the the lesser of the two potentiality is there um so the three vendors gaining their seniority are maniacal me ziko life um which is just breit and his spice company and the last one is upperhand fish and that was not not in the correct order I think upper hand fish actually has the most seniority of those um or no Z anyway it doesn't matter it's all written down so when we do the process it will all be accurate this is what happens with uh we work 12 plus hours at a food truck rally the prior day to this meeting um so so yes so that will be happening uh and the Stalls that are available currently are stalls uh 1032 8384 and then 102 103 104 um and so that is the deal and of
course for those of you that know how the process goes those numbers are very much subject to change that's just how it begins but anytime anyone SW swaps out a stall um that changes and I know this is always an interesting question especially for new dailies getting their status because they're like well I want to say that I'm G to get stall 10 and it's like well there is no guarantees there will be a stall 10 by the time their turn comes in the move up um process so that is the deal that I have with that it should be pretty straightforward um we're definitely not having as many people in years past move up um but we are still very quickly turning over um you know compared to the past so like I'm I'm
aware of that because again these folks are all vendors that have started since I've been the market manager so that's how quickly um we are turning over now so it's you know probably within like a three to five year more on the three side um currently but that could be could be changing in the future um we did have a vendor who was going to relinquish their seniority um but they decided against that decision so we would have had more people um but that changed uh in the last month so that is a difference there uh but otherwise you know that's where we're setting and who knows what the future will hold for next year there may be more available still um but that's where we're at for right now so I don't know if
folks had any questions or comments about that process or anything like that all right well that's great so um but again if you're curious about the details it is very very specific in the pmac uh rules or the Public Market operating rules sorry wrong wrong acent um but but that's there and I did share those details as well with all the vendors over the last few weeks um what the process looks like and all that so great but yes that will be those new vendors though that's a huge thing for them yes yep and it's a big thing for anyone really if people want to change a stall people want to add an additional stall for annual vendors that are eligible that's also possible now um theoretically it's also possible for parking to become available
but you know those are few and far between uh when those come up so it's probably just going to be stalls this time around great that's sort of the biggest um operational thing going on for vendors um in my updates the next one is events and I did some foreshadowing of that is that we had our September food trk rally last night um it was our largest of this season I think it may be tied for the most of last year um which was 21 total which is a lot of those were food trucks um about and then the other five were popups or food carts so people that have smaller operations like the succulent is one example of that or right spice kitchen um and you know we did a lot a lot of
leg work to try and get the marketing out um uh lonea and I flyed I flyed at Washington Community College she flyed all over town in an arbor and on campus um we also included the announcement in a few um student list reses um we had a ton of social media marketing on it so we you know we tried to go our above and beond and it was well attended but not as well attended as we would have liked um just for that sheer number of trucks I think the downside of yesterday as well is it was very hot um you know it went from Beyond being nice weather to people do not want to be outside although so sort of our August weather um for returning for continuing um but again you know we
did everything that we could from a marketing standpoint but it's another lesson that we had sort of already learned last year um that it seems as if our right number is you know no more than like 16 to 18 is kind of our magic number um the other thing we had trouble with this time around is we had trouble securing music um part of that is we reached out to multiple people that were just not available there was other people that you know we did not have enough funds to entice them so it's a combination of the two but we reached out to multiple musical acts that were just not available and the other thing I should say about the food trck rally it's got to be a very specific type of music it's got
to be loud is the one thing uh whereas like we have plenty of really great jazz musicians that come play uh but it's not really the best venue for them because they do get drowned out by the generators so but unbalance we did have beautiful weather so that was great and we made just under $1,000 in revenue for the market um through just rent so that's the other upside of having a very big rally um but you know I'm not sure that it is the best option because you know it ends up us feeling badly that the trucks aren't doing as well as they could um although there were still people selling out there were still people with lines but some of the folks you know you could tell they they weren't doing as well
as as they had hoped but anyway I don't know if folks have any questions or comments about that item and then I'll tell you about other events great um the last thing I will say too about that is we did have one new vendor uh joining us which is schwarm MF from ipy so we are expanding our Cuisine representation um but and we also o did have four fully plant-based trucks and carts last night with many others offering plant-based options so we do have all of those bases covered and I did talk with veano Italiano um owner Rosie yesterday about maybe next year we could do one of the rallies be fully plant-based so only bringing um that and I know they've she had wanted to do something like that before um but we were
