your District to support students and their learning and so it's just been fun to watch her career and then to be nominated by your peers and we're really proud of you and I can't think of anybody more deserving than you being so congratulations they appreciate your work I want to thank our superintendent for all support that she can provide to me and also my staff as well without all these people uh supporting I would be able to work and including everybody's in this world or the cabinet members and Leadership without their support without their understanding how it cannot be because you get what I get and I appreciate all thank you recognize two weeks ago superintendent and dance and being gave a presentation at our annual conference and it was
a superintendent business manager relationship it was a huge success I heard there were so many people in that room and just really appreciated the relationship that the two of you have and how you work so well together that is not a normal thing in school districts and Bing and I have both been at districts where that is not something that is normal and so you guys are really lucky here to have that leadership and that they're working in tandem to support the students so be proud of superintendent dance and bang for the work that they're doing so thank you appreciate both of you [Music] okay foreign never expected my soul is my community that I grow up in my career and everywhere I go I will go back to that as my home there's really
meaningful to me and a lot of good people there I love a lot as a newcomer and a new immigrant at the time to attend was fall it was overwhelmed but there's a lot of people can hold me walk along with me during these 20 something years that is just amazing and this is a great community and it's really so cool uh congratulations it was an honor to know if you ever gave problems yeah um because of your vision algorithms you really are in the best I have anything you've ever been our enrollment um they have some fantastic story so we've never used to manage to sit down with them because I invest uh Islam to be done by the second director of secondary school Stephen and this one is actually a second all right
good evening superintendent Jen members of the board um it's a good evening everyone I truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of tonight's uh recognition I want to thank Bonney Lake High School staff at Panther student with us tonight as well as staff from East Pierce Fire and Rescue perhaps most importantly I want to thank and celebrate the Burton family being with us tonight especially Logan a 9th grader Bond Lake High School for everyone's benefit and to try to capture what we are recognizing tonight let me tell you a bit about what transpired on May 1st truly the unthinkable happened during fifth period Logan Burton collapsed during his Fitness class and the response by scat and students combined with me exactly what needed to occur for Logan compressions were applied and continued for upwards
of eight minutes an AED device was grabbed from its location and properly used extremely unbelievable this all happened in a high school Fitness setting with well over 100 students four staff members while in proximity of each other still needed to be alerted and come together additional staff including health room staff trainer front office staff quickly came to the scene students were critical in the learning teachers and even assisting in grabbing the AED from the wall initially of course our East Pierce paramedics were quickly on site and provided their amazing response I know that tonight Jeff Moore assistant chief of East peers firing rescue is procure with us tonight um as I shared with these peer Staff last night there was a recognition at the commission's meeting was uh just lovely and wonderful but as I
shared last night this has truly been a learning experience with a profound impact on so many this experience reinforces training and planning which are a part of our regular work and it's given us opportunities to more closely examine what we can do to be even better prepared in the future so please join me in recognizing Bond Lake High School staff and students our East Pierce Fire and Rescue partners and the bird family with us here tonight I'd like to invite assistant chief more as well as Mrs Alicia Burton up here to provide some recognition as well and then uh staff once you get up here I'm sorry I'm going to keep you up here uh we've got some additional certificates for you after uh both Jeff and Alicia have spoken so yeah yeah thank you
for having me um I I just you know wanted to take the time to be able to spend a little bit of the experience with you from our perspective on that what we feel really was something that was amazing that happened on 5-1 2023. um you know Cardiac Arrest can happen suddenly unexpected um the people could be doing their thing and not even be expecting what's going to happen and when people jump into action and they make decisions they make a difference it's really pretty amazing what can happen not only do families and friends get their loved ones back but then I think we also start to understand something as a community it takes an entire Community to make a difference when it comes to Cardiac Arrest Revival these Pierce has been on a journey
probably for the last 10 years really trying to improve Cardiac Arrest Revival we've never been able to do that without the collaborative partners and school districts being willing to let their employees be taught first aid CPR how to use an AED trust me it's not as easy as you think um but the teachers that day and the staff that were involved in jumping into action knew what to do they worked like a well-synchronized machine because of that I can say honestly tell you that they did save the life of Logan and now their family can have something to celebrate because of the actions that took place that day so I want to thank the school board for your collaborative efforts that you've been on working with us allowing for your employees to detox CPR first
