006Frank is it good do you guys hear yeah yeah okay yep great so we are here on behalf of that you can Township Education Association to discuss the clubs and activities we received an email from dr. Glasper saying that he was going to table that vote for this evening I had a couple of things I wanted to say about it when I came back on and looked at the agenda I noticed that it's still on the agenda so I'm not quite sure what's going to happen with that but I did want to say that the past practice is that all of our clubs and activities are usually paid on June 15th the governor of new jersey signed 8-3 904 into all effective April 14th 2020 a dash three no 904 provides for the continued payment
007of benefits compensation and a monument to school district employees I took that right off of the website we are the 20 district in Burlington County that NJEA is aware of that has had to jump through etudes to have numbers paid all other districts are paying their staff via produce typing and hours as per a - 3 9 and 4 our members are also entitled to detainment but the law does not speak that documentation is needed that he should just compete Russ is going to take over and then since this money has already we were just wondering when our members can expect to be paid and this is table until June 25th live our members be able to count on those monies in their bank accounts on June 30th since that is the last day of
008our contract for 2019 2020 we can't see anyone but we just thank you for your time and we appreciate you listening to us and we'll just wait to see what happens and what the Board of Education decides to do thank you are there any other phone calls mr. summers not at the moment okay so it's public session over then doing a way to know one more minute how somebody go ahead wait a minute if you want it just takes a little bit for the phone call to reach me from okay I am certainly going to answer them but I just want to make sure public session is over so we don't get similar ones and I have to answer at four different times no probably 724 we'll just wait till 725 sounds good okay 7:25

Blackford I appreciate that thank you very much I would like to tell the Ishaan Township Education Association that the board is very very much behind teachers and we do not want any conflict with the teachers at all this has been a very complex issue because there are just so many stipends and then of course you know there are legal opinions and a number of other things and I had the resolution on today I pulled it what's gonna happen is I'll make the resolution again for next week and then you know we'll do the best we can to get to pace I do not expect it to go that long
010I don't think it will be on the June 30th pay roll but it'll be shortly thereafter and I also have asked for a meeting with Russ and Debbie to discuss some of the issues we have but again it's a very complex issue and I understand you know what the Association NJEA says and of course I've read the law also but I want to make sure this is done exactly perfectly and so that's why you know I did pull it and that's why I would like a meeting with Debbie and Russ so again we're gonna look after the teachers we're gonna do the right thing and I do realize it is fast practice in evesham to approve just in the end of May every other district I've been in they approved it at the end of
011June but I understand if that's the way you know you do an EVM and I you know we certainly did try to do that but there's people absent there was issues with collecting the records and you know just a variety of other things so again I would like a meeting and you do not you know we will be I'll have the resolution for the 25th thank you dr. Bosher all right so with that being said we're gonna move into item for a new business dr. Blackford indicated that 4.2 is being tabled until June 25th at the regular scheduled board meeting so I will at this point need a motion to approve item 4.1 the approval of the superintendent's contract I have a motion by mr.
