008is the maritime history and leadership class it's an elective course introducing the students to the US Coast Guard military service history and leadership in the near future the class will become a full three-year CTE program choosing a high school career path all begins freshman year with the unique exploratory career Studies classes during the course of their first year every student moves through and learns about each one of the career classes offered at Tec almost 90 minutes per day is devoted and by the end of freshman year students make their choice this and all CTE programs are given in double length periods this occurs in addition to the required academic classes that meet New Jersey curriculum standards at Cape Tech not only must students complete the same course requirements and testing as any other public high
