I just have a quick question. Alma, when was the last time that this was updated? >> It was more than 20 years ago. We couldn't go back to the exact years, but yeah, it was over 20 years ago. >> For sure. Yeah. >> And this is just uh an update on the actual job description. Has nothing to do with like salary
013placements yet or anything, right? >> No. Yeah. Like it was mentioned before, there's like a two part to this study. It's a a classification and compensation study. We're starting to receive the information on the classification and then afterwards we'll stick working with EMS the educational management solutions company uh to give us a recommendation on the salaries based on what we adopt as a new descriptions and title so that they can also go and compare to the market. But um yeah this is just the job descriptions updated. The essence of the job hasn't been changed. that no additional duties. It's just reflecting what the employees are already doing and performing on a day-to-day basis. >> Okay. So, I mean just was were there was there a lot of uh big modifications or were there minimal? >>
014No. If anything is on the verbiage for the functions um and we make sure that it's uh actual like it was mentioned it's been over 20 years and it had been um updated just on the district name. So now they went out to the market, they uh interview employees, supervisors and they met at least twice with each of them. So it's it's more accurate to reflect the current responsibilities and actually the the um the needs also of the job description. >> And if I can add every description of the role has a it included a purpose, right? So if you're delivering professional development, it states for the purpose of. So it's it's uh more descriptive to the rule. >> Okay. More intentional. >> More intentional. >> Yes. That's always good. >> Yes. >> Um I
015have one more. I'm sure you've told us before, but how often is this recommended to to be conducted so that we don't spend another 20 years? >> Yeah. Every uh there's two sections. So like when it comes to the actual compensation is at least every five years and to like redo the classification is at least 10 to 7 to 10 years. >> Okay. So, so well overdue. >> Put it in your calendar >> schedule. >> Any other questions or comments? Need a motion? >> Motion was made by Miss Varte. >> Second by Miss Clark.
