003You Go sir Luca is respectful responsible and always has a positive attitude he is a great role model Luca always shows great empathy towards everyone and is always willing to help a fellow classmate I am so proud of him congratulations next we have Melina magazu during the time I spent with Maddie and the clay room as her second grade teacher Maddie always displayed an eagerness to help other students she was always willing to pitch in help out and befriend others who may have been struggling in the classroom Maddie always had a cheerful smile and a warm hug to greet me in the morning and an eagerness to do well every day congratulations all right now uh for the month of October Karina oracho Karina's teacher wrote that Karina has been growing and glowing in Mrs

006to get from this green thing here a little bit big smiles those are great smiles yeah they are good job guys congratulations all right on to our DD middle school students of the month for October first we have have faith God bold congratulations there you go Faith takes pride in her work by following instructions than doing the best work that she can she's prepared for class eager to learn and begins working the moment she comes into the classroom each morning there is no slacking with this girl she has a great attitude and is always lending a helping hand in the classroom it is with great ease that faith has been chosen to be student of the month for November our next student is Jayla Mill JLA monu demonstrates academic honesty and hard work throughout every
007school day she sets high standards for herself and completes her work with perseverance and maturity her respectful and friendly attitude toward both students and staff is admirable great job Lea our next student is Nathan negr congratulations inch too unexpected for seventh grader uh Nathan is a wonderful addition to the seventh grade class he works diligently to meet deadlines and make sure he is on top of his workload Nathan demonstrates excellent critical thinking skills asking how and why and trying to get to the root of information Nathan not only makes sure he is succeeding but often goes out of his way to help others succeed as well he is patient with others who may not understand as well as he does and is always willing to take time to explain difficult content to other students great

010one reported um one report of hi at DDE and it was confirmed not a hi uh item number one on the next page there is of the hips from last month sorry a little um braen part there um under FF one we have two new policies uh policy reviews um that I sent out to the board um these are both concerning preschool and essentially what I did there was a lot of verbiage in there that talked about when we admit three-year-old students we are admitting three-year-old students so I needed to update the language um we're also changing how families are registering um to get their children into preschool they're going to now be using on course so that they go in and everything's done in one shot so they don't have to come in and
011then write register after they've already um you know put their name in that that pool of people um item number two there is a second reading for all the policies that we had on the agenda last month item number three is to is for the board to approve all of our policies all of our district policies for the school year that link was uploaded um to your portal as well item number four is for the board to approve the submission of our uh Q DPR the district performance review for 2425 we've been working through the process for the last two months of getting all our documentation together for cusac we have that all completed and so we are submitting our materials tomorrow and then we will meet in person with the county in January item
012number five is um our update for the three-year preschool uh program plan um really the update and nutshell is that we are adding one more class again next year and then the following year we'll have to add two more classes so there will be a large amount of discussion moving into that about where we will house those additional classes uh item number six is the nursing Services plan it's just an annual plan that we approve each year signed off on by our school physician and both nurses item number seven is school volunteers item number eight are organizations that use our facilities nothing new same organizations we see each month item number nine is to approve the projected enrollment submission for preschool uh G1 is more field trips that we have three more field trips that
013we have come in over the month uh item H we have a an a position for an after school for a student who's staying after school for ban um we also have a part-time instructional Aid who will be with us when she's home for break from college uh number two is uh accepting resignation of one of our bus drivers item number three is to approve that same student who's going to be the aid is also coming to do some of their hours to observe our speech language pathologist item number four is to approve sick leave and unpaid leave for an employee um really two periods of time march to June and then again from September 2nd next year until Jan January 6 of the following year under curriculum instruction item one is to approve the

018their reward meeting on this Tuesday the 7th of January and we have to have hours before they have Theirs to pick our our rep for the the pineal Ford and so Monday January 6 is the date that I was looking at hoping that works for the for the board first will not be the first I can assure you that well and the other option was that you know the second is a Thursday but I was like that's the first day we're coming back SCH like we don't want to do that's rough yeah I figur two and we didn't want to do a Monday so or we didn't want to do Friday obviously so Monday the six work and does seven o'clock work for everybody or do you want to do a little earlier that oh
019meeting it doesn't matter because that's just the one meeting and that's where we set our meetings for that whole year so we do have some flexibility with the time there um again it's literally like a 10 or 15 minute meeting um so whatever you guys want to do I like 6:30 but want to try for 6:30 does that work Mondays sometimes you're rough on a mon no you're okay do does 6:30 work for everybody on a Monday I can make it work okay all right let's do 6:30 I'll have Jody um prepare the notice for The Courier Post so we can get that out and advertised and then like I said at the reor meeting we'll set the um calendar dates for next year and we'll stick with that 7 o'clock start time all right

021just watching those um budget lines to make sure you know we have sufficient funds all of grants have been approved by um the office of Grants management as well as the county office and we have started to uh draw down those funds with those reimbursement requests that we submit after every board meeting once bills are paid um miscellaneous we had the drrs which is our annual Transportation report the midyear efficiency review documents the 2526 preschool projected enrollment and the preschool operational plan we're all due on 11:15 and they were all submitted on time uh Auditors started in the district this week and started the audit for the 23 24 fiscal year all seems to be going well so far our Assa which is determines our state aid is due on December 6th and as you
022saw we have a bus driver vacancy I currently have four um candidates in so probably the first week of December I'll be doing interviews um and I'll probably have about two bus drivers sit in with me just since they'll be working with those individuals it's kind of good to get um their take so I'll have a few individuals sitting in on the interviews with me um that was it for finance school boards I don't think there's I haven't see anything first the state school boards I have uh ed services anything Michelle uh no we didn't have a meeting in November the next one is December 4th okay um Kim is not here so she can't give us our Pine Hill update um and then also for the Camy County School boards I haven't seen anything
023come through for that either um does anybody have anything for new business um we are waiting on the official election results we had some rins so once we we we had some rins we have someone that has 12 someone that has seven um it looks like Miss Ro will be leaving us there was someone that was awarded the seat so um with 12 so I'll have some more information once I have some more solid results but it looks like that's that's the direction it's going um so once I have more um I have to reach out to that candidate to make sure that they're interested since they were right in interested in running or interested in filling the vacancy before um and then if they choose not to at that point then we would you're
