Well, thank you, Madam President. The topics discussed in the closed session were student affairs, litigation, employee discipline, and the appointment of staff to the director. The board of directors took no action during the closed session. Tonight the flag oath will be carried out by the director of ILC, Sanpradas. Thank you for being here. Well, it's a pleasure to carry out the oath of allegiance to the flag. If everyone can stand, please place your right hand over your heart and let us begin the solemn oath to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic which represents one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thanks a lot. We don't have any pages to replace, and we also don't have any amendments to the agenda, so we're going to proceed

with the acknowledgments, right? Tonight we are going to recognize Lina Sandoval from ILC, so we are going to ask Mr. PL to return to emphasize the importance of our student's achievement. Good evening everyone again . San Plates, director at the intensive learning center, Vice President and Vice President Garza, Simen superintendent and cabinet members. Thank you so much for this opportunity. It is a great honor to introduce here our outstanding student, Alina Sandoval. Alina is a remarkable fourth-grade girl , reminding us every day what strength and true leadership look like. She approaches each day with enthusiasm and joy that brightens everyone around her, and obviously she always does her best personally in the classroom and on the playground. She stands out not only for her commitment to learning, but also for always being willing to learn,

always giving her best effort, embracing new opportunities, and encouraging others to do the same. And even more impressive is Alina's kindness . They notice others, lift them up, and treat everyone else with compassion and respect. Her positivity fills her classrooms and hallways, and her colleagues see her as an example of responsibility, excellence, and resilience. She inspires everyone— students and adults alike— to be better, try harder, and believe in ourselves. Please join us in honoring our outstanding student, the excellent Alina Sandoval. A round of applause and obviously the incredible triantes are also a perfect match for the students, the teachers are also exceptional. We also want to honor him for being an exceptional fourth-grade teacher . Mr. Zavala also possesses, and anticipates, excellence; he has a great ability to create genuine and strong relationships with his

students so that each one feels seen, valued, and capable. His classrooms, with their low expectations and intimidating environment, go hand in hand with his guidance, inspiring students to grow academically and personally. Students thrive, take risks, and discover the best in themselves. So here I present to you Mr. Zavala. A round of applause for him. Well done, eh, Director Plades. It is an honor to be here, board members, families, directors, loved ones. Today is the day we honor and recognize a truly incredible student, as Mr. PL said, who is kind, intelligent, works hard on the wave, he is an exceptional student, uh, completely. I'm very happy to be here to celebrate and I'd like to begin. Today we proudly recognize Lina for her academic achievements, her effort, and her willingness to learn. Her perseverance and resilience

are evident every day and she contributes to the school community in many different ways. So, what does it mean to be an outstanding student? This can mean many different things. One of them is an exemplary student and classmate. She is the first student who is ready, she listens attentively, works hard and collaborates with her classmates, she is responsible and can be trusted . And it also creates the living room, a positive place. Every time you enter the classroom, Alina greets you with a smile, offers you help, and helps others in the classroom, her classmates. So we value her for that, for being who she is. Now, being a bilingual scholar is also very important. Bilingual scholars speak and write in two languages, English and Spanish, and it is incredibly difficult, but they learn and think

in two languages. and prosper and work hard. So being a bilingual scholar is a very valuable and very important recognition. I would like to acknowledge that for Lina. Being a critical thinker and solving problems is just as important. One of the things I love is their curiosity to learn new things. When I approach her and try to talk to her, she collaborates, she always welcomes me, she always smiles, she is very receptive to information and she doesn't give up on things that are so difficult, often with such difficult questions, at one point I say, it's difficult, what can I say? What can I do? So I feel inspired and I go to Alina and say, Alina, what do you think of this? How can we solve this problem? What do you think of this situation?

She always shares her ideas and thoughts in the classroom about ideas and the school playground, so she can think critically and solve problems. Having a mind that is open to learning is also very important; it makes us who we are, makes us more resilient, and Alina always does her best, continues working to improve, and doesn't give up when things are difficult. So when I look for inspiration as a teacher, I think of students who are exceptional and have this open mind to learning, and when I see Lina I feel inspired, I am inspired by him. Work ethic and responsibility are also important. We all have different responsibilities. Mornings are sometimes difficult to wake up. We have assignments, we have many different things going on , but Alina is very consistent in turning in her assignments.

We also have Miss Luz, who is an exceptional assistant. I love recognizing her too. Give him a round of applause. So, at the beginning of the year, when I was trying to get to know my students, I met with Miss Luz and we talked and said, "Okay, how can we support Lina? How can we work together?" I couldn't have asked for a better partner, a partner who trusts her, who loves her, who will always be there for her. Uh, so I also feel inspired. Inspired by light, it's incredible to see the relationship they have in the living room. Alina is also always proud of her work. If things are difficult, I say, "Okay, we need to review it a little, what do you think?" And it 's always important to be aware of how to

make improvements, whether in reading, writing, or mathematics. So this growth is very important . Now, his character, this is very important. That's how people perceive us. For the first time, it's important to be kind, respectful, and trustworthy. He is very loyal on the playground and supports his friends very well. I see it a lot in his teammates when they're playing outside or when they're having conversations. So it's important to create strong and positive relationships at school. I have friends from college, high school, and elementary school, and I remember when we were playing in the playground and working in the classroom, and I remember the principals and teachers, so creating strong and positive relationships is important. And I also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the Lina family who are present today. They are here

today for her as well , which shows us a strong bond with her family. A round of applause for the family. Now creativity, positive energy frequently. Maybe we see a standard test and we said, "Ah, Alina passed the spada which is level three, she's seeing well." Those are academic strengths. But the Salina mission is also very artistic when we are carrying out the arts in the hall, combining different colors. When we did the Day of the Dead project, it really stood out with regard to creativity, the ability to see patterns and express oneself artistically. In addition to that, when we're in the classroom, whatever is happening, maybe it's a little joke and everyone else smiles. She's very good at that, at making others laugh, and she has a very positive energy, and this contributes to

having a very positive environment in the classroom . Now, the strength of resilience is also the reason why we are here. It is important to show courage every day at school, to be brave and strong in any challenge we encounter. Today we are here to honor her. I'm a little nervous today, and I know that Alina will also do very well at some point when she might contribute by saying how she feels, but it's important to be open and go through new things. Although it may be difficult, it is important to face these challenges with enthusiasm, courage, and resilience. In conclusion, we are celebrating the line today because it works hard and always tries its best . She is kind, creative, and a very good friend, student, and daughter, and she inspires everyone with her

strength and positivity. I'd like to close this by showing some pieces of art here from the hall. When I was in the classroom and we were talking about celebrating some of our classmates, the students really had to think about the reasons that were important to them . Those are some of the reasons, some of the pieces of art. So, Alina, you are kind, uh , caring, funny , playful, you work very hard, uh, you are supportive, optimistic, responsible, respectful, creative, artistic and you truly deserve this award. Students can also show their love for other students. We have art, paragraphs, and a mind map here because he deserves this, because he's also really cool, he loves recess, he loves cats, and he's responsible. So we've gotten to know each other over the past year, and even

though I've only known Lina for 3 months, I'm going to continue getting to know her and her family. I know that he is destined to do amazing things. It's a very small moment in her career, but I'm very proud. His family is very proud. Her family is also very proud of her, as are her classmates, and we are very happy and honored that Alina is the outstanding student at ILC. Well, we are very proud of Alina for speaking of having courage. She wants to say a few words too, and that's the best part of the show. So go ahead, Alina. I'll stop it . I can. Hello everyone. Thank you so much for being so happy to receive this. I give thanks, thank you very much to my parents and thank you again. for this

opportunity. Can you come in and take a picture, please? The whole family, please. Okay. Next up are the reports from the student representatives Mayer, thank you for being here. Good afternoon, board members, president and Dr. Simon, the superintendent. My name is Ken Vera, obviously, and I will be giving my report at the school board meeting for December. Starting this past November, our ASB gave us the opportunity to attend the CAD conference at the Disneyland hotel in Anahim. The conference is for all ASBS in California to meet and exchange knowledge and what we have learned as an ASB; essentially, it's ways to improve ourselves. We started with a motivational speaker, and they also tested us that way because they put us in a space where we had to get to know each other and interact with

children our age and be in workshops, and it's about trying to come together and keep in mind that we are here to represent our schools and we are here for our schools. We also did that with the president of ASB. She introduced herself to the teachers. She performed at our fall festival and also gave input to the school on how we remember the funds. Ah, I think we raised over $10,000 for our school. Then yes, next up, High School Musical. This was the project we had this semester. It was the biggest one we've had up to this point. We had many people turn up from both students and staff; the staff were so excited to be a part of this as well. Oh, I forgot, I think he's our music teacher. He participated and he

took one of the roles. It was a little weird, but he was chatting. It had the spirit of the chat room, but we had a high school musical moment, we had students from different backgrounds, we had baseball, soccer, basketball, everyone came together to be a part of this and it was an amazing production and I was the administrator of the production and I was in the production and seeing the community and seeing what we were able to build was incredible, it was my favorite production. We have our community work. The canned food campaign ends tomorrow, and last week we delivered about 100 cans, and we hope to receive more in collaboration with the city of Belflower. And these cans obviously go to people in need, and it's an important part of our community work. We

also have our toy drive with Skills USA and my toy drive goes to Millers Hospital. These toys are for the holidays. It's very sad that children are in the hospital, so when we give those toys to those children and serve our community, it's something we appreciate and highlight at our school. And next up are the CF semi-finals. We worked hard, we persevered, we were ready to reach the CF semi-finals, but obviously we lost in the semi-finals. I think in the last quarter the other team was able to score a goal from the field and we couldn't recover, but our football team has worked so hard and improved so much since last year. Last year we weren't good, we lost the Homecoming game. There was something this year that these guys did to improve and get

to that point. We have a lot to be proud of for our football team, especially now with what they were able to achieve. In the final years of school we have our fall assembly and spirit week. It's a stressful part for students, and on behalf of ASB we try to make it more fun, something that isn't so stressful, and we were honored to have organizations on campus that do the same thing. We have a week full of activities. On Monday we have the Delta rally, we're going to declare ornaments. On the 17th we're going to give away bagpipes. We have a wellness activities center. Oh, and they 're also giving away candy. We try to do something for the students so it's not such a difficult week, so they have something to be excited about.