aid how to use an A D and then you have AED throughout your you know for all your facilities so thank you very much foreign I didn't make it last night I'm Alicia I'm Logan's mom and um for those of you that don't know um just very quickly a little bit about Logan his um this is a second Cardiac Arrest he'd survived two of them and that puts him in about a one percent one percentile of the world that survives sudden Cardiac Arrest um and the first time it I don't want to say it was expected but it was after an open heart surgery he does have a congenital heart defect and has had two heart surgeries um and so we were in an atmosphere where um we never wanted to hear those words but
we thought okay that makes sense it was after a very significant open heart surgery and we were in the right place at the right time with the right people at Seattle Children's they came in immediately and he was um still with us so for seven years he's been relatively symptom-free um we never in a million years thought we would hear the words cardiac arrest again he had just graduated every two years with his cardiologist and so imagine my surprise on Monday May 1st when I'm sitting in my office and my husband texts me with um call me 9-1-1 and so I called and I heard those two words that I never want to hear again and never thought I would hear again and that was cardiac arrest and so we pled to uh Mary Bridge
and he met us there and uh he was alive and from the very first person that I saw to the very last Medical Professional that we saw at every single person said Bonney Lake High School staff are heroes like they said they did textbook CPR and AED and um I mean I had cardiologists and I had EMTs and I had emergency room staff telling me that this worked exactly as planned assistant to achieve more um told me the same thing and so um I will Echo that there are not words to express our family's gratitude to the school and this district for having um aeds if this had happened anywhere else if it happened at our home if this had happened in a restaurant in A Car Logan would not be here with us today
the fact that it happened at school in a gym where an AED was close and with staff who paid attention in CPR class uh is the reason he is here and and I my brain won't even go to what where we would be today if it didn't happen where it was and so it was yet again for the second time and Logan's like right place right time right people and so I and my family are eternally grateful for the superheroes that saved our son's life um I have I how do you gift somebody or thank somebody for saving your child life it's impossible but I do have a couple gifts that I do want to give to them you'll see I'm supporting the Captain America but with an l a t-shirt these were actually created
during his first um Open Heart School his second open heart surgery um just as a support um for him um I didn't think I'd ever have to recreate them but I have and I have um shirts for all of the staff members that were involved I also have little mugs and I want to Echo what assistant she'd more said that um what is so impressive is that the the people that jumped in jumped in when they did they weren't scared you know so many of us have fight or flight flight or fight or freeze and uh two people in particular uh did not do that they started CPR they got the Ed immediately and and that is really what saved um Logan's life so with that all people up one by one all right and
I know Mr Foster's not here he's at a track meets uh Brenda is Brenda here all right uh nurse Jamie Kelly Johnson is not here Robin here's Gabe okay oh she blast Mr Clark thank you all right okay okay all right so uh the first person that um came to action is um David Shoemaker the PE teacher and um it was so wonderful to meet him last night and to hug him and thank him um he is the person that saw Logan uh collapse and he thought Logan was joking well we can get her everybody wants to see Logan um thank you so David immediately noticed that this was not Logan joking around and immediately started CPR and um I again I'm so ever so grateful uh when I thought of what I could get
the um the two people that did the CPR and the AED I thought um I wanted to get them something that would remind them every year around this time that they saved a life so I got them a dogwood tree which blooms in the spring and I hope you plant it in your front yard and every day that you look out your window every year when it starts blooming I want you to know that you have saved the life and I want you to think of Logan and um know that we are ever so grateful foreign [Music] and as I said last night like as a mother of a heart patient I'm embarrassed to say that um I thought CPR was still the mouth to mouth I've learned now they made us watch a video
before we were released from the hospital so I do know it's only chest compressions now the other thing though is that I didn't even know how an AED works and um so I am again ever so grateful to Aaron that she grabbed that machine and knew what to do and it adapt him so clearly he needed it um and so I just want to say thank you so much thank you it was so assistant chief Moore on behalf of the district thank you and your staff so much um yeah all right and we got certificates and points for the uh the Burton family so I believe that uh Patrick Burton is here um and then Logan we've got a all right and yeah all right let's see if I do better with the staff here
all right David and uh foreign and Mr Clark all right thanks so much treat you at the time and we've had the opportunity uh well done and uh recognition is very well deserved foreign so please foreign thank you the policy is still uh in the draft stage where we were you know I think what the plan is is about 90 percent it won't take too long to do that uh we will then have an Administration students and community members and then it'll come back to the policy committee look at that review and hopefully we'll have something on the agenda I don't know when but my hope is prior to the center of the school year the proposed policy is a 3203 he's in a student attention you might want to do it for uh well