just like yeah we can't add other events but we thought maybe for next year that would be an interesting Twist on on stuff would be to just make a fully plant-based event great well in terms of other events um we had our September cooking demonstration last Wednesday during market and that was conducted by just jpr from zika and that was very successful um very well attended people really excited to taste the items he also basically made like a five course meal um so there was a lot of different things going on he showcased at least eight um farmer products of course with his spices um and it was just really wonderful and they expressed interest in maybe participating again for next year so um it was really great and it was going to be the
last of our series that we had another person who is interested so we decided to add an October cooking demo which will be October 9th and that will actually be a Tempe uh making demonstration led by a woman named py sulaman who is an immigrant from Indonesia so it will be a very very authentic uh Tempe making workshop and she has in the past done similar stuff at the library um similar demonstrations at an Republic schools and other places around town so we're really excited for that coming up um and the good news for that too is that um they found more money in the grant for from Michigan farmers market Association um so our full series is covered um by them for this year which includes everything from paying the participants a $150 honorarium
um allowing them to purchase up to $50 of produce and other items from Market vendors for that and then all of our sampling and you know everything else so that's pretty great so that's where we're at with those events um other events that are ongoing is we're right in the middle of our Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra partnership we've had two concerts so far Wednesday during Market there was the Reed Trio that came and gave a great concert um we also had the brass quintet from um the prior Wednesday and then this Saturday is going to be the string quartet so it is going to be exciting and we need to figure out where in the world we will fit everyone because it's going to be a very full Market um with move up you know
and encouraging other people to be there that may or may not be there normally um so that's fantastic we've also had a really lot of success this year um because the other part you may remember from last year or not is that we uh are able to give out free vouchers to our food assistance customers once they come to the office they swipe their card we say hey do you want this voucher it's good for up to four concerts any concert that the symphony is playing the entire season that they can go to um and if they want to go to one they can bring up to three people with them or if they want to go to four concert themselves they can do it people are really excited about it um we and I
think we still have some tickets left but we've given out a large portion what do you think Hannah you're you're closest to the pile so I think we've got about 20 left um okay yeah yeah it's just a lovely partnership with the Symphony they're really great to work with yes yeah it's been fantastic we hope that they continue doing this every year and it's not just us they are doing concerts at other farmers markets they've been doing concerts in Chelsea as well as Ipsy um so it's a really great uh thing and also yesterday uh we had the sister city delegation from tubigan uh Germany visiting the market we met the mayor and there was sort of a hilarious story there whereas Fiel thought that he was the mayor of Ann Arbor who she has
never met because they do look pretty similar they are both tall they look extremely similar they dress the same they somehow have the same mannerisms yes it's very yes it's a little bit Eerie yeah she realized when she said but you have a German accent and he said but of course um any anyway that was the tidbit that I heard yesterday but they really enjoyed themselves they were very excited to see the market I know a lot of them were plotting a way to come back on Saturday to shove it in their SK very very busy schedule to see if they could uh do some more shopping before um they they headed back so that was uh pretty great and they told us a lot about their City Market um right in their City square
and stuff like that so there was a lot going on and then of course yesterday we had an arbor open um had their annual field trip to Market so right around the exact same time the concert was happening and the delegation was there there was over 150 uh first and second graders getting snow cones from Carol and uh you know generally enjoying the market space so there was a lot going on yesterday both during the market and after the market and then I don't know if I have any other updates it's just we've been working with musicians as it comes beyond the symphony sometimes we have the two Stevens Jazz they've been coming a few times uh we're excited to announce that the library wants to continue the partnership from this year and you know
be more planned out for next year which was something we've been trying for for a while um so thanks for the leg work uh that Hannah put in on that thanks for the reference um from a regular customer that helped make that happen so it was a really great um partnership again and again they had such a good time they want to come back for more days and uh more stuff coming next year um and then the last thing I have in just in terms of just events uh we've been having a lot of really great Community groups coming this year we've been having OSI there um with their climate interns pretty much every Wednesday with a few exceptions um so that's been a great partnership the shelter Association of Washington County has been tabling
