002fee please stand for the pledges i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america to the republic for which it stands our nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice [Music] one quick item um dr gallagher is unfortunately under the weather and not able to be here tonight uh so we need to appoint an acting board secretary uh so mrs terrence nell is here for us to do so um i would entertain a motion from the body to make that appointment for tonight ocean thank you mr powell thank you miss christina can we start with a roll call of the members please mr paul here mr papio miss cazino here miss lima here mr minha here here and i believe we have a forum of members for tonight great uh so in
003brief president's comments um just want to say thank you for everybody who's here i know that uh these are the meetings usually the board members tend to look forward to where we celebrate our students of the month and our staff and administrators of the month so i'm happy to see so many people here um we actually have some really great news i mean usually we don't have as much to share but we actually do have some really good stuff today um so first off i want to recognize dr uh alvin freeman who is going to be our next superintendent uh the board will vote on his contract tonight he's here with his family we're really excited about dr freeman coming into the district he passed a very rigorous process to get to this point we
004have very high hopes for what he's going to be able to accomplish for the district so i just want to say welcome thank you for being here and we're really excited to see that next okay big news number two for anybody who has not read the news um obviously state equalization aid has been a big talking point for the borough for a significant period of time as we've tried to catch up through our funding um this year we were expecting uh to see an increase in that aid but ultimately we were the beneficiaries of a significantly more generous number than we were expecting so uh boundary state aid number went up by about 4.6 million dollars from prior year which is a huge number is going to allow us really to catch up to where
005ultimately we believe we need to be to deliver a high quality education for the town of the community so again very exciting times you'll hear a little bit more about that during the budget presentation which mrs fisher is going to deliver tonight in dr gallagher's place um on another positive note uh we continue to uh revisit negotiations with our teachers union uh their expiring contract at the end of this year is one of the things that i as a priority when i took you know the position in early january we're just at the point now we're about to exchange proposals um so that'll really get things kicked off in earnest and we're hoping that we can make substantive progress towards reaching an agreement over the next few months and the last thing i want to
006do is just give a few quick shout outs our wrestlers ended their winter season we had a few people on the boys team as well as uh lennox rosberg who is a returning state placer and placed again this year uh who achieved some really significant individual accolades um so just want to highlight their performance and again thank them for uh putting out a very positive uh influence into the community into the state at large about bound brook you know our ideals and everything else um and then just looking forward to a few quick fundraisers i know uh we will be having the dodge hall tournament uh later this week and hopefully no board members get hurt in the act because we will have a team of our own entered um and then uh the tricky
007trade that the pto is going to be uh hosting at the end of the week which i believe is sold out but there may be tickets available at the door if they can swim so anybody who's interested um i would encourage you to participate in that as well uh and with that i believe we are going to move on to recognizing our students of the month um so i believe dr s is going to help us with both annex as well as lafayette school tonight dr s congratulations to lamont and excuse me [Music] [Applause] mm-hmm [Applause] she was clapping for herself [Music] lafayette school congratulations to eric elizabeth [Applause] so and hennessey alejandra romigas [Applause] mr edwards okay good evening everyone our first recipient from school leah panetta [Applause] our second recipient i saw him

012planned our first assembly for the students last month mr wesko who was a 1988 us olympian bob member came and gave a presentation during the winter olympics she plans weekly games for the teachers to win prizes some games are what's in the box how many staff share a birthday and if you guess what's in the bag it's yours she's always thinking of ways to help smelly school improve she also speaks italian which helps them translate miss santa serma has been a wonderful addition to team smalls congratulations to mrs sanchez for being the gentleman [Applause] for community middle school mr sanchez hello again the community middle school is proud to recognize mr andy heiser as its gem award assistant for the month of march i've had the pleasure of working with mr heiser for the past