Especially at our school, we wear class colors; it's very thematic. We wear ugly sweaters on Thursday night before fall break, and we wear pajamas. But it's something we do try to do for the students. I think we have our events the week of finals, and in January we have the beginning of the Passf, where we invite all the elementary students to experience their first rally. And it's especially special for me because I'm a senior in high school, and I give away my class colors and my class pride. It gives a positive outlook to those in elementary school who are obviously entering a difficult time in their lives when you go to a bigger school campus with older kids. It's something that we hope adds a level of comfort to the students as they transition from

elementary to middle school. That concludes my report to the board. Thank you so much and I hope to see you next time. Thanks Ken. As a football fan, I agree with everything he said, and now we're on Mayer and Gale Freeman. Thanks Gil. Good afternoon, Superintendent Dr. Simon, President Stuart, board members, district colleagues. This is the December board report, from the 17th. We had a good opportunity to be covered by CBS News. It was very early in the morning. I think we arrived at 6 in the morning, but it was worth it . It started to rain in this photo with the rainbow. It started to rain, but we kept filming and it was a really cool opportunity here. Skills USA was n't going to cover them, but Naman, who is the president of Skills

USA, I think she introduced herself to the reporter and they saw our group. That was a really cool moment, and they also went with different groups on the school campus. University applications have also ended. Here is Zanex, the president of ASB, showing off his white teeth. This is where it ends. There are a few more things to do, but we have high hopes and everyone in the last year of high school is very grateful to finish this and end this season. Unfortunately, if you couldn't attend the band's two concerts, they've already passed. Mayfer has some really amazing concerts on holidays. The choir concert is on December 16th, next Tuesday, if you can come, we have two concerts. It's going to be really cool at the Bellflower Civic Center. We also had the Christmas tree lighting

ceremony. It was a very intimate moment, it wasn't a very big event, but the people who were able to attend ASB were there handing out hot chocolate. We had some student presentations and speakers. Unified basketball. The shift was on the 5th, always a great day every day we have it. We had some cheerleading performances. The games were very intense, but it was an amazing day. The AP students, all the students who passed their exams last year, we celebrated with a certificate and kind words, and it was a morning event and a cheer for them because those tests are very difficult and they work very hard for them. We have some festive event ideas. We're going to have a hot chocolate day, where we give hot chocolate to the seventh graders and they had a blast.

Coco and Cram was today. The Link Crew presented that's when the Link leaders go with the first-year high school students with hot chocolate and help them study and answer any questions they may have and help them with their finals. That was a very nice event and it has also been the spirit of the holidays and it has been nice to see the spirit in the school. The esports turn will be on the 13th this Saturday. The Barcery, the Versy team, has been, I think they will be the champions, against 250 other schools with other teams. That's an incredible thing. A round of applause for them, recognition for them. Superdad. And we still have the choir concert on the 16th, the monthly monsoun, and the finals from the 17th to the 19th. Good luck to everyone.

And the holidays begin on the 22nd. Thank you for letting me speak today, and I hope everyone has a great holiday. I have an announcement that's Ken's birthday. Three. We're going to sing to Ken. Thanks G for singing into the microphone. And from the flowers we have Chusana Torres, welcome back. Okay, I think okay. Good afternoon, President Emy Ste, board members, Dr. Simon, cabinet members, students and teachers. I'm happy to be back for this month's meeting and to share what's been happening at the LS since our last visit this week. On Tuesday, December 9th, we had our and I am two, I am two, the students of IM2, IM2 and IM3, you had to do a synthesis project. They showed you different functions in nature. For example, you can see here one made it like

a highway, another you can see that someone else said it like a waterfall, another a slide that isn't in the taronesa, but they always had their own interpretations of the project, but they all did a very good job. The project challenges students to understand their statements of different functions with precise mathematics in their model. Okay. The high school students had a science fair, their presentations in the cafeteria on November 21st, which demonstrated a variety of their different projects, highlighting their creativity and good presentation skills thanks to Mrs. Moxens in public speaking because as a result they were more confident and we could see the difference in how they presented themselves. Next, SB had Scatterball's turn . Scarball is a bit of a difficult game to describe, I won't , but it 's very similar to

Dodgeball. Everyone had fun, everyone who participated had a great time, we all enjoyed the competition because it got a little tough, but everyone had fun. During the month of activities we had, we also received our results from the CAS Alberto competition, where we performed at the highest level in science and mathematics. Our suspension rate is at its highest, which is chronic absenteeism. And next we have our student of the month and the student-to-student awards. We also have the autumn festival and also no homework night, pajama day and winter break. And the finals will also be next week. Thank you. And that's all. Thank you, Josana. And from Summerset we have Ariana Armenta. Welcome. Good afternoon, presidents, members of the super-board Dr. and I am Ariana Arneta and I am a third-year high school student at

ESP. Thank you for the opportunity to update on the activities happening in Summersep. On Thursday, November 20th, we celebrated our annual turkey day thanks to everyone who was able to participate. The funds raised on turkey day went towards scholarships for senior high school students and the FUDA; the donated food was donated to a food bank. We appreciate your continued support. The students in the orientation class participated in a "by a reality" workshop, sponsored by the Towny Federal Credit Union, where they were given a budget and time to decide how they would spend their money. This teaches them about the cost of goods and services and how to plan according to the lifestyle they want to live in the future. Summerset has used the Thrively platform. This year we started, we do it in the advising

class twice a week to learn about our aspirations, interests and strengths. We also have injuries in accumulating strengths. Student strengths are celebrated by the school staff in different ways. The students' strengths include resilience, flexibility, assertiveness, analytical skills, social skills, athleticism, and creative thinking. Summerset partnered with Seros College to offer three dual enrollment classes. The students have earned university credits this semester and will have the opportunity to take a full semester of business communications next semester. Students taking these classes are working towards obtaining their high school diploma before finishing high school. Next week is going to be the week of spirit. On Monday we're going to put out the holiday pajamas. We're also going to add Christmas or holiday colors. On Wednesday we're holding the orientation barbecue and then we're also going to put on our

ugly Christmas sweaters. We will also have a break on December 22nd and block number five begins on January 6th when we return. The media and digital arts will be held at the Lomich Convention Centre on January 22nd and Mr. Palta will be taking the science students to Newport Landing to go whale watching. Thank you to President Stewart for being the president this past year. We are very grateful for everything you have done for the Belfower school district. Thank you so much, happy holidays and have a good night. Thank you so much, Seesa. As always, we know you have other things to do, like academics and family, so thank you for being here tonight and you may leave. Thank you. So, moving on to our employee representative, we have John Yong from BTA here. Good evening,

President and Vice President Garza and the board and the senior doctor Dr. Simen and her cabinet, colleagues and community members. On behalf of BTA, thank you for the opportunity to provide this report. The association will hold a day of negotiations with the district next month to ensure an effective process. We appreciate the district's continued collaboration as we prepare to carry out this next phase of work under a few different teams that will be arriving. We will also be holding an inaugural retirement planning panel in March at the union office. For those who anticipate retiring in the next 5 years or so, if you want a better understanding of what considerations to make when choosing options and dates that help shape this transition, let's appreciate the partnership of those who are contributing to your experience and

also the already retired teachers of ASP, as they have high- quality guidance as you prepare for this milestone. I also want you to know my appreciation for the constructive conversations that Dora Smith and I had regarding the CTA conferences. We were able to reach a mutual understanding regarding which conferences align in order to advance member salaries. This understanding helps us to have useful consistency in the process and we value the cooperation made from a real-world perspective, as well as a plan to streamline this information for members in the future. Thank you for your time and continued partnership. We do n't have CCA tonight, but we do have the Parent- Teacher Association, the PTA, so Alejandra Cortés, the president, if you can come in. Thanks a lot. So, good night everyone. Good evening, Miss Superior to

all members of the Bust employee community. We will begin the week with the Red Isthmus report . This was the night of recognition. We had all the units there with their presidents, as well as their directors. We also had some of the district office members there, all of whom were on the bus. We tried to get everyone there so we could give them what they felt on the bus. Besides receiving recognition and an award, they also heard about the experience of going from school to school. It's a feeling that can't be put into words because it's a school thing; it's like you're amazed, and then you go back to the bus and talk about it, and then you get to the next school and you're like , "Wow, it just keeps going and going and

going." So, a great experience. I hope everyone can have that experience at least once, but Red Ribbon Week was a great experience. The message was able to spread, and that message will be able to continue for the rest of the year and next year and beyond, almost every day. And we also have Ramona here. Ramona made a day to celebrate the veterans. Then they held this event, the PT also gave them breakfast, they had a ceremony, they brought photos of their loved ones, they gave a few speeches and they also had a kindness day where they painted rocks with motivational things for each one, which they were expected to take home. So this was Ramona's elementary school and then Bell Flower, high school and junior high, had a gingerbread house decorating party and also a

