I appreciate her leadership in her short time here, but she has taken on many tasks and put them at the heart of operations, and I am truly excited and ecstatic to be able to work with her. Thank you for bringing your knowledge to Bellflower and welcome. Thank you Dr. Simon, board members, cabinet members. I think this is

a very exciting moment for me. I hope to work with everyone and learn why Belf is so unique and so great. Thank you for the opportunity. If possible, we could take a picture with them, please. Mr. Chairman of the Board, I want to report that the Los Angeles County Office of Education has met the requirement for quarterly reporting for the 2026 school year under the Williams legislation. Several key areas of efficiency, instructional materials, facilities, and accuracy are included in the SARC school accountability report, and this includes student and teacher vacancies. No site visits were conducted, and in relation to SARC verification, teacher assignments and the annual report will be included. Additionally, there were no uniform complaints received or reported in any of these areas. Thank you. Thank you, Dr. Simon. The Board has some updates

from the AdHW committees. Yes, President Garc, I have two, and the climate and culture. We meet, we look at data, we extract data to continue working with the strategic plan. At CAPS we have our awards and ceremony on May 20th and we are recognizing a little over 150 students for their completion of pathways and things of that sort of thing . AI committee, we talked about a meeting, we can schedule one in the community very soon, first this one, hopefully. I also want to report to the security committee; I would like to say that the security committee and its members were able to be introduced to Mr. Shan Palos. Welcome back. I believe it will help us continue the incredible work we are doing in the district on these issues. We reviewed the workplace violence

report . This is it, that report is on our district's website . If anyone is interested in looking at it, reviewing it, or going over it, it's already on our website. Let's talk about graduation ceremonies and the preparations for them. We are, well , eagerly awaiting the graduations and we'll review. Well, there was an updated presentation in the first year of the electronic cigarette detection system, removing what works, what doesn't, and what does n't work, uh, collecting the data, understanding how it's used, how to train. Uh, that's going to be reviewed by, or rather, by our security team. And there was also a presentation on the topic of threat assessments and protocols, potential threats. We have a finalized report, a system, a data collection system, the type of threats, including questions about management, who was

involved? The question type is a living document that is already in use and is being modified. This is not finalized, it is on the table and it does meet the needs of our school facilities. That's it for our next meeting. Dr. Smith, our next meeting is not scheduled yet. Yes, because of the graduation, that's right. Ah, end of the school year and summer. We will work on new dates before the start of the new school year. I know I missed that in my notes, and that's all. If I may add something, board member Centron covered the meeting very well, but one thing is that in that committee meeting, if the recommendations can be sent to the entire board of education because we don't want a presentation at every board meeting because it takes up a

lot of time. This, I believe, is the data on electronic cigarettes, and these reports can be sent to the entire Board of Education so that everyone is up-to-date and we can proceed on these issues. It would be great if we did that. Thank you, members of the Board of Education. Tonight we have asked to discuss topics that are not on the agenda. We want the public to know that the Board and the superintendent will listen very carefully to public comments, but we will not be giving answers during the meeting. Your representative or someone designated by you will contact the community member to discuss the matter, although these are not public sessions, they are open to the public. Our boards of education have 3 minutes to address the board of education and the board will limit

the total time to 21 minutes for public input, as per bylaw 93.2, unless the board makes an exception. John Paul Dreer, please come to the podium. John Paul Dreer, this class of 1980 from Bellflower High School. I attended the Mirror May night at Belf center with Dr. Simon's teacher appreciation program. Thanks to the committee member who organized that. I believe more people should be valued as employees. These are out of sight because they lack representation to negotiate with the education board or the administration. Some of my neighbors are substitute teachers in the district, and also secretaries, janitors, and in some districts, they are not allowed to be represented by unions, but some districts, like the Los Angeles district where I worked, allow substitutes to be given the rights to have their contract negotiated with the

union. And to provide them with benefits if they work 100 days, this retirement, pension, is given to them. After 22 years he retired and received health care benefits. I believe we should appreciate these unsung heroes. They don't receive a raise, they don't have negotiations for a raise like the other groups, they're not formalized, sometimes we forget about them and we've created levels where they receive more education, more years of service, these part-time teachers can receive raises in that way and similar to a full-time teacher. I want us to balance the year and the 3-year budget, thinking about substitute employees in the classified and certified areas to show more appreciation for them with the 6% cost of living increase last month and inflation. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Jer. Amanda Yala, please come to the podium.