01313 years throughout that time many changes have taken place inside the classroom there was a time when social studies teachers would stand in front of the room and lecture to the group thinking back to my days in school these represented some of the most interesting as well as some of the most boring memories of my childhood today teachers have almost an infinite array of digital materials with high-tech features at their disposal with the click of a mouse of the tap on the promethean board students can be whisked away to far away places and take virtual tours throughout history however one thing in education has remained constant that is the ability of a teacher to be able to connect with students whether lecturing in front of the classroom or taking a digital adventure mr heiser has
014the gift of being able to capture a student's imagination engage their minds and challenge their intellect oftentimes colleagues will ask how do you do it how do you get through to them mr heisner usually responds i don't know we just talk about dead people the truth is there's much more to it than that every year even the most hard-to-reach students come around and work hard in mr heiser's class most leave middle school with stories about their favorite feature mr heiser is that person to so many for no other reason than the simple notion that students know mr heisen really cares about each of them it is not uncommon for mr heiser to stop teaching in the middle of a period and conduct a restorative circle in order to address a concern or discuss a topic
015that is affecting his students [Music] over the years mr heiser has coached high school football and basketball chaperone the seventh grade trip rutgers day trip the rbcc holocaust trip in the eighth grade washington dc trip he's worked on multiple building-based committees district initiatives and basically anything i bring to the table in order to try to make a school a better our school a better place each year mr heiser is asked to be a mentor for new teachers in the district and is a past teacher of the year although his moves on the dance floor have become a bit more rigid over time mr heiser was at the cms dance on friday and will be there in the upcoming spring spring dances several years back mr heiser was instrumental in establishing a collaborative environment where teachers
016would plan and deliver cross-curricular lessons that highlighted the same theme among classrooms mr heiser helped to establish grady level marking period awards that celebrate students effort grit and determination in the classroom these activities are now woven into the fabric of the middle school each year we take a staff picture at cms and remarkably mr heiser finds the same shirt in his closet and make sure he wears although he might not always read the entirety of my emails it goes without saying that mr heisner is the heart and soul of the middle school on behalf of the middle school staff and to quote to quote mrs heiser andrew come get your award [Applause] um [Applause] the high school mr smith unfortunately our men could not be with us this evening but she still deserves the accolades
017of this description so it is with great pride that brownbrook high school recognizes mrs miss emily glauber as the death of the month of march miss glauber is a remarkable teacher who goes above and beyond every week for her students her lessons challenge engage and differentiate for all of her students she recently organized her class of freshmen to read to elementary school students the freshman did an amazing job thanks to ms calabro's dedication and diligence in preparing her class for this initiative she creates a safe working environment for all students and makes sure everyone feels welcome her positivity is felt as soon as kids enter her room and she's always happy to help her fellow teachers wherever she can additionally multiple students feel that ms glauber is their favorite teacher and they feel like they
018can go to her at any time when they are feeling down or in some need of guidance recently mrs albert was asked to help help a student he's helped ease the students nerves about moving into english 2 next year when she has been an esl student for many years ms glauber gave sample assignments and a book to share with the student to give her an idea of what it would be like in a general education english class she's very helpful and understanding he took the time to hear concerns for this for this student as they had some anxiety about the transition next year this was very helpful to assist the student and even though the student hasn't met miss clower yet success is anticipated in her class next year furthermore ms glauber is doing a
019fantastic job with the underclassmen and has been extremely supportive and patient during this transitional year for this particular group her lessons are fun and engaging and her former students always speak very highly of her class miss glauber is both caring and excellent at her craft and this recognition for her hard work is long overdue discovers attentiveness attitude and compassion make her an effective teacher who deserves to be recognized as the gem for the month of march where she is a great example of the kind of teacher that is worthy of this recognition congratulations miss cloud [Applause] and for the central good evening the district would like to recognize kenny synod as the district's gem award recipient kenny is an employee that always goes the extra mile for anyone in the district when i asked a
020few of his colleagues to describe penny they said the following he has gone above and beyond to accommodate special education students by rerouting bus routes so that students would have shorter rides additionally kenny always has a smile on his face and a happy-go-lucky attitude which makes our students with special needs comfortable and want to ride the bus to school kenny is always very positive thoughtful and energetic his commitment to excellence has inspired others he is the kind of person that never says no to any task the vibe that he brings to any room he enters is always full of positivity and motivation kenny is super supportive to all of the employees around him and there is not a single problem out there that he cannot get resolved over the past year kenny has worked through