PTA association meeting. So, for formal matters and also for fun, Gram cookies were also a thing . Uh, they also held their PTA Association meeting. It was very successful, with very good attendance. who held raffles, played music, and danced. So it was a very good night. And the events to come. On January 22nd we have the PT's administrative leaders conference. We have already invited the superintendent and she is also spreading the word so that the principals also go with the PT presidents and it will be on January 22nd. And then on Founders Day, the PTA turns 129, so it's our anniversary and it's a big day for us and you're going to see a lot of pictures on social media, especially from schools that are celebrating this day. Therefore, on March 3rd here in the

boardroom, we will be holding an awards night. It's going to be a great night at 6 pm on March 3rd, and happy holidays and thank you very much. Alexandra, quickly, who won? Everyone received an award. There were different titles, and everyone can see them on social media. They all had something different. The truth was individualized. Oh, what were the comments about what happened at school? So in this way the description of the title they won was very individualized to the school, so everyone won. Thank you. Thanks a lot. Moving on to the report from the superintendent, Dr. Simen, thank you President ST, board members, the cabinet, and also the community that is present. Thank you. It's been a month of community celebrations and champion spirit in schools and I'm honored to be able to show

you a glimpse here of the highlights. As student Mayfeld said on November 7th, we were fortunate to have KCAL and CBS News come and they were highlighting the amazing things that are happening at Mayfeld High. The energy on campus was electric with the ASB leaders, esports teams , cheerleaders, their coaches, and administration all coming together to show something, to show their school pride and unity. Thanks also to the communications officer, Esmeralda, and also to the notary or communications assistant for having a very happy day in the field. This left a lasting impression on the students and the entire community. On December 1st and 2nd I also had the pleasure of visiting quite a few of our campuses, including Wilson Elementary, Bellflow Middle and High School, Las Flores and Mayfir Middle and High School. Uh, the

visits always make my day because we have the commitment of the teachers, the curiosity of our students. It was amazing to see Dr. Robinson and her students, and they always welcome me and always want to take a picture, and it just highlights my day. And the great learning that takes place every day, our teachers continue to face challenges and raise scholars to be able to take them to excellence and have an impact on every educator. Thank you so much for being the ones who make a difference in the school. From December 3rd to 5th, he had the privilege of attending the CP conference in Sacramento with our board members. Together we explored thoughts and practices to strengthen equity and success in our district. E Unif Sports Basketball in Mayf won. It was an incredible day

seeing all the teams there, the championship taking place, performing exceptionally. I also took a very early flight to go and cheer on the scholars, and President Steart and member Birch Cckfield also came, and there was a lot of competition and great school spirit, and Mayfir was battling, fighting on the court. Paramount High School and Wilson High School in Long Beach. And the basketball teams competed very, very hard, and the bors too, as far as I understand, they threw cheers which is also very difficult. Yesterday I met with one of the scholars and his name is Bre. She is in her third year at one of the schools to talk about her ideas for having a sports day. Remember we have a forum to talk about the fields in Mayfir and I remember I asked myself

a question and he said, "How can we have a sports day that emphasizes athletics, the competitive spirit, but also brings the community together for a day of sports?" We met there, we also had the floor, she had some very good ideas that she presented to me, she went in front of the screen, she showed me some of her ideas for the PTA president, Miss Cortés, I have to contact you because there are some ideas she has regarding the PTA and the physical education teachers joining together to talk about reality. So it's very exciting when we have those who are advocating and trying to bring about changes and a better experience in the district. So it was incredible and additionally I had the pleasure of attending the Mayfir and Bell Flower instrumental concert. It was number

04016. Uh, the director Odana of the bands. Thank you for the invitation. I was very impressed by all the bands, especially the mariachi band, which closed the show. Also, the singing of our students, almost at a professional level, was incredible when you see it in the audience. He was moving many of the attendees, almost bringing them to tears, wasn't he? And as we begin this holiday season, I want to say to every member of the Belfower community, the teachers, the staff, and the community that supports us so much, that this season brings you peace, restoration, celebration, and that every moment, from the quietest to the loudest laughter, may renew your hope for the coming year. We have so much to be proud of and so much more to be excited about, and I'm excited to

see that we can continue to create happy holidays together. Thank you. Thank you, doctor. Here now also the stabilization of the committees. Does one exist? All I have is that I went to the athletics committee. We simply talked about the next steps for this committee, and one of the things I learned was that next year we have a two-stage league with two divisions. Next year we're going to have a Super League where we'll have three divisions and I think 20 teams in the league in total. So this was something interesting. We also talked about sports in high school and how we can start to make it better for those students to have the extra activities they need. So we've been talking about this and we're working on it. We also talked about student participation. Mayfer's

staff were a little funny. I think we need to stop taking away their phones because the students just want to be at home so they can participate in sporting events. I grew up in a generation where people wanted to go to football matches and wanted Friday nights and wanted to be involved, and they're just not doing it. So we're talking about how we can get more students involved in the activities. And that was pretty much all we talked about in the athletic committee. Moving on to public comments, if we have a request to discuss matters on the public agenda. We will be listening carefully to every comment, but we will not be providing answers during the meeting. The superentity or its representatives will communicate with the father, your author, or a member of the community.

The comment requests follow-up. The meetings are not public meetings, but they are open to the public, but individual speakers may have 3 minutes to speak or present and it will be limited to 21 minutes according to code 9.232, 2 32 unless otherwise agreed by the board of directors. So we have John Pauls, the first ador, I know he has two issues, 10.1 and 14.2, so I don't know if he wants to talk about them at the same time and do it for 6 minutes. It is possible. If I can talk about 14.2 two because ah my presentation is in a different room. Any speaker can speak on any topic, but they have a total of 3 minutes, not per topic. Okay. Then you have 3 minutes. I can talk half my time at 14.2. You

can talk about whatever you want for 3 minutes. I can come twice, one minute half a minute. You have, I'm sorry, you only have 3 minutes. I designed something special to honor President Emy Steart and I believe you have already received it or seen it. I do n't know if you're nodding your head. If it was here, yes, I took it back and I haven't opened it yet, but it wasn't wrapped. I do n't know, I'm confused. I did something special with the Belfare High School colors, because we graduated from Belfare. I met her here 4 years ago in this boardroom and I have been amazed by her enthusiasm for her work and as a board member and as chair of the board she has helped us so much as community members by listening to

and acting on our concerns. One of those things I ca n't find the words for, but you listened to us and presented things instead of just doing it out of thin air. You, you take that action and I thank you so much for that, Amy, and for bringing the graduating students to homecoming and encouraging that, maybe you have n't seen it yet, but you're going to be amazed when you do, but thank you for your service. Next up is Dr. Robinson. Welcome. It's been learned. Okay, great. Leadership is the basics of what it means to be a leader. You just have to be someone other people want to follow. But this is very, very difficult in terms of how it is and how it takes the queens with discipline, compassion, and consistency. You set an

example and the others follow your actions. Being on the board means showing up every week and doing boring work that nobody even knows about. And like ice, we only see the top part of the ice or what we think is success. Few of us know what goes on here, less than the Thursdays who are on the stage and the hours of effort that cannot be seen as a game and a sport. Work is not just work, more than it is just play. It's always something more, someone else, the quiet people who picked up where others left off and the continuation with the people who will come next, who will either advance or destroy the work that has been done so far. The experience of the day or the trip is one of the rewards that

come with the sacrifice and efforts, investments made, but it is also about being the people who deserve the rewards. We either move forward or we stagnate. This is science, but the mystery of the universe is how fewer of us can make a change that can actually change the world. The work you put in, the suffering you endured, and the joy you experienced—it's all worth it, even if it does n't seem like it immediately. I want to remind you tonight that it is worth it and that we are worth it. Being a servant leader is not about being in control, but about taking care of the people under your care. Leadership is seeing those around you rise to the top, and financial figures that you don't control are the value of the district, but at its

core it's about the people and what happens to them in the end and in between. It can be said that hell, that people, work, and what we do makes a difference together with the people, with the work we could have done, the difference we could have made, and for a long time this place has felt like hell. Obviously we can't be foolish like a district, but we have to be brave and live with an abundance mindset. When the profits are not as large or as we anticipate, we take them when they come. We call you our leaders because you come first, sacrifice your time, and make collaborative decisions so that we feel protected. It's the only way we can all move forward. I am so grateful to have them as the board. Before we change

the chairs and change their places and name tags, I want you to reflect on these three things. First and foremost, there is an art and a science. to be an elephant and be a leader in short, but to be an elephant to choose and lead with intention and slowly you, our superintendent and the board of directors are an invisible umbrella, you protect us from what can affect us and we are under your leadership, we will not get higher than you and we only fall if we leave under your protection. And finally, choose one thing first as your priority and let everything else fall where it may . Madam President, this year the thing that should have been the priority of your leadership is filling that seat there. And at least let them forget how important

work is, and especially Mrs. Stuart, the diary of your good intentions from last year. That seat is filled in a good way because you five chose her. That is the achievement of his presidency and a gift that you and in your and all of us are blessed with because the schools do show up and they do sit down and they are observed. You can change the photo, but my children recognize the superintendent here. In the photo I gave her the photos all night, the first night they voted for her, but next year they'll remove the bottom part and put it up for whoever wins next year. Thank you for everything, you five, but especially this year. Thank you Amy for the leadership you have given us. And I do n't have the funds for the

cabinet because we're going to have a conversation in January about a raise. I only have the five of you and the superintendent. And you're going to receive something special, but I do n't want to create any tension. This is for you and you can share it with them. Thank you. Thank you, I appreciate it. Okay, let's move on to the main actions. We have the first provisional, Dr. Simen, President Steart. Right now I want to give it to the CBO, Mrs. Arquez, for a brief presentation. Good afternoon and welcome to everyone here, Chairwoman Stuart and Cabinet Board members, my fellow Superintendent Doora Aon Simon and of course the community in the Board Room. We are very excited that you are here today. I want to review the interim report from 2526, a reminder for those

