Their kindness, their hard work, uh their grades, uh it could be for any reason. So the teachers chose them, submitted their names, and then I get to read something nice about them up here in front of everybody. So students, when I call you up, gonna come up, stand next to me. I'm gonna embarrass you by reading stuff about you. Okay? And then you have

doing everything right all the time, right? Um, uh, this is normally the part of the meeting where I say you can stay, but you really don't have to. You can you can go now. Okay. So, have a have a great evening. >> Bye. >> Thank you, everyone. You want to get home. >> The best part of the night. It is >> maybe. >> Yeah. No doubt. >> All right. At this point, um, we'll open the meeting to the public for the discussion of agenda items only. Motion in a second. >> Motion. Second. >> All those in favor? >> I oppose or abstain. >> Okay. Um at this point we will um motion a second to close the public portion. Motion keep it delay. All those in favor? >> I I see. >> Mr. Lee, you're

up again. >> I'm up. Okay. Um, on my beginning of my report here, like normal is our safety and security drills for both JFK and DDE. Item C is our bus evacuation drills that were performed in the month of April. Uh, item D is monthly reports uploaded to the portal by our administrators. Item E is two HIV incidents that happened. both were unfounded. Uh F1 is to approve the two HIBs that the board already voted on uh at last month's meeting. Item G is a lengthy list of new policies. These these are the policies that I sent you in my newsletter to the board. Um nothing groundbreaking. Most of it was were things that were updated by school boards association. a lot of legal stuff, maybe like some changes in in verbiage and language. Um,

but most of it uh is not was not crazy. Uh, item G2 is the second reading of two policies that were previous one policy and one rag that were on previous agenda. Uh, item G3 is for the board to accept the focus grant. So before I told the board that we applied for three grants. Uh this we have not heard about two of them yet, which is making me a little bit nervous since it's the end of the school year. Um but we did um received the focus grant award in the amount of $2,40 and that helps us to pay for our Ames web uh universal screener for students in in K through third grade. I think it's either second or third grade, but I think it's third grade. Uh uh where am I at?

Uh four. Okay, four. We have one guest speaker from Stockton University. Item five, we have another um trove of advanced approved uh parents volunteering. Item six is to approve the creation of a literacy literacy teacher coach position uh at the elementary school. Essentially, this is a a teaching position, but it is someone who will be working with the teachers uh to help implement interventions within their own uh classroom. Um, also going to be doing some some pull out instruction for students who who need a little bit more uh help than what they're getting in the classroom. But really what we want is someone to come in and and work with our teaching staff next year. Not it, like I said, it is a teaching position, not a supervisory or administrative position. Uh, under H1, we

have some uh new hires and personnel. H2. We are uh on the agenda here is for the board to accept the resignation of a part-time instructional and the retirement after 20 years of our middle school principal, Mrs. Bright. Uh H3 is to approve a couple of student interns for next school year. H4 is to approve two leaves of absences. Uh, H5 is to approve the 2627 contract for Megan Stoddard, our school business administrator. Item six is to approve the ESY extended school year staff for this summer. Item seven is to approve summer work for the child study team, whether that be evaluations or meetings that need to occur over the course of the summer. And that's it for my session. >> I'm going to do a motion in a second, then I'll ask if there's

any questions. So motion and a second to approve superintendence items um A through H. >> Motion >> second. >> Any questions? >> The literacy teacher coach position has that already funding been included in the budget? >> Yes, >> it has. Other questions? All right. Um Mr. Golden. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Allen. >> Yes. >> Mr. Phillips. >> Yes. >> Mr. R. Yes, >> Miss Juliano. >> Yes, >> Miss Oriente. >> Yes, >> Miss Helma. >> Yes, >> Mr. B. I will get it right. I promise. Tonight's just not the night. And Mr. Davis, >> I'm going to need to spell that out for myself. Um, I will get it. >> All right. On to business and finance. Um, the financial report is back from the treasurer for April 2026. Um, no line item has been

overexpended. There are sufficient funds um available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the year. The treasurer's report and secretary's report are in agreement and there are no changes changes in anticipated revenue amounts or sources. Um E is the payment to approve payment of the bills that everybody have a chance to get multiple double signatures on there. All bills are done. Okay. Um F is just to approve the May 2026 source for teachers listing with the rates listed. G is to approve the cafeteria dispersements for the month of April in the amount of $65,38567. H is to approve the care dispersements for the month of April in the amount of $11,63711. I is to approve um the following out of district placements. Um this is for next year includes ESY as well.

