001Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> I don't think we had anybody sign up topic. I think we'll finish the month about 1.2 bit from last year. >> So, we're about where we were last year. >> No, we're up from last year. >> How much? That's federal funds. >> Federal you don't get till you spend it. That's just all district money. Um because federal >> Okay. So that's excluding federal funds. >> Well, it may have some federal reimbursements in there, but that's district money and activity money. >> So we'll make a motion to approve consent agenda in the financial move. >> Second. >> Motion by Mr. Ty. Second. Move. Mr. Adav
002say I >> oppos 5. Can >> we go into executive for personnel? >> Yes. We want to take the session for personal issues 634. Okay. Our secondary principles are out at the state tennis tournament. Actually, I think Trent, where did Trent go today? >> He was taking a student to a college. >> Okay. He was doing a college this year. So, we'll have the elementary uh principal report. And what Tammy is going to do is break down the data on the school report card for you and go into a little more depth on exactly how we scored. >> Um, I'll start with just our principal report. Our current enrollment is at 330. And then at the bottom, we had quite a lot uh going on in October. On the 10th, kindergarten took a field trip
003to the pumpkin patch. The 14th through the 17th, we celebrated homecoming week. On the 17th, we had the pep rally at 9:00 um and early dismissal at 1:15. Also on the 17th after the pep rally elementary stuck around in seventh grade as well for us to do our Atlas testing prizes, we had nine students who received gift cards for the most growth. We did three per grade level. uh which is our current fifth, sixth, and seventh grade students from when they were in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. And then we had 65 students who earned water balloons to throw at myself and Miss Crystal for showing overall growth. And they were not kind about throwing nose either, by the way. [laughter] They were going for blood. On the 17th, um, our chocolate fundraiser ended, report
004cards went home, and Boy Scouts came and met with our students during lunches, and then on the 21st tonight, uh, the Boy Scout people showed up again and had a parent meeting at the elementary for anyone interested in signing their kids up for Boy Scouts. On the 22nd, 2 grade is going to have a field trip to Plum Bayou. Is it bayou? Bio >> Hank Williams, Senior Bio. bio bio. On the 22nd, uh we'll have our flute clinic. On the 24th, the awards assemblies, um and the times are listed there. On the 30th, our first graders are taking a field trip to Cochril's Critters. Critters and then on the 31st uh we'll have our fall parties and our snack day. >> They're going to buy a mound, right? >> Yes. >> Previous tech mtech. Yes.
005>> Okay. They love that field trip. They go every year, so they learn a lot from the um breaking down the elementary school um letter grade. I tried to keep this kind of short, but I wanted to tell you this has always been really confusing to me. I think this is the first year um that they've changed the way we get our letter grade and it's so much easier to understand. So, I tried just to include a few slides to kind of show you guys how they come up with the letter grade. Like I said, it's always been so complicated and hard to understand, and I kind of really get it this year. And I think it's because they've they've made it a little easier. So, on elementary, the letter grades broken down into three
006sections. So, a third, a third, and a third. So a third of it comes from our achievement and those are students scoring a level three and a level four. So our highest achieving students. So we get 100 points in English language arts, 100 points in math and 100 points in science. So for a total of 300 points, a third of our letter grade just comes from students who earn a level three and a level four. A third of our letter grade comes from the growth of all students. Again, looking at English language arts and these are um English language learner kids, math and science. So again, 100 points, 100 points, and 100 points. The growth of these students, they go back three years. So they'll look at what a student scores in third grade, fourth
007grade, and fifth grade. and then they'll say, "Okay, this is what I think they should score in sixth grade." If they meet what the state sets as what they think they should meet, then we get a point for that growth. So that's a third of our letter grade. And then the [music] last third of our letter grade comes from the growth of our lowest 25%. So we're almost getting double points for that lowest 25%. We get credit for them up here in growth and then we get credit for them if they grow and they're in our lowest 25%. So they take the lowest 25% of our kids and they say, "Okay, did they meet growth?" If they did, we get another point for them. So that's how the elementary scores made up 300, 300, and