who don't follow my presentations. The first provisional one is the formal report of the profits, expenses and the balances of the funds compared with the adopted budget. In June we are given the task, or we are always given the task, of developing a budget that will be true for the rest of the year. However , perhaps things change with their personal budgets and we need to reflect as best we can. In December we have the review of the first real one, which is the provisional report that I am here with tonight. The first provisional one is a smaller gathering because we are only in schools for a month or two months. Many of the activities we reported as real up to October 31st have not yet arrived. My tax staff and I are working to

see what we have at the moment and what we have pending, and we will present some changes for the first provisional period. Don't worry, I'll be back in March with the second provisional one that gives us a better outline of the economic situation. They give us information at that point . We already have the registration numbers and attendance reports. Attendance reports are submitted twice a year. One is at the end of December, beginning of January. You can't reflect on the first interim period and then return because I think they haven't seen me to present the real figures in June, the calculated real figures where I think we're going to end up, and in September I'm going to present the final figures again without audits where we're going to fall. I'm going to give you a

few highlights of the district's financial status . The Los Angeles County Department approved the adopted proposal for 2025-2026 and also approved the real ones for 2024-2025 without audit. They sent those to the state for review, but it's a good sign that we submitted both things fairly and precisely with the information we had at that time. The federal government shutdown has caused a delay in federal compliance. Many times in December you may have seen me here with our external auditor giving the 2024-2025 audit report. It is also delayed due to federal compliance and we hope to have that in January. Our enrollment decreased more than we anticipated, with a decrease of 3%. I'm going to talk a little more about that. In the following slides we have experienced a 2% decrease and this came as a

bit of a surprise and we are trying to work on doing certain activities that will improve those numbers. Our percentage of non- duplicated students, which represents our payments from the state of California, is based on the people who attend enrolled and is also based on the student population. We have a percentage of non- duplicated students of 70% of the population that arrives in the free or reduced cost food services to indigent people or in foster homes or English learners. The reason they say there are no duplicates is that they can't count them. Each person who has those three or four qualities, four times we have a population of 70%, and that is a very big factor in our funds. The increasing cost estimates , I haven't left that out of a presentation, and I think

everyone here in the audience has felt the pressures that costs in supplies, services, and utilities are all increasing. It's something we monitor as a district, looking for ways we can improve any of those things, and we're going to continue to do that. Today I'm going to ask the board of directors to certify us as positive. We can make this year's financing and next year's positive certification is the best certification one can have. I promised to talk about enrollment, the decrease in enrollment. This is one of the biggest impacts on our earnings, as well as how we receive our money. And I thought it was prudent to spend more time on the profit side. As I speak, we are often looking at expenses and how we can do something different, but in reality, we are battling

a loss of student population that is quite severe and is very distinct to California and especially to Southern California. I believe I give them the best plans. The best point is that we have had a reduction of 20.2 from 11,671 to 9,314 in the last 7 years. That's what 10 says, and I'm sorry for that mistake. More importantly, and I think this is a very good point, in the last 5 years we have lost 13.14 of our students, and that number tells us quite a lot . When I was planning for this year's budget, I looked at the last few years, at the history of the last few years, and we were decreasing, but we had a little bit of improvement, but this 3% was quite a drop and we are looking at ways to

improve on that. Current projections with these decreases in numbers indicate that we may be at 876 students for the fiscal year 2028-2029. That would be in one year out of 10 that we decreased from 116,671 to 876. The data reflects a downward trend and I hate to do that because this 1% decrease can change, it depends on what the queue is, the cost of living, but I think everyone deserves to have a number or a parameter. Each one is almost a million dollars of funding, and every time we lost that funding in the year, the following year it stays, and then we lower funding based on those numbers. Many of you who have followed education funding know we are paid by attendance, the average daily attendance, and I thought it was very important to teach

this slide. This slide compares the average daily attendance from 2023 to 2028-2029 and reflects on the change in state funds. Those who can see into 2022 and 2023 might immediately say, "Wait, how did they fund the districts with more students attending?" And that was because it was after COVID, the state changed the legislation and allowed us to average 3 years of attendance. So, actually in those years we were having the benefits of the highest attendance in recent years before COVID, and going into this year, in fact, yes, in fact we were being paid for a higher attendance of the student population, but immediately and especially at the beginning of 2024 and 2025 a few things happened, these queues, uh, the costs of income and increases dropped quite a bit with respect to how much the

state is giving us per student. Additionally, the numbers started to shift, and the daily attendance and its average also changed and decreased, but now that's what we're fighting in the district. So this indicates student attrition; funding is decreasing more rapidly. What we want to emphasize is that the district as a whole is looking at ways we can improve attendance and strategies where we can recover attendance, and we also have a strategy to recover enrollment. I know that Dr. Simon already shared this in her follow-up report, and she will continue to share it in the hope that we will have some enrollment and more attendance as a community. The best thing we can do for the district with regard to income is to get students into school. Whether we want them to be healthy when they

go to school. Absolutely, but we need them to go to school. So we're going to talk to the directors and staff about ways we can get this project started. I know we do a lot, but we're going to do more. So, this brings me to the first, uh, provisional summary. I'm going to focus on unrestricted general funds for my portion of the presentation. I really want you to know that obviously the district has additional funds, additional activities that we deal with, but the unrestricted general funds are the largest portion of funding for general operations. This is where I want to spend my time tonight in the presentation, but we have the whole full report of this, uh, interim report. For anyone interested in the additional areas of the district. So the projections decreased in the

funds. The first provisional report shows 39.7 million and we are going to give a little more. It's an improvement to the budget, but what we've done with the remaining 48 million funds has been in different areas, in different components, certain things that the board has committed to regarding the facilities and to take care of the deficit and their expenses and other things that will require, for example, an inventory or cash on hand, the money that we have to keep set aside and the 3% requirement for economic uncertainty. So how does it compare? I told them that we had an improvement in the readiness and post and I wanted to share with you, we improved the income between this first provisional report and the adopted budget. We saw some of the calculations that have more to

do with interest than anything else. We are looking at the money in the bank here. We are anticipating that we will have more money from interest and have also updated the income to reflect this. Regarding expenses. We do two things. In the first interim report, we see the salaries and benefits. That budget scenario where maybe we had some opening or a vacancy that I don't know, it's no longer there, so maybe we budgeted for a position for the whole year, but sometimes this can take a little longer to get or we haven't started yet, so we start to reduce some of these expenses for our salaries. We also see those expenses that are not related to salaries. The largest portion was in those expenses that are not related to salaries. And it was because of

a move due to the Mayfar field project. It was budgeted, and in fact, when we developed the budget in April and May, we intended to start the Mayfir field mainly in July or August, but we actually had some delays, which meant that since we are in October, what we are going to do is take these expenses from this year, remove them from the projections and put them in next year's. And that's where they see most of the changes of about 6.7 million. So, these changes are going to impact the projection of several years of unrestricted general funds . What we have here is a balance of the final funds, I told you 48.44, 2026 projected, 30.23,0000 and 2728 20.24 24 84 million. These are improved figures in the budget because every time we improve a

figure in the year 2025 or 2026, or when we close the books, we have some improvements in the projected year 2026 or 2027, and this effect continues, and I have to share these figures with you today. So speaking of multi-year conceptions, we have staff aligned with, uh, enrollment predictions. Here we have an inclusion of step and column. What it means is that they are still spending, moving on expenses beyond their salaries. And we also have, uh, the unique capital improvements that were significantly reduced, and that's the Mayforder field. We are still waiting for the budget proposed by the governor. We're going to do more of it in January, and we're still a little uncertain about the legislation, the budget, and all of that. So the key risks here in a budget is the cost of

housing. Uh, less than 4.5 doesn't cover the cost of growth. When we lose students and such, we basically lose more revenue to cover the additional costs. These expenses, which we call tail, we have said are 2.6%, then 3.2%, and then 3.6% in 2027-28. We have a projected structured deficit from 2025-26 to 2027-28. As a reminder, 2024-25 was the first year that we actually had deficit spending. So we are looking at the expenses and reductions to these in order to maintain fiscal stability. Finally, I love reminding everyone about the next cycle and where you'll be able to see me again, because I know it's a super exciting show and people love being here to hear it. So, they're leaving now. Okay, they're leaving now, I think. I'm coming back in March, so we'll be back in