Hello, good afternoon. I've never done this before, I'm sorry my family and I have had a very long day, although I'm glad to be here, maybe it doesn't look like it and thank you for acknowledging. My name is Amanda Yala, I am a mother of two children who attend Steven Foster. This is part of the changes to the vice president's position as assistant director to Ms. Jackson. I don't know why, but if we know Dr. Jackson and you understand my reason for being here. Some of you have seen my posts on Facebook. I recently expressed my concerns about this change and the change it will have on me, my children, and many others. as a mother of a student with special needs. I am very concerned about this change, not because of other changes, because

others may not be as qualified as Ms. Jackson, but making this drastic change of not just one director for both was perhaps very detrimental. to my child. There have been many days when Mrs. Jackson was able to make a safe place and make my child feel very comfortable so he can learn and grow, removing her and her supports. Perhaps I will evaluate the school's decisions because it will be the first director in less than 10 years, and perhaps I will also have to look for other options that support our students, especially those in the early stages of life, or perhaps home studios to ensure their routine. And I am asking you, as a mother who wants to keep her students, to re- evaluate the changes that need to be made . Thank you for your

time. Thanks to Mrs. Yala. Can we put the clock on the screen? OK thanks. Now we can have Amy Mustafa step forward to the podium. Thank you, Mr. President. Carsa, board members, Dr. Simen, cabinet, colleagues and the community. I am here today because I am concerned about the district's approach to negotiating with the Belfower Teachers Association. As the school year comes to a close, BTA came to the negotiating table prepared, organized, and ready to negotiate. In good faith, we expected the same level of preparation and commitment from the district. The first May negotiation date was cancelled because the district was not ready to give a counterproposal on wages. This sends a discouraging message to educators who spend the school year supporting students, pushing them to their limits, and showing up every day for the students.

Teachers deserve more than delays and delaying tactics. We deserve respect and serious involvement at the negotiating table. The facts are clear. The increase in the cost of adjusting the cost of living to adjust for inflation is not an increase. Furthermore, the current figures show that 50 million was budgeted for health insurance, but only 45 million was spent. This tells us that there are 5 million extra in the budget. Yes, resources are available. The question is not whether the money exists, whether the district is willing to prioritize classrooms and the people who make students learn, but whether that is possible. We continue to hear about valuing students and academic achievements. Teachers are the foundation of that foundation. This community expects better, educators expect better. We ask the district to stop procrastinating, to come to the table

prepared, and to make meaningful proposals that reflect the dedication of Bellflower's teachers and the needs of the students. The school year is almost over. Students, families, and educators deserve a resolution that demonstrates respect, urgency, and a genuine commitment to public education. Thank you. Thank you, Mrs. Mustafa. Do we have any plans to remove the consent agenda from the order? I have an 11. point 17.17 correct yes please. I have some 11, 13, 11, 14, 17, and I think that's all. Anyone else? I have a motion. Approve the consent agenda minus 11.13 11.14 11.17 17. You have that motion. One second. We need to take attendance. Chevique member, yes. Mrs. Armstrong, yes. Mrs. Stuart. Yes. Miss Cintran, yes. Mr. Critfield, yes. Mr. Garcia, yes. The first topic is 11.13. Thank you, Mr. President. Remove this question.

