001Wipe. And we're ready to go. My time to shine. That away from me, right there. I'm about to hit it. Good evening. We will call the meeting to order. Could we have a moment of silence? Okay, we'll stand for the flag salute. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Take roll call, Mrs. Fitzwater. Mr. Bramhall. Here. Ms. Falconiero. Here. Ms. Ziacone. Here. Mr. McGough. >> Here. Mr. Meeker. Here. Mrs. Tadley. Mrs. Trombetta. >> Here. Mr. Kenny, here. Statement is hereby made that the adequate notice of this meeting was given by submission of said notice to the Cinnaminson Township Clerk and the district website on March 3rd, 2026. We're going to slide

002down to four, public comment. Can we skip this? We can skip that. >> Okay. Seeing as there's no one in attendance, we will skip to section five, but before that, a statement. Um, good evening. The purpose of tonight's Board of Education meeting is to approve the submission of the 2026-2027 preliminary budget to the Burlington County Executive Superintendent for approval. This year, the governor's budget address was pushed from February 24th to March 10th, which delayed the release of state aid to March 12th. Our district received an additional $1.2 million in state aid. This amount was capped at 6% due to the budget guardrail. If the guardrail was not in place, the district would have been eligible to receive a total increase of $2.1 million. The Finance Committee has met several times over the past month to

003review multiple budget scenarios. Once the committee agreed to a recommendation, it was then presented individually to all other board members. The recommendation includes an overall tax increase of 4.04%, which equals an additional $19.92 per month for the average assessed home in Cinnaminson. Once the preliminary budget is approved by the Burlington County Executive Superintendent, a public hearing will be held here in the middle school cafeteria on April 28th at 6:00 p.m. At that time, Mr. Capello and Mrs. Wilkie will do a full presentation on next year's budget. Following the presentation, the final 2026-2027 budget will be on the agenda for board approval. At this time, I will turn to section five on the agenda, business and finance, to Mrs. Wilkie.
