001welcome to parent University's title one presentation this presentation will cover a snapshot of our school in terms of demographics climate school goals and the available supports for the students [Music] here you can see a CIT at a glance which breaks down the staff members and each grade by population and here we have another way to break down our students and as you can see we have our students broken down by their academy or career area and now we can finally see the enrollment by the race and ethnicity here is a result of our Climate Survey that was filled out by students parents and staff as you can see we had a ton of positive feedback but there is always room for improvement here at a CIT we offer many tiers of support for our students
002the tiers are listed below if we dive deeper into the tiers of support for our students here we can see the after-school tutoring schedule and the homework hub schedule which as you guys can see tutoring and homework hub is offered after school every Monday through Thursday as we continue to dive deeper into the supports for our students here you can see the intervention and referral services and have a better understanding of it another available support here at a CIT is a 504 plan a 504 plan is a legal binding plan developed for an individual who has a diagnosed physical or mental impairment that affects the students educational success [Music] the final support being discussed today is the child study team and an IEP the child study team offers support services to students found eligible for
003special education and/or related services to the development of an IEP which is a legal binding written document which identifies the areas of strength and weakness while providing a guideline for an individualized program to lead to student success now we are going to look at the 2019 2020 goals and initiatives here in a CIT as you can see we have all goals aimed at increasing student achievement now we can now see the implementation of a CIT school-wide plan which explains how we are going to accomplish all the goals here at a CIT [Music] thank you so much for watching parent University and I hope you gain some insight about what goes on here in a CIT
