A5 [Music] Yes. [Music] Yes. [Music] to represent so very nicely actually they were pretty happy with their their year over progress they did some resh elementary school their physician so um this thisation the only thing not really that sting not going up year was the I can't remember subject grade so I see one of the members So I [Music] sch [Music] the education that was [Music] there really hasn't been different over here and there's more different stud [Music] the I [Music] was more she more was just a function all these kids trans [Music] is more to So two principles one for the longer grades one for the other she was [Music] Sure um we had a on the 22 virtually uh were pearon from administration mrcker walsh uh chairperson and myself uh we had a

fair of us but a lot of points I'll try quickly go through what was mentioned um a very smooth opening to the school year which always [Music] um the state testing is changing and we still call the but we are using a different company so it's a different test and they are doing just school to kind of get used to the part smaller of October and November and process of preparing for that test we have teachers going on in November So we're going to squeeze that in. But yeah, I'm sure there will be a lot of information coming home to parents and families about that. Um we uh got results from our spring as alive and out next week to families and it will be presented to more and community in our second. we updated

our screening and [Music] um homework and support excuse me um naturally are happening and get started soon. We use title one funding for those programs. Um it has been successful academic intervention and [Music] everyone excited to see the program and we got a lot of causing back on scan changes that happened in 68 which um I personally great ideas and that was myself. Um sometimes you know it takes a lot of thinking and but once you get going it be really helpful um and it also will help students who do go to high school of other schools um have rotating that so a little bit experience with that um the reading intervention are to be piloted use therapy dogs uh once a month um and hearing about how that goes. Mrs. are planning on developing

monthly to continue to the school climate and um the new um reach letters were sent home recently for identified students there will be professional team where they will be uh talking about the assessment practicing all stuff um first is working with to identify a champion dream um and really excited about that partnering with recorders to speak in marriage school communicate and support students through challenge to so thats like a really great program um and there are a ton [Music] that to be you know email social media because it's ch and that's for them to be discussed any questions um I'll read it a little more. So runners are working with BS to identify champions. So if you remember we were awarded that called is to expand our teach prud who have difficulties and gentlemen and

they as part of the brant we ask teachers volunteer champion team the comm now i think that first training is for that small of teachers tomorrow I and then 13 we ST um around the you know the brand val so helping kids who are at risk even our communication with students um you know reaching kids who may be having difficulty so again for us some of our [Music] yeah so I additional and relationship [Music] there was [Music] policy police have tonight there are two things that [Music] finalized [Music] policy the second item is policy [Music] there [Music] as parents I [Music] especially [Music] that there you know very clear [Music] So [Music] m ass of that information how [Music] can I challenge challenge here for it was program that was offered seven prers [Music] and

my understanding all time [Music] students opportunity I guess you their perspective in life others and how you know others challenges might I guess them in life against other so [Music] everybody [Music] kids have that [Music] Yeah. Yes. [Musika] I think [Musika] right I think you know in the day one day event um and our students and our staff beond not to say that didn't happen when it was a but looking at some more longm trying to all of How we have issues and [Musika] you [Musika] so the had a successful [Musika] that always um coming up with creative ideas and the school uh the has couple of bigs coming up the second year of the basketball um and that for 17 and also for the sixth grade is7 the is make sure out and do

that and I realized I miss I don't believe that they have anything I am usually my first so Um but they uh have a website and they have Facebook page we're always reaching out like don't overcall anything about being schedule schedule after schedule for October. Okay. So the has a meeting coming my apologies. I don't know how October 29 October 29 October 29 yes um and you know support families and students of all kinds me [Music] It was so proud I like table for a while my husband I got to super I think the so really usually I go early like last year I was thereor and then so you later experience [Music] all that brings us to your yeah some but I just really want to first thank everybody forb really for school our

staff getting ready our parents getting our kids ready and our kids being soastic school really wonderful year I have um I also want to thank everybody who back school night both of those nights were very well attended um elementary classroom standing room only you know so it's just very very well presented time for us to just have parents because you know in that sense of sharing what our goals are what's happening in our classrooms you know we don't really in that type of forum I really appreciate the efforts that you know our staff preparing and again just having so many parents just so how supped education everybody we have our K8 uh flag raising which our eighters and our partner 11. It's just such a nice way for our younger students to make connection with

students. It's so inspiring to see how our older students take their goal as leaders and take it so seriously and how they see why they come in. So um you know it all kind starts with September again I also want to be together greater on Saturday um so many parents out nice to be able to have conversations with people different settings and you know I really appreciate all we have to support our school valuable partnership as Jul shared we have time coming October uh you see assembly experien to the fire house already going to the library which is great partner our student council will be writing their sending plannings about child and then all that so um really for all of that the new jsla also said Mr. and are going for training it is

a bit of a different type of test different platform the field test will give stake information about how to shape the test and the interesting thing about this next is that it designed to adapted so that students will get questions based on their progress which is different current sla students get basically the we find all students get the same question I want to get those results back but this will be test which is different direction jersey the company that is running test operates about 21 states so they do have experience with this you know type of state testing so we also IL similar it gives you the questions that are based on your responses and you know I think part of the rationaling in this direction is that if you can tailor the question based

on responses a little bit students of that total shutd when they get to question that's tough right so unfortunately you're administering that you know and get question and it's just hard for them and it impcts you know rather than that progressive I guess part of the reasoning and ration for it so itl be interesting to to from what I understand now to high school while but I think is so you share that with me it's not okay [Applause] you know I think I think that's the direction with all of these types of tasks are going you know so you know I think next year year year over year I don't know how what the state is going to give us that last this year next year [Music] Well, I think what result should actually be

more accurate because again you're eliminating did a kid not they didn't know it or because they just kind of gave up on a test at this point and so if if a child goes into it with a good attitude we should be able to get a little bit more I also think what we might see is um you know there are definitely state standards that are easier and harder right so even within the Njsla when you look at analysis of thes you can see like how your kids did on a more difficult standard as opposed to easier standard like a beginning of your standard as opposed to end of standard so they may scale question that way around typical sequence and just maybe do better job of introducing questions for standards which now just [Music]

and bill so language standard grade like identify character and it's uh this deeper characterization 6 7 and so a fourth grader everyone started fourth grade scorization but this student moves up to the fifth period and then move up to the so now you're seeing at the same standard at the same point you can see I guess where each individual student moving where you were only testing that one you could be able to see that this kid would have been able to get all the way to is what I don't know how right we see on it like here's where all your kids get standards but you some kids who were able to go that so you know again they just told us very littleation about what it's actually going to look like except to tell

going to be but they hav So I think it's interact but it will be a few years for [Music] Ja, it's only changing [Music] So see may you get that you know from this test sometimes and and question to um [Music] discussion there are no HIV reports us 782 action [Music] yes [Music] yes yes [Music] Yes. [Music] I thought our kids went to the [Music] so this is I like to perform item uh for message. Sorry. Yes. [Music] C1 C1. [Music] Yeah. Yes. [Music] Yes. [Music] Yes. [Music] Um yeah for that to um be the last uh the minutes of the last meeting to realize [Music] I'll make a motion the board of education authorized of September 2025 and then the secretary authorized to draw of the treasure total of 21,2209. [Music] Yes. [Music] Yes.

sessions. Thank you
