011and i'm leaving a comment for the july 21 board meeting agenda topic bd3 dear superintendent and school board members as you know there have been some changes since you made the decision to make masks optional in our schools this year covet cases are on the rise due to the surge from the delta variant the cdc has recommended continued mask wearing for all unvaccinated and the american academy of pediatrics has now officially recommended masks and schools for everyone over the age of two regardless of vaccination status last year under your leadership we minimized the impacts of this pandemic in our schools my son is a student at temperatures elementary school where we only had five cases last year because of consistent inform enforcement of the well-informed policies that we had on covet 19 safety your decisions