January. In fact, with the 202425 audit report , we will also have a disclosure on the governor's budget . We'll be thinking about all this new information. We're going to start preparing in February and March, so we're going to start preparing the budget at the same time in February and March. Let's see things. In March we will present the second professional report as promised. We're going to work with the departments, we're going to gather all the budgets, and then I'll come back in May, especially in June, for some public hearings regarding the CAP budget, the proposed CAP budget, and indeed the actual expenditures or real figures. Thanks to the budget team, which includes Rachel Duke, who is my new chief financial officer, who is a little shy, but she's back there in the audience. So

welcome to the BSUD district and thank you for all your support in this first professional report. Jesús Medina Gracias and Torentina Orellos are very, very helpful in this budget and its process, and thanks to the service team. Without them, the actual figures for payroll accounts payable would not be possible, and they work very hard to get me the figures that I can present to you today. So I am very grateful for my support from the cabinet, from the board, as well as being very grateful for the team I have. So thanks again, and now we have a little time in case there are any questions. Thank you, Miss Arquez. Thank you. This is actually much easier for me to understand. Hey, member Cintrón. First of all, thank you because as a mother and part of

the community and a member of the community, I definitely also have other roles and I truly understand our district and the things that our district is going through. And I have two more questions than anything else. I am inspired by the community to whom we provide our services. Is there any way? I imagine the teachers are going to say, "I knew that." But for those who don't know, is there any way to add money without restrictions? You're talking about adding revenue. Most of our income comes from the state of California. So I talked a lot about the initiative to count the non- duplicated students who already attend school. So, my biggest area where we need to focus our efforts to increase district revenue is getting children into school. In terms of attendance, I think we're

at around 93-something percent before COVID. We're at 95.5% 5% in that range, so there's still work to be done. I know we have the best echoes that are still here because of the COVID era, but having students go to school is very important for what is granted to us by the state. Other income also includes dental income; many of it comes from lottery sales and also depends on the money that banks have. So getting children to school and making that happen for the community here is going to be one of the most important things in any other area, just like looking for other ways. Perhaps a bond increases our capacity to maintain schools, but it doesn't come from general funds, which is an opportunity we have to perhaps work on some of these improvements in

schools without impacting the general, restricted funds. Okay, one more question, uh, why is it so important to see what's projected in the budget? Why did it take until the year 202728? Because it's so important to understand charts and things like that when we're talking about the budget for community members, so that people understand where that money is going and what it will look like in the future. Thanks for asking. It is a very important task that we are actually required to do as part of our reports. For me, having these two additional years is even more important because it's easy to look at a year in itself and see the budget balance we 're trying to have this year and say, well, maybe that's what we can do with this balance we have left. But

I would be surprised if at some point the State didn't ask us to go beyond a 3-year analysis, given the times we are going through now and the budget constructions we are going to have. And it's an important factor because things change year after year. It's important to see beyond the surface as best we can. That's what the finance team does . We look at the estimated attendance figures, the estimated enrollment we have, also the utility bills, and we assume that they will increase by a certain amount. We are taking the contracts we have that are several years long and that will have increases in them. We also take a step-in column for people who are earning different amounts per year. So it's very important that as a community we look at the 3 years

and see it all together, not just focus on the year we are in. Thanks a lot. I'm sure I'll have more follow-up questions, but just in case my colleagues have questions, I want to give them the time. Student member, there are causes or speculation about the decrease in attendance. There are a few things happening, obviously birth rates as part of the process, we see the quantity, uh we can get the data. It's not just something regarding the Belfower district; the state of California has lost the same percentage, in fact a little less than us, for students, but we do have families with three, four, five children. Families are a little different now; maybe they only have two children. This is a big impact on who our communities are reaching. Another way we look at attendance

and registration. We use many theories to understand how we have been, to see how we will be, but also things that we incorporate. That's the cost of community. So, how much does it cost here to buy a home or rent an apartment or live within our community compared to... And I keep talking about the pandemic, but if someone was able to get a virtual job and now they can live in a different part, even if they still want to live in California, but maybe they can buy a house for less money, now they can move their family to a different community where the cost of housing is cheaper and they can still work virtually and maybe they change their job because of that. And we also have some families who, due to the economy, are

perhaps now moving together, but it means that students have to change schools in order to accommodate. So there are many impacts, right?, that we see with respect not only to the past, but to things currently happening in communities that may affect our enrollment. So if you have friends, no more, I don't want other districts to hear this, but tell them how amazing Belfower is, because we want them to come to Belfower, we want them to come to Bf, I mean the Belfower Unified District , but Bellflower, Mayfare, our school systems are fabulous and that's the campaign we're going to run for enrollment. So they're going to have the ability to start watching videos, they're going to start seeing this signage that will be able to tell them to watch this so we can talk about

the new football team and what they've been doing in BF and get these kids to come to the school district here because we have some really great things to offer. Secretary Kchell, thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for all your efforts. What are they putting on this? One question I have is when we met and many of my questions were answered, but I was anticipating seeing even a single slide on the subject of restrictions. I know you want to keep it simple and basic with the unrestricted ones, but we're going to have questions with both the restricted and unrestricted ones. A device. Ah, understood? One question I do have is, I was waiting for a summary of the restrictive, the level of contributions, the 39 million contribution, that comes from the unrestricted side. The contribution

is expenses on the restricted side that exceed the amount of the federal government and comes on the unrestricted side. I don't know if that's what he said, but it comes from the restricted side to the unrestricted side. We have expenses coming from the restricted side and going to the unrestricted side. Those 39 million that it has been in the last 2 years, I think we were around 35 million the year before and I would have to see it to give you the correct answer. It is a two- component system, and it has restricted maintenance. The government requires that we give 3 % of the general funds expenditures to the maintenance department to maintain that, and the remainder is related to the special education population that is under foundation. And the other side is the summary

of restricted, without restrictions. It was for employee benefits, but it's protected at 700. I have a guess as to what that is, but I'm curious what it is. It has to do with the fact that we, with the internal trucks, had an unrestricted change of side. We had a change because we reduced contracts and hired staff. There would be a change in personnel. in two and three classifieds and benefits related to a discount, not equal, but a reduction of the contract. I think we've talked about it before, it's pretty close to being on par, it's a little more expensive to have internal transportation, but it's pretty close. And my last question , looking through the different categories in the budget, adult education, the budget always looks almost empty. Can you explain how we receive funding

for adult education schools? I would say the expenses, but the funding shift changed a few years ago in relation to the state of California providing funding to the districts. and in some cases they were offered to be shared with community colleges. In this case, the level of financing they gave us is the dollar you see, I think it's $9,000. I don't have it on my screen, but frankly, that's the funding we use to provide services to the adult population. Yes, we use additional dollars to fund some of the teachers, and that comes from the general fund to finance the resources we provide for adult education, but I do n't have much information about the expenses in that program . Earnings like 39,000 seems very low. It's not the same as what the students give us;

it's not based on the student population and nothing related to that. That program, perhaps in Friday's memo, can give us more information regarding the budget, and thank you for all your efforts. Thank you. You are welcome. Thank you, Secretary Kitch, Member Armstrong. Thank you, President Stewart. Once again, Mrs. Arques, thank you very much. I like budgeting stuff, that kind of thing. I love it, I love reading that, all these pages and so on. Thank you for answering all my questions in advance. I think I should explain it to the public. Can you foresee any reports that we're going to be at a point of distress just because of our track record? Do you see any reports that we're going to be at a low point in what we're doing, and can you explain that to

me? What are deficit spending? Because that's what they say, but they don't understand what it is. I'm going to start with spending, the question of the deficit, because that will lead to the next question. The deficit spending by a district or public entity means that they are spending more on expenses than they are receiving in profits or income each year. As I said, 2024-25 was the first year we had to spend the deficit, and probably another connection to that is that it will have a fund balance, which is the balance we have in the account, and every time we spend the deficit, the funds for that come from the fund balance so that we can certify this year as positive, and I am positive about the efforts we are making to work on recovering assistance.

and the ways we will work to increase enrollments. Ah, we are very hopeful that we will have better numbers and perhaps a decrease in our deficit spending. We've been certifying for positive results for the last 3 years, but we're using those numbers as a guide to support our next steps and spending pattern so we can improve in any way possible. Thank you, and I hope people understand it a little better. Thank you, member, Vice President Garsa. Thank you, President Sart. My question is, are there options for individual schools to increase their own profits on their school campuses? The profits go into a central fund and when we allocate them to schools we do so based on the population in that school. In some ways we are already going crazy based on the amounts that are

available to them. Of course, each school has a donation account and can receive donations for specific things they want to do among their schools. It's a way of looking at other opportunities, of doing different things they want to have in their schools, but any increase in our overall budget due to those attendance improvements and other improvements will ultimately be reflected in the overall school budget because that's how we allocate resources for them. If there is a school that might be willing to rent out its fenced-in space to a commercial in the community, that would be a possibility for them. That would be one option, and if there are processes in place for principals to submit those requests, we would have to look into establishing a procedure to generate income if they want to put things

on the fences, according to school district guidelines and things like that. But if it's something that interests the schools, we can investigate it and have a procedure that we can consider to have that. OK thanks. That was my question. Thank you, Vice President Car. Any other questions? Okay. I don't hear any motion to approve item 10.1. Second, second. Please take attendance. Chevique student member. Yes. Mrs. Armstrong, yes. Mrs. Centron, yes. Mrs. Garsa. Yes. Mrs. Stuart. Yes, sirfield. Yes. Okay. Continuing with the consent agenda, we have one item to remove from the agenda this afternoon, colleagues. None. Okay. I have a motion to approve the agenda. A motion to approve. One second. Please take attendance. Student member. Tqu. Lady. Yes. Mrs. Cran. Yes, Mr. Kfield. Yes, Mrs. Gar. Yes, Mr. Start. Yes. Okay. Now continue to

the board's reports. Student member. I have quite a few things to report because I wasn't here at the last meeting, so a lot has happened. I want to start by highlighting that I believe on November 13th, Cabs Culinary Arts and Bakery and Pastry invited them to the American Cup of Culinary Excellence at Seros College. It was a cooking competition sponsored by American and Rice Vinegar. I think we had 16 students against one for a cash prize. It was an experience that inspired me a lot. We could see the chefs, talk about their dishes, their inspirations, and they even let us go to the back to see the operations. In short, I was able to talk to one of the winners about their process because they were making brisket in 2 hours, which surprised me because

after hearing about their process and how they basically let it cook in the pot while doing other things, I never expected it, but it shows the level of creativity and I was very grateful that they invited me there to witness something that I am very passionate about. in cooking and I'm grateful that Caps gave us that opportunity. That's something that our representative Kil Freeman almost cornered a little, but yesterday Mayfer Manson, the Smash Team, won the CF preseason. We played against Francho Cucam Manga. Our room, number 718, in the Sim building. It was a close competition, but we won 3 to 2 against them. And I want to give recognition to my team. I was there. There were third-year students of forgiveness, in the second year of high school Jonathan Bruda and Joshona. And in

third year of high school, Junior Darian Heller. without his efforts and his support and without his way of being. I don't think we would have won that game. We have the title for the fall. We want to keep up that pace and continue into spring. Skills USA has recently begun its events. My team recently received our instructions on December 5th for Real News Production. Uh, we want to win the regionals this year and make it to the state level once again. We want to, and will, work during the winter break and afterward, as will our other chapters and departments at Skills USA. And also the last two topics that were about the bathrooms. Obviously I've heard a lot about them. I think a student approached me and asked if I could use it as a

student member. to advocate for having hygiene and feminine products in bathrooms. Obviously I can't say anything about it, but based on his tone and the urgency of what he was telling me, it seems to be a very important situation. I'm going to have to talk about it more with more students to get a better understanding to present at the next meeting. And I gave him the e-cigarette detectors . I want to ask a question. Is Mayer the only school that has those e- cigarette detectors, or are there other schools as well? I think Bellfower Mayf, Dr. Simon. I think Bellflower Mayf. Okay, I want to take a quick picture just to show you, to refresh my memory. On December 3rd, I was coming out of the bathroom and I saw the vape pen detector and