021many different unpredictable challenging events including such as covid and hurricane ida he made those events feel semi-normal in our district during the pandene pandemic excuse me kenny drove to a local farmer's market once a week to pick up the weekly bread delivery he also assisted in unloading the donation trucks and organizing the groceries he is always ready for all of our district trips and always says yeah this is our time to save the district for contracting out buses for this why spend when we can do it he is always ready to for all of our athletic programs no matter what kind of sport it is or how far the distance he makes sure the students get to their games kenny is never without a positive attitude and always has a smile on his face from
022the beginning kenny always strived to do the best possible job and continues to go above and beyond for our students parents and his co-workers kenny always has the best interest of the students in mind when making decisions he is dedicated patient a team player and caring those are just a few words that describe him thank you kenny for all of your continued dedication to the bound brook school district congratulations and happy very little friday [Applause] yes of course me i like it thanks so much at this time we're gonna take a brief five minute recess anybody who would like to depart at that time before we get down to the normal courses board meeting can feel free to do so thank you so everything earlier stands i'm not trying to give you more jobs i
023understand you're unmuted and you could go from when you were ready we got most of them yes in one second yeah i was totally wrong clearly okay so i'll bring us back to order here at 7 o'clock we're going to move on to agenda item number 2.3 where mrs fisher will take us through uh the first pass of the 2022-23 budget mrs fisher so those of you that know me i often say that i um don't even know how to balance a checkbook but here i am presenting the district budget tonight um so bear with me the first part of the presentation is about how the state of new jersey determines our local budget just to give a little bit of background the second part is more of what i feel a lot more comfortable
024with and talking about what we're actually putting into the budget that you'll be approving on the board to be approving at the end of the month of april um so an adequate budget what is an adequate budget um this just gives some information about how it is determined um the state calculates the local share cost or what is believed to be the local taxing authority um that we would be able to raise and embark for the school's budget so the difference between an adequate budget and the local cost share if one exists is covered by state equalization aid over the past couple of years we have been an underfunded district so it's wonderful to get the news that they're actually pumping more money into our budget moving forward the local fair share um so now
025that the state has figured out what an adequate budget is the next step is to figure out how to pay for it um the state figures out how much the local community is responsible for and how much the state is responsible for and that's the local cost share there are two variables to consider in deriving a local cost share one would be property values and the other is the income of the district's residents the aggregate property value and income of the district are separately multiplied against rate multipliers and i'm hoping that you're understanding this as i'm going through um so the little um sequence there says property value times property rate plus income times income rate divided by two is how they come up with this number and this is very very tiny but will
026also be available on the district website um you can see there what is highlighted is the local fair share um it's 13 million and a bunch of numbers after that i can't read without glasses on and then it says here that the equalization aid i believe that is 22 million roughly um i also yes 22 million 230 2 000 and four dollars so our budget this is how we come up with it our local fair share um expected number is 12 million 800 000 and the expected equalization number is 24 300 uh 320 000. our equalization aid number the money we will receive is 20 360 20 million 366 000 the difference between our expected local fair share and the proposed local fair share equals out to zero the difference between our expected equalization aid
027and our real equalization need is three million three hundred twenty seven thousand uh i'm sorry yeah three million three hundred and twenty seven thousand two hundred fifteen which means that we're still underfunded but we're closing that gap um the structure of the pilot payments is the result of a negotiation between the developer and the municipality only municipalities and counties are entitled to collect their respective portions of pilot payments the municipality collects 95 percent and the county collects 5 school districts are not legally entitled entitled to share in these payments we do have additional pilots coming into the district and we believe this is an area of concern our tax history as you can see going through the years our average tax levy increase per year which is the bottom figure highlighted in blue is a
