mustangs versus the forsake indians last week just a small recap the clifton mustangs took on a short notice game against the colonial patriots and the clinton mustangs ended up winning 39 to 20. the mustangs ended up starting off last season and they're looking to start to mustangs foreign joshua hernandez and number 70 mohamed abuba mustangs have only won the tops and that but that's just by judging from the reaction on the sidelines i just want to get sick it looks like the mustangs are going to receive to start off the game which means to begin the second half the passenger indians will be receiving the ball they won the clifton did win the toss and elected to receive which means in the second half the forsake indians will start with the ball back to return
there is number 14 kayla bonaparte and number one luke sinai touchdown is here i oh suck it down right last week he ended up getting in there and scored an eight yard touchdown for the mustangs and there he is picking up not just not just a few yards [Applause] offensive card so then getting an offensive guard involved in receiving the ball is a very big design play by artwork and he's going to take himself on his on an option and he'll get a gain of five yards on that run which is enough for a mustangs first down another very well designed play by coach giordano and head coach coach thank you novelis under center two receivers left one right maldonado on the backfield velos takes the snap and hands it off to maldonado who makes
a nice jump cut you get past the ten the five anything touchdown mustangs jacob maldonado with an 18-yard run that gets the mustangs a six-point lead early on a four-minute drive and the mustangs already have six points on the board jacob maldonado an 18-yard run stephopolis with the extra point and the kick is good oh the kick is not good the kick was off it was far right and the mustangs all and the mustangs only have a six-nothing lead stethopolis makes the miss the extra point and it is a six nothing lead by clifton and the mustangs still have a six nothing lead ladies and gentlemen so missing the extra point isn't all that bad and the mustangs are going to kick off to the passage indians and the kick is up and it is
a pretty good one it's so good that it went out of the back of the endzone what an impressive kickoff and out comes the dominant mustangs defense who had an interception last week very late in the game and they ended up only giving up 20 points to the colonia patriots which they had no time to prepare for which is a very interesting like stat only giving up 20 points to a team you only have a few days to prepare for and a team you've never played in your school's history that is very impressive [Music] and here is the indians offense man in motion he hands it off to number seven and ends up number seven adrian muzon omar muhai's on the tackle and it'll be second at about three to go our second and seven
to go for the pace indians offense being led by quarterback jeremiah johnson number two and running back 21 antro munro and it's a false start on pacific and they'll be going backwards and it's a five-yard penalty i believe so it'll be second and 11 from the 19 yard line instead of second and six and out comes the indians offense led by quarterback jeremiah johnson as i said before two receivers left one right he takes the snap he rolls right he's gonna throw johnson has no time that he's dropped for a sack number one luke cinery got back there and was able to bring him down for a loss and it'll be a loss of five and it'll be third and 16 yards third and 15 from the 15-yard line they break the huddle one receiver
right one receiver left to right johnson takes the snap rolls right doesn't have a lot of time throws right and it is incomplete and it has a three down and the mustangs will get the ball back and out comes the special teams very good stop by the mustangs defense two returners back there and the kick is up and the punt goes far right and out of bounds at about the 47 yard line and that seems to be where the mustangs will will begin pun landed out of bounds at the 47-yard line on clifton but they will start on the passaic 49 mustangs break the huddle two receivers left one right velos hands it off to maldonado who has a hole and will get a pretty good gain of about seven yards and it'll be second
and three hello of seven on the run second three for the mustangs they break the huddle two receivers right one left maldonado on the back field fellas takes the snap throws right and it is incomplete but there is a flag on the play looking for caleb bonaparte there and it is on the offense there was an eligible player down field against the mustangs they do accept so it'll be second and long for the mustangs five yard penalty second and ten for the mustangs here we go they break the huddle waldonado on the backfield two receivers right two on two on the left velos takes the snap hands it off to maldonado who makes a nice move and is brought down at the 43-yard line and it's a seven yard game which would bring up third
and three for the mustangs maltonado so far this game has has not had a carry under three yards and one was an 18-yard touchdown maldonado playing very well right now and it's third and short so don't be surprised if he gets the ball here two receivers right two left maldonado on the back field swayze emotion velas takes the snap he's gonna throw he throws right for donovan swayze and it's caught and he does not get dragged out of bounds and he's blocked out at the 38 yard line and that'll be a mustangs first down what a great move like donovan swayze to pick up the first down he's about to get brought down and pushed out of bounds but he makes a very nice spin move around one of the defensive backs and picks up
