001hey exploratory Frank bazzill Here I am a second year student in Communication Arts one of the best parts about being in this class is the ability to be on cat TV news and to work in collaboration with other team members in order to make films and other cool projects hopefully you choose this class as it will teach you some very valuable skills that you might use in the future what I like best about Communication Arts technology is that it is very hands-on it teaches you the importance of film industry and it's a great way to get involved with your class you get to learn how to edit you make short films which is a lot of fun you're involved with cat TV news and even entering competitions such as 10 a film challenge SkillsUSA and
002much more and it's such a great way to challenge yourself and you definitely learn something new every day from this class by far my favorite thing about Communication Arts is the uniqueness of the class one day you're hosting cat TV news the other day you might be preparing the math tip for the talent show the next you might be watching a movie there was always something to do I had the opportunity to go to Kentucky with a very close friend of mine after winning gold at SkillsUSA there I competed with students all around the country passionate about their craft I got to participate or to participate behind the scenes during the talent shows and mr. Cate made tech I used cameras and editing software's to tell stories in a creative thinking inspiring way alongside the
003best class if you never asked for what I like most about Communication Arts is that no matter what career path you end up going into in the long run and teaches you so many great skills those including teamwork skills leadership skills and videography photography and editing those kind of skills can be used to benefit and promote any type of workplace you end up going into in the future and in our day and age it's a really useful skill you get to participate in different competitions like the 10-day film challenge and SkillsUSA those that give you a set piece of criteria that you need you get a deadline for it so it really teaches you like a real job like what you need to do and you have to get it done with your best foot
004forward it really increased my work ethic doing stuff like this all the time training for these competitions the entire year you even get rewarded for all that hard work you put into so it's not like it's for nothing and you slack off like my team for broadcast news and SkillsUSA got silver another team in my class received first and went all the way to Nationals and we also received 1st and a documentary category for Rowan University's media fest so it's really cool to get to be a part of all these different competitions that a lot of other of the CTS don't really have and you can't really offer so it's great to just have this kind of job experience almost more in this class and even getting to be on a news like if you're
005interested in news you get to see what an actual like set would be like and being a host and being behind the camera on getting the experience every little piece it's a great experience and it's a great class and I wouldn't have switched any class