I believe this policy is more aligned with state policy, increasing the inventory tracking point from 500 to 100. I know that the policy also dictates that, in the way we have to take inventory, we have an analyst and every two years we do an office audit. I just wanted to make sure that with this we make the annual list and when we do a physical inventory of all our assets. If we do the annual list of what the auditor comes to review, we haven't had a physical inventory since I've been here and we're trying to schedule one. Currently, more than two have passed, that happens. We spoke with the auditors about the numbers and they have seen the documents, and that's why we are trying to schedule one right now. We want to ensure that

as the limits on these things increase, we need to have more... we need to monitor it more closely. I don't want to change the policy, but I do want to make sure we're keeping an eye on things . It's similar when things that are recycled or sent to the subsidy are not on the list. What's missing is the original price because or the cost that it has depreciated for, for an idea that many of these are recurring purchases. I think that the information is to know and I want to request when we send that to the auction. I want to see the quantity or the things we recycle or are going to throw away compared to how much we're recovering from auctions, because I assume it's a very small part of what we're getting back

when we sell them at auction. Last year we collected $1,000 from the auction and also $2,700 worth of electronic waste. Yes, these lists are indeed documenting things that are quite old. Yes, I know you're familiar with the technology; you'll see they've reviewed the process. We're going to investigate what information we can provide you in these lists, if there are certain things that are causing us to not be contributing to the price decrease. But thank you. Any other questions or comments? I have a motion to approve this item. One motion, one second. We need to take attendance . Chevique Member. Yes. Mrs. Armstrong, yes. Mrs. Stuart, yes. Mrs. Centron, yes. Mr. Crisfield, yes. Mrs. Garcés, yes. The following topic has been withheld. 11.14. Does the board have any questions? Yes, first of all, thank you for

all the work you've done with transportation. We see that we just hired a truck driver. I know we're working very hard on that, but with the transportation policy, I know it's difficult. I've expanded the physical map of where the schools are. I know there's a way the system can find this information. I know I've seen one before when it's about tracking how they designate their schools and how that would affect these maps, because I wouldn't want to see it disproportionately affect certain communities. which would be important to approve this type of change. Vice President Cratfield is referring to the map to locate the schools. I do n't believe in Spanish as part of the process we have tried our we are trying to have a map available so that students can look for their schools,

but I think it will delay that because there is no map of the miles of distance. I 'm trying. I've never seen anything like them being assigned a school. It is because of the distance in miles to that school. When someone moves to an area, we tell them, "This is your assigned school," or we tell them, "It's a main street, like the trustee maps. We kind of adjust it to the population when it changes, or it's like a mile, a mile and a half distance so we know they're within the boundaries when they create these. And I don't know how long ago they did those; I worked in a previous district that had to redraw the boundaries. Obviously, we want students to be closer to those school sites, so we created that map. So, a

lot of times, if we use main streets or something that you can designate in my neighborhood, one side of the street goes to one school, but the other side goes to another elementary school. There are like certain lines that are designated as boundaries, but I don't know if they 're specifically developed with miles or walking distance to the schools, but obviously they're developed to be closer to those schools. It's like our trustee maps; at some point, they did research, a The study aims to ensure that schools have some kind of proportionality, similar to what we did with electoral maps when discussing the impact of transportation or enrollment in general. If we update our studies of where families are located, where the most populated and densely populated areas are, that should be part of the master

plan for school facilities. This should show where students live in proximity to different schools. This touches on the transportation issue because I don't know if a site has a map showing a distance of three kilometers; that school will be more impacted by transportation, while other school sites will be more densely populated. I don't know if an updated map exists, or if one already does because that's probably what they put in the system. If we can find that, it would be great. Yes, we have a map, but I know the PO is working on a school locator. When parents enter their addresses, it will tell them which school should be located there. That will be ready. We had some minor problems in two weeks , but we are using an artificial intelligence system, and that will