008300 for a total of 900 points. Any questions on that? So looking at EES, I tried to make a chart that was a little bit easier to see. You're going to see those three sections again, achievement, growth, and growth of the lowest 25%. This is the state median, what the state earned in those categories overall across all the schools. And then this is EES. So you can see the breakdown under achievement, those level three and level four kids, those top kids, we earned 84 points. The state average was5. Now is that good? No, absolutely not. We know that this is definitely an area that we need to look at. How are we taking those level three and four kids and how are we pushing them beyond what they're doing right now. So we we know
009we need to work on that. But we had 84 points on overall growth. We had 144 points. The state had 149. So we're close to state average there. And then growth of our bottom 25%. We had 168.96 and the state had 155. So we were above there. So if I said, you know, people talk about grows and glows. A grow is we need to work on this. the three and four students a grow a glow for us was growth of the bottom 25%. So we know that we're taking those lower level kids and we're pushing them and we do that through RTI in our building pulling those small groups um some of the programming that we use our federal money for. So this was a good thing for us. So ES total was 397. The
010state was 410. >> So if we did meet find ourselves meeting 410, like whatever the state median is that year, would we see probably some growth as like a going from a C to a B type thing? >> No, because the state overall was a C. >> And so that's on this chart. There was some little things up here that I covered up if you're seeing that, but that didn't matter to what we were talking about. But EES total was a 397.93. So we fell right in the middle of this C category. The state was a 410 and they're right in the middle of that C category. So overall, the state was a C and we were a C. So this just shows the A, B, C, D, and F. And if you look at
011this, I couldn't find it, but there's another chart. Um, I don't know from school, y'all remember that bell curve where it's like an A, a B, a C, a D, an F? They set these scores based on that bell curve. They're going to make sure that the majority are in the C because you're supposed to have more C which is average and then they're going to come down to the B and then you have fewer A's. And so these are set uh very clearly when you see that other graph on the bell curve. >> Now these numbers that that we've got currently is that from >> last year's test? >> Yeah. at the end of the year. >> Yes, sir. We got those scores back, I believe, two weeks ago. Something like that. >> Two
012weeks ago. So, that's what these scores are. So, that's our current letter grade is a C. >> Do you find you you talk like that that this is a a lot more useful in in pinpointing things? >> It is. >> Than previously. >> Yes, sir. Previously, they had some kind of formula that I'm telling you, I have never been able to understand the the formula. We have gone to the co-op. They have explained it. It has made no sense to me ever. Like this, you can clearly see the 100 points where you're getting the points. Um, I can break it down through the state reporting system. I can see which students were that bottom 25. I can see which students were the level three and four. We know which students we need to push in
013what ways. We know which students were our bubble kids kind of in the middle uh that we want to see growth from. It's this is understandable to me. Anyway, um this is the final I think the final time um that I have and I just wanted to show you on this one. These are those level four kids which are those like exceeding. These are the level three kids. So you could see we were low in the level three and four. That's why their shaded areas are smaller. We are majority of level two school. You can see that in the in the C and the majority of the yellow. There's a few outliers there. Sixth grade science and third grade um literacy, but for the most part, this is where we are. These are those level
014one kids. So our goal is to grow everyone, but to get more points, we want to take those level two kids and we want to bump them to level three and four because we get an additional point for any student that's a level three and four. So it's a balance of making sure you're showing growth, but also making sure that you're extending those level three and level four kids. I think that might be >> they explained it over to BB that that some of your higher level kids are not going to show the growth that some of the others are because they're very >> they're already high. That's true. They um I mean that's why they say it's not just about a certain percent of growth. They look at the individual and if you're already
