now on that committee. So, apologies, Mrs. Baldino. Um, we should be invited to all future meetings, of course. And then from the administration, we had Diane and uh Stacy there. Uh, we briefly touched on follow-up topics from the last meeting, including um the grading uh policies for advanced math or other advanced classes. At this point in time, uh curriculum curriculums and programs will be taking that over. Uh we don't think there's anything that needs to necessarily be put in policy, but if there is, we'll uh wait for uh curriculums and programs to inform us of that. Next, we talked about the uh the lunch um point of sales system. U Mrs. Pstra working with the vendor uh Tabitha um has created a number of questions uh that we're going to send out to parents about

the uh efficiency and any desired change that they might have, a little bit of an understanding about the the launch program uh and how that's working in terms of budgeting. And so we expect that to uh to be sent out. And then we had a number of uh policies that are going to go for first reading tonight that came out in late December uh from Strauss SMA in their alert number 236. Just a a brief review on that. Um the majority of that uh 236 was the freedom to read act which we have already uh gotten ahead of and and passed those in anticipation of PSAC and just trying to uh stay on top of those. But there were some changes uh with our uh policies pertaining to sexual harassment. So we are abolishing our

um previous sexual harassment uh policies which separated uh teachers from staff. Uh the reason for that is um we need to make sure that the new policy finally uh incorporates all the title n federal regulations. And in cases where there's um uh a determination between whether it's title seven and title nine, uh it requires the more strict title nine regulations to be applied. So that policy uh is unified now uh as policy uh number 1552. Uh there was some uh compliance updates just with the most recent statute. So, uh, nepatism, which is, uh, 0142.1, uh, is basically just a rewrite to align with the the current statute. And, uh, the final piece is, um, the CSA and employment. Uh, not a major change from what we currently had. Uh, big change was requiring county superintendent,

um, approval, which we already uh, had implemented. This is a QAC area 3 requirement. So that is um going to be proposed for first reading tonight and uh that is all. >> Great. Thank you. Any questions? >> Um some community stuff. >> Okay. Yeah, that would be great. Yeah, because I know Miss Maldino was still connecting with Mrs. Reed on um on a report anyway. So >> yeah. So we have a lot going on. There's the class parties and everything before the winter break will be February 6th. Um February 5th is a PTO meeting. So at 7 p.m. at night, we have bingo coming up Thursday, January 29th. The sweetheart dance for the girls and their special people are February February 20th. The blazers and bow ties is for sons and their love loved ones

is March 27th. Save the date. And um winter enrichment started this week. So after school activities and then the play is underway um and that will be in March the 19th, 2021st and I think there is an event for the um be March 5th. March 5th. >> So a lot of fun stuff going on. >> How'd that last stance go? No problems. >> Great. I will talk in my Yep. It's in my admin report. Um >> all right. Well, >> yeah, right to it. >> Not to get too ahead. >> Yeah. So, just our appreciation um for everything you do during schoolboard recognition month. Um, we are settling in to routines after a long holiday break. It was a really uh felt long to me. Anyway, um, as as Kristen shared, we're working through midyear benchmarks to assess student progress. Um, our upper grade students really enjoyed the snowball dance on January 9th. Um, it

was the gym was decorated beautifully. The music was great. The kids danced all night. They were just so it was a really lovely evening. Um, so thanks to the PTO and the teacher chaperones for creating that experience for our students as soon as they came back. Uh, winter sports are in full swing. I'd like a motion that the board um approves the policy following policies and regulation for for first reading under C1. However, um I'm sorry for not catching this earlier. We also need to add regulation 1552 and and for abolishment we need to

abolish policy and regulation 3362 and policy and regulation 4352. So I'd like to amend those to C1. And then I'd also like to motion that the board approves the policies under C2 for second reading. All right, I will second that. Mr. >> Mr. Becker. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Hut. >> Yes. >> Mrs. McDavid. >> Yes. >> Mrs. Walsh. >> Yes. >> Mr. Walton. >> Yes. >> Motion pass. >> Uh, Mrs. T, would you do human resources? >> I would like to make a motion that the board passes uh the items under human resources D1 to D9.