but right now it's obviously the post office 32.03 I don't think prohibition of racial and ethnographic yeah the summer body like School Board rejects all forms of racial and ethnic procrastinate that's descriptive to their mission values and goals do this again the district must provide and maintain working and learning environment among all students the district school has provided an environment where individuals are free to development will actually personally and consider intimidation working here in school and school sponsored events or amend such actions create a substantial disruptions the educational process Rachel and ethnic slurs the derogatory statements a lot of other forms of harassment that not only those who suffered an harassment but also the entire community seven sure um a couple of events that uh attended recently and saw that he was going on in
the district both high schools have had their receiver cases recently we recognized a number of awesome students and was able to attend those and see all the great things that they've done and the recognition of their peers on in the high school and things are going on a dude when you graduate which is really truly amazing to see the greatest use um also it just kind of suggests some of the other side of us for that but it's really the start of getting the graduation season a lot going on lots of scholarships things that are happening it's really just good to see Community it's all seen in community sport so okay has given um there's a lot to celebrate right now I often say at this time of the year that um the ordinary because
you do whatever the year it's just no extraordinary um for those students who are getting ready to walk with us go along with that it's just a great time um to belong our kids um I was able to attend unfortunately a brief part of violate showcase but it was great to see family and friends supporting their kids I did go to the photography um the top 10 for each High School but okay in our district they are also athletes and musicians and artists and leaders in terms of student government and the list that they um rattled off information [Music] thank you okay um last board meeting I understand that makes some comments tonight about some comments another summer violates people board but approximately 15 years I've learned a lot of change 11 different board members
four different superintendents build new or remodeled every school student population has grown significantly has student achievement and graduation rates have increased substantially the board has been instrumental in bringing the district through through policy institutions and approving action brought to the board by the superintendent I have to give superintendent Jim credit as she has brought great staff to the district who have definitely assisted an improving the district through their ideas and knowledge when I was appointed to the board I had no preconceived agenda other than to address each and every issue presented to me for the common sense approach for yours through my unemployment I have witnessed the failures of the education system I thought I could provide some input to alleviate some of the failures I believe each board member comes to their position with
their own ideas beliefs and opinions as a group we have not always agreed I know and most that you don't see me vote no on several issues and express my opinions I've not always agreed with the superintendent and I believe it's good it's a good thing each board members should have their own opinions and beliefs that should not be a crave to express their opinion otherwise this board is nothing more than a ceremony award for the budget period we as board members should recognize the good of the district but not be afraid to speak up when one views something that's wrong I respect those from the community that come to the board meetings and express their opinion through an audience comments there have been many occasions where audience comments have provided valuable Insight regarding issues
in the district however what I have no respect for is the derogatory comments made just because one does not agree with another's opinions I have to say I won't speak to derogatory name calling of an individual just because we have a difference of opinion one of the goals of this District plan is a critical thinkers I have heard it said teachers are here to teach students how to think about what the thing I truly hope and believe that is what's happening in our schools for those of you that have expressed the desire could have been centered or removed from the board I do not plan on going anywhere in until the end of my term to represent those that have a different opinions than yours yes there are many people that agree with my opinion
probably more than the 500 in your petition regarding 32 11 policies and procedure I've talked with teachers teachers from other districts board members from other business export members uh administrators in other districts and people in the community and yes individuals from the LGBT community lgbtq plus community what is interesting is people are not going to speak up publicly because they don't want to be harassed and intimidated or bullied for their opinion what a coincidence isn't that what you strive for hearing Logistics with the HIV policy I wish it applied to everyone I'm going to say this again I am not anti-trans I'm not transphobic I'm not homophobic and again I will say a man is not a woman a woman is not a man one may identify as they wish and live their life as
they would accept one of the fridges on the rights of others I guess what I am the pro woman breaks I want female students to feel safely here and comfortable in their environment bathrooms locker rooms and sports I have frequently mentioned a video on YouTube which some people have a problem with that they want YouTube it was the YouTube video of Riley Haynes talking about your experience regarding a transgendered athlete and then recently the senior field the senior recently obtain or female spoke at a school board meeting in California regarding transgender males if after watching either of those videos one has no compassion or empathy for what they have have and others have endured and nerds something is wrong ask yourself this question this is one that I really wonder about what about sexual assault
