I'm here with Superintendent Jeremy Kais and our board president, Steven Chapman, and we're going to review the meeting agenda for Tuesday's board meeting. Okay, let's get right to it. Mr. Chapman, we have a couple of celebrations this time. What are we doing? >> Uh yeah, uh one of our staff members uh just recently recognized as the Arizona Homeless Liaison of the Year. Um we'll be celebrating them and the work they've been doing for our community. uh as well as our University High School uh staff will be celebrating all their successes over the last year. Uh so we'll be meeting also our students and staff members of the year at University High. >> Okay, moving on. We're going to have

002um public participation like always and then information discussion items includes open meeting law complaint status report. >> Yes. So we've had uh 12 complaints were lodged. We're going to go over the results of of those findings now that we've heard back from the attorney general's office. And so we'll we'll share that with the board and then talk about next steps uh relating to that. >> All right, moving past the consent agenda here, we have um two items for action. We are going to discuss the approval of a CTDS number for Australia Vista Academy. What is that? Well, when we have a new school, which is a very exciting time to have a a new school, we have to officially lodge the name and get a a CTDS number, which stands for county type district school.

003So, it's a number that's used to identify the school specifically. And we do that application with the Department of Education. The board has to, of course, approve the application to the Department of Education. And then we'll submit that and we'll officially have the school recognized by the state of Arizona. Okay. >> After an amazing groundbreaking and again, thanks to our community for all their support over the years has allowed us to uh finally break ground on this project and welcome um more students to our our district that are moving into that area that's growing. >> Yeah. Awesome. The next item on the agenda under action and discussion is to approve the governing board meet meeting schedule for next year. >> Yep. Just a calendar when we're going to have our board meetings. Uh usually the

004second fourth Tuesday uh of the month at 6 PM. Uh sometimes it kind of fluctuates with breaks and stuff like that, but uh yeah, we'll just be approving the calendar for the year. >> Okay. Anything else that we should mention before the meeting on Tuesday? >> I think that's it. We look forward to seeing you there or seeing you online. >> Okay. We'll see you guys Tuesday at the district office for our next governing board meeting.