five first and ten three receivers right one left maldonado in the backfield velas throws right on a screen to donovan swayze who has some blockers downfield who'll get past the 30 and out of bounds at the 28 yard line that was a nine yard gain on the reception by swayze and it'll be second down and about a yard to go for the mustangs the huddle breaks three receivers left one right maldonado on the backfield velos takes the snap he's gonna throw he's looking left he's looking deep and he's almost had him but it'll be incomplete third and one was looking deep just missed him hit the fingertips of omar new henson third in a yard to go three two receivers left one right velos takes a snap hands it off to maldonado and let's see
where they put it did he get did he get it it depends on where the referees spot it and it is a first down for the mustangs on a one-yard carry by maldonado so they gave him the spot and they got the first down good run by jacob maldonado ball placed at the 27 yard line the huddle breaks one receiver left one right two players in the backfield two men in motion maldonado still back there play action pass velas rolls left throwing he's got a man for a pretty good game that was number four is another game by nick burgess a nine yard game by burgers that's the second catch of the game second and one for the mustangs two receivers right one left two minutes and 55 seconds left on the clock he hands
the ball off to maldonado no he doesn't he takes it himself he breaks the tackle and he's down inside the 10 yard line that was a that was a really good run by the quarterback kyle villas a gain of nine by kyle vellis on the run after the gate of nine by velas it'll be third and one two receivers right one left cavalis hands it off to maldonado who makes a nice move and he'll get the fir it looks like he got enough for the first down and he's brought down at the five yard line first and goal for the mustangs puddle breaks manzanado on the backfield two receivers left one lined up at tight end one on the right velos takes a snap he rolls left he's looking he's throwing end zone and it
is incomplete it'll be and it'll be third down about a yard to go looks like on the previous play of the run by maldonado they just didn't give him the first down which is odd so it'll be third and a yard to go after the incomplete pass by velas and it's a time-out taken by the clifton mustangs that's what i'm afraid i get scared oh and the mustangs offense comes back onto the field and so does passage defense mustangs use their first of three timeouts in this half with a minute and 31 left in the first quarter with a minute and 31 left in the first quarter fellas quick snap hands it off to maldonado who brings it in for a mustangs touchdown jake got more donato his second of the game and the mustangs
have a 12 nothing lead a six yard carry for jacob maldonado sets up a two score lead for the mustangs stephanis and we'll do the extra point and there's a flag on the field and it's a full start it looks like by the passaic special teams they caught they got caught jumping it's the thomas the kick is up waiting on the signal and it is good and the mustangs have a 13 point lead 13 nothing mustangs after the second touchdown of the game by jacob maldonado and a six yard carry and out comes the mustangs kickoff team is on the kickoff two men back to return for the indians the kick is up and it will bounce at the five and go out of the back of the end zone for another touch back another
very good kickoff first step offers an outcome the indians offense who was stopped on a three and out by the mustangs the last time they were on the field quarterback jeremiah johnson takes the snap hands it off to number 21. uh ancho monroe lucineri on the tackle he faked a pitch to number seven adrian mazzone that ended up handing but ended up handing it off to antrel monroe in the running back and it'll be second and six for passaic 55 seconds on the clock and counting clock is winding down two receivers left one right johnson takes the snap hands it off to the running back who tries to hurt old man but he just gets stonewalled and trump monroe just tried to hurdle somebody but he was just met up front and he gets tackled
for a loss of one and it'll be third and seven the huddle breaks for passage two receivers right and one left monroe in the backfield johnson takes the snap rolls right and he is stopped in his tracks and it'll be third down i apologize that was joseph jackson on the throw and it'll be fourth down in eight for forsake and that concludes the first quarter and the mustangs have a 13-nothing lead and we will be back after a short intermission and here comes the forsake special teams out to start off the second quarter mustangs have a 13-nothing lead and the punt is up and it will be out of bounds it dropped at the 37 yard line but cliff but it went out of bounds at the 40 which is where clifton will begin their
drive the mustangs previous to drives on offense both ended up being touchdowns and they were hoping they can get a 3p here and get another six points on the board one receiver left to right maldonado in the backfield kyle velos takes the snap has some time looking over the middle and he's got a man for a first down and more michael kristoff on the reception that was an 18-yard reception by wide receiver michael kristoff two receivers right and one left maldonado in the backfield velos takes the snap play action pass throws right for scenari he makes the catch and he's brought out of bounds at the 43-yard line that was a gain of one on the play and it'll be second down and nine for the mustangs two receivers left one right maldonado in the