recently um Samaras was actually at the Food Truck Rally last night so we've been having a lot of good consistent community groups um veg Michigan also last week they were U promoting their 40-day plant-based challenge um and they were giving out um free samples of plant-based food made locally as well so we've been having a lot going on on the Wednesday markets and then a very consistently full uh Saturday market as well so I don't know if I'm forgetting anything Hanah in terms of events but I think that's a a good overview any questions or comments great it sounds like it's been a really busy busy end of summer that's really exciting a very vibrant environment yes it's been great and part of it we weren't sure um what the challenges in terms of space
reduction would hold due to the trailer um because the trailer office we've lost about 11 spots in The Sandlot area as a result um so we have had to get creative and bring back some of the sidewalk spots which will most definitely be in use this coming Saturday I think we're probably going to use every inch of space that we have I did a maap uh map draft due to anxieties about where we going to fit everyone um so so yes it's been very very busy in a good way all right so next item is just vendor updates um which is a great segue from what we were talking about in terms of busyness um so for most of the main season we have had a moratorium on bringing on more vendors simply because we
weren't sure what our space constraints would be we didn't want to overpromise and then not have enough space for regular vendors um but with that said we have had two applicants that we thought were very very strong um so we have brought them on one is a new peanut butter person that has been at Market um at least probably about a month now Mitten peanut butter company it's all handmade different types of peanut butters that they make um they've been very popular so far and they' have a lot of um experience at other farmers markets and now they're just joining us too and then the other one is Unity vibration kombucha wants to come back I know they were a vendor years ago long before I was here um but they are not going to
be selling their kombucha because they are considered beer so they're not actually a able to sell it at the farmers market but they're going to be selling their other um beverages which is a non-alcoholic line of um things like that and they will be restarting on Saturday um so look for them and that's really exciting for those who don't know them they are very well established uh business in Iolani um that has been in operation for a long time and again was a previous vendor so we figured you know that was kind of a no-brainer to bring them back on plus we don't currently have kombucha at Market um because Apple Blossom who is the one that we had before is based in Lancing and it's hard for her to get down here plus she
has a tap room and other markets up there um so that's another reason why both of these classes got on they were things that we did not have same thing with the peanut butter we had someone who was doing peanut butter last year that was at at Market pretty sporadically um but so we did have a need in terms of that too and yeah so so that's where we're at in terms of new vendors um but still we're getting inquiries we'll see uh we'll see if we bring any other folks on before next season the only one that's kind of a question mark right now that I need to look more in their application is somebody that actually sells um worm castings and worm products for Gardens and Farms wants to apply or has applied
and wants to join us but we'll see again if we have enough space but anyone right now we pretty much said you know getting in before November is going to be really difficult um and November 1st is sort of our unofficial time when things slow down slightly but not very much just to the point where we won't be completely overflowing and just full so but yeah let let me know if there's any questions or comments about um vendors in that regard cool um well maybe I'll just bring this up then because I know a lot of people people really wonder and I've had a vendor ask me this on Saturday as well um wondering you know why we don't have as many farms coming in why we don't have as many farms in the past
and as you all know as we've talked about before uh we just don't have those folks applying um we do give priority usually to farms and then anyone else that wants to come on you know they have to show like a really strong support for our local community in some way right we know that Unity vibration does Source some of their stuff locally we know that the vast majority of our prepared food people um do buy items at the market from our vendors um as the basis for their food so I just wanted to reiterate um that when we are assessing new applicants when we have space um the priority is always for farms and then it is also about if it's a prepared food if it's a value added item if this is item
that we don't have we is part of the equation if it's an item that this person is using the majority of their product um from local sources that's another uh thing and then the other thing is you know can they make a commitment to the market because we have a lot of people that say hey can I come once this month and try it out like no that that's not how it works like we have to have priority for people that um really can make a commitment to be with us on a regular basis uh and then the last thing too is that we need to have them show us a level of experience right because if it's somebody who's like oh I just started this business it's going to be great I want to
start at the market um no you know because we are so full and there's so many other markets so we refer them to other places and we say Hey you know once you build up if you're still interested come back and see us in the future um but we have so many people especially make Goods uh folks that are like oh I just started baking this one thing can I come to Market and yes no so um um again just to reiterate the folks that are bait Goods at our Market are folks that are incredibly exceptional in what they do and have an emphasis on local sourcing um so and same thing with Artisans you know we have very very limited space on Artisans so this has to be an incredibly amazing product that we
