Families received an email with their student's number last week. Today we will have a live drawing for availability in our mixed age preschool classes at both McGowen and The Learning Experience. The good news is that all students today will have a preschool spot in one of our locations for the next school year. We will select 3-year-olds first and place them based on their first choice unless that first choice location
002has been filled. We have 10 spots available for 3-year-olds at McGowen. We have 24 spots available at The Learning Experience for 3-year-olds. Following that selection, we will select 4-year-olds and place them based on their first choice unless that first choice location has been filled. We have eight spots available for 4-year-olds at McGowen. We have 33 spots available at The Learning Experience for 4-year-olds. We will now start the lottery drawing. Congratulations to number 53. There'll be step-up nights, which will be held in late spring for both locations. This is where families will find out specifics about our pre-K program and get a chance to meet our team of teachers and staff. Stay tuned for a date and specific information regarding these events. As a reminder, enrolled students at both locations are expected to follow the district attendance policy. Excessive tardiness and absences affect your students' overall learning. Please be aware that excessive absences may result in your student being dropped from the roster. Required conferences will be scheduled once your student accrues 10 or more unexcused absences.
