080won the Nobel or Pulitzer prizes name the last half a dozen Academy Award winners for best actor or actress name the last decade's worth of world sea arese winners now again I know some of you could probably do this I could not how'd you do when you thought of those questions the point is none of us remember the headliners of yesterday there are no second rate Achievers they are the best in their fields but the Applause dies Awards tarnish achievements are forgotten accolades and certificates are buried with their owners but here's another see how you do on this list a few teachers who aided your journey through school name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time name five people who have taught you something worthwhile think of a few people who have

081made you feel special appreciated and loved think of five people you enjoy spending time with was that an easier test I see a lot of you you passed that test right the lesson the people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials the most money or the most Awards they are simply the ones who care the most and I think you would join me in saying through your Round of Applause that these two young women up here care a whole heck of a lot don't they now so again congratulations to our 2024 teacher and Educational Service professional of the years and let's give a round of applause not only for them but all the wonderful teachers and staff members here [Applause] all right who wants to celebrate now
