005perspective in very nice facilities a really neat setup with the two schools within walking distance I I Gat my steps in every day two School and a WWA it's a tremendous setup um and there there's there's great people in in in in the buildings uh and it's it is just um pardon my absence of of $10 words here it's just a neat Community it it really is um I haven't talked to a parent that that wasn't supportive and looking for Solutions I haven't uh I haven't haven't uh walked down the hallway and not seen teachers and kids interacting the way you would want them to uh so you know I I think Mr Lee you got you know a lot a lot to work with here and and I I have seen in my many
006years of administration some really bad Bo of Education uh you guys are really good Bo of education and I need supportive when we need you you steer queer when when when we just need to go set sail and and get and get work done you're always there when when I have a question and and need support with something so um the key to a good board really really is people who just want to do right by the district and don't have hidden agendas and don't have you know things that they want to it's just personal to them and I really truly appreciate uh the work that you guys do I do and we truly appreciate you in for these last few months as well and staying for longer than he never for and you've been
007you've been very nice to work with us well I app he really been amazing I mean when he says that the parents have been supportive it's because of his approach um people feel like they've been heard and that he's listened and that he's also when with a problem he's there to present a solution or or help guide you with a solution um so he's he's really been a great buffer as we move to this next stage I've had a few parents in the last few months even come up to me and savings like they've had to come to you for things and were very they thought it was very nice interaction even if even if it wasn't what they wanted be they it was a good interaction appreciate that thank you what else I have

009upload to the portal this is just to add in that snow day that we just had and obviously it offset some of those trimester dates um and then Age Two is just to approve use of school facility um for Innovative fast pitch at the gym as well as play more Sport and Social Club um the dates are listed there one is softball one is basketball and I have I already have a motion a second any questions yes as far as the day added to the end yes correct okay I believe Pine Hill is doing correctly know something I don't I heard that they're going to be doing the half day before Easter break how will that affect the transportation for over not if overs doing half day that doesn't impact us at all because they're

014for for their parent teacher conferences that were not anticipated f is to approve payment of the bills St and Rebecca reviewed all those during our finance committee meeting D is to approve the December 23 source for teachers listing um if you'll see we have the pay rate and the bill rate what was happening is that some of the staff that were working here from source for teachers ESS they were looking at our agenda and they were like we're not making what we're supposed to be making but we had the bill rate on there as opposed to the pay rate so in order to clarify that we just have both on there now so there shouldn't be any um confusion agents to approve the cafeteria dis for the month of December 2023 in the amount of

016any old business to tend to um new business negotiations as you guys just heard we did approve the um agreement between btaa and the board and at the end of February we will start um negotiations with the principal and supervisors Association so finance committee we just met for that um not too much um budget report was good revenue report all revenues are being received on time no real funding information or concerns at this moment we do have budget preps are kind of starting um so I'm starting to work on that as well as the Retro State figur should be released around February 29th it's supposed to be two days after the budget address which is the 27th it should be live that day but we'll see um that's statute so it should definitely be there
017um and then our budget is due the county office on March 20th for their review our ESA Grant was finally received approval from the county and the state so those reimbursement requests can be submitted and then the S2 funds that we received during Co um they had to be expended by September 30th 20123 so their final performance report is due March 8th so I'll be working on that um Everybody proba reive the ethics disclosure at this point they have to do annually it I you um so hope you guys can get it done ASAP that way I can review them make sure they're good and submit them to the um School ethics commission updated salaries we talked about that they were going to be on the agenda and that I'll be working on retroactive pay
018school bus inspection they March 19th and then I just gave a little shout out to the maintenance and Cal staff for working hard last week with our um weather Mish is it over is it hot and sunny yet um so yeah so that was it for finance committee um School Board I School Board um head Services we didn't have a meeting for January we in February and I did send your information they said oh that's great she's been very active so that's great to hear pel Kim okay we had our monthly meeting the night of our reward meeting really really early um so there wasn't a very large agenda or anything we did vote in our president and our vice president same ones we had last year Marty vett is our president Christine boy is
019our vice president um they were starting the overbook principal interviews the following week I'm hoping we have our board retreat on Saturday morning so I'm hoping maybe to get a little bit more information on that to see if they've narrowed it down how many more how many rounds they have all that because they didn't have a lot of information the time um we approved three new courses for Overbrook music tech one Music Tech 2 video production broadcasting and film creation and then our board retreat on Saturday from 9 11:30 and then um County County School boards they are having a virtual meeting on Thursday February 8th it is their firearm safety report so anybody wants to go just I can send you the email link you guys probably already got as well but um if