backfield velas takes the snap hands it off to maldonado who makes a very nice jump cut and will be brought down inside the 40 yard line at about the 38. five yard carry by maldonado and it'll be third down and four to go the third down and four for the mustangs at the 37 yard line the huddle breaks two receivers left none lined up on the right two people lined up in the backfield mall donato will get the carry and he will get the first down he gets a gain of about seven on that plane he'll be brought down he was brought down at the 30-yard line which is enough for a clifton first down maldonado already with nine carries in the first half two receivers right one lined up a tight end manzanado on
the backfield he will get the hand off jumps left he gets past the 20. he breaks another tackle and he's brought out bounds at the 14-yard line on a 16-yard carry for a mustangs first down jacob maldonado with another carry his 10th of the game and that one will be a yard carry the passaic indians will take their first time out that will leave two timeouts left for them and two timeouts left for the mustangs clifton using their first in the first quarter minutes and 51 seconds left on the clock here come both teams back onto the field mustangs will begin their drive at the 14-yard line after a 16-yard carry by running back jacob maldonado one receiver lined up left two lined up on the right velos play action pass rolls left looking end
zone and it is caught let's see if they've marked it in balance and the ref says touchdown and there's another touchdown for the clifton mustangs a 14-yard touchdown quarterback kyle vellis with a beautiful throw what a beautiful throwing catch by the mustangs and that will give them a 19 nothing lead stanopolis on the extra point and it's a fake he's rolling right he's throwing end zone and it is picked off but there are no returns on kicks lock kicks whether they're blocked intercepted if they take it back the returns are automatically blown dead the touchdown last play was caught by joseph able number five tight end for the mustangs and the mustangs have a 19 nothing lead with 9 minutes and 44 seconds left to go in the first half stethophilus on the kickoff the
kick is up and it is a short one there is a flag on the field and it looks like the mustangs were jumping before the kick even went off so they will be forced to move back they will re-kick from the 35-yard line due to the penalty stepophilis once again on the kickoff two men back deep to receive he's had two touchbacks today which are both good the kick is up and it will be received by physique and returned at the 15 yard line and he will get past it's a 30 yard line will be brought down at about the 34. there are multiple flags on the field okay and it is an illegal block in the back by forsaken and forsake will begin at their own 22-yard line after the penalty jackson takes the
snap he hands it off to andrew monroe for a gain of maybe one but it'll be second down and nine a quick correction from earlier earlier in the game joseph jackson number five is back there at quarterback he will take the snap and hand it off to andrew monroe who will be tackled who will be tackled down after maybe another gain of one brian feliciano on the tackle and it'll be third and nine for passaic two receivers right two receivers left shotgun formation he takes the snap he throws right he's got a man and he will be brought down at the 24 yard line and it'll be fourth down for passaic that was a gain of three on the initial play but either way it still steps up fourth down and six and they are
going to elect a punt two people back to receive for the mustangs two people back to receive look to be robins and blown apart the kick is up and it will bounce at about the 47 yard line robbins bobbles it picks it up and he gets past the 40 45 50. 45 40 and he's tackled down as he reaches the 35-yard line what a great return by by tyron robbins the ball will be spotted at the 36-yard line and that's where the mustangs will begin their drive great return there are flags on the field after the play if there are two penalties both on uh one on the mustangs and one on passaic they vote which means they both offset which means there is no loss of your age or gain of yardage for each
team both on sportsmanlike conduct so the mustangs will begin their drive where the ball was returned where the refs say it is the 35 yard line oh mustangs break the huddle one receiver left two right maldonado on the backfield velas takes the snap he's gonna throw he's looking deep for bonaparte and it is picked off slightly underthrown and it'll be forsake ball at the three yard line their drive on their own three yard line although it was an interception it isn't all that bad we still have a 19 nothing lead and the mustangs could potentially bring one of their players down who has the ball in the back of the end zone which could result in a safety so although we did turn the ball over it isn't all that bad mistake breaks the huddle
they hand it off to monroe and he will get a gain of maybe about three on the on the he'll get a gain of three on the carry and it'll be second and seven my apologies it was a gain of one on the carry and it'll be second and nine for passaic jackson takes the snap he hands it off again the ball is out it was a fumble but it looks like it was recovered by passaic a five yard carry on that plate will be third and four for forsake there was a fumble on that play but it was recovered by the indians but it'll be third down and four yards to go they have not gotten a single first down this game i don't think and it might all change here he takes the
snap he's rolling right he throws and it'll be incomplete and it'll be another three and out for the mustangs unless they elect to go for it and it looks like they won't they're bringing the punt team back onto the field what an impressive game so far by the mustangs defense every drive they have came on the field and they have completely shut out the indians this game and it's been three and out after three and out they will just bring their punter back on the field again the two people back to receive the kick for the for the mustangs are kayla bonaparte and tyron robbins who had a very nice return last last time they returned a punt and is a timeout taken by passaic with 5 minutes and 22 seconds left to go in
