Notices for the meeting were properly posted and provided to those who requested direct notification. Uh let the record reflect that all board members are present except for Miss Fucha. We'll have a prayer by Mr. Chris followed by the pledge by Mr. Young. >> Bow with me. Heavenly Father, we come before you tonight. Beg forgiveness of our sins. Lord, we ask that you guide us through this meeting. Be with our students. Be with our staff through this Christmas time. And it's in your holy name we pray. Amen. Amen. Icegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> We have an agenda before us. Do I have a motion to approve the agenda? >> You do.

Second. All right. And uh Miss Hubard, the floor is yours. >> Oh, I'm sorry. We got a vote on it, don't we? I told y'all I'd mess up right off the bat. So, all in favor? >> I passes unanimously. >> Now, Miss Hubard has the floor. >> Okay, we're going to look at October. There's not a lot that goes on in October because we're clo everybody's closing out fiscal years in the state and um so revenue is not really coming in that much. So if you look at local revenue, we only got $1.3 million which is only 4% and that's why that happens every year. You'll see it re it'll pick back up in November. And if you look at expenses, they're at 8.9 and we're 8.3 of the way through. So I'm going to

tell you why it's at 8.9. That's because October 1, we have to pay our property building insurance and that's a big that's a big check. So that that's what skews the expenses out in the month of October. So 3 months we had 2.83 months of fund balance with one month being 13.1 million, but we'll start we'll see that slowly start to increase. And we did go ahead and move the 500,000 over to the capital projects fund just like we have budgeted every month. And if you look Oh, I was going to tell y'all about our money market interest. Let me get to that page. We got $292,000 of money market interest. So that's kind of what brought our revenue up because it is it's very lean with property tax and sales tax in the month

of October. It just it doesn't come in. It never has. Okay. So, if you look at our fund balance, it's kind of like it was year before last, just because of that revenue. And when you have high dollar expenses that have to come out in October, it drops a little bit, but it'll it'll start climbing back up when we get to November. Y'all have any questions? >> Go ahead. >> What was one month's fund balance for 2025? >> It was 12 a little over 12 million. it was because three months was about between 36 and 37 million. So we would have been at three months with our own fund balance, but when it increases, which Alabama Connections, remember, drives that up. So that that's why we're dropped a little below. But if we were sitting

at if we were looking at 25, we would have we would have our three months. >> Is it a full million difference? >> I can't tell you exactly. I've looked at I've looked at so many numbers. I can I'll email it to you and look. and my iPad. >> I think it's probably [cough] bring that with me. >> Okay. >> It would probably be that's 13.172. It was a little over 12 and some change. So, it probably is not a whole 1 million, but it would be close. >> There any other questions? Okay. >> Yeah. About 900,000. >> All right. Do I have a motion for the consent agenda item number six? >> Roll off. >> Mr. Young offers. >> I'll second. >> Mr. Herod seconds. All in favor? >> No. >> Okay. [laughter] Uh

item number seven, discussion approval of personnel actions. Do I have a motion? >> I offer. >> Mr. Christo offers. >> No second. >> Mr. Young seconds. All in favor? >> I need to abstain from 7J1. >> Okay. Any other discussion? I should have asked that. 7J1. All in favor? I unanimous. And item number eight, discussion and approval of correction to 202526 elementary arts education textbook adoption curriculum committee list. Do I have a motion? >> I'll offer. >> Mr. Harriet offers have a second. >> I'll second. >> Take your pick. [laughter] >> Dr. Maple seconds. All in favor? It's unanimous. And item number nine, adjournment. >> I'll offer. >> I'll second. >> All in favor? Yes. All right. Boy, that was quick.