victims is it possible they will be traveling when having a personal Galaxy victims of abuse to scroll the derogatory comments towards me I have probably been called words but better as for the recent comments it makes the Christ some of you I have been married to a person of color for 44 years when my wife and I attended School he was harassed because of her color yet if she was it has been said I am not here for all students nothing could be further from the truth I would not have stuck around for 15 years if I wasn't here for all students all students should have the same opportunities just to accept nothing more nothing left um was recently we had a meeting foreign it says love serve care that's what I thought and I
I remember sitting in the meeting and staring at those words and how important those words are to the values and the commitment that we have to love is a repair of every student in history um and how that really is the foundation of what we do it's just remainder as well audience comments meetings individuals who wish to address the board and have signed up online um okay thank you comments from the public are taken and reward advisement and may or may not receive action on the future video topics including charges or complaints against employees employment or dismissal of personnel acquisition of real estate lawyer client relationships campaigning and parameters for negotiations should not be discussed in audience comments other information questions or problems can usually be addressed by District staff the audience comment period will
end when all registered speakers have been heard we ask that everyone here and understand these guidelines in order to maintain respect for all points of view the school board request been caught being bullied or any other form with support or non-support be used the board will not respond to comments Bob will take them under advisement speakers should be courteous and professional please refrain from using profanity vulner language threatening and dependental or defamatory dominance as a reminder individuals are not benefits they have a specific establishment or board member or student during public comments failure to do so may result in the board president or designate the interrupt interland in the comment the audience comment process is as follows only speakers who registered by noon on Tuesday May 16th will be heard if you are providing in-person
public comment when your name is Paul please come to Podium and state your name if you are providing virtual public comment when your name is Fault you'll be promoted to panelists please think to yourself off mute before you begin speaking please address comments to the school board as a whole individuals have three minutes to speak I will signal speakers with the Bell when one minute remains our first audience comment this evening is Christina Cooper yeah I was thinking I was going to be changing something um after um um my name is Christina Cooper and my pronouns are she and hers I'm here tonight to advocate for an anti-racist policy which I'm really excited to hear but I'll just go ahead and read what I had written um in January I emailed the board requesting an
anti-racist policy and included links to peer-reviewed studies showing that repeated exposed racial microaggressions and macro regressions can result in functional impairments of daily activities and hair symptoms of PTSD this is referred to as race-based traumatic stress injury and is common among bipoc students that live in communities and attend schools that are predominantly white as I shared in my email my husband and I know this to be true because our daughter struggles to come to school each day for this very reason she left learning and still does but it was an emotional struggle to bring herself to endure another day in the toxic environment on her school she graduated in 2018 and will have a lifetime of unpacking of emotional trauma that she endured so this prohibition policy is is vital to all students in a
recent board meeting her study session a board member has stated that the district already had a discrimination policy and followed it with the question of are we going to just keep making a policy for everyone the answer to that is yes if you are being asked to adopt a specific policy it's because of the general discrimination policy is too vague to apply to protect students and staff a great example of this would be a board members public discriminatory comments um it's a great example that were towards transgender students during February's board meeting and apparently the current discrimination policy is so gay that the district and board are unable to identify what was discriminatory about his comments including him by adopting an anti-racist policy you would be validating your bipoc students and staff's experiences and showing
them how the district will support them specifically thank you thank you our next audience comment is Isaac Kim um our next audience comment is Rowan thomasia Davis I apologize if I mispronounced your name it was closer than most people yeah so I am here to speak regarding the comments of a specific board member as well as the inaction of other board members to prevent it as many of you may know this board member went on an 18 minute long rant in which they spot a transphobic and hateful rhetoric and not a single board member saw them or spoke of when people refuse to speak up against hate they're complicit in that hate throughout history we have seen many situations when people failing to speak up against hate in the beginning of a movement allows that
hateful controlling ideology to spread ultimately those who go along with it or refuse to stop it are at fault too that one board member may not change their views but it is possible to stop them from spreading hateful ideas regarding this topic I would like to read a quote first they came for the Socialists and I did not speak out because I was one of the Socialists then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was on a trade unionist then they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew then they came for me and there's no one left to speak for me right now there's a movement in this country against the lgbtq plus community in trans people especially people