do not have represented yet that is within line with what we do you know local sourced ingredients something unique organic non-toxic if it's body care products stuff like that so just to reiterate I think it's important to address from time to time that we're not just letting everyone in that applies most certainly not we're very very restrictive in our uh application process and review and it does take us a long time um to make these decisions as well because we want to make sure we are um weighing all of the options but yeah so I don't know if anyone has any comments or questions on that otherwise we can move on yes Han or sorry Emma um I was just wondering so you had said there was sort of a moratorium but you let those
two and how many applications have come in during that time um well I will say there was the unfortunate mishap of us missing our mail for multiple weeks so I don't know if there was ones that were mailed during that time period I had a feeling there was maybe at least one cuz someone had left a message saying I was wondering about my application I was like I have no idea who this person is I've never seen this application um but uh I would say maybe 10 at least 10 to 15 Hannah say 20 so I would definitely between 10 and 20 yeah yeah it's a range you have to tell a lot of people know but yeah yeah yes yes we definitely tell way more people know then yes by far like it's not
even it's not even in the same sphere the upside with Artisans though um if it's a quality product we do refer them to the Sunday market um where with baked goods you know it's hard to refer a person with baked goods because again there's so many markets that are in the same boat as us and that there's so many bited Goods that want to participate um so that one's a little bit of a harder one whereas at least the Artisan Market we have alternatives for them and again if not the Artisan Market itself then there's you know kindlefest and and special events um like holy bones and stuff in Ipsy too that we can refer them to if we had to but yes it is a very high volume and definitely the most popular class
of applicants is Big Goods no doubt about it um probably followed by Artisans then value added than Farms so thank you yep any other questions or comments on that item before we move on all right everyone's favorite update facility and repairs um so this morning we had a meeting um me and park Ops folks and um Park planner Adam Hero at the market uh because we are hoping to see soon get an awning over the door of the market office trailer because due to condensation and Rain there is lots of Dripping happening onto people onto things onto signs um so we met with them to see sort of what that would look like to fix it and the original idea they had was a bunch of posts that would obstruct people's walking access so that
was uh sort of nixed and they're going to redesign but they do not need a buring uh building permit or anything like that because it's just going to be a small you know maybe two posts like this with the little awning sticking out and then it will be bolted sort of under um the trailer so that was a meeting we had and then it also turned into a meeting of prepping for demolition meaning making sure we know that we have to you know make sure the electrical grid is transferred to someplace else so that we don't have any ruptions during Market same thing with the water although when the demolition happens of course the water will be off for the winter um also talking about you know making sure that it is in the mix
moving portapotty moving the Pod all of the things that we're going to need to do um no later than December end of December um because the demolition will be beginning um for sure mid January um and then there's also other items too that were left behind behind by the janitorial staff um and then the other option too is we spoke about if there were any items that were not going to be salvaged by the city whether or not um vendors could have the option to have access to these things if they need them this could be anything from like bathroom sinks to Old photographs that are up inside the building right because everything else has been moved out we're really talking about the last bits um or like the vents in the bath you know
like things like this would probably be thrown away um unless but we did want people to have the opportunity to salvage if they want to um but yes but we have just started the conversation of coordinating all of those items with that said um repairs and other broader conversational things have somewhat been on hold until we can um have a better sense of this Market planning process right in terms of the steering committee in terms of the visioning um but again if it's an emergency obviously we're fixing something right if I don't know if something is falling on someone it will be fixed but it's you know but if it's like crumbling concrete that's probably going to have to wait because unfortunately you know that's happening in so many places um and that will be
part of the the overhauling um but in terms of the demolition the other update I did receive is is when it will be um demolished they did plan on removing the sidewalk from that area and I know Adam talked about this this in his presentation um but just to give more updates they're going to put asphalt down they're going to put some concrete down so that we can reclaim that space as we figure out what's going to replace it we can use it for stalls we could potentially use it for prepared food if we wanted to musicians like we can do a lot of things with it um but that is part of that um I did ask them about the trees behind the office building a few of those may have to come out