be ready in two weeks. It will be able to visualize where the schools are. the boundaries of that school, or they're going to have to enter a lot of addresses and do a calculation. I'm not sure, but I will ask the PIO and I 'll give them that information. Let's wait until tomorrow to be clear on whether the school locator has the boundaries. That's the question. It needs to be like a map of the trustees, for example, showing the boundary. Of course, if you live in this area, this is going to be your assigned school. I think it should be something we investigate in demographic studies to see if the assigned schools are in good proportions. If in the future we're talking about the possibility of making more transportation changes or if we have to

close schools in the future, we need to have that information on how we divide things in our district. I think it's a study worth having and it's going to give us a lot of information on how to make informed decisions, which we 're not thinking about right now. Thank you. Any other questions or comments? Well, Marina, well, I was talking to KCHF, if you enter an address, it It says where they are; it seems there must be boundaries already created so the system knows where that address falls. I wonder if those boundaries can be created. I don't know if he understands me. Any other questions? Comment. Well, I have a motion to approve this item. I second the motion . Uh, I vote, please. Student Member Chavique, yes. Mr. Armstrong, yes. Mr. Stuart, yes. Mr.

Cintrón, yes. Mr. Kfield, no. Mr. Garza, yes. 7.11.17. Does the board have any comments, any questions? I have a few. My first question is on the last page, number 11. I think some community members were a little confused because it says 29 million dollars. This is for the goalposts for the school field; I don't know, it wasn't 29 million, it doesn't state the total amount. So the goalposts were 51,000, sorry, 59,000 sounds much better. It's that math I did in my head before saying million. That's the first thing I wanted to clarify. Second, you already know where I'm going with this, but looking at the budgets, since we haven't seen the budget in detail, I think it's $628,000 to capture the hearts of the students. I like the program; I didn't know how much it

cost as a teacher, but sadly, the student body didn't even know what it was. Teachers have said, we can do most of this on our own, $628,000 in view of our budget. I would say we should... uh... get to the point. I don't know if I would vote. Uh, I think I would vote no for that contract right now . Yes, I want to share that the capture the hearts of the students program... we're using funds from a one-time, global block that we're going to use to pay for that. I understand, but I'm wondering if we can use one-time funding for other things. We haven't talked about that. I like the capture the hearts of the students program, but looking at the budgets, negotiations, all the different things that... well... Where are the surveys? Where

are the surveys we requested from teachers who use this type of program? Or was I expecting teacher surveys about the products, things they use? I don't have all that information to be able to approve something so highly, given what's happening now. I appreciate that, and yes, we do have the surveys; we're completing the report for you. The "Capture Students' Hearts" program came out as one of the highest in the survey we conducted. That's why we decided on it and used lump-sum funding. In the past, we've wanted to do lump-sum funding, and we didn't follow up. It's a problem we want to rectify. This is the second round. There isn't a third round for that program. This includes traction visits so the sites can get advice on the online version. So next year, when that lump-sum

funding is no longer available, we wo n't be doing the full site training anymore, just so you know why it's so highly rated. It's not that I want to give you more work, but there's a way to reference it because I don't know what constitutes funding and what doesn't, given this list of contracts. I understand, I've been involved with PDS, I like the program, capturing the hearts of students, but we asked the teachers and told them how much it costs. If they had told me how much it costs, I would have had a better, a different opinion, to be honest. Anyone else have questions or comments? Yes, I have a question about another contract. Um, the community schools contract . Looking at the contract, I see there are no costs. The contract says " services

rendered in sample A." What I see in the sample is a blank piece of paper. Um, I want to understand what the agreement is that we have if we're not giving them anything. They don't say what they give us. I don't understand the purpose of that contract. If you could help me with the information, that would be great . Doctor, I would have to contact her; she's not here today to get more information. Vice President CRF, I believe there are no costs associated with the program because it's a LEICO grant. They offer and give to school districts. I totally understand that there's no cost, but it also doesn't say that we're receiving anything in return. I'm curious, why do we have a contract if there's nothing to agree to? What is the obligation? We sign

