010on the Sal salary approval list from our April meeting uh H2 is a resignation of a part-time instructional e effective uh beginning of of May item H3 is our staff members who will be serving on the DC committee uh District evaluation advisory committee um I've been working with Miss Botley quite a bit to update um our evaluation system and um sort of how we uh how we evaluate teachers and get their input and and create a new document so we're going to be working on that over the summer uh item H4 is for ESL PD that is also something that Miss Botley is is heading up for us item five uh is our es to approve our esy staff for the summertime so we have a number of positions that we bring in for the
011summer I believe esy starts July 8th and runs through August 8th is that right correct uh items one program ends the week before there's two different programs one is week uh item six is our CST staff for the summertime to to come in and complete evaluations and necessary things for the following school year item seven is a leave of absence uh item number eight is the business administrator's contract this is not approving my contract it's just approving the submission to the county office for their review hopefully it and then it would be approved in June was uploaded port and item well number oh number one I'm sorry under curriculum instruction our curriculum updates there updates to the standards and so Miss B worked with the staff to get those updates in for ELA math and

014dispersements for the month of April 2024 in the amount of $833 650 3 cents I is to approve the following added District contracts for the 232 we don't have any how did we miss that we don't have any we looked at this we don't have any right now um Jay is to approve travel and professional development for the following staff members again this is kind of winding down U most of our PD for for this fiscal year K is to approve the agreement for student internships between Rowan University and the Berlin Township School District this is for August 1st through 2024 through July 31st 2027 item L is to approve the indemnity and Trust agreement with the New Jersey school Insurance Group Burlington and Camy County Educators Ins Insurance Consortium we have to approve this
015every couple years um that's who provides all of our insurance for um property um errors and Emissions uh legal bonds all that stuff m is to approve the interlocal services agreement between the B Township of Berlin and Berlin Township Board of Education this is for our um school security officers and is to approve the strategic planning agreement between the Berlin Township Board of Education and New Jersey school boards Association Mr Lee discussed that um this is something that you guys will be taking on with a bunch of other stakeholders in the coming year o is to approve the following resolution which authorizes the completion of an application and receipt of safety award Grant this comes through um New Jersey Insurance Group and every year they decide that they have a specific amount of funds that
016go back to the membership and they put it in the form of a safety Grant um we are going to receive $3,920 and it's going to be for um to go towards the um upgrading the server for our um video cameras and surveillance in the district um p is to approve the 2425 General Services contract with Camy County Ed Services Commission that was also uploaded to the portal we do that every year Q is to approve the interlocal services agreement between Berlin burrow Board of Education and Berlin Township Board of Education this is for the bcba this person's already been staffed by us they had a change in the salary based on um settlement of their negotiated agreement so it's just a revision based on the increase in salary um that agreement was also uploaded

018reviewed all the bills and signed off on them um just a new added District placement for Overbrook next year that they're looking into it's came to us about a few weeks ago so it is not budget for next year um so we're going to have to get a little bit creative um but we did just get some news this afternoon that a current student is out a district is going to have some reduction in some of their um services so hopefully that helps to offset um but I always keep a close eye on that and hope for the best send me positive VI um we don't really have any funding information or concerns right now we're just in the process of making sure all of our purchase orders are closed out for the year at
019least as many many as we can don't really like to have a whole lot of encumbrances moving forward um probably in the next um early June we'll probably say purchasing is done for the year so that way we can make sure that we have everything wrapped up um if they haven't bought it by now they probably don't need it so um grants also working to close out the grants we have until September 30th 2024 so there are a couple things planned for summer um grants with relation to professional development and then even some summer learning opportunities um and then I just told them that I got to speak to the e8th grade math classes on Tuesday they just wrapped up um a financial literacy portion of their curriculum so I got to talk to them
020a little bit about what I do which was super exciting to get in there and um be with the kids um they seemed very receptive and it was need to kind of Rel that to what um you know balancing a budget and how they're also going to have to do that as well when they um you know get grow up um so that was neat so yeah that's it for finance uh school boards I don't think much for school boards um I haven't seen anything come through have you um Ed Services Commission anything Michelle um they had an open house but I could not attend because we had our budget meeting that same night but I was did it virtually they approved contracts and salary for a variety of positions and they approved some Transportation
021agreements nothing too crazy all right anything for Pine Hill Kim unfortunately I had to miss the meeting last week but with a family emergency however graduation is going to be is that the 17 19th No 19 Friday it's Friday the 14 yes graduation the 14th of June prom is the 7th of June um so a lot of things they're doing a sports banquet I believe that's the 13th of June if I recall correctly off the top of my head so that's the things I know about that are going on but unfortunately all the fun things right now the year I'm sure they off senior Awards probably within the next two weeks yeah there's a lot going that's awesome all right and then Camy County School boards I haven't seen much come through that we had