are attempted to erase trans people from society and we cannot allow this to happen this is how genocides begin and are allowed to progress we must speak about again we must speak out against this whenever possible especially those who are in positions of power do not let that quote apply to you thank you the next audience comment is Theresa McClymonds oh hi my name is [Music] um wow the vibe just changed in this room it was there was such a good vital honoring um your uh account yeah honoring the students um uh they've never uh Aaron was uh talking about the Rotary Club honoring um you know some little smart kids and athletes and musicians and and how beautiful that is that people were celebrated for their marriage or what they what their lives into
and their focus on and that's a real something to ponder in life is what we what can we focus on because a lot of times what we focus on that's our world you know and and I love what Aaron has said up here you know the love service and care you know serving and caring that's just like beautiful and and I would believe for Sumner and some of the school district here that's what wants to be that's what everybody wants to strike right in their hard Parts with humans where we we should love one another we respect one another and out of spread love and respect beautiful things occur there's no depression in that when people are loved and respected and they're able to uh celebrate their merits you can look you don't even you
see color you see race you see transgenders whatever you know I was abused as a child you know neglected do I have to go there no I don't really want to go there you know we don't need to to focus on the negative people let's focus on the three R's you get these kids to read well and I and they will thrive you give them to look and get into uh Speech to feed and at the age of if you know like fourth grade and up that is required on these important issues that everybody just it is passionate about to learn both sides and then people should choose out of their own freedom of expression that's what America is and that's a god-given rights god-given rights I don't really care what you do in your
bedrooms or in your arm with your checkbooks or any of that and you shouldn't care with me either but I will put your Liberty above my I want you Rick Richard to have your freedom of expression in everyone too end of yes that was our last audience comment thank you policy matters um falling policies 18 31 43 The District administration representative foreign um we we've made updates to the prohibition of harassment activities more explicit racial slurs and racial language in there uh University and bid requirement was an update from uh bang CFO and we updated Disability Policy as well uh with the more racial motivated language it was uh back and we'll be looking for other uh policies that we can look and say doing the job foreign [Music] the program of RTL is to
deliver academic and non-academic support participating students who are significantly at risk of not being successful the RCL program uses barriers to learning increases student engagement and enhances the district the administration recommends the board of directors approval five percent to be certified for RTL and criminal learning consistent program so I have a motion a second second yeah we're happy to see that the budget being set aside for something like this foreign all those in favor say aye aye okay information the budget status report for May is included um for information only um and we also have a presentation correct Awards um oh what's the Raptors support an event tonight and we will do some logic update including some legislative updates that uh last time I talked about but because this time we already finished the let's
see if it is 105 days long sessions or by any so um this is the build that we watched what are you doing well then just speak four languages so anyway I want to update you some of the build that we've been watching and uh in campus School District uh luckily we get at least this special ad funding uh will pass uh not so much because why the end on time the Thousand section because that's not many money much money for other one at all so this is so easy to pass right uh it's not really giving much of the money uh they increase the Gap from 13.5 to 15 percent which is not much of the impact for us because we are below 13.5 percent anyway and the rates is slightly increase which help
a little bit with the budget and they also eased up the safety net rules for high lead students which is we could claim a little bit more uh easier to claim and then another bill passed is the 5650 that is talking about the ipd for two years so they said that 3.7 in 23.24 and then starting 24 25 we will use the previous year's previous calendar year to set the the coming years ipd which is helpful uh predictable when you do budging the transportation bill is a little complicated so it didn't really pass for changing the formula the funding formula however it also supports some funding for special passenger such as like ipd students bikini pencil spoons and Foster students normally we spend a lot of money for this because we we transport using Charter
School charter bus that is more than we uh use our employers which is shortage right now and another deal we are hoping it has but it's not as yet not all yet but uh partially and also head to that direction as for providing free meal for all students right now they said if you your school have green reduced lunch uh about 40 or at least 40 percent then the whole school will get free and reduce free actually free meals so currently we have choose School Davido body and Liberty Ridge Elementary next year we'll set the 30 percent of green reduced lunch rate then we'll have more stores coming in like uh El Toc uh maybe more so we need to make sure our parents submit the application for free reduced lunch form so that way
we can whatever school gets like about yeah borderline will hit that and then the whole school will get free meals for students which is very nice um it's a big ticket bill for the legislative that's why they could not pass for all right now but at least they are having that Russian so we have additional big items that I want to present um this is for 23 24 budget that we will be in our budget we post the secondary certificate uh curriculum director position that we didn't feel current year then we have the JROTC for a army and Air Force programs for the both high school so we set um the officers there and also we need to buy some equipment this program so news you ask uh we get have of the cost reversed