I saw that it came out green. I honestly don't know how they work, so I didn't really know what it meant, but I suppose it detected something, but from there I was anticipating some kind of signal or something like security coming or something, but I didn't see anything. Well, at least for a good while. So I had a chat with one of the security agents a few days ago about how they work, what their purpose is, and the bottom line is that they don't do much; if they detect something, they show the light, but that's basically it. Instead of sending some kind of signal, they send a signal to an office where they tell security to send them to the bathrooms. But what he told me, the truth is, there's nothing to it . In

fact, it seems to attract more people, just by entering on its own instead of using the vape pen detector . But those who were caught faced very few consequences; it was mostly a one-day suspension. Looking back, it's important that students do go to school, but at the same time, there needs to be some kind of consequence for something like this, because we are truly trying to be stricter with vaping or vaping and student behavior. And one of the methods he proposed, which is that if they catch them, they should do scissor jumps, because what some people told me is that they like to hide them, you ca n't search them there without having some legal problems. It's the best way to mention this, but he proposed that they would have to make leaps of faith,

that everything they have would basically fall apart. Then they catch them red-handed, and from there they would have to deal with them properly. So I just think we need to do more, or maybe improve the system we have to give you a little bit more of that. We talked about these safeguards. In fact, when you install them they are installed, but there is a calibration process so that they are not identifying too many things and causing problems. Yes, they are going through the process of collecting data to make sure that they do work well. So they're still being launched. We can have this conversation regarding your concerns and from there we can move on to what's next. Alright? Thank you. That's all for my report. Hey, member of the Cintrón Board. I'll make it quick

and short. Uh, I was able to attend in Sacramento, I was able to go to CB SA and I was able to go last year too. I have to say that I felt like I got more out of this year. Not only was I able to attend workshops specifically for board members, but I also got to learn more about the issues from all over Southern California that have had the same problems, but have also made different recommendations for their own boards. So, we look at each other's ideas and also try to work through the issues that come up. And I honestly thought they were incredible contributions. Some of the workshops I attended—I won't give you my notes—but I was there about the role of the board member in implementing the map for English learners and

what it looks like. I have two pages of all this, and believe it or not, we on the board don't magically know everything, all the bylaws, or even understand how the implementations are carried out, or that a new legislature is even taking place in 2026. So, I really appreciated having all the little details about all this. And again, we also talked about some of the other issues regarding immigration enforcement in schools, what it looks like on a day-to-day basis, and how we can support students, staff, faculty, and families. So being able to speak to a room full of lawyers, superintendents, and other board members, I really think I know we go every year, but there are additional conferences and workshops we can do throughout the year, and I feel very empowered that this time I

went and was able to figure out how to facilitate these conversations around our cabinet as well. So I just want to say happy holidays to everyone, and I know that there is a large percentage in our community who are still afraid to go shopping or buy their Christmas trees or gifts or go to the supermarket for a dinner for their family. I just want you to know that we have n't forgotten you. There are resources in the community that can bring you a tree or give you free gifts for your children so that you don't spend Christmas without presents, and they will also donate a whole meal right to your doorstep. So please reach out to the Bflower community here, but also to the surrounding communities that can give you that at no cost. So

happy holidays, stay safe, and thank you, Board Member Armstrong. Thank you again, President Steart. I went to CSBA too, and thank you so much first of all for being here. I'm also going to keep it short because we have a lot of visitors and I already know why everyone is here, so I know it's not about me, but at least I want you to know what I've been doing. So some of the sessions I went to, I just knew they were going to give me a curriculum for preschoolers, one that says it counts for success in math. And it was a district that was sharing, they were talking about their efforts to bridge the gap between preschool and the third-grade program, and I said, "That's great because, as you know, I'm a preschool teacher, and

we have to do math, and they have to be counting to 100, so I wanted to see if they had anything special about it." And it was really about the teachers doing their part to make sure they prepare the preschoolers for when they do go to transitional kindergarten, to go to the next level, and from there to the next without having to take steps backward. So they talked about this continuum of services to make sure the kids are on the right track to keep moving forward . And I couldn't help but go and check out the governor candidates' forum, so I had to listen to see what they were thinking was important, what they were going to do for the state and for the schools. So, it really got very exciting. We were even making

noises, so we also had a candidates' forum for the state superintendent of instruction. That was good too. It was great to hear about their priorities, their policy goals, their perspective on the challenges we face in public schools, and how they plan to support the governing board and the students, and help us develop ways to strengthen our decision-making and practices. But my favorite session, which I attended because we all love to learn here, and I truly believe we are lifelong learners because we are all teachers here, and that's how it is; we are learning every day. So, my favorite session was on advanced governance, and the key themes were developing clarity about the personal principles, values, and experience that drive leadership practices; learning the connection between emotional intelligence and communication strategies, which create greater clarity; and

how to manage conflict effectively and build trusting relationships. We also discussed exploring decision-making in leadership to improve governance conversations, as we are doing right now. So, that's all. I just wanted to say that I wish everyone a happy holiday season with their families and loved ones. Friends, stay safe and healthy and be vigilant while you're out in the community, and happy holidays. I ca n't sing, I tell you, that's all I can say. That's all. Thank you. Thank you, Member Armstrong. Mr. CRF can, he can sing. In fact, he sings very well. I'm not going to go over so many things because I want us to get started. Besides , I post everything on Instagram anyway, you know what I do, but I will say I hope you have a Merry Christmas and I hope

you get everything that Santa sent you on your list. Thank you, Vice President Garza. Thank you, President. Again, I'm not going to be quick and short either. I also went to many of these same sessions with my colleagues here on the board. It was a lot of fun, actually, I quite enjoyed building new relationships with the new members from other boards in other districts, but also renewing and solidifying the relationships I have here with my colleagues, especially with the superintendent and our executive secretaries and so on. So I really appreciated everyone who attended. And we had a lot of fun, we learned a lot, and we made sure that we also brought and presented information to the cabinet, and now you're going to be able to see it and see what we do with it.

So thank you very much, happy holidays, and I hope everyone takes a two-week vacation and rests. Thank you, this is Garza introducing herself. Me too, for me, you'll understand that I'm also going to keep it short and sweet. On November 14th, I went to the Mayfarrow football game. We played against Colton, and we won 13-12. There were only 40 people there because it was raining the whole time, and we said it was basically a mud puddle, but anyway, it was very good , it was very good. I also went to Santa Pala for the semifinal round of the football game . We lost 7-14, but I'm proud that they went from 0 to 10 and made it through the semifinals of the CF championship, which was a great success for us. On December 1st, I

met with Miss, who is Dr. Silver. to review the professional report and they answered all my questions. So thank you. From December 2nd to 5th . I also went to CS, the annual conference, I also went to the gubernatorial one and I actually had to ask Mr. Cfield what it means, but it's a forum for gubernatorial candidates. Um, also the state superintendents' workshops, I also went to the advanced financial skills workshop and also to the C table because student voices should matter, also evidence-based practices, as well as other sessions. It was great to see the candidates in person and hear their perspectives. Attending workshops that help me be a better member, to build relationships with the Tigers, and to bond with the team was also great, and I enjoyed being in Sacramento with our team.