our names, a piece of paper, we enter into this contract. But what is our obligation? What is their obligation? What is the agreement? Mr. Kchf, I can answer that. Sometimes these contracts are obtained for legal liability purposes. There are certain changes in legal liability that are made, and that's why Leico enters into contracts with each district, even for services they provide that don't cost anything. Because sometimes they place certain legal responsibilities on the district for certain services they provide, and that's how they can do them free of charge, at no cost. That contract you mentioned, and the description of services to be purchased, is, I believe, in Amendment Number One and Amendment Number Two, which are Memoranda of Understanding, and that's where the terms used in the contract are defined. But if the short answer

to your question is... The reason we entered into these contracts and signed them was that it was part of the district's contract to provide certain services in case certain incidents occur, outlining who is responsible along with our insurance requirements. And thank you, Serga. Well, that helps. So it's more of an extension of legal liability, an agreement like a C &A, things that don't necessarily obligate us to do, but in case there are services we provide, we have the insurance and the legal liability. It's like removing that from the way as an obstacle. That's right. In this legal advice, trying to mitigate legal liability is a balancing act. If you're not spending money on a service, you're probably willing to accept some legal liability so that the cost is covered based on this overall district contract

that protects the district more than the provider. Great, thank you. I'm looking at Amendment One, Amendment Two, and it still doesn't recognize any services or service exchanges. So I imagine the purpose then is Yes, I understand, but if we could ask for perhaps more information, like a more detailed description of the contract, the agreement, the agreement with the county, the schools that we're doing in that program, that would help me. Well, maybe I'm mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Dr. Yo has that information, and she has more information for you that the staff could surely present to you in a memo on Friday. Well, thank you. Those are all my questions. Does anyone else have any comments? Yes, I had a follow-up question for part three above. Mr. Carter, you said that you received the teacher

scheduling data and that you're preparing to present that information. Do you have a timeline of when it's going to happen? Yes, the timeline tells us that in June, to clarify, this... capturing those surveys isn't part of it. We're looking at vendors, platforms, that's part of it, but to capture children's hearts, it's a professional development program that we wanted to provide to all staff, making it a welcome to professional development day . So that's why we used the survey that we sent out... We previously sent information to help with that selection. It had already been indicated some time ago that this was a program that teachers and staff appreciated. It emerged somewhat unexpectedly and was highly valued by teachers, based on the feedback they gave us during those training sessions. Given these two things, and the

role we're trying to play in having this PD (Program for the Development of Children's Snacks), we wanted to present it at this meeting with all the staff. Knowing that we have the funding available so we can have it this year, that was our goal. Any further questions? I have one. Can you tell me how much Level One of the program cost to capture children's snacks? About the same. And where does the funding come from ? Can you tell me? Excuse me, I think the first year it was the Global Learning Recovery Grant, so if that was used the first year, it will also be used the second year. Yes, thank you. No further questions or comments. Well, I have a motion to approve this item. I make the motion, and I second it. 11:17, right?

Yes. I second the motion. I vote, please. Student Member. Yes. Sir, yes. Sir, no. Ms. Sintron, yes. Mr.field, yes. Ms. Garza, yes. Let's move on to board communications, board members. We'll start with Student Member Chapique. Well, tonight I don't have much to say, except that I just want to acknowledge our AAP students, regardless of the school, whichever school you're at, I want to acknowledge the work you do because AAP exams started last week. I had the government exam last week, and many others have taken many other AP classes. I want to acknowledge you for all your work. The season is almost over . Let's finish strong. Thank you, Board Member Chapique, Member Arman, thank you, President Garza. Well, the school year is almost over, and as a teacher, it's kind of funny how the principals

and staff give us all these recognitions at the end of the year, but because I'm a teacher, I want to reflect that... Educators help build the future of a democratic society and strengthen the Republic by educating children holistically—academically, emotionally, and socially. We teachers spend hours planning, organizing, and presenting lessons, giving feedback, and spending our own money on materials. I have boxes at home preparing for my little ones who are about to graduate from school. Teachers inspire and encourage students to grow and mature, and to share what they have learned with others. Educators make a positive impact on their communities and the world. I say this because when I'm reflecting on my own children— I have one of my five children—a teacher spoke to me because she wasn't performing as well as the other teachers, and