so that is uh good news give them about that we also add three DLC classroom which is required three more teachers six more carers and one bfss staff and also of course we have to have a set of course for those three classrooms and then of course continues on without enough bus drivers we have to pay for supervisions for accessory elementories and also because the people after school supervision as well and each year we as we promised when we build a budget we build budget alive and such as Japan so every new request we have line up with the goals what goals what items require requests that we will document that so this Equity budget we built which is aligned with the gold or um and get um approve that so you can see that
there's several items in this budget also currently we have the we call CPR we call um consolidate program review by the state for compliance so we are not fully in compliance so we have to spend some money for part-time language program for training and endorsement so we're building that budget electronic group wonderful and we add one custodian for the new phase one building in Southern High School we also in the past we used as a function to fund for this special ed online instructor now that we um the essence running actually in so we we paid out of the general public registration we also add one SRO if the PS County Sheriff for four schools that are currently not covered by both cities SRO then additional campus safety officers for each one of uh for
each school middle school this is only one year position is not continued another positions for secondary tulses also for one year as well so um as you know that you approve all those resolution so I kind of listed out here for you to have one um sheet so we can see all the resolution you have approved using the one-time money in our fund balance you can open her balance we set aside these 24.2 million so you can see if we finish all this project our fan dance will be down uh dramatically based on this 24 minutes and you you know things we already put this in the resolution no audience and additionally we add three more vehicle replacement for next year every year we will replace some ban or trial for our operations side because
it's getting old and I'm really chewing face every time watch after you use some as a fun again this is covered time one-time funding and the sr2 is to the end now uh this year's expired expired to the end of this August September so we so far spend 87 percent so we make sure that we'll spend all of them it does early on we already have planned for each uh as a fund budget so we will spend as what we plan and as a tree we spend 43 and another S3 that is for academic recovery that's a 20 set aside that is spending 70 percent so those two sl3 will be in or expired um in 2024. so we'll make sure that results any question projects the chirp replacement and the track um repairs providing
high school and in the playground replacement uh 300 330 000 sorry that's really recommended to um providing Equitable playgrounds for all of our campuses so that that costs are not on the fact we want to make sure that that happens and that's just our first step or that actually helping other elementary schools are there and so I think you don't think the playground is an issue of equity but it is and this was something that was really important to ask you that I've always had them very completely thank you for this yeah we uh we set up a long-range project budget for five years everything's happening these five years have to raise about when we do the budgeting we don't forget about those fees so that's payground is one of them thanks that's his school
all around the area having financial problems having a layout features and stuff like that and uh obviously you've got us in a great position that we're able to do all this that is another reason why you've got the award that you did because thank you so you know things that you've done that we're getting able we're ready to do for the students in the community because he was amazing thank you so much uh again this is not a one person this can't do is really taking the whole village on the staff there uh work very hard every day their contribution is um impactful and I really appreciate and we have good team in the business office and also you know the cabinets and the leadership team and discipline families all all these people uh who's
the best and thanks for the presentation today I've got one for those questions several students they're excited as well um so I think that's going to be a great addition who's this weird um there's a lot of these schools Southern High School you know some reason yeah because we already have uh chill camera safeties uh officers in Sumner High School already and now we're adding additional to it and because of the new building we don't know what it looks like so that's why we get warm and then for monthly we also add additional to it is because we have more enrollment more kids in that the Middle School compare the bottom Middle School they are more uncrowded Sports so we see how that that goes uh additional cancer in the office to see how that
works best kids to be able to dance all right um this one is um I like read your hips um my question is have you been under consideration for major care for a pretty emergency mental simple uh this is for um correct yeah black and brown students right yeah that's good yeah pretty reducible um just will write a note for that any um yeah I just uh wanted to take a second to make a call in first of all I may want to stop appreciation month I wanted to thank our staff thank the water for people that were awarded for experiences and things they did uh High School training that they go through to do that um I'd like to point out that we have wonderful staff and they are very well equipped to not
only handle life-saving situations but they're equipped to handle accommodations yeah policies in place to address that make sure that those students are well taken care of in all areas of our buildings and I wish that we could actually focus on something of things in our passion things are happening more about the things scriptures things like that that actually happen during life and I'll close by saying that I think it's important for our community to recognize the difference between intense and impact um
