032up the hallway floors at Eisenhower today um so they anticipate having all the hallways completely done by the end of next week which will be nice and this is a really nice floor and hopefully it'll last us fell past the time off here um upgraded EA systems for both schools and the sound system so the gym are also in the works I think the gym sound system that I think they said that they could definitely get that done over the summer so Chuck was working with them we've actually sent vouchers instead of purchase orders at this point as a placeholder for these companies so that way they can start to order the equipment once we've rolled our system we'll send that promise of payment for the purchase order but in the meantime they're able to

036place in two places but they're same restaurant just two different ones and they go there with them and they help them learn to Progressive day and some of them even grow back so but they're doing a really good job over there they're trying to get more businesses involved be able to achieve things so I thought that was pretty interesting um and then that same night we had um overbrook's SP night for older sports teams so we had quite a few Berlin Township kids get awards that night there's really nice City so I thought I'd share that as well [Music] um we're gonna do board interviews for the board member of vacancy my first I did want to um on behalf of the staff launched lunch today everyone in the district on June 6. that was

039just really makes me want to get involved you know to give the bridge the gap between the community and the staff and the students and everybody and just kind of you know do that serving member of the community so what do you see as the role of the School Board number so for the school board members we you know create the policies and procedures um and like I said it's a kind of like a sounding board um for the community to bridge that gap between the staff so we just would create the policies and procedures and then it's the superintendent that would force them and are you aware of the time training commitments and ethics law disclosures required for school board membership and then we have just for one final question uh so some of