um as part of the demolition but unfortunately some of them are struggling uh with health anyways um so that is potentially coming to and they did say as well when the demolition is happening that entire area is going to be cordoned off they're probably going to take the benches out for safekeeping as the demolition happens and just um fence off that whole area so it can't be um accessible and people can't injure themselves in there but then once it is laid down um we should be able to use it again and with that we may have to move the shed it was still somewhat unclear um about you know where that would go or if we had to actually move it um and then unfortunately because of the demo we will be losing some vendor
parking spots um temporarily so and it's unfortunately all the people with assigned spots um but we will just reassign those spots to the other side of the sand lot and other places in the market which should be okay because this is going to be winter um so it should be no problem at all um bringing folks to the other location um because they have a deadline of the last week of April because they are on contract to be done before Wednesday Market starts in May so that's at least what I was told today uh so that's the the most recent update that I have about that project the other um element I will say is that Adam is going on paternity leave in less than two weeks um so we will have somewhat of a
delay in um the visioning process uh because we need to kind of wait till he gets back to to start that up so any comments questions concerns how long will Adam's leave be he gets three months okay great yeah anyone else well I will say to you I know we had talked about sort of the bird netting I don't know what the status is I have heard nothing at all um about it since we inquired um with Park Ops but I would assume again it all has to do with the holding pattern of everything waiting for the visioning process so apologies on that I know we were hoping that we're were going to get really close this year um but it has not come to pass as of yet and the same thing that is
why there is still a hole in the concrete over behind the Pod area um because they don't want to touch it because that area is going to be in the demolition footprint anyway um so as unfortunate as that is um that's why that has not been filled in either if folks were wondering all right any last things on that great okay so moving right along with our construction updates um so we continue to have a few issues of diff difficulty excuse me working with the folks um constructing the 3:30 Detroit Street development um on Wednesday again there was some job site people parked in parking spaces uh on Detroit Street I tried to talk to them I said hey you know I thought you could park under the building what happened to that and they
said oh our vans are too tall so it has not been fully fixed but of course it is better than it was but that is still something that is happening um and we've had a few issues where the noise has been incredibly loud without any warning uh on a Wednesday market and there was a Wednesday Market um what what was the exact date on that Hanna do you remember was that the end of August the food demo incident or the when that day well I guess it was when Mary's demo was happening or it's that same day August um so like the beginning of August mid beginning to middle of August 14 yeah so August 14th was a really bad day I was not personally there um because I was Ill but uh that day
was so loud that no one could hear anything all the way down at tantre stall on Fourth Avenue um so it was really bad uh and we did have to talk to them and trying to get them to be better at communication um but that you know has not really happened yet but the good news is they say soon they will be buttoned up and working on the inside almost exclusively um so so hooray I guess hopefully that will happen soon um in terms of the other side the 121 Katherine project um they have been wonderful to work with in comparison they're really easy to get questions from you can talk to them if there's issue but they have a continual problem of blocking the street um this happened even yesterday where a massive DTE
vehicle with the trailer um was just just parked right across from the market trailer uh on Fourth it was actually blocking in Market customers in their parking spots uh and there was one customer that was actually trying to leave uh as that was still parked there um so that's been an ongoing issue was it was causing traffic in all directions um and you know as I mentioned before there was one day where they had what like eight dump trucks parked up and down forth um for blocks in either direction so it's been a big headache um and it makes us a little bit wary about um when the Brun Court project goes and that's the other thing to be aware is that there's probably going to be four construction projects happening concurrently one of them
being ours um when the demolition project moves forward um maybe we'll get lucky and that they will be delayed on the Bron court and that won't get started for a long later and that maybe we can get at least one completed um but knowing our luck we'll see how that goes so just be aware that this is something that's going to be happening and I know we already have incredible headaches as is um with parking pressures and people perceiving that they can't get to the market and you know this that and the other thing but um it it it you know it's going to get worse before it gets better and we just need to you know try to do our best to persevere uh as difficult as it is but again the thing that
is great is the 121 Katherine Street is desperately needed affordable and Supportive Housing and that the parking spots that we lost in that parking lot many of which will be replaced in the underground parking that they are putting in so that is a a great concession to think about um in in the long term as we navigate these short-term uh frustrations and yeah they're also loud too the drilling um especially but I think that is all oh yeah sorry go ahead yeah how long does the um City think the demolition Project's going to take for the the market building they say it should be short but their window that they have is mid January to the end of April they're not allowed to do construction prior or after that in terms of the demolition but
