We are already live. Okay, that was the spring. Yeah, hey, listen. It's like time just runs together for me anymore. I don't know what the hell day it is. I know. Just like what? What? Oh, we're late. I expected the president to yell at us. Let's go. What are we doing? Jeez. Look at you trying to place the blame on us. There's many tech guys. There are people up here. Okay. Thanks, Linda. Are we live? It's fine. It's fine. CJ, you didn't sign up to speak, did you? No. Okay. All right, let's go ahead and call to order this regular meeting for the Kinn City School of Education Board of Education at 6 p.m. on June 15th. Mr. Hensel. Mr. Ludley. Yes. And Mr. Steyer. Yes. Pledge of allegiance. Pledge of allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Okay, item number three is approval and or correction of the minutes of the regular meeting from May 18th. Steyer. Mr. Ludley. Yes. Mr. Steyer. Yes. Mr. Hensel. We had anything for items four or five, right? Nope. So that would bring us to reports of the treasurer. Item six. I really have nothing to report at this time. I did just forget about item five. Oh, sorry. That's my fault. I didn't see that. Item five is the action on Mrs. Miller's retiree hire at the regular Board of Education meeting on July 13th at 6 p.m. And then I didn't have anything, just trying to get things closed down for this year and
back up for the next year. Thanks, Jill. Hensel. Thanks, Rodney. Steyer. Thanks, Mike. Mr. Ludley. Yes. Stick with the email. Sounds good. Thanks, Chad. Item number eight, committee reports. We had parks and rec the other night, but there wasn't really anything involving school that we can talk about, so we're good. The co-curricular meeting our committee met a little while back. So I'll just briefly touch on a few things here real quick. From the band program. Just a few items here that I just wanted to touch on real quick. Tiffany Kalb, a senior flute member, has been accepted into the music program at the Capitol University Conservatory of Music. And then just a couple of other things here real quick. They had a Mason Reffner trumpet player also was in the OSU marching band clinic. And
then Cameron Fox saxophonist was in the BGSU Jazz Clinic. Moving on to the choral side. Just give me a few minutes. I'll pull this up and just touch on a few of these points. In the choral program, the middle school solo and ensemble had the opportunity to record in the studio for like a professional recording experience. So that's pretty neat. They also shared that the honors choir is coming next year. And then also the OSU men's and women's glee club concert went very well. Top 20. Let's see here. I believe the top 20 is going to be singing the national anthem at the Guardians baseball game coming up on Wednesday, August 19th. And they hope to do the cabs next year. Dimensions. The showcase was a big success. And I'm just proud of how they
ended up with the year. They've got 53 kids right now at least auditioning right now. Four dimensions? That's what it's, yeah. And that's really probably about it with that. I mean, I think they're going to be offering a new stagecraft class next year, which will help students learn how to operate in the PAC. Lights, sound rigging, building sets, etc. So I think that's a pretty nice job. Who will teach that? Mr. Dequino. I'm sure he'll have some help. And then I'll just touch on a couple of the sports items here that Brad shared out. So the spring recap, the high school participants was 105. And then the second half of the year, the first half of the year, the second half of the year, the third half of the year, the fourth half of the
year. The first half was 105. In middle school, the participants was 30 for track and field. The middle school club baseball was 23. Middle school club softball was 29. Some of the highlights. The boys finished sixth overall. And they were tied for third in the regular season, which was their highest finish since 2017. We hosted the Western Buckeye League track need, and that also went very well. I think they did a very good job running that. And then just a couple of the quick highlights here real quick from the state track need. Quinn Spearman was the district champion in the 800 meter at the district meet. In the state meet, Addie Manns was fifth in the 3200 meter race. And she set a new personal best time of 1059. Quinn Spearman also finished in the
top ten at the state meet in the 800. And then Gavin Seale Scott took fifth in the 100 meter dash also at the state meet. And the state championships were held at the Jesse Owens Track and Field Complex in Columbus, Ohio. So yeah, a lot of things to be proud of. I think the kids did really perform really well in the state track meet, and they had a lot of success in that. So that's all I had on that. Thank you. Moving on to there was no old business. No, nothing to do on that. New business, authorizations and resolutions. Item 10A is to approve the 2627 eLumina contract for speech therapy service.