028negative point eight two percent our five-year tax increase is only that number so this year we reduce the debt service tax to offset the general fund increase so here's the things that we are putting or proposing to put into our budget for the 22-23 school year um first of all they must be aligned to our strategic planning goals these five goals here are what we align all of our initiatives um and decision making into the first one is cultural responsiveness the second is consistency the third is academic achievement the fourth is family and community engagement and the fifth would be social emotional and mental health so what we intend to do um our services to students will remain the same this has not changed for the past several years first of all we look to
029improve our academic and instructional programs we look to decrease student-teacher ratios we look to continue our curricular transformations and updates we're increasing our health and safety measures we're continuing our social and emotional programs we're continuing to expand our mental wellness program we're continuing our in-district counseling model with clinical counselors and we're going to be adopting this year a new math curriculum for grades k-8 all of our curriculum runs on about a five-year cycle so we um continually are looking at new programs and adoptions every roughly five years we are going to continue to increase our instructional instructional capacity um we're going to continue the district status as a high performing district we're going to continue implementing procedures and policies to support the instruction we're going to continue our early reading intervention program um we're increasing
030the support that we have for student learning loss and we're expanding our summer school programs we're hoping through passing this budget that we'll be able to maintain the following on the extended school program for grades one through eight that's our after school program we also have a summer school reading program for grades k and one and we have additional staffing due to student growth so our class size we are considered a high poverty district we run at about a 73 free and reduced lunch rate so class sizes in school districts in which 40 or more of the students are at risk as defined as 260 shall not exceed 21 students in grades kindergarten for grade 3 and 23 students in grades four and five and 24 students in grades six through 12. um we haven't
031been overly successful with keeping these numbers down specifically in grades 7 through 12 our population has continued to grow at those grade levels and our middle school right now the majority of our classes are pushing about 30 students so that's going to be a big factor in some of the positions that we're proposing these are the additional staff that we're proposing and as i said all of these um positions are due to either one an increase in program offerings at the high school level or to an increase in enrollment there are specific positions that i can address if anyone has any questions about them but as you can see there are many that will be built into the new budget if it's approved we do not expect any staff reductions at this time so all
032of our staff that we have budgeted for in the past will remain cost increases that we are facing um we have health care we have um the teachers contract are contractual increases we have workers compensation we have an increase in our special education costs and we have the cost of new staff the maintenance project that's built into this budget is the replacement of the turf at the football field and here is um the base budget you see the number for last year's budget and this year's budget the difference is four million five hundred and eighteen thousand four hundred forty 444 dollars that's a tax decrease of zero and a fund 20 um amount of three million eight hundred and five dollars eight hundred and five thousand and fifty five dollars so you can see the
033difference between last year's budget and this year's budget is just over two million dollars we have the ground lease projects going on right now at smallie this year's payment will be one million two hundred and forty six thousand 558 and the years left we have two years left on that lease things that we're looking for down the road not currently in this budget but things that we have to be prepared for um moving forward lafayette school we've talked about this in the past we are looking to build a cafeteria onto that school we will also need to build additional classrooms we need to replace the lights at the football field and restore the high school bathrooms um the high school boilers also need replacement we are looking to add additional led lighting in some of
034our classrooms and i believe we're currently looking at the hvac project for our elementary buildings and if there's any questions i will try to entertain them sure and anything that we can't answer obviously dr gallagher as you know acting business administrator as well as current superintendent is an integral part of building the budget likely has many of the details that we otherwise wouldn't be seeking um but mrs fisher has been gracious enough to actually deliver the presentation tonight answer any questions that she feel and then anything that we can't we'll obviously combine and address with dr gallagher when he's feeling better so from the members any questions at this time you think i just have a question if you can just collab with you said that last the difference is two million dollars from the
