He has participated in BHS Connect and is an active member of the Wizards of the Mystic Realm DND Club. Wow, that's a popular one, huh, Balin? I guess we got something going on
044there. And was a member of the rifle team. As a result of his high academic achievement, he has earned multiple scholarship honor, excuse me, academic honor societies uh recognitions which include the National Honor Society, the Art Honor Society, English Honor Society, Math and Science Honor Society. Outside of school, Balin's dedication to serving his community has left a lasting impact on many. He has devoted countless hours volunteering at the Stratford Public Library, serving as both a teen advisory board member and a youth liaison to the Stratford Library Association Board of Trustees. Additionally, he spends a great deal of time working the libraries you create program, further strengthening his connection to the library community and its creative opportunities. Whether it's helping to organize programs, sharing ideas, or simply lending a hand wherever needed, Balon consistently gives his
045time and energy to his community. His commitment to volunteer volunteerism reflects the same sincerity and dedication that he brings to all aspects of his life. Balen represents the very best that Benell High School has to offer. His combination of intelligence, leadership, humility, resilience, and compassion make him not only an outstanding student, but a wonderful young man. And I can truly say that Balon, while you know, might not be on, you know, the frontlininer of all of the clubs and activities and running around on Instagram and doing all of the things, Balon is one of those leaders who really is a quiet, soft-spoken leader and truly leads by example. and his really cool and fun and eclectic vibe, I think is really um just he really is a role model to so many who often kind
046of slide under their radar and go unnoticed. And so I appreciate you, Bal, and very much for that type of leadership and those qualities that you bring to our school because I think other people see themselves in you and hopefully that will help raise their voice in the future. So welcome to you, BILL. [applause] AS he begins the next chapter at University of Connecticut, we wish him the very best.