J is to approve a couple budget transfers. As you'll see, I just had to make some moves to cover some home instruction services for some of our district students. And I had to transfer some funds to cover fuel costs for our district vehicles. That's our buses, um lawn mowers, now Chuck's vehicle, anything that he needs to get fuel for. Um K is a resolution that came across um through email that a lot of the boards are doing now. It's a resolution urging relief from the rising public school employee healthcare costs. So, as you're all aware, when we had our public hearing and also through the entire budget season, we were discussing um how these health care costs are increasing and they're really causing some issues for the district. So, um our local associations have kind

of come out and said we should all pass this resolution and send it up to um you know, assemblymen and the governor and things of that nature to see if we can get some type of reform. um to kind of help bring those costs down moving forward. Um L is to approve the 2627 Camden County Ed Services Commission general services contract. M is to approve the 2627 uh Gloucester County Special Services School District professional services contract. Um LM and O that I'll get to. They are not things that we use on a regular basis. It's just if we need additional um evaluations or things of that, consultations, things like that. But we approve their general services contract every year. N is to approve um to acknowledge settlement of the matter identified as um the docket

number which was negotiated and executed by the New Jersey School Insurance Group on behalf of the board. O is to approve the 2627 Burlington County Special Services School District Professional Services contract. P is just to approve a list of 2627 contracted outside consultants for some of the things that the child study team needs. We do this every year. Um, and that's it. Let me do a motion, a second, and then I can take any questions that you may have. Can I have a motion and a second to approve business and finance items um, A through P? Second. Any questions? No. All right. Mr. Golden, >> yes. >> Mrs. Allen, >> yes. >> Mr. Phillips, >> yes. >> Miss Row, >> yes. >> Mrs. Helm, >> yes. >> Miss Juliano, >> yes. >> Mr. Oriente, >>

yes. >> Mr. B, and Mr. Davis, >> yes. >> All right. Perfect. >> All right. Um, old business. I don't think we have any old business. Um, new business negotiations. um BTA, we are working on a memorandum of agreement that will go to the um BTEA for them to have it ratified um with their membership. And once they do that and they have that information, then they'll start working on their salary guides. But we have um an unofficial um agreement on a contract for five years starting in July 2026. Uh finance, I didn't have that meeting this evening. Um I had a family conflict. So, um, we'll resume next month. Um, school boards, I just sent a couple people your annual training. There were a couple for some of our board members that were due.

Um, you have until December 31st to get that done. It's just the governance training. Um, services commission, nothing. Uh, Pine Hill, uh, yeah, they had their budget hearing and the regular meeting on the same day. They do the budget hearing first. So, um, the budget passed, so they're pretty much in the same position as everyone else. >> Yeah. >> So, we we all passed that. And then other than that, just going through the different um, you know, same thing as us with the uh, extended school year, right, with different salaries. And they're also in negotiations this year with their contracts. And they're still in negotiations, but they're like almost done. I think they're almost done. Um they like they were saying that they reformed like a ton of stuff in their contracts this year which

is all good things I guess they're saying for good things for the school district. So you know it looks promising. Um they did have one of their students uh they just posted it today on the website. They had a contest for New Jersey um >> New Jersey Transit. One of the Overbrook art students won and they wrapped a bus in her design. It's super cool. It's like >> for the 250th they just Yeah. Yeah, it was really cool looking. >> Yeah, it was really cool. Um, so they did that and then you know spring sports are in full effect. Prom's coming up the week uh is on June 5th and then graduation and they oh they scheduled graduation for 3:00 in case there's rain so that if they need to move it back they can

because they said no matter what they are going to figure out a way to have it outside. So um so yeah, they're just getting ready for all the end of the year you know activities and and that's it pretty much it. Perfect. >> Um, Cammy County School Boards. I haven't seen anything. >> All right. At this point, um, no one else had anything new business, right? >> Um, at this point, we'll open the meeting to the public, um, for the discussion of, uh, agenda or non-aggenda items. Can I have a motion, a second? >> Motion. >> Second. >> All those in favor? >> Opposed to abstain? Hearing none. Um, can I have a motion and second to close the public portion of the meeting? >> Motion. >> Second. >> All those in favor? >> Opposed

or abstain? All right. We do have a need for an executive session. Um, so I will let u Mr. Cunningham know to come shut us down. Um, and then we'll go into executive. I do not believe any decisions will be made after executive. So, um, you probably heard me. Maybe it usually comes in before my text goes down. A little warm in here. See you. Thank you. almost had a meltdown this morning because it wasn't going on my I was like I and I walk in and look at her thermostat and I turn to look it's still on heat. I was like this never goes on. This is the next level. speak right now. We're We're semi live. >> Semi live. >> Oh yeah. >> What's that? >> All right. Um so at this point

then we can adjourn the meeting. There was no action taken in executive or afterwards. So can I have a motion and second to adjurnn the meeting? >> Motion second. >> All those in favor or abstain. >> All right guys >> have a great night and we'll see you in June. >> Thank you everyone. And >> and speaking of that um if