035last year budget to this year meaning you're requesting that's two more now so the budget has increased for this year yes do we know how that calculates to the tax levy so would we be looking at increasing that amongst taxpayers yes so there's not projected to be any increase in the local budget all of the increased budget is expected to be funded by the additional state aid okay so we should be coming out without needing to add that correct okay yes your school district will not be raising your taxes this year to be very clear to the people okay and i know we already talked about this but just to get it on the record so we can get an answer maybe next time um i know that the lafayette cafeteria was it was a
036high priority item for us for quite a while and i was hopeful that we could get it into this budget somehow i'm wondering kind of where that project sits in our list of priorities um if these additional funds of any of it is being kind of earmarked and tucked away so that when i don't know if it could ever happen but if uh building costs come back down to a reasonable level where plywood doesn't cost like 100 a sheet um if that's ever something that's going you know if that's close on the horizon or now it's kind of been pushed back i know we don't have those answers tonight but i just want to get that on the record so we can answer it next time i agree and i think understanding that this is
037one conversation ask questions evaluate priorities or re-evaluate priorities and then make adjustments any other comments or questions i think most of my questions are are more like educational questions not necessarily helpful in this like conversation it's more education for myself to learn how it's how it's evaluated so and always like if it's an instructional or a personal question feel free to reach out okay thank you thank you miss thank you okay so we are now up to committee reports and again one of the things that we've been trying to do as a group is be a little bit more uh diligent and proactive in terms of sharing the reports out from committees uh really in a manner that allows us to share information among the membership um so in that regard we actually have two
038updates this morning i'm gonna ask mike to do both of them uh for the education committee and for the governance committee uh just to go over the uh the things that we discussed earlier this year so mike okay start with the education but actually a lot of it was covered in that presentation so um we talked a lot about the summer programs there were a few listed there but we actually have quite a few things running a lot of support for el um ell students special education students um really kids who you know who are following the red zone so we have a lot of good summer programs coming up um we also talked about all the new positions that were just on that presentation so that was listed there we also have a bunch
039of curriculum writing going on and our staff we've reached out to the staff to write that curriculum we're adding looks like four new ap courses at the high school which is great world history government politics bio and physics in addition to some other things then we have some other curriculum that just needs to be finished or revised but those are the big ones and the last thing and maybe mrs fisher can just um give me a little give a little bit more background is the news life program for newcomers to our district and that's students who are coming here with kind of a limited education i guess we could say correct so students who um are port of entry or immune to the united states that are coming to the district that um have a
040segregation in the time that they've been in the country compared to their educational years for example a student could enter into the district at the high school level of the age of 14 but only have a second or third grade education what happens is we are required to place that student by age not by their educational ability level so currently we have 14 students who are probably expecting that number to go up a little bit at the high school and we're looking for a way to best meet their needs um so we're starting a newcomers program at our high school we will have a teacher and a bilingual counselor devoted to that program and hopefully be able to gain some ground with these students by providing them a full bilingual educational program but also for
041example teaching them mathematics for grades five through eight rather than putting them in an algebra one mathematics class and expecting them to be successful okay i'm sorry by counselor you mean like um i guess just in terms of assisting with the programming not necessarily like a school counselor we are going to hire a bilingual school counselor however um their case will their caseload will be also um this program so they will be assigned to the newcomers in this program for both um individual counseling as well as working with the other counselors for um our spanish speaking population okay so like providing men like some mental health support in addition to the academics yeah as you can imagine students coming here from another country and entering high school with no education they're going to need some
042supports for sure and the only thing if i can add a comment i just want to recognize the fact that the summer program in wallace does seem in-depth and robust really is heavily dependent on the teachers from within our schools you know really coming forward and saying yes i want to be a part of this yes i want to continue on and work towards you know the june july time frame so you know i think the process that mrs fisher walked us through that the administration uses to identify teachers that might be willing to do that make that commitment uh and really have that handshake that says this is how we're going to move forward the fact that we can field as many programs as we have is i think evidence of you know that