015at a higher level, then you may have a smaller amount of growth that they want you to grow where I may be at a lower level and I may have a higher level of growth that they want me to grow at, but they're saying that your growth is just as difficult as mine because it's at a higher level. Level two, really quickly, I just wanted to read what the state department says. Even though level two is not demonstrating mastery, but it's in that midlevel C, if you want to call it that, um they say that a student who's a level two demonstrates a basic understanding of grade level knowledge, um but may still require personalized support and intervention. And so that's definitely what we're finding. These kids have some knowledge of grade level um but
016not quite enough to get to that level three or four and they need extra interventions. >> Y'all have any questions? >> Well, thank you Tammy. You did that very clearly. I appreciate that. >> And we'll have this report for the high school next month at the November meeting. And the slides are in your packet if y'all wanted to take that. >> Dr. You want me to do the high school just Yeah. >> Go ahead, >> M. She's going to do the report part for the high school, but the statistical report will be done next month. That that K just did. Okay. If um at the beginning of this chart, it shows where our uh student attendant was, our student attendance was from September to October. Unfortunately, um there's there's four students that we were under
017four students than what we were last month. Um, on the 19th, the National Guard met with the juniors and seniors and they had opportunities to discuss about things about the Guard to get students involved in and interested in those things. On September the 23rd, the Arkansas School for the Math and Science, they met with 9th and 10th graders and they shared information about their school in Hot Springs. On the 24th, Mr. Rei and Miss uh Thomas from the co-op in the DCTE met with Dr. Hubble, Erica, Brittney, and Coach Morgan to discuss the upcoming uh CTE pathways that are coming about and give students more opportunities. And also they w they visited our CTE classrooms to and they provided us updates on improvements and upgrades. Um on Wednesday, October the 1st, um myself, uh Miss
018Tammy and um Mr. or Coach Morgan, we all went to the UAPV the career fair. We were connecting to hopefully see potential um potential future candidates that come, you know, um Pine Bluff isn't that far from us, so we're trying to to get those um those students to come our way. and and we um had also had other opportunities we discussed about getting student teachers and things here. So um we're working on that. Um we also on the 1st we also had but um Mr. Brian had um bus evacuation drills for 7th through 12th grade. [clears throat] Um, on October the 8th, Britney and myself, we met with Kim Rot from the Bailey Group. And we discussed potential focus areas for the high school and what we're going to do to um to work on
019those and to get our students where we need to be and provide our teachers with support. Um, she will be coming back to us on November the 4th. Also, on October the 9th, we had senior night and students and parents came. They got details about graduation and scholarships and FASA. That's very important from them. Um, we also had two visitors, Miss Blessing Game and from [music] PLA, not Plasky, I'm sorry, PCCUA and a representative from TRIO services. They gave great helpful information um to our families and and what to prepare them for and all the whirlwind of changes this year. On October the 10th, we had um the mayor. We were blessed to have the mayor uh Mr. Butch. He came and he spoke to Miss Mullen's class about city government. So, gave them some
020real world experiences there. On October the 15th, juniors and seniors attended a college fair at BB. They gained helpful information for their future planning. This is so important. Um, also last week was homecoming. We had different dress up days. We had lots of fun. On uh Friday the 17th, we had a district-wide pep rally and we had all the featured maids and they were escorted by football players and cheerleaders and um the spirit stick contest and that's when our and that's when Miss Tammy said the seventh graders got to stay over um to celebrate their success on the test. Um they had a coronary coordinate co coordination ser ceremony on that afternoon before the game and we were are proud to say that the le the Lions defeated Claridan. Also this is something that was
021um really um something we want to brag on. On October the 19th we received word that we were re awarded three acceleration learning equipment materials grant from the AD. So, this is for three concurrent courses for seniors who are currently taking through PCCUA. Um, these grants will help them pay for their textbooks, their materials, and their classes. So, that's giving our kids an extra push to um get them some extra funding, but also kind of get that hook in them. So, you know, there is life after we graduate. And, you know, um it's not that far from here. Um our tennis team ended their season on October 13. Two boy double teams, one girl doubles team, and one boy single advanced to the state tournament after strong performances at the district. Our junior high volleyball