the first half mickey pizza and out comes the mustangs special teams right now they are just waiting on passaic um oh their punter is back there he takes the snap it's a it looked like a fake he just took it rolled out right robin's bobbles it he's going to return it and he goes past the 40 35 4 35 30. 25 is brought down inside the 20 down at the 18. tyron robbins with another impressive return this game the clifton mustang special teams is doing a very good job when it comes to returns and that was just another impressive one right there the ball is spotted at the 19-yard line three receivers left one right maldonado in the backfield velus before he takes the snap the rafts blow the whistle and it is a legal
substitution the ball is now spotted at the 14 yard line first and five for the mustangs two receivers three receivers left my apologies one right maldonado gets the hands off he gets past the 15 yard line reaches over to the 14. and it'll be a gain of four on and it'll be second and one for the mustangs second and one for the mustangs two receivers left one right shotgun formation maldonado in the backfield on velos is right velos takes the snap fakes it he's gonna take it himself and he'll be brought down past the eight yard line and flags are being thrown everywhere there's a face mask on the defense which makes it a mustangs first down it is a fast mat face mask by pacific first and goal from the four yard line maldonado
on the backfield one receiver lined up on the right two lined up on the left velos takes the snap hands it off to maldonado waiting on a signal and is first and the refs call it a touchdown it is a touchdown for the mustangs jacob maldonado with his third of the game that is jacob maldonado's third touchdown of the game the mustangs have a 25 nothing lead with three minutes and 27 seconds left to go is up by stephophilus waiting on a signal and it is good the mustangs have a 26-nothing lead and jacob maldonado just scored his third touchdown there's a little confusion on the sideline and in the end zone with the referees but they came to the conclusion that it was a mustang touchdown for jacob maldonado his third rushing touchdown of
the game and the mustangs have a 26-nothing lead a very lengthy lead and we're only in the second quarter this is actually the first time the mustangs have ever played the passage indians at night and it seems to be going very well for us because we have a 26 nothing lead and we're only in the second quarter that is very impressive by not only the offensive play but by the defensive the kick is up and it is a pretty far kick it bounces out the three and it'll be picked up and returned by forsake that is the running back number 21 returning it and he will take it past the 30 40 past midfield 40 35 out of bounds at about the 33 but there are flags flying that was number 21 and troll monroe
on the return he made a very nice play there but there are flags flying everywhere and that is coming back there was a flag on passaic i think it was an illegal block in the back and it isn't official there's an illegal block in the back by pacific which means their drive would have started about the but due to the illegal block the drive will start and the which which means the drive will end up starting at their own 20 yard line they have three minutes and 10 seconds left on the clock huddle breaks number 15 premiere bell in the backfield man in motion he hands it off to bell who gets a pretty good game looks like a gain of seven on the play and it'll be second and two josh hernandez on the
tackle second and five for passage one receiver left two right shotgun formation he takes the snap it's a handoff and he will be dropped in his tracks literally he gets the handoff and he's immediately stonewalled and he'll lose about a yard or two and it'll be third and it'll be third and six before passing the clock is winding down two minutes and 16 seconds left and counting the huddle breaks one receiver left two right bell in the backfield jackson takes the snap he's gonna go deep and it is nearly picked off but swatted away a great play by number six donovan swayze and it'll be fourth and five and it's another three now for the mustangs or another three not for passaic i'm sorry grape defense by the mustangs and they're just gonna bring their
punk team out every single drive pacific has had so far has ended in a punt and they're about to bring their punt team back out here again squeezing bone apart back there to return the kicks both return the pump the snap is taken the punt is low takes a bounce at the 47 picked up by donovan swayze he'll make a move past midfield makes another move gets past the 40 35 30 brought out of bounds at about the 29 yard line with a very nice return and there is an injury on the field for forsake a man very slow to get up and he seems okay and out comes the mustangs offense once again a minute and 30 left on the clock and the drive will begin at the 30-yard line every punt return so
far has been good that one is another good one and this time by donovan swayze mustangs break the huddle shotgun formation by velas three receivers right one left maldonado in the backfield fellas takes the snap he's going to throw he's looking he's got a phone apart on a screen and the refs say the pass falls incomplete although donna although caleb bonaparte claims that he caught it refs pull the whistle before the snap is taken flag on the play illegal substitution by the passaic indians five-yard penalty second and five for the mustangs a minute and 25 left on the clock we got a 26 nothing lead two receivers right two receivers left maldonado in the backfield shotgun formation velus takes a snap has some time he's gone in deep and he's gone right inside the five
