003kick off to them now we just wait for the comments to come out here with their special teams kick the ball off and we have started the first home game of the year the first the second game of the entire season because they had their first game in syracuse they won and put up 32 points kyle had two kyle nels had two touchdowns jacob maldonado had two touchdowns and they had a 102 yard pick six like donovan's showtime swayze amazing play by him so clifton's wanting out let's see if they can extend their record to heisen back to 2-000 the kick for the mustangs the crowd goes wild the fans beginning to play kicker's ready everybody looks fine and boom the 2021 second game of the season has been going for the mustangs lazy returning
004the kick he has a hole past the 50 the 40 the 30 25 20 15 5 touchdown mustangs and that's how you begin a game donovan showtime swayze his second kick return of the season and with 12 seconds in clifton has a 12-0 lead or 6-0 lead my goodness and that's how you start this season a kick return by donovan's lazy take it back for six 12 seconds in my goodness what a play let's go baby let's go and clifton takes a six-nothing lead for 12 seconds in unbelievable decide with the kick the kick is up and it is through look it takes a seven nothing lead [Applause] who else really got that touchdown other than showtime swayze ladies and gentlemen my goodness what a way to start the crowd going crazy the fan play
005so much more different than last year well this golden 19 pandemic stuff going on but now the energy and the crowd is back and it's a great way to start the season [Applause] as you heard they're possibly from mr lassler it was an 81-yard kickoff return by donovan showtime swayze excellent play let's see what happens here clifton going to kick off now to hackensack the comets we didn't even need the offense on the field there for that touchdown oh man electric already to start the season and there's the kick off a very high one falls in about the 13-yard line he touches the ball it's on the ground it's a fumble he picks it up it flips against the hate and it looks like hacking stack still holds on [Applause] oh man he touched the
006ball and hooked him with a pick that up it would have been their possession and it looks like hackensack recovered and on comes the mighty mustangs defense [Applause] [Music] and on comes the comments offense starting quarterback number 16 matt polaris he heads under center moves back okay ref pulls the whistle one receiver lined up on the left tight end splits out wide one man in the backfield shotgun foundation clifton looks like they put a little bit of press on hands off goes and they get the tackle and a hard hit there gets maybe a gain of two and it'll be second and eight second [Applause] that's number 12 adrian king ball snap handoff goes gets a gain of a few and he's brought down past the 25 at about the 27th now it's third down
007i believe around three yards third and about three quarterback under center hands off to the full back he pushes forward and falls let's see where they place it was it first down or is it fourth and maybe a few let's see [Music] let's see they have the ball down they're bringing out the st they're bringing out to see if they're measuring let's see if it's a first down or not rest places it down and it is a first down just by about so it's first and ten at about the 32 yard line here we go they come out of the huddle number six elijah [Music] [Applause] crowd cheering for them clifton has a lot in the box down there they do go with the handoff he makes a nice move and he falls forward about

010and he looks like he gets up a little bit he's limping off the field and that was number 72 tyler williams and the medical staff's gonna take a look at him the ball is placed at the 50-yard line right now third in a yard here let's see what clinton can do the comments have not passed the ball once this game so clifton should expect to run here let's see what happens they do go with a handoff up the middle and they seem to have got him one for the comments it looks like the offense is staying on the field the quarterback matt polaris he trots back onto the field and they're gonna go for it two receivers lined up on the right i formation pull back and running back let's see what they go in

012what a ton of events the first pass of the game was caught gain of seven and offense led by none other than quarterback ellis baby let's go and out comes the clifton offense led by kyle felix jacob maldonado on the backfield two receivers one receiver lined up on each side of the ball able in motion shotgun formation velas takes the snap hands off goes [Applause] and it looks like maldonado was there for the carry and you got a gain of two and it'll be second and eight looks like six people on the line from here shotgun formation maldonado on the backfield ellis takes the snap he's gonna throw has time he's looking deep and it's just overthrown looking deep for relief for donovan swayze [Music] just a little overthrown good defense by the comments though

018on offense we'll see [Applause] goes backwards towards the 30 out of bounds at around the 26 where clifton will begin their drive so instead of going for it around midfield they decide to punt it's a pretty good one and clifton will begin their drive at the 25 yard line and on comes the clifton offense led by senior now quarterback kyle velasquez he's been this he's been the quarterback for a while and every season we've seen him improve including this year and i talked to him not too long ago he said he's excited to be a senior he said just expect a lot for me he said i'm ready to play and then he said this is one of the best he's the best he's ever felt and clifton lost a little bit of players this
019year but they kept mostly everybody let's see how they do man in motion fellows takes the snap jet sweep there to i believe donovan swayze he's brought down at about the 23 yard line i believe it's a loss of two even though that may have been a negative play my goodness he has not had a negative gain he has an interception taken back for a touchdown and the very first play in the game the kickoff he takes that one back 81 yards to the house so we have a 14-nothing lead let's see what clifton could do here shotgun formation two receivers lined up to count ellis's right one on his left he dumps that one off to swayze he gets past the 30 brought down about 35 and it's a first down [Applause] and the

056[Music] third down and five for clifton one minute left to go in the game and they let the clock wind down they call a timeout here and 47 seconds remaining clifton calls a timeout and with 47 seconds left i think it is safe to say that clifton has taken the win here they lead they're leading 27-7 with 40 47 seconds left i mean an excellent job on both sides of the ball especially to donovan swayze specifically who had two touchdowns this game a pick six and a return kick kyle villas with that great passing touchdown to brian feliciano i mean overall just a great game jacob maldonado got in the end zone for six as well made three of our four extra points of special teams other than the return kick we did pretty well