022team concluded their season on October the 11th. They fought hard against the first round in the district tournament. The senior high volleyball finished third at the district tournament and is competing this week at regionals in Taylor. And both of the junior and senior high football teams, they're continuing to show progress. And if you look at our enrollment trends, um through the last three years, we've kind of been staying in that number. So, yes, we are down four in October, but we're not >> You may be up four in November. >> Yes, ma'am. We're highly We're a highly mobile district. Students fluctuate it. They kind of It's kind of rotating. Um it's so we like Dr. Couple said, we could have four more tomorrow. Well, thank you, Mandy, for handsheddinging. I'm sure Trent and Britney appreciate
023that. >> Okay. Uh Joey had talked to me one day and asked me if I would do a rebuttal to Michael Nellms's comments at our last board meeting. And I I think that I do want to respond to that. I didn't do it at that meeting because I just thought it would get back and forth started and we'd be here all night. Uh there is no question that Coach Morgan is the high school principal. His contract says so. He's paid accordingly. No one doubts that. And I'm sorry that Coach Morgan kind of had to be disrespected like that that night. U and Mr. Nellum and his group can look up the contracts online. They're they're up. All he's got to do is look at it. Now, the reason in the L system with the state,
024you cannot enter two principles. You can only enter one name. And in his last FOI request, I sent him the error sheet. It throws up when it tells you you can't enter another name. So we decided that from here out we'll rotate Britney [music] and Trent showing up in the AL system. But he is absolutely the high school principal and uh and a good one too. I'll say I I don't know that anyone anywhere doubts that now we have finalized anou with Arkansas Baptist College. And again, Coach Morgan was sort of the point man on that. He brought that about. And it is not true that we're not having meetings and job fairs and this kind of thing. I keep telling Mr. Nellum, I've only been here since July the 1st. I haven't had time
025to schedule just a bunch of meetings, but we are uh including a portion of each leadership meeting every week to recruitment and retention. Now, we have had some job fairs. Tammy, y'all went to UHB. Is that right? Yes, ma'am. >> You and Mindy and who else? >> Coach Morgan. Okay. So, we are getting out to job fairs. We're planning our recruitment and retention breakfast on December the 19th. The kids will be pretty much done with semester test then so we can uh have a nice breakfast meeting and I told them to please invite your spouses as well. Uh as far as the selection of the superintendent candidates and I have told Mr. innumerable times. I don't know what the board was thinking. I was an applicant. I don't know. And I don't know, but I
026think that the people that were selected to be interviewed met the criteria in the job announcement. I That's all I know to tell them. Well, one of the requirements was experience. What two or three years, >> but uh and a lot of the applicants didn't have that experience. So, they were set to the side immediately. There wasn't any need in interviewing if they didn't meet the requirements. >> Some of them he wanted interviewed had no administrative experience. They might have been a director or a coordinator, but that's not the same as an administrator. So, uh, I I would like to make those points. And with that, we'll move on. Uh, you have some board election stuff in your, uh, folder, and Lisa and I have pulled our hair out trying to understand this because I'm
027going to tell you, it's confusing. But now, this document here is the latest one they sent us. And that one kind of straightens you out. It looks like Miss Linda and Jim are going to be the ones up for reelection with this title. You all adopted the six-year terms and this thing, this act 503 of 2025. This was sent to us today by the Arkansas School Boards Association, and it's in your packet. This pretty well lays it out. Now, um, we have some board trainings coming up that we need to know if you're coming to or not. If you will let us know, let me or Lisa know, we will do the paperwork to make sure you get some catfish at the co-op. I think that uh, their fish is supposed to be really, really
028good. And we have a training opportunity. He let me uh district 8 that we're a member of. There's a board training at North Little Rock School District on October the 28th from 5:30 to 8:30. And I will uh send y'all out an email or a text or something to let you kind of jog your memory about that. And then November the 3, we go back to Mills Co-op. They'll serve supper at 5:00 and then the training is from 5:30 to 8:30. >> Will it be basically a repeat of what? >> It'll be new information. It won't be a repeat. >> No, November the 3, eat at 5, and then 5:30 to 8:30. >> It is good. >> Now, do you all uh know yet if you're going to go to the ASBA conference in December?
