The board has been furnished with background material on each item or has discussed the item at a previous meeting. Consent agenda items will be acted upon with one vote without discussion. If a board member wishes to discuss any item, it will be pulled from the consent agenda and voted on separately. For our consent agenda tonight, we have uh several documents from our CSFO, Miss Langley, as far as the year end. Uh but also the uh check check register for September and October as well as the financial report for October. Uh also, you heard a presentation during the work session from Dr. Conincaid about our transition to
curriculum associates I Ready for the formative assessments. Also, we have the ACT test funding that for all 10th graders in the spring of 2026. And then we have two items uh one from technology, one from transportation that is a declaration of surplus. For the benefit of the
audience, the personnel report tonight consists of the following. under retirement or resignation. Dedra Brewer as library media specialist. That's a shared position between Highland Park and Webster. That will be effective tomorrow. That will be her last day. She starts at her new job at UNA after the Thanksgiving break and we wish her the best. Also, Sherry Perkins, drafting design teacher at Muscle Shows Career Academy, effective January 1st. under employment. Sydney Pearson, elementary teacher. Uh, Highland Park. That'll be effective January the 2nd. And then Anna Reading, elementary teacher, that's at Webster, also effective January the 2nd. Under transfer or reassignment, Katie Chandler from teacher at Webster to math coach. That is a split position between Highland Park at Webster. That'll be effective January the 2nd. And Rachel Goens from elementary teacher to library media specialist. That's
a split position between Highland Park and Webster. And that will be effective January 2nd. Under other part-time supplemental or special assignment contracts, Ansley Barnes, that's an extended day program college age systemwide. Morgan Intricen as a mentor for one of the new teachers. That'll be a halfyear supplement to be a mentor. Also for track assistant coaches, these will all be paid from track funds. Sarah Freeman, Nick South, and Zachary Simbeck pending background clearance. Also, Kelly Lane, uh, a teacher will be granted unpaid leave, and you see the date and the and the circumstances there. We will be approving that. Also, for our coaches, and I'll say this, our our football team has had an excellent season this year. they continue uh and hopefully that'll continue even beyond tomorrow night, but uh they are having an extended
season obviously hopefully it'll go all the way to the end. But I I've recommended tonight and with the support of the athletic director and high school principal to give them an additional supplement for extended season play. This will be paid for by football funds. And of course, that will go to Scott Bon, Michael Darden, Steven Lawler, and a host of assistant coaches that work with our varsity team. Also, Logan Pard, volunteer baseball coach. That's a temporary part-time no benefits volunteer capacity. Tiffany Stones Cipher, an additional $1,500 robotics supplement that's funded from a TVA robotics grant that that we received. And so, she'll be getting those additional funds. Also Tim Underwood and Tony Word uh continuing to work with our basketball radio announce team advertising uh and so forth, color commentary, and that'll be paid from
those advertising funds for the radio program. And then Sarah May Young as a custodial sub um and that'll be at the high school. That'll be her assignment. And then for information only, not for board action, um we had a correction. There was a a contract day omitted on a on a previous personnel report. Just wanted to kind of clean that up on Hannah Clement. You see that there. Uh also under Kelly services staffing, Lynn Martin will serve as the library aid at Highland Park in Webster beginning December 1st with the with Dedra leaving us. Got a little short there shortage there until we can find uh fill those positions. And then we've got some leave requests there, medical leave requests there that you see in your packet. All right, Mr. President. Next is Roman numeral
three. Uh we discussed this during the work session, the resolution for the board to engage with uh Frasier Laneir and the bond attorney that's in the resolution there uh for a series 2026 warrant. Again, just you know, just for benefit of the audience, this does not lock us into anything, but it just allows us to go out and explore the bond market after the first of the year for capital projects. And I recommend >> All right, board. We have a proposed resolution from the superintendent. Do we have a motion to approve that resolution? >> Motion approve. >> Thank you, Mr. Wood. We have a motion. Do we have a second? >> Second. Thank you, Dr. Stoddard. Uh motion in a second. Is there any discussion? Okay, hearing none. Call to vote. All in favor say
I. >> Any opposed? All right, Dr. Holden. The motion to approve that resolution carries. >> All right, just a brief superintendence report. Just want to thank everybody again for coming out. See those ambassadors back there. Glad to see y'all here tonight. Appreciate the mayor being with us during the work session. I know he had to leave, but um just had a had an event over earlier today, the mayor's lunchon, and uh we're able to go over there and support him and the other new mayors. You know, the shows area has four new mayors and so uh being able to see them up and answer questions from a room packed room really about probably about 300 people I would say were there. So, it was really good. But just want to wish the Trojans luck tomorrow
night as they travel to Mountain Brook in the next round of the playoffs. Hopefully they'll they'll be successful and we'll keep marching toward a state championship. And outside of that, I'll just say I hope everybody has a happy Thanksgiving. >> Yes, absolutely. Well, thank you, Dr. Holden. This uh does conclude the agenda for our meeting. Uh is there any further discussion? >> All right, then this meeting is adjourned.
