002the Advisory Council dinner it's a dinner that thanks all of our advisors for our CTE and academic programs here at Tech this is the Advisory dinner and it is kind of to honor all the advisory boards for all of the CTE programs now is this just exclusively for them this is exclusively for all the advisors that helped us during the year so what are you doing to contribute in helping for this event so Travel and Tourism takes the lead all I'm planning the events and then we do pretty much all the hands-on work like every sort of floral arrangement every table setting every napkin fold we've done that we work you know this whole week getting stuff ready so yeah we are basically setting up the whole thing we also have other CTE programs like
003pastry arts culinary and all those things I come in and bring in food and we set up the entire event we phone napkins you put tablecloths and all these and put all the floral arrangements out and it's gonna look really cool now since this is your shot glass what are you learning from this this is exactly what I want to do after high school so this is I got dirt this goes for like a direct correlation for what I want to do so it's it's a real-world have been planning organizational skills there's a lot to be learned that's really cool I'm learning responsibility because you have to make sure you get everything a hundred percent correct or it's basically on your shoulders of it bills that's really intriguing thank you for your time back to
004the studio thanks John last week sophomore Josh dray scored his 1,000th point for the Cape May tech Hawks basketball that's a mile so no other player has achieved in their sophomore year here Sierra with an interview hey guys I'm here with Josh right Katie County's first sophomore basketball player to make it to a thousand points how did it feel to make that shot it felt really good to make that shot well who supported you most to help you get there my mother and my dad my family and friends and my teammates can you describe the shop for us and what happened afterwards my teammate rabbit he passed me the ball on the wing and it was like a switch up so like I pulled out the big man and I just shot it after the
005shot on my teammates came and surrounded me my my mom my family everybody just um just gave me lots of love and I'm it was just really exciting for me how long do you practice every day I practice about 24/7 all the time after school I go home get something to eat and then go back out and go to my local rec so basically any free time you have you spend practicing yes so what is basketball mean to you as far as my passion um it's my stressful lever every time like when I get mad at something I just go on the court and just get some shots up just clear my mind so do you see yourself having a future with basketball in it yes um I'm planning on going to college some colleges

007Bishop with more information good morning Cape May tech as I'm sure you've heard we have the first Cape May tech original submission Film Festival coming up this Thursday it starts right after school 2:30 2:45 you can get on the late bus at 3:30 no excuse for not coming we have a bake sale with all sorts of good things to buy tickets are only three dollars and the best thing is we have 16 amazing original submission from students and a couple staff members have done some great things so I'm expecting to see everyone there including staff come on out and support a great fundraiser for the class of 2019 and it's going to be a lot of fun frolics food at a really good time and you get to get on get home on time to