029I asked that because we have to choose a voting delegate if any of you are going. >> That's what we went to last year. >> It's up at the Marriott Hotel. I don't think >> I don't know. I don't know who went. Mike usually went some, didn't he? >> Yeah. >> Are either of you ladies going? >> Depends when it is. December. What? >> Oh, I got it back on my calendar. within. >> Yeah, it's uh it's down close. I'd say it's about the middle of December, but if you decide that you're going to go, let me know as soon as you can so I can turn into them who our voting delegates going to be. And if you can't go, I plan to go so uh I can share materials and so forth with
030you. Okay. Uh Susan Kissery, who is the superintendent at Powen, went to a lot of trouble to do a data comparison of letter grades for 4 day schools versus fiveday schools because we're told that the education secretary, whose name I can never pronounce, uh is kind of down on four day schools. She's saying that we have a higher rate of of D's and Fs, but her research does not show that. And that's in your packet. So, that might just be something for you to read over tonight if you have trouble going to sleep. That might do the trick for you. >> I was surprised with it. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's good data. >> Yeah. I >> I thanked her for getting it together. That lets us know for sure that what's going on. >> Yeah.
031>> I bet all of us have wondered how we >> Yeah. She told me where she sat at the ball game. So Po and I saw her. But I also thanked her that they have no mosquitoes up there. That was really nice. Even though we got the dog beat out of us, we still didn't have mosquito bites. Okay. Uh we had a great school bus safety inspection. No violations. So kudos to Brian for that. Uh energy is going to pay for us to have energy uh saving thermostats installed. Now we don't have to have them at the elementary because they're state-of-the-art and they're going to have our ducks all cleaned and none of this will be of any cost to us. So I think that is great. Now, uh, next item, CDLs. It has become
032more and more difficult to get people to get a CDL, and I can understand that. I don't believe I'd like to drive a school bus, but our coaches are going to have to get a CDL. Now, I called our lawyer this afternoon and I asked her could we legally require our coaches who are already employed to get a CDL and she said yes that she was preparing a document for Camden Fairview. They're doing the same thing and she's going to send me a [clears throat] updated version for our district. But she said we can tell them now early in the year, we're in October, that they need to get their CDL by the end of the year or that could be taken into consideration if we have a riff in the spring. So from now
033on when we post a job for a coach, we're going to say must have CDL. Now, Winchell is eager to get his, and I think Coach Jackson has gotten one part of his, the driving part or the written part, whichever comes first. But if it's all right with you all, I would like to uh bring you that letter to the November [clears throat] board meeting, and if you approve of it at nove in November, we'll send it out >> because it's just the point we're going to have to walk or hit a ride if we don't get some coaches trained. We're having our flu clinic on October the 22nd. If you all need a flu shot, come on out and they'll pop your arm. Don't do what I did, though. I got a COVID shot
034and a flu shot, the same arm Thursday of last week, and it made me sick, but I'm over it now >> and I am immunized. >> Make me sick. Mhm. Now, Coach Morgan and I are exploring some options for AL next year. The hub they call it. Is that at Carile or where is that? >> I think is Carile. >> I think it is. >> Y'all have to forgive me. I'm still learning Lo County. Uh I want to do number one what's best for the student. There is a misconception that kids get sent to AL for bad behavior and sometimes that is the case but it's for a myriad of other reasons. A lot of it is credit recovery for kids who for whatever reason have fallen behind. If you have young ladies who are
035pregnant, sometimes it's better to have them out of the general population into a, you know, kind of a slower, better setting where they don't get teased and stuff like that. I want to do what's best for the kids and I want to do what is financially better for our school district. I think you can buy a good bit of bus diesel for what you can pay a teacher plus his or her benefits. You pay a teacher $50,000 and you're going to add about a third of that in benefits on on top of it. So, we do have to transport them, but Coach Morgan and I are looking into it and and you know, we want to we want to do what's going to be best all the way around. And Joey has mentioned to me