043commitment so i just want to highlight that and thank anybody right and those that those of you who aren't aware of the number of programs a good number for sure um and i think that's educated and then moving on to governance um this is definitely not my area of experience we we spent the majority of the time talking about our website update and um i'm going to ask miss casino to really speak to that because she has a lot more experience in that area than i do sure so i had the privilege of sitting in a meeting with the vendors that are working on our site right now they've put together what looks like a beautiful homepage and some structure our next steps on that are going to be talking through site map we want
044to see exactly how large the site is what the back end uh technology is gonna be and how do we enhance this to make sure it's secure it's safe it's usable it's ada compliant things like that so hopefully in the next couple of weeks we'll have another sit down with them we'll get a strict timeline of when we're going to see the next steps of this how we're going to implement the creative into the site and some of those technological kind of issues so we'll keep you posted and that was a whole governance meeting honestly any questions from the members regarding the committee reports the server programs are from july from june so it's just for one month okay hearing no other comments we are up to uh open forum for the public for agenda
045items online so first i'll see if there's any anyone from the room who wants to speak don't all run up at once okay we did have one comment coming from online uh which was from uh mr paxson uh and he's sorry let me get this right i did i apologize so this is in relation to agenda item 6.6 which is an employment related item the question was with regard to what step is the person being hired on and that wasn't actually explicitly listed in the agenda but mrs fisher was able to find the answer to that with mrs smells snell's help and the answer is a step b okay so with that we are up to item number five which is approval of the minutes from our last meeting uh so resolve the bamboo board

051and dr gallagher speaking and coming up with that okay so okay so i think uh miss lima's question is more procedural which is is she in a position to vote on it at the table here um prior to having discussed it with her education i'm not sure why she wouldn't be um [Music] it was i don't know if they have questions or you know they have something oh yeah it wouldn't conclude you from still having those discussions with your own board determining at that point whether how you want to vote i mean like i said this is just this board approving you know i'm assuming uh underneath the references of tuition appropriate uh appropriations calculation worksheet so i'm assuming this was the development of the tuition amount based on the state guidelines so this is
052what it's proposed that's basically but i just wonder whether there was has to be any like discussion or if they had questions you know i that's why that's why i think you would have to approve it here and also approve it there right there will be a period of discussion with that board it has to be approved [Music] any other comments or questions i just have a comment on 10-5 i know we had um brought up an issue with the cafeteria and the lunches on a previous meeting i just wondered if there was any um follow-up with that or if you put anything back on we did and so roger mr zepco was the one who raised that issue and had been liaising with dr gallagher i think there's an opportunity so dr gallagher did
053meet to my knowledge with uh the provider who manages all that activity uh went through the concerns with them and was reassured that it'll be addressed uh i think there is an opportunity for us to do more as a body we choose okay right so if we want to become more involved in that conversation we can my suggestion would be that rather than trying to discuss that in open session uh with dr gallagher not president right we refer to our operations committee um and we can uh further discuss that you know at that time okay and again just like with any other committee meetings obviously we have to be mindful uh that if we're going to hit a forum that we advertise appropriately but anybody who wants to participate in the meeting from the board
054members is more than welcome okay so if we have more interest than just the people who are assigned to that committee let me know let mike know and we'll make sure that everybody has an opportunity okay thank you the last thing 1014 just say uh thank you for the donation as well absolutely it's amazing it feels like almost every meeting there's another donation always yeah so i'm very thankful for all of that and then on the the hvac project again you know with dr gallagher not being sure he would mention this but you know the idea that building and materials costs are still significantly higher than we would have expected so even though that project went out to bid with some realistic expectations none of the bids that we got back met those specifications so