it should be quick as far as I know once it actually begins I don't know if this is what you're asking Lisa but I think it's like 10 to 14 days um is hopefully the contractor will realize that they don't want to be negotiating all those trucks moving in and out to um with all the other construction projects well the other thing too is it's the same um contractor that's working on multiple City Pro projects so they have sort of a schedule right there's like the 720 1 um North Maine is sort of their main staging location so the upside for us is that they're only closing off a portion of the lot because they're staging most of their stuff over at that other site on Main Street um and if it if that were
a different case we would be losing a lot more access than we are but that probably will be complicated um moving stuff from that one location to the market and back but they did say prior that 10 to 15 days once the demolition but you know I've seen the movie The Money Pit I'm not g I'm not going to say two weeks is the actual time frame so but they do have that window of mid January to end April any other things on that so it's going to be a hard hard slog but we're getting there and uh town did have a meeting with O'Neal construction about the 121 site um last week but we couldn't make it because it was during our cooking demo um and everything like that so let me see if
there was anything else that update that they provided um let's see give me one second all right I thought I had it more accessible in my all right oh so and this is also something now that I'm talking about ter Car Town I realized I forgot so um in terms of events although it's an event that we don't host but kindlefest is going ahead this year um and it will be the first Friday in December at the market and they are also going to do their satellite location again at Liberty Plaza so and I know Jeb you participated in that last year and some of our other Artisans did as well as well as other regular vendors unless you heard otherwise maybe we should confirm that the Liberty Plaza is happening because I hearing now
so really well it is part of their application app location okay hey there you go yeah well who knows remains to be SE well I'm sorry that I said something if it's it's not confirmed I always say sign up for both and get one right that's true but I know there were vendors asking me you know which one should I apply for which location um but we'll see yeah great um okay so what they said in the update about the 121 Katherine they said and this is me reading from their notes on updates they gave to the Cary Town District Association members the construction site will keep a similar footprint through late 2025 by late October mid November they should be working at grade on the site and then starting to work to build up
um they are hoping to complete the top of the building in March um and they have been encouraging their job site folks to park in the ant Ashley lot so who knows perhaps by the time well maybe our demolition will be done before they're done or after they're done or maybe we'll all be concurrent but that is the the most recent update I have from O'Neal through the mouth of K Town District Association all right and that is all I have for General updates so I don't know if any people have any specific questions or comments and I guess that was also folded in to the renovation demolition update which I did not do on purpose but that's what happened oh goodness any other questions comments about any of those those things because I clearly
jumped ahead without meaning to all right great one comment too thank for the document that you sent along with the the little history of update that was super super helpful um and wonderful in context so great that's a really good basis for kind of going forward and giving some memory and some context to kind of the last 43 years of trying to get vation going it's it's been a long and complicated path so yes and I should mention lunia was not able to be here today but if anyone has any specific questions um you can definitely reach out to her directly if you would like or we can talk about it here or both he found out so much and did a really great job summarizing everything yes she is amazing yes super awesome she
went through so many files so many files and digitized everything so yes it was a Herculean effort and it was well done as well great yeah thanks for that and thanks for reminding me to mention if you have questions for her she would be happy to speak with you about it all right um so and this is this is you Jeb you asked for this agenda item to be put on for the next meeting scheduling or the inperson meetings that is so you have the floor oh well thank you yeah no I I think we were just trying to find the date for the next inperson years coming to an end quickly here so um I'm not sure but looks like that would be October November December and December makes people squeamish especially because it's
late later in the month close to the holiday so right October and November does anybody have any thoughts so my only constraint is I know I'm away for the October but I'll be here for the November so but that doesn't need to be one way or another but just that's what I have yep so the next one would be what October 17th would be our next meeting believe so and then November 21st yeah which would be you know not not Thanksgiving week week before that the week before um the only thing for me is that um in person is is kind of a lot after a whole day of Food Truck Rally the next day or the previous day but you know it's up to you all when you want to um when you want