036about fireworks upsetting the dogs in the neighborhood south of the football field. I went kind of on a walking tour with Coach Dennis and um forget the other coach, maybe been Coach Brewer. But if we put it down in the other corner where those solar panels are, we're afraid that the sparks and things might damage the solar panels. And if we move it down to the other side, then we've got that pavilion and sparks on cars and people and kids and that's not good. Now, as somebody who owns three dogs who are all scared of lightning guns or anything else, I don't know that moving it from one end of the field to the other is going to do any good. I think the dogs will still hear it and will still be upset. >>
037I don't have any dogs, >> but you know, you have a dog. I want to be sensitive to our neighbors because I'm I love my dogs and you know I know they do too. I don't really know what to do about this short of discontinuing fireworks. >> Tell the coach quit scoring. >> Don't tell him that. [laughter] >> No, especially last weekend. >> Uh so any thoughts on that? >> Maybe the practice field. >> Yeah. Well, >> I mean, you're not moving it very far from where it's at right now. >> My dogs can hear a gunshot from 5 miles away. >> I don't think it on either side of the field 100 yards is going to make a difference. >> We're right behind Greg's house. We can move in the practice field. >> Yeah,
038we might do that. >> Well, we've got I think what one more home game. >> Okay. >> That's Carile. And so I don't know we'll be popping a lot of firecrackers that night or not. [laughter] We'll see. Uh, we'll say >> it. >> I'll tell them to, you know, use the practice field next time. Uh, because the crowd enjoys it, especially the kids and and we are here for the kids. But I do I can appreciate your neighbors problem. Uh, back before I moved to the wilderness, I had neighbors about that close to me and their kids popped firecrackers till 2:00 in the morning and my dogs were terrified and I was ready to go confront them. But anyway, I moved to the wilderness now. Uh, I've got the solar energy rep coming to the
039November board meeting to go over the contract and the equipment and the expenses and everything because I know a lot of you were not on the board when that contract was adopted. I was certainly not here when that contract was adopted. So, I think it will be an educational thing for us and for Angie in her uh capacity with paying the bills and so forth. Now, I have sent copies of our policy to all of our employees about abusing sick days. I have told them they cannot use sick days to go work a second job. That looks terrible. Now, they have two personal days. Do we have two personal days here? two. Now, I can't stop them from doing that because it's personal day, but we can't be ditching school to go work a second
040job. We're not ever going to become an achieving school if we do that. And I've got people who want to be off all summer and go on a cruise in September. And they're not even good liars. They put pictures on Facebook say, "Look at me. I'm on a cruise." I I I I've never seen anything like it. But anyway, I sent them a snippy email and I'm sure that my name is mud, but we're going to have to stop doing that. And finally, due largely to Joey and Bobby's detective work, we have recovered a trailer that belongs to the school that has been gone for how long, Joey? >> Two years. And it's got a brand new bottom in it. And Mr. Woods has said he's going to start locking the trailers up, which I
041think probably should cuz those things are expensive. >> Tail not. >> All right. County Sheriff's Department help with that. >> Yes, I understand. And they >> Yes, I understand they did. So the school lens tra >> No, I think somebody just >> it and never returned it. >> Well, they got a the ones over there had did have the hitches where they put the the ball in the hitch where you lock it up. So you can't you can't actually put it on a bunker. They got stuff that you put on there. I mean, they sat outside. They're not chained up, but you could chain them together. You said two over there. I thought one time big. >> I think there's one smaller one. This double. Yeah. >> Well, they're high. My husband just bought one
042and I was with him when he bought it and I'm like what? For a train. Anyway, that concludes my superintendence report and u >> now sooner or later we will draw straws for our terms. >> Yes, I'm going to the co-op board meeting tomorrow and I'm going to try to figure out how and when we're supposed to do that. I don't mind telling y'all. This stuff has been like calculus to figure out. >> Well, the ones that are running now, did they already have would have had to go up to the county and do their deal? 12th I think filing opens uh >> the third through the 12th 12 noon on the 12th >> you got your petition >> well if you don't have a petition you have to pay a pile and put >>
043I wasn't being specific who >> we got you trying to say ain't going to >> Jim, you should be good. >> All right. Uh, Roman numeral 6. I would like to revisit giving merit pay to these four teachers who uh have earned it. And I've visited with you about that and Tammy has too. And I think it would be an act of good faith and an act of retaining talented teachers if you would pay each of these four ladies $3,000. >> I make a motion to uh pay those four employees. I second. >> A motion by Mr. Ty, second by Mr. Adams. All in favor say I. >> Oppos. So everybody knows this is because they didn't earn it through the merit system pay program and they'd state ran out of money. >> Yes. And