her performance didn't match her test scores. That teacher was concerned and told me that she wasn't performing as well as the other teachers, and her test scores didn't match what they told me. I was grateful that that teacher spoke to me about it, and I talked to my daughter, and I never had a The problem started from that point on. That was in early elementary school. I never had any issues with her or what the teachers expected of her. And I have to say, she has been very successful in her career. I'm not going to name names, but she attended Ernie Pile and Baxter. However, I can't leave out the support that teachers receive from principals. I've spoken with other teachers and mentioned that I see principals as if they were my parents. If I

need something, I go to them, and they want me to have a successful program. This is what I'm going to need. This is the support that all teachers need. Our principals are like our spokespeople to the staff to make sure we have what we need. But we are grateful that the teachers have had an impact on all of my children's lives, and I don't want to single one out because there have been five of them. Thank you to all the teachers, all the support staff, and the principals. I do n't want to forget the nurses. I think we had School Nurses Day in May. In the area where I work, at the School, yes, I work with nurses, and my training was with many doctors and nurses for the students I teach. It's important because

the nurses care for all the students, whether their conditions are chronic or acute, whether they're injured or ill. They promote disease prevention and intervene and provide appropriate care for students with physical challenges. All these different parts bring us all together to give the whole child the best care. And finally, I don't want to forget about mental health. If you know me, I talk about mental health all the time. This is Mental Health Awareness Month for everyone. Be kind. You can be strong and confident , but there are many things going on . We have many things to battle with in life, and it's important that you can change yourself. Look inside and evaluate yourself and think of ways you can be a better person. Be considerate of other people and don't take steps to try

to hurt or Hurting other people. If you are that person who wants to harm other people in any way, please seek mental health resources to begin healing, and remember to be kind. I just wanted to say that. I could go on all night, but that's going to be it, and congratulations on the end of the school year. We have many fun activities planned. And I want to stretch myself as much as possible so I can participate in our activities here at Belf, because I have my obligations at my job. But anyway, thank you all for being here. thank you to Members, Members again. Oh, sorry. Thank you, Member Armstrong. Now, Member Steart. Good afternoon. I want to say Happy Teachers' Appreciation Day to all of our teachers and Happy CSA Appreciation Day. On April 29th,

I attended Belf's 75th anniversary celebration with Mrs. Cumings and her team, and the mariachi band was amazing. I was able to visit the classrooms thanks to the student leaders who gave me and my friends a tour. Well, maybe I was able to go to the flight simulator, which is a great opportunity in the aviation career path, and I brought along other alumni, and it was a good experience. I had a lot of fun at that special celebration. On May 7th, I attended the anniversary celebration for the benefit for children. Thank you to Bill C and Victor Sanchez and the staff for dedicating so much time and resources to our students and helping with student health issues. It was a pleasure to meet with my colleagues, and the Vice President of Cratchfield made a really cool

video about the partnership with the organization, highlighting the reason why and its excellent employees who have touched many lives to improve them, and I appreciate what they do. I met with some members of the BTA to hear their concerns about the upcoming school year, staffing, salaries, benefits, administrative changes, and many other things. I realized that I am a board member, and I do n't always agree with the BTA. And I do n't always agree with my district, but I will always be there to listen to the positive aspects and concerns and fight for what I think is right. correctness and respect. On Tuesday, I attended the PTA party. They always have the nicest themes for the celebrations, and they had another very nice one. It was nice to see all the events, the assembly, the

