Thank you. I'm so excited to be here. I'm so excited to be here. I'm so excited to be here. Special areas here, I hope you have done a lot of great things. Our Agents department, they run a program over the summer and throughout the school year called HEARP. It's a reading program. And throughout the school year, one week a year, they encourage students to read X amount of minutes every day. They turn it in and... For a month, they can capitalize if they get correct in the final years. For almost one fire truck, it comes to take some out once a month. Every one student per grade level, and it's fixed for each month. It picked up at school on a firetruck. We drove out of our house to pick them up right to the
summer end. So if you're ever here in the area on the first Monday of the month, which is today, a firetruck is here, picked up the teacher, drove her out of the store, and just picked up a can of foam, because of the rain was starting. There are outcasts, my daughter and the family, and that's when a lot of people are going to be explaining to the kids what's going on in the second floor. That's where it's at. I've lived in art. Mrs. Marissa has started off with another fantastic year with some great artwork. And I've heard some of her great pieces about the arts. And some of them are valuable as well. One of the things that I see from the fantastic job, I think, is the rose. In physical education, my style for
me is to speak the air. We recently applied for the high school year for a minor grant through the Mount Flint University House. If you go to the low line, the PE teachers will receive $2,500 worth of athletic equipment for the school to use. And there were probably 50 school partners in Rochester and Buffalo. We are grateful for Mount Flint University for providing us opportunity to... and improved drive and experience of life here on the university. And we were one of the nine schoolers who received our online grant. So we got $2,500 over our $100 class equipment and we're going to actually get it tomorrow. How long do you think we'll bring them? They're not for school year and we don't have classes. So this is super exciting. So next week actually. In the gym,
we were creating some Halloween fun at the house. Lots of people stopped in and saw all the fun that we have. And all the pictures are at the break. Of course, we turn the lights off. We have lights on. And that's when we saw the kids. And that's one of their most favorite things. And we always get back. I was a senior. What was your least? I was 96-odd. And a lot of them came in school. A lot of them still go to the Halloween house that we have here at school. So that's a great memory for everybody. Myself, Mrs. Sherroth, and Mrs. D'Amino, we worked on for the past nine years. It's now a show here at Hogan. Along with students and a dedicated group of teachers who work with students at Puppies Class
to go. We worked in the first and second grade all through the years to make their own apps. And we take a lot of our busy days in the morning on into the morning to learn a scrapbook. Here is a small video of a scrapbook that we did last year. We just got done. We just got done. I'm saying I'm sorry. I'm sorry. And then lastly, Mrs. Hamrock works along with an entire third grade of 530 students two times a week to develop their musical skills needed to teach and prepare the students. So they have a little concert in January, and then she'll also provide a time for the third graders to come up before they go on the octagon. So here's a little clip of what they've been practicing before us. Here it is.
Thank you so much for listening. There was a couple of crazy fourth graders the other day that went off pretty well. So pretty exciting stuff all around. So it's a fun time of year for all superintendents in this area. I want to thank you guys for still having fun.
