006we didn't have any the prior meeting as well so that's really good for us um item F uh number one is recommend that the board of education on the recommend recommendation of superintendent review the safe return plan revision all this is is the um it's the same safe return plan that we had to start filling out when we received the the federal funds for covid uh and because we're still receiving those funds we had to revise it yet again but this will be the last revision because the funds have to be encumbered by the end of September else well we'll make an adjustment we'll get to them um all right uh uh item G Personnel we've been busy doing some hiring uh so the names all the names on that list are people who have
007been hired either to to begin um next school year um or um over the summer so you can see the list there salary and a start date for those people we still have a couple people left uh to hire but we're making really good progress I also plan on bringing them all in in September for the board meeting and introducing all of them individually to the board all the little bio and that whole thing um number two is um resignations um with regret this is Kyrie aloy teacher for 29 years effective at the end of the school year 6:30 and also um another personer for summer painter cleaner position number three uh is uh child study team um members coming in for to do evaluations in the summertime so there's two names there letter H

012perum rate for Extraordinary ex Services um we also have a grade 12 plus student um that just means that they're beyond 12th grade because uh special ed students get educ until they're 21 years old so this student is on the 12 plus I believe the student has either one or two more years left um tenative tuition rate of $184 se23 this includes esy so it's July through June Jay is to approve some travel and professional development for some of our staff members K is to approve to establish the following financial institutions for deposits of school funds we currently use Republic and Citizens Bank as you know Republic will eventually switch over to Fulton but that's just going to be a natural progression um we're still approving it is Republic at this point um that's where

018prices our student lunch will remain at 3:25 and our student breakfast will remain at $1.35 AK is to approve Marilyn brigh as our district affirmative action officer Al is to approve Mr Adam Lee as our school safety specialist am is to approve the agreement with learnwell to provide Educational Services for student SID number listed that was in a medical facility the rate is $55 an hour with a maximum of 10 hours of Educational Services per week a an is to approve a contract with neutr serve for the 2425 school year this was approved I think last month or two months ago but um the state wanted us to have the full amount of the contract on there cafeteria is generally self-supporting so all of the money that they get back from the state for reimbursements

022kind of some sizable ones again and um trying to think nonetheless we did do a lot of transfers we did still have sufficient funds to meet our obligations for the um entire school year definitely closer than I've ever been since I've been here in this job since 2011 um so it don't be surprised if come you know November or December I say spending's Frozen um just because I don't know if we have any unanticipated expenses I'm not sure what that's going to look like so um that's Finance uh New Jersey school boards Association I don't have anything for them other than their um annual Workshop will be coming up in October that's still a little ways off and I'll reach out see if anyone was interested in going we'll register who needs to go um
023ed services anything um there was a reorganization meeting um I was renominated to the board of directors and I'm on the education committee they approved the new meeting schedule appointed new committee members and they're talking about purchasing a property in collinswood to use for a couple different things okay Hill yeah don't mind my my crazy notes Here I didn't get a chance to sum them up um so National Night Out first of all is August 6 600 pm to 8:00 pm um at U Brook High School and July 3rd Pine Hill is also offering uh like food trucks and activities there starting at 6 pm and fireworks so um that's the first thing the I usually sum it up so um we had two presentations uh the first presentation was given by the achieve program
024um two out of three of the adult the adults that run the achieve program which is also formerly known as the Twilight program if any of you are familiar with the Twilight program um came in and told us some of the good good things that are happening with them um she they said everyone is now on grade level that is there um seven graduated uh it increased most of their self-esteem and decreased discipline by having them during the day instead of I guess at night time um things that they've addressed that they've tried to make it as normal of a school day for them as possible is adding breakfast um doing driver's education tests like the um Regular students get that go to Overbrook um going outside through physical education electronic learning um and the
025consistent staff and the routine being yeah because they run it during they run it during the school day so yeah exactly um they did the awards at Overbrook on the 12th of June of course graduation was also that Friday and we will be having a virtual meeting on July 9th however I will not be attending but they do do not that that's for hires basically so they can hire the people throughout the summer because we don't usually have a July meeting so um and we did a lot of hiring a lot of the same Megan did um and that was pretty right and there's not much for Camy County School boards association either I really haven't seen much from anything since a free dialogue from no and that was njsba but they all kind of