044I just our teachers are just as important as teachers in Northwest Arkansas maybe more so agree with that. All right. And then we have the proposed budget of expenditures with the tax levy for fiscal year beginning July 1st 2027 ending June 2028. And this is from Mr. Ray Beardsley. There's a motion here, Jim, for you to read. And then we >> we have to uh fill all that out. >> This one. >> Yeah. That's attached to this bench. So far in the future, well, this we do this every year. It's It's just a hoop we jump through. Mr. Mr. Ray Beardsley prepares this and he is a cracker jack in the school finance business and so I always trust Mr. Beardsley rightly 100 years about 130. >> Yes. But I got a lot of respect

He's probably You don't want to name, >> huh? You got to read it. Make a motion. You got >> just this part, the first page. >> Yeah, just that. >> All right. I make a motion to adopt the attached proposal budget of expenditures with tax levy for fiscal year beginning July 1st, 2027 to and including July 30th to 2028 and to approve the related sample ballot. So any motion need a second f say I did awesome job there. >> I'd like to table adopting the facilities master plan to November. We have until January to get it done. >>
046I I failed to do the announcement of the public hearing. You have to have a separate public hearing for it and you have to have a separate signup sheet. And >> what's this again? the master facilities plan. Okay. >> And it's the very same [clears throat] plan as last year. It hasn't changed any at all. But I want to move it to November. [cough] That'll be all right. [clears throat] >> Yeah. I woke up the other night and got thinking about it. Mr. Joy, can the city come out here and scrape that ditch out where you're talking about the little high spot is that >> Well, there's several high spots. >> I know what I'm talking about. It just I mean, they can cut that much probably and get it done without making it hold
047water and let water pass by. >> Yeah, they've got that excavator. >> That's what I'm talking about. It's got it's got to buy a buggy just to clean out before the winter time before it starts holding lots of water. >> Of course, it needs cutting from the concrete. >> Yeah. >> Over to there. >> Uh and you [clears throat] know, but I'll try to get with Butch and see if he'll come do that. >> I just thinking it needs to get done while ground's kind of soft right now. One time I'd mentioned to the resource officer that when the inmates come to finish up the building, of course, they'd need to come when, you know, non-school day, but just do it with a shovel. >> I don't know about Mr. Butch has got that good
048the little back. That do pretty good on it, too. >> Yeah. Yeah. Keith. >> Yeah. Finart took some shots of it. He could fix this up a little. >> I guess he come by and just make some paint and paint it kind of where it needs to be. Okay. >> Okay. Employees are expected to attend all schedule of virtual meetings, webinars, or trainings. Example, Zoom Teams on campus if during a contract day. Participation from home is not permitted. If PD, virtual or in person, is scheduled for less than a full day, 6 hours or more, employees are required to return to campus and resume their regular duties for the remainder of
049the workday. That's the change. So, I would ask you to approve that. Motion motion by Mr. Adam. Second. >> Second by Mr. Trish Car. All >> favor say I. >> Huh? >> There's page two. I just >> say I >> there's more. >> Oh, yeah. There is two pages. Okay. Yeah. Uh the uh big bill is new that we kind of went what over. So, we would like for you to uh get us to approve for us to go ahead and pay that and their rep will be here at the next meeting to tell us what's what on this contract. >> So, we'll make a motion to approve the Blue Path Finance Incorporated invoice for 15,80789. So, motion by Mr. Adam second. Didn't we just make this payment? >> Yeah, that's why they're going to
050come next appointment so we can get this resolved and figure out what's going >> They come out quarterly. >> Yeah. >> What? >> We don't pay once, right? >> They come out. We get a bill quarterly. Yeah. >> That last one y'all had put off a couple. >> Yeah, that's right. So that's why it's so bad. >> So that's why it's a second. >> Huh? Is that a second? >> We're under contract. All right. Second. >> I want to go. >> 50. >> That doesn't make sense. >> Where are we making this? >> Well, that's what we're going to ask him. >> If we default, can they just come take it? >> Repo it. No stress with the state. >> Okay. Uh then we need to pay Wilmer Mills co-op for our special ed early
051childhood special ed preschool services. 9,000 for special ed early and 1058166 for special ed preschool. >> So make a motion. >> This is motion by Mr. Chris Lewis. Second by one.