On December 5th, we got off the plane and headed to the basketball tournament, and our staff did a great job with this program. So thank you. This is just a great emphasis in our district, and I know I'm always talking about attendance drives and all this, and I forget that it's a great program. So I spoke about this last night about Empirem and how we're doing with other districts, and I thought it was great, and I would love to, and I actually spoke to Cunningham at Mayfer so we can expand this to the secondary schools. I feel it would be great, even if it's just a tournament to do for the secondary students, it would be great. And last night I also went to the President's Ceremony, the ceremony for Lisha Salen. I presented her

with a certificate of recognition for our partnership with the Callops and Paramount program, and this morning I was able to meet with a team from Mayfer at my school, St. Boni Secondary. They came to see the Aved in Schools program, and there were about 12 to 15 of them in the group, and it was great to see them seeing things, expanding the learning, and seeing other districts and seeing what they're doing well and what we're doing well and how we can collaborate. So we're doing a really good job of implementing this, of seeing this collaboration as well. Again, have happy holidays, and have a good two weeks off. There are three of them. weeks. And I hope you have a very good holiday break . Questions about the information articles? No, since there are no

questions, let's move on to the recognitions. Doctor, would you like me to start? Would you like to start? Today we're going to recognize one of our Assembly members, Jose Sala. If he can come forward, I have something I'm going to read, and I normally do 18, but I didn't bring my glasses. It is an honor to recognize an extraordinary public servant and a champion of access equity, Assembly Member Jose Luis Selache Jr. Member Selache is not only an advocate for our students and families throughout California, but he is also one of us. He began his public service as a board member for the Linwet District. He moved into a role that required his role, his service, and his sacrifice before we had even thought about public service. He gives us an understanding of what this

job entails and what it means to provide service. With the first AB13, Member SH brought our attention to an easily overlooked issue: compensation and recognition for those who... The trustees of the school board. For 40 years, state laws have failed to fulfill the board's duties of providing budgets, ensuring educational equity, and hiring superintendents. And the trustees have not only been volunteers, we have been dedicated to the cause and to student success, but compensation has been stagnant for many years, and that has meant lost opportunities thanks to Mr. Salache's leadership . E19 offers an important transfer of power and accountability to local boards, especially in low- resource and underserved communities, to moderately increase compensation so that public services remain accessible to parents, professionals, youth, and caregivers, and to every Californian everywhere. It's not about dollars, but

about dignity, representation, and possibility. It affirms that those who dedicate themselves to our students are seen, valued, and supported. It opens doors for diverse voices, for first- generation leaders, and for people who have struggled in the communities we serve. Members of the board share its vision and commitment. Raising the voices of school commissioners has not gone unnoticed. We thank you not only for AB 1390, but for the ways it reminds us that education is a fight worth fighting and that local leadership matters. On behalf of the Belfower District, the Board of Trustees, and the hearts of public servants across California, thank you for honoring this vital role and for ensuring a stronger future for school governance. Let's give a round of applause for Assemblymember Jose Salache. We appreciate him so much. Please come to the

podium . Thank you so much for all you do and for having the best representatives. First of all, I want to thank the board and the communities. Like in the 80s, I'm a little older now , but I'm very excited to be a member of the school board. For 10 years I was able to be an advocate for students. I started at the age of 23. I'm very proud to be here. Now I'm here. I'm proud to represent Lakwood, Belfower, Paramount, and Lindwood, Southgate, Maywood and Buen Park. Those are the communities, and I like being there in Sacramento to be a voice for you, to be here in the Anastasia community, a cultural connection to the students, to the student body. It's important to have cultural connections. Um, I love that we're such a beautiful

community, and the superintendent has been nothing short of a new standout in the community. And yes, I started the board meeting to look at their budgets. It's a constant reflection as a state representative that we're campaigning for dollars for the communities and ensuring that our teachers, our classified staff, have the resources, as a member of the school board. Things we do at the state level to have more single mothers, fathers, young people, people who are retired, who can serve on the school boards. We want to have more people who can have a voice. I want to be like an official, and when those people retire—that's what 1390 does—we should have more people there having a voice, especially with the pressures of increasing costs. I want more parents, more teachers who are school board members in

the state of California, and Bill 390, the proposed law for Bellower in my district. I'm proud to have been a former board member on that. If you need anything, our office is at Permount 17 and Alandra, and that's our space. Madam President, while I'm here, I want to take this opportunity to thank you . I'm going to make this very quick on behalf of the State of California. It's a pleasure to have such an effective leader, Anemy. We follow each other on social media and like each other's posts almost all the time, but you've been a champion for the schools here in Bellower. Thank you so much for leading the board. You have been a reflection of your school board; you're not just an educator, but also a board member here in Bellower. On behalf

of the State of California, we want to thank you for your leadership and for being such a bright star of light to the Bellower community, and thank you to the Bellower community for having you as their president. We want to thank you for all the hours and calls you've made to all the stakeholders. Okay, I'm going to give you the Words to President Dr. ST. This afternoon we have the privilege of honoring the President with a special moment of recognition from the Board of Education, the Superintendent, the Cabinet, and the Office staff. We extend our heartfelt thanks for her year of leadership and the time she has dedicated to the Belfower USD family. We would now like to invite you to pay attention to the screen as we share a video prepared in her honor.

I'm going to ask President Stuart to come forward. I want to do it from here because I do n't know if Brad did the song, and it was amazing, thank you. Okay, good afternoon everyone, and thank you for being here. Before I begin, I want to personally thank many people: my family, my daughter who just arrived from Texas. I'm so excited that she's here for a few days, my friends, my colleagues, my former principal—she was my principal for many years, but the district stole her because she's incredible, and I understand, but I'm a little sad. The elected officials who have Supported, members H, I think, I think that any event with Celache is a more memorable event with all the members of the Belfidos City Council . I just saw that Anthony Randon just walked

in. Anthony is running for superintendent, and I really appreciate his leadership. I really appreciate his support and he's always there to back our community. He's probably the busiest man in California. I know he's constantly on the go , but he still takes the time to support us, listen to us, take our calls, and I really appreciate that. I want to say a big thank you to the PTA, BTA, and CSA. I know President Michelle Quer isn't feeling well, and President John, thank you so much. And some of the former board members , thank you for being here. Thank you for being such a strong woman; I really appreciate you. She's been such a great mentor to me, and she's the one who made me cry. Thank you. Happy. Tonight is something that means a lot

to me, not because it marks the end of my presence, but because it gives me the opportunity to express my gratitude to The people who made this year something, a possibility, something I've always believed is that during reorganization, you select the right person to lead at that moment. This past year, I truly felt I was the right person to lead at the right time, but more than anything, I was surrounded by the right team. When I look back, I don't see a list of accomplishments. I see a board of directors that worked together with diverse perspectives, a superintendent, cabinet members, staff, and a community of great parents and relatives who remained committed to the students. And I see a team that delivered on its promises, kept its commitments. Now, transparency wasn't just a goal, it

was a practice. We added partner committees, held community forums, gave more updates, moved all meetings to YouTube, and strengthened our relationship with Licor. We fulfilled our promise to complete the Mayfar Field project, and the biggest success was hiring Dr. Ering Simon. She is exactly who I expected: kind, collaborative, deeply rooted in her family, her relationships. And of course, we have our athlete too, who is great. We also hit the jackpot with the leadership, and I'm excited to continue working with her. Something about this role is that it shows you humility quickly. Being board president doesn't make you more powerful. It reminds you how much you need to rely on others. It's only one voice out of five and 20% of a vote. Your job as president is to set the agenda, keep things flowing, and

unite the purpose. Our meetings have provided more reports in the community and have still dealt with our issues effectively. We've accomplished a lot together. We've strengthened systems by holding an ongoing safety committee, having updates to improve transparency, a legislative committee to stay on top of state and federal changes, including all educational partners and unions on committees, and beginning the transition to having transportation within the district. We also adopted global languages by authorizing Calops for Curated students and dual enrollment at Mayfield in Summerset. We also extended the CSE years for more professional development in conversion. We supported schools and communities through the first special education fair , the breast cancer awareness walk, and our state education program. We also began our long-term work, including starting the Mayfield field handwork, and we also secured a bond. Thank

you to everyone who collaborated with me, believed in me, and trusted me to be the chair of this board. I appreciate you all. I have made so many friends while on this board, and I am so humbled to have been in this role. So tonight, as I step away from this role, I do so with pride and humility. Thank you to my board members, and please excuse me. Thank you to my colleagues, board vice chair Garza Cerchild Armstrongstrong, for believing in me, for placing me here, for letting me lead a year ago. Thank you for working alongside me, and thank you for allowing me to serve. I wanted to put this out there because I wanted everyone to know about all the great accomplishments we have made this year and for everyone to know that

this is a team. We need three votes, and everyone We did it. We accomplished so much this year, and I appreciate everyone I've been able to work with. It was difficult. There were times when I wanted to quit, but you just keep going , work together, and that's why. It's because of our students. We did it together, and I will always be grateful to all of you. Thank you so much. As President Stars, but please come down now. I know she's wiping away tears, but can we make comments or not? Leave her alone. Well, I want to say something. Should we do it later, or am I jumping in too early? Well, since she's here, I want to say that Amy is the most organized person and the most passionate leader I've ever been around.

She works harder than anyone else, and even though there have been some disagreements—I think more than a few, especially with me—and even though we've disagreed, I've never questioned her commitment to our students, and we've always been able to work together. As a friend, she has my affection; as a colleague, she has my respect; and as a mother of two students ... Bellflower School District, you have my gratitude for all you have done for the students. Thank you, Amy. We also have members here of the community members who have asked to speak, whether they are going to present certificates or simply to speak on behalf of President Steart's presidency. So , Miss Carter, go ahead. If you are not on the list and would like to speak, please come here and speak with Miss Carry Garcia

so that she can add you to the list and you can share a few words with Miss or Mrs. Carter. Tonight we have several special guests who want to recognize Miss Stu. We're going to start tonight with Juan Garza, representing the municipal water district . Forward. Hey, we're on the list, right? Yes, I'm here. Good evening, I am Juan Garza, I am the rector for the Central Bason municipal water district, also the Southern California district. It's a great honor and pleasure to be here tonight, Amy. It seems like only yesterday we were having our coffee at Starbucks, when you were thinking about applying to provide services to our public. I know we reviewed all the challenges and benefits, as well as the successes and, truly, the joy that serving the public gives us . It

seems like it was just yesterday that we had this conversation, and now we are here honoring you on your special days, and I truly want to extend my gratitude to you personally. I am a big fan of the process we carry out when, for example, selecting the new pope, and I share this with you because it always seems that you choose the right person, at the right time, when it is needed. So, when I see the state of our country and how things are, I realized that education, unfortunately, is under attack due to national policies, but what I also see is that under your leadership this district continued on the good path where it could have deviated at any moment. And that happens thanks to your leadership and vision. I am a huge fan and