to schedule that in person when's the next Food Truck Rally it is October 16th the day right before because it's third Wednesdays and then we're third Thursdays I I don't want to speak for Jeff I know I'd spoken with Jeff earlier about it we were thinking November would probably be better for okay most because this is out of the worst not the worst but the best of the growing season perhaps right but yeah especially the way that this weather has been going I think October 17th is going to be a big scramble getting stuff out of the field for sure so then let's plan on November that seems November 21st then okay all right it's November 21st all right well I will let the clerk know and usually like I have no idea what space
is available and they just say this is what's available and that's why we've been getting the basement um and I just did want to remind folks that they don't have the hybrid capabilities there so when we do the inperson folks that want to be remote cannot be other than you know maybe listening on CTN or something like that um but just FYI but they are recorded they can watch the true they can't simultaneously be there yeah right but they can't participate in public comment in the same way yep yeah great Stephanie I know Adam will be on M paternity leave but could Remy come and give us an update too it was really nice to have him there and when we were in person the last time yeah I mean we can ask him I
don't know if there's anything really different that's going to be happening by then um because again all we really need to do is get everything out of the building and wait for demolition um but I will definitely ask him if he's available any Reflections on all the information lunia put together things like that thinking just thinking about uh the community engagement as the next step on the project after the demolition all right I will ask him about that actually that followup too is to kind of it's like how do how do we leverage and it's really great information and there's a lot of like we kind of it seems you just read it it's like we're going to kind of do the same thing again and we'll do the same it's like well can we
can we are we using that or can we leverage that yes because there's a lot of it there it's amazing it's a really it's a beautiful archive so yes it's definitely been shared with Adam um to inform his planning process and give context to the market in that way so it's it won't just sit there and it has so far if that's helpful yes very yes and does it have a permanent digital home so in other words well so lunia scanned all those documents she's created this document um I know a lot of that was just sitting in paper files in the office so now does this have a digital home where it can be there for parks and other Market managers and things like that sure yeah sorry organized all of our files as
well like all of our digital files so like everything is findable and ordered and when she archived there's a very specific she could be a librarian it's all very organized and accessible for the future um I thought you meant like is it on our way website for I don't think that it has a public access at this point but there is a digital home in the files that is readable and findable uh very easily okay I just wanted to mention that the library's been the other place that that keeps a lot of the history of the Anarbor Farmers Market too if you want an external home for that documentation to in term L digital a lot of the stuff that the Library had already done like we have a market history link on our own
website that links to a lot of that and we also have a link that I need to update but it has a lot of like the articles that have been written about the market too that's also linked to our website so we have records of all of these things and I think some of them were already digitized but it's more of like the very very old things that she found that were not available yet that she did include and add to our records but no we have very extensive files on everything that's all fine I'm more asking about the sustainability of the files if the market computer falls apart or you know things like that just just thinking about digital sustainability it's all in the park server so okay F none of our files exist
outside of the parks City system no although we do have a desktop because we wanted to have a potential for backup and not have the obses issue um that laptops are more prone to so now we are very dialed in I mean we have an the entire it Department uh at our becking call if needed in the city so no we are completely completely covered all right let us move on is there any um new business or I guess that was for you to say Peter I'm sorry go ahead no no problem no problem yes item age any new business do business seeing none all right item J second public commentary all right is there anyone who would like to provide a public comment if so it's star n raise electronically raise your hand we'll
give folks a number okay I am seeing someone who would like to speak all right go ahead state your name after you unmute hi can you hear me yes now I can wonderful another reason why to Great reason to have inperson meetings um because I watch it on the computer and then as it nears the end I have to call on the phone because you're like three minutes ahead of what it is on the computer so it's very confusing but anyway I'm glad I got through thank you for scheduling the next inperson meeting it is really important one quick thing um when we're watching the meeting on the computer I hear everyone very clearly except Peter Wolf I don't know what's going on I can't hear him it's like your your volume is so low
you we can't out here in the computer world we can't hear you now when I go on the phone and I listen to the meeting I can hear him perfectly fine so I don't know what is is going on there but anyway I just want to thank thank everybody for being there again we appreciate you we are listening out here and we do Care thank you all very much for your time I appreciate it and we'll see you at the market Debbie marks by the way Debbie marks thanks Debbie thank you D you're welcome guys thank you is there anyone else that would like to participate in public comment I know we have le one more person listening in and we'll give them a moment just in case I am not seeing anyone that wants
