003programs provide students with hands-on exposure and experimentation supported by industry guest speakers and career field immersion opportunities in addition to structured learning outside of the classroom the career programs also offer their own set of eligibility for certifications and or post-secondary advancement beyond graduation additionally all students are eligible for various apprenticeship programs structured learning opportunities college and other post-secondary education credits acit offers career programs in air force jrotc the jrotc program provides a four-year sequential program of instruction that emphasizes aerospace science leadership education and health and wellness coursework also includes military history customs and courtesies drill and ceremonies and building upon students character self-confidence and self-discipline qualities that are necessary to thrive in any career while students are not required to join the military they are eligible and will receive special recognition for having served as
004a cadet at the high school level college bound students can compete for an air force academy nomination or an air force rotc scholarship through their air force junior rotc unit automotive acid instructors facilitate the master automotive service technology program which is based on the eight areas of vehicle repair as designated by the national institute of automotive service excellence and accredited by the national automotive technicians education foundation the eight areas include brakes steering and suspension electrical and electronics heating and air conditioning engine performance engine repair automatic transmission transaxle manual transmissions and axles program graduates have the opportunity to earn an industry recognized ase certification as well as an sp2 certification a nationally recognized safety and pollution accreditation additionally students qualify to take the subaru certificate exam successful completion of this four-year program will provide the skills
005and certifications necessary for students to enter the workforce as an entry-level automotive technician aviation studies students in aviation studies will spend their freshman year building a foundation in both engineering and aeronautics reflective of the high school curriculum developed by embry riddle university the world's largest accredited university system specializing in aviation and aerospace and the sophomore junior and senior years students solely focus on aviation students study aviation weather introduction to national airspace systems air traffic control and unmanned aerial systems the aviation studies program supports students as they build a solid comprehension of aviation sub-branches from principles of the field to contemporary trends students are exposed to multiple career pathways within the field and prepare for a career-recognized industry certification the remote pilot airman certificate with a small uas rating building trains plumbing electrical and carpentry students

014assist doctors treat patients and perform administrative duties in health care settings the program provides both clinical and administrative preparations areas of instruction include a foundation in healthcare medical terminology vital signs infection control medical records management pharmacological and anatomy and physiology the curriculum will also include medical malpractice medical law and ethics basic administrative skills electrocardiology nutrition and medical laboratory assistance skills students in their senior year participate in a clinical internship at an off-site medical facility or other approved locations if eligible seniors may also enroll in the emt certification course graduates take the national medical assistant exam for certification and are also eligible for an american heart association cpr certification at the end of the program upon graduation students are able to go directly to work in a doctor's office or continue on their education performing arts
015the performing arts career program prepares students for entry into post-secondary performing arts programs as well as professional careers students spend their first year in an exploratory program learning various aspects of acit's performing arts program for the remainder of the program students select an area of concentration and either dance vocal music or drama students are required to participate and explore all areas either as a performer and as a technician in the productions and community events video production and graphic design students in the video production and graphic design program will explore a variety of industry standard career-based technologies and develop an understanding of the creative process through hands-on activities the program will introduce students to graphics including vector and logo creation and manipulation utilizing the adobe suite students discover the methodology behind visual storytelling pre-production practices editing