meetings, and how each unit gives back to the families and students throughout the year. And finally, I want to thank Dr. Samen for all her efforts and the staff who have done so. I know that as the ju We demand a lot from her in the educational sector, and we hit the jackpot when we hired her. I hear many good things from parents, partners, the community, employees, and supporters of her leadership. Thank you for leading with experience, kindness, respect, and for collaborating with the school board. Thank you for making students feel heard and for always listening to anyone who wants to talk to you. I know I have 29 years in the education industry, but I recognize that I don't have as much experience as you, and especially not in the way you are a

leader. Thanks a lot . I don't think she'll ever be perfect, but we'll never find anyone better than you with your work ethic and integrity. I think he's doing incredible things. Thanks a lot. And I also realize that technically I may be her boss, but I see her and her cabinet as my partners. I just want to say, technically, thanks to that and that day. And finally, I want to apologize on my part. It seems we've been starting meetings late, and I know people have mentioned that to me, and I'm aware of it. I want you to realize that we can change that in the future. I respect and value the community and time, and I hope we can start on time, and if we have to go into a closed session, we'll take it

from our time and not yours. I wanted to personally apologize because of the late hour at which we started these meetings. Thanks a lot. Thank you, ST member, member of the Sintron Board. A lot has happened in these last few weeks. I think everyone is busy finishing up , wanting to do everything. Congratulations again to everyone who was recognized tonight. All staff, teachers and our classified workers, I am one of them, but what I do from 9 to 5. Thank you for everything you do, I recognize you, I see you. I want to thank the cabinet again. I would like to, well, I have a list of things, the people I've spoken to, things like that, but it all feels like a cloud for me now. I don't know dates and things like that, but

I did attend a community aid program, a charity event. This one, I think, was interesting. I would like to see how much we collaborate and get to know the people who are involved in charity programs. Uh, our legislators, congressmen, senators. It was really cool to be a part of that. I want to say thank you. I admit I'm missing acronyms, it seems. I feel like I'm missing that, I'm missing certain acronyms today or tonight, but I want to acknowledge, to honor the culture. incredibly beautiful. I know our cities are doing a lot of work. I like seeing that. The school community can involve students and introduce them to new cultures. Well, let's finish this up and get ready for graduation. Thank you, Board Member Cintrón, Vice President of Kchfield. Thank you, Madam President. A few

things I attended. I went to the one for Bellflower's 75th anniversary . Thank you, Director Comings, for the great event. It was great to see and hear from alumni who are making a difference in our community. Even Dan Coops, uh, our own Amy Stuart, spoke too, and you can see the family atmosphere, how people are still around and give more to the community. I went to Lindstrom, my daughter showed me everything in her salon. It's always a lot of fun as a parent, and CSG's 50th anniversary was an honor to be a part of that celebration. Thank you Bills 5, Victor Sanchez for the work you do. I hear a lot of things from CF GC, such as how they work with young people on mental health, given that it is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Uh, a lot of things that, well, I made a video about them, we talked quite a bit about removing the stigma from mental health and what it means to normalize people who seek help. Uh, it's important to talk about it. I see a therapist regularly myself, and I love doing it. It's hard to find a therapist sometimes, but there's an app, rula.com I think, that makes it super easy to have someone to talk to, someone who can give you perspective on things. This is one way to get yourself in balance, to balance your day-to-day life, your perspective. It's something really cool. Anyone thinking of doing that should contact someone, seek collaboration, guidance, and help. Thanks also to our teachers and classified staff, thanks to our staff who have had a very busy year with graduations

and so many events. Thanks for the strong push at the end. I am very confident that we are going to have a very strong finish to this year. Thank you, Vice President Kurtfield. Uh, I was able to attend the C CC awards ceremony at Summerset CFGC High School, a benefit open house for children for Ramona Bexter, LLC, Jefferson Lindströ and Foster Elementary. Thank you, teachers and staff. Our executive cabinet, superintendent, Dr. Simon. I think that now, as I said before, we are already on this path together and we are very encouraged, very excited to see what more we can do

for our communities. It's been a while, I think, I don't know what else to say. Thank you for coming tonight. Thank you for your patience. support to move forward.