055you know the motion around here would be to reject them and then we can revisit whether or not we're going to follow or respect the contracts or move forward any other comments or questions okay can we have a roll call please mr bell yes mrs yes miss lima yes mr minhas yes miss mussen yes mr januzzi yes okay we are up to other matters to come before the board and new business uh so i didn't receive any comments in advance but i do think this is the opportunity for us on each agenda uh to think about anything that either wasn't part of regular business or merits discussion um so i'm not sure if anybody has anything they want to raise now um if not maybe we can just say a few words about maybe the
056format of our meetings going forward and have you know a quick debate about how everybody feels about that so before we get deeper into arrival is there anything anybody would like to bring up all right so then briefly and you know this is something that actually came out of some of the new board member training that i attended lisa participated in that was through njsba um but really the idea that you know some of our meetings we move through actually all of our meetings we move through are based on a single agenda format i think it's specifying our policies by laws really it's structured around us doing business right so the a's and the mains and moving peaks forward i think to a certain extent that's necessary uh maybe to some degree every time we
057meet in public certainly so that we can keep the administrative team moving forward as they need to move forward but i also think that there are times and opportunities where we could be discussing more at the table um whether it's priorities for the budget whether it's reconciliations of our strategic plan whether it's key issues that are affecting um one or more of our our building level operations uh and i just think that it would be healthy for us to inject some of that conversation into these meetings on a wall forward basis um so i would just take any comments feedback that you guys have along the way um and then it's something that i would probably uh reach out to gwen and see if uh she was willing to give us some either advice or
058suggestions on how we measure what's out there right what structures i mean i i think it's a good idea for honestly for the public to see a little bit more back and forth from us to hear a little bit more of what we're thinking i know that for us can be a little uh intimidating at times to do do those things in public but i i do think you know most of us here who joined the board did so with a goal of more transparency and i know that the people the public is looking for that as well so if they were to see a little bit more of our discourse i think that would be really a really good idea and go a long way again i agree with that definitely and there's a
059learning curve to being a board member you don't know what you don't know until you don't know it and so just hearing conversations hearing discussions is very helpful to new board members i think this is the first step honestly and i know you're talking about a whole possibly a structure change but the first step that we have taken and should continue to go forward with is is more in-depth uh committee reports and then following them hopefully a little bit of discussion after the fact you know if if it's warranted of course you know i think that's kind of the beginnings of an a more open discussion and then we'll see we'll see if there is a structure that fits what we need right we don't know what's out there it doesn't have to be anything
060dramatic at first right okay any other thoughts or comments on that obviously not something that we need to decide tonight but you know something that i feel passionate we should start moving that direction so you know with your support i'll research some ideas get some feedback and then we'll talk about it here in public there you go all right okay um so at this point we are up to 13.1 which is now open to the public for general discussion so again i'll start with anybody from the floor in the room see if there are any comments before we take questions from online all right so uh we did get one comment from the public this is actually addressed to dr freeman it's from our bbea uh leader which is ewan paxson uh i'll just read
061it out for your benefit it says hello dr freeman while i could not be president tonight i wanted to welcome you to bound brook and look forward to meeting with you very soon [Music] very good okay we are up to item number 14.1 which is a move into executive session this will be under items number one and three they have a motion all right before we is there anything besides hips tonight there is not but the no okay go ahead but we will have to come back to session two well my question was we don't even have unless people have questions about the hip we don't have to go to executive we only go that people need to discuss them we can avoid the whole the void we can bypass that unless people have questions
062time saved will we have a quorum if either abstains from uh 16 point 16.2 she would end up staying from the middle of the tree is there anybody who would like to go into executive decisions and don't take what they said you know you you want to go and i don't want to put everyone but i according to high school which is why i didn't i would have seen from it okay but that was just because i didn't and the other thing that we could do is go into executive and allow you some time again the majority of you are yeah right okay so then we are going to move to go into executive session under items number one and three have a motion motion thank you mr ball a second thank you miss muss