yard line that was a bomb of a play a 26 yard throwing catch and it is another touchdown for the mustangs unreal the mustangs have a 32-nothing lead i mean ladies and gentlemen we have a 32-nothing lead and we're only in the second quarter i mean we are absolutely killing them right now sethophilus on the extra point the kick is up and it is through 33 nothing for the mustangs what a great first half so far for the mustangs we still have a minute left well i mean we are absolutely destroying them right now 33 nothing that was jacob maldonado on the last touchdown i believe from four yards out that is his fourth touchdown of the game and we are only in the second quarter i mean we are absolutely dominating right now ladies
and gentlemen this is a great game so far by the mustangs the kickoff takes a bounce and they're going to return it and it is a very good return for passaic number 15 on the return bell there is a flag on the play though still waiting on a signal see what the penalty is and is holy against clifton which will tack on a few extra yards on the initial return by pasek ball spotted at the 35-yard line jackson doesn't take the snap that is the running back who takes the direct snap and he's going to take it himself past the 15 10 5 out of bounds at the 3 yard line but there is a flag on the play it was a direct snap number 21 and jerome monroe and there is an injured there
is an injured passage indian on the ground out many people from the mustang sideline and people from the pacific sideline coming to help out the injured pacific india shout out to joni serpaco and the injured pacific indian is being helped off the field that is number 21 and sean monroe that is the running back and he has been doing a lot for this team today when it comes to special teams returns to just running the ball on offense it's never good to see an injured player on the field that very big gain by monroe did come back due to a penalty i believe it was illegal touching by a passage and the ball spotted at the 36-yard line they break the huddle one receiver left to right jackson takes the snap hands it off to
number 15 from near bell and he'll get a gain of about two on the run and it'll be second down and eight i believe josh hernandez on the tackle second and nine for forsake as the clock winds down 17 seconds left 10 seconds and counting two receivers right one left let's see if they can get the ball off five four they do take the snap they hand it off and he is so long and that will end the first half the the passage indians nothing your clifton mustangs 33 joseph abel made the final tackle and the mustangs will head back to the locker room with a 33-nothing lead and the halftime show is coming up it will be your clifton mustangs band enjoy it ladies and gentlemen what's up brother what's up man how you
doing good what are you up to how about you all right yes no and out on the field is your clifton mustangs band for your halftime entertainment one of the best bands across all of new jersey is okay truckers oh he's pretty uh what's oh commentators hey good shots oh foreign our communities elections it's fun uh hey of the men and women so everything is going forward i tried your brother text me oh yes one hopefully you guys enjoyed that halftime show by your cult and mustangs watching banner outcome the mustangs just a quick recap on the first half the mustangs have a 33 to nothing lead and jacob maldonado running back has four touchdowns kyle valles won is it awesome right okay next time you guys come here we're back yes secrets what's up
man uh places you're tired okay the clifton mustang started off the first half of receiving which means now they'll be kicking off is and up is the kick and it will take a bounce at the five that will go into the end zone which is another touch back which means the the indians will start out on the 20-yard line the mosaic indians have not even gotten a first down i think they either got one or zero first downs the entire first half and the mustangs every drive have made them pump the ball except for the final drive of the game where they just stopped them when they were on the 32 yard line which was the final drive of the half the mustangs defense is out there they are ready huddle breaks one receiver right
two left jackson takes the snap direct snap to monroe 18 yard line which will be a loss of two second and twelve before the indians another great player by this by this mustangs defense is just they have been doing a very good job all around all right two receivers right one left jackson number 21 and troll monroe takes the snap he's here to throw and it is caught but the receiver is hit hard and he'll get about two yards back and it'll be third down two receivers right one left diaz my apologies looking for number 44 and it'll be fourth down and nine and it looks like they are bringing the pun team out eight minutes 57 seconds left to go clock is winding down two people back to return for the mustangs and it
looks like the mustangs are going to start their drive at the 40-yard line after the punt was blocked by the mustang special teams the mustangs are doing a very good job all around out comes their offense which this game so far the mvp for the clifton offense i'd say is jacob maldonado four touchdowns in the first half unbelievable game for him so far although kyle willis has been having a pretty good game two people on the back field receiver on each side press pull the whistles there's a flying on the fly there was a flag on the field one of the reps did throw a flag but it ended up being a timeout both teams will return onto the field handoff goes to maldonado will be blocked down maldonado actually before this carry his last