truly believe that this district stayed on the right track, and it's because of you. And I couldn't be more proud and have such a great honor to thank you for your resilience and consistency that this district, the student faculty and staff and the entire community have shown. He benefited, thanks to his vision and his commitment. Thank you for continuing on the right path. It is a great honor in our district here at Municipal Water. And congratulations. I hope it has more success. Now here representing the Senate district is Carlos Ceras, who is representing on behalf of Senator Bob Archileta. Good evening, I am Carla Cáceres and I am here on behalf of Senator Bob Choleta. Senators, it is with great pleasure that I present this certificate of recognition to Miss Amy Sird in appreciation of

her distinguished service as Belfower School District President for the 2024-2025 school year and for her leadership on behalf of the students, families, and educators, her commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting a collaborative and student-centered environment. has positively impacted the Belfare community on behalf of District 32 in the state of California. Thank you for your dedication to public education and exemplary service. My best wishes for continued success and all your future projects. Signed by Senator Arquileta. Hey, vociferous Anthony Renden, vociferous. Staff in Bellfow district told me I wanted to submit a certificate and I barely have a job, so my daughter and I tried to make one at home, but it didn't work. But I want to thank Emy for her service. If there's one thing I regret in the last 2 years at TR,

it's that I only represented Pflan in the last 2 years and I was able to grant Emy in these last 2 years. The effort she gives us. For us in the legislature, it's a time, a full-time job. I know that you have thousands of other things that you have to balance at the same time. Yes, in many ways it's a thankless job, but I know that everything you see in the community is everything. I've seen it. We recently talked about the other thing I've seen in you that I love, like someone who played football as a child. I just love the athletic, competitive aspect. I think we connected on that level when we met, and I thought it was really cool. I just wanted to do something more. I've said it before, people have heard

me say it before. When you're in Sancramento, you wake up day after day. 400 miles to your district, you go to a supermarket or a park, nobody knows you, nobody knows who you are, it does n't matter what your title is, but the board members, the council members, the water district members know because of the water that comes out of your tap, whether people, their children get an education or not, people understand those are the building blocks, the foundation for Democracy. We want to succeed as a state, as a country, but it's always done at the local level. Amy understands that, she knows the parents, the children, the schools, so I've loved meeting her. I will continue to support her in any way I can. Thank you. Representing the city of Leque. Councilman David Tarellano.

I do n't think they mailed the certificate. I hope it has arrived. Well, I'm going to tell you that it's already in the mail, but in fact I feel very honored to be here seeing you and seeing your presidency. She has been a true inspiration, and knowing that she went through the Belfower school district and is now the president and representative of all the students and their families. When I see you, I see you as a sister, and I have many photos, in fact, I think about six or seven where I appear. I realized that , but I realized that a lot, and there are things that stand out in my mind, that I go to many events and I feel that I am part of this Belfower district family, and its presidency has a

new superintendent, who is incredible. Every time I see her, she is working very hard, and also having started the time for the new stadium. This was done in his presence and then I saw the whole list. I said, "Oh my God," I said, "I can't even explain what they've been doing." So thank you very much for all your great work and I'm also going to represent the city of Lake World, uh, Areña, right? Because I'll also be doing both things. So it also has some proclamations here. I'm not going to read it because I bought it, and honestly, I can't read that fast, so that's from the city of Cerritos. We have one there in the mail and we also have one here for Brad and another one for Mayira from Mayira Garza. So these

are for you. I'm only going to give it to him so that I can take a picture of it. We will soon have Servidos member, trustee John Paul. I already gave my speech, but I found the little gift. I represent Unified Perma, the Chairman of the Board, Eddie Cruz. I'm just a board member and I'm fine with that title. And as for the past president, we all want to be president on day one and can't wait to hand the role over to someone else until the end of the term. Be ready. President Garza, good afternoon, cabinet members and executives. I am pleased to be here with my people from Permap to recognize Emir. I remember the first day we met and your questions were about your campaign and what I heard is that you love

Belflower, that you love our students because now I am part of the Belflower family. I am very proud to be this and to this beautiful community, and it is the first term in the office, what kind of leaders are we going to make, and I thank you because it is a very difficult business and sometimes we are pulled in many directions, but our North Star has always been the students of Bellflower, the teachers of Bellflower, and our classified employees. That's why I congratulate her. She had an amazing year and received a certificate in recognition of her dedicated service to students, staff, and for her tenure as Belfar District President and as a teacher in Unified Perma. I thank you for your service and for loving our children so much. Representing the Teachers Association of President

John. Amy, Emy, brief in this new leadership role with the union. It's a pleasure to meet you and I'm going to echo what I heard from Perman. Thank you for saying yes. to be the president of the school board. One of the things I admire about you is that with your successes as a student, as an athlete at Bellow, which is a Bellow product, you returned to your roots, but to give back and to advance the community. Thank you for everything you do. Representing the employees, the California Employees Association, President Joan Cheng. Hello, Amy Angela, our secretary is also here with me. As Michel told you, he's sorry he couldn't come, but he's not feeling well. As part of it, so chapter 32, we want to present you with this plaque to acknowledge, to recognize

you, I'm sorry, your dedication and your efforts during your chairmanship of the board of blue leadership has made a very deep impact on our district and we are very grateful for your efforts, your vision and your commitment that you have shown. We appreciate your open and honest communication that has fostered trust and collaboration every step of the way. Thank you for everything you've done. We are very excited to continue working with you and building a foundation that you helped create. Representing the Bol P council, President Alexandra Cortés. Hello, getting to know you again this year and starting as president in July, I want to acknowledge the other members of my board who are coming so they can tell you a little more about their interactions with you. But I'll start with mine. The day I

met you was incredible, it was my first experience here and I've only been with the school district for two years and it was the most entertaining thing. I brought a lot of parents and started watching the link on YouTube because that's the day I realized there's so much more it takes for principals to do what they do in schools and for teachers to start here, joining the PTA and learning from the PTA. I learned how we too have a voice to come here and make changes for the students, and I thank you for listening to us and for being on that truck that day we went for the red ribbon. It was so nice to hear you. You have so much enthusiasm and your love for sports shines through, and so does your love for

Bellflower. I'm going to give it to someone else. Hi, Amy. Thank you for everything you have done this past year to help the students and families of the Bellower school district . We appreciate it very much. Thank you so much. Hi, Amy. I have represented Amy on the Citizens Taskforce for many years and we have had many conversations and she has always welcomed me. Answer all my questions. Ah, she's a lawyer for anything I ask of her, she supports me and I think she listens to me and that I matter in this community. I just wanted to say thank you for the many hours you spent talking to me and making me feel that I matter, that my children matter, and I will always support you. And whenever she says she wants to be in

the citizen workforce, I will say yes because I will give my opinion, but she always agrees with this and always gives me my moment to express myself. And I just want to say thank you. I was told that I have to talk about people because they don't want to, they don't want to talk. Amy, we just want to say thank you for being open to listening to us. That's the reason most of us joined the PTA because we did it for the children and the students, and we thought that was their focus too. It was open, available, and the whole board has been, but as a president, and as we have been presidents of something, it's like a ray of light. Thank you for addressing this with grace, answering our questions, and helping us advocate

for children. Hi, Imy. I mean, I knew a long time ago, before all those people, that you were going to be a great board president and you were going to be a great thing for the community. I am very proud of you and very happy for you. Thank you for everything you've done. She is the reason I am here. We had the conversation and she told me I should take the position. She is the reason I am here. On behalf of the Belf PTA council, we appreciate you and thank you. I represent the leadership of Bell Far, Oblast support team, the current elected Angelica Montelango. Good evening, Amy. On behalf of Bell Flower, from the Leadership and Support team known as Blast, we would like to let you know that we appreciate all the work

you have done for us this year and show you that you care, that we matter, that you care about the district. Your commitment has made a difference in the lives of students, their families, and has impacted school campuses. As she concludes her time as president of the board, we want to acknowledge her dedication and advocacy and all that she has brought to the schools to honor her. The management team members shared the words that best describe their disgust. Those words were used to create a special keepsake. The larger words reflect the qualities that were mentioned most frequently. I'm not going to read them all, but I'm going to read the biggest ones. So, we have a supportive, passionate, supportive, dedicated, committed, and fearless woman . Thank you for everything you've done. We are pleased to

introduce Miss Sir Janes Han representing the fourth district on the board of supervisors, which Los Angeles and Congressman Rober Garcia were unable to attend tonight. They would like to extend their congratulations and appreciation to Miss ST for her service to the students and the community. Miss, in closing we would like to thank you for your leadership and dedication to the students, staff and community of the BFO school district . Thank you so much for everything you have done. Don't go, don't go, don't go, don't go. Can I say one more thing? When you get a member, it's impossible to have a member. Before I met her I said, there was absolutely no way that she could be elta. They said we had to get to know her, and after getting to know her we said,

"There's no way we can't get her elected." And this was before the districts changed; she knocked on every door in the Belf school district to get this job. So we are very grateful that you are here. Thank you. At this time, I'm going to ask the board members to come forward to the chairwoman. Tonight, we have the great honor of taking a moment to acknowledge a great chapter of leadership on behalf of the board, to the staff and cabinet. We are proud to present to you, Miss, a coin of our gratitude. And we will bring it to you, and also a memento of your dedicated service as Madam President. His leadership shines a guiding light with unwavering commitment, and he has consistently led with integrity and purpose, putting others before himself and his impact. His
