[Applause] this evening's program will be divided Institute the state parks the first one will focus on acknowledging and celebrating outstanding outstanding accomplishments and valuable contributions made by our students our school community in the second part we will proudly recognize that the students who have met the rigorous academic behavioral and attendance requirements qualifying them for advances in the ninth grade although tonight's event March is one step in their life's 30

003for a few rules [Applause] thank everyone will not take a lot of time I want to focus on our students Tonight is their special moment but I would be remiss if I didn't say a few uh words tonight so I want to thank all the parents and family members for all of your support in helping you to get our students to this point let's give the parents around the wall [Applause] I'd also like to thank our Board of Education our faculty staff for all their efforts and hard work throughout the years older patience and guidance uh they they just really have done a nice job uh I would like to give that more out of the ball please and as a parent who has a child finishing 8th grade myself I know what some of
004our parents are sitting there thinking wow time went fast right withdrawals are thinking middle school at times shouldn't go fast enough the middle school stuff right but we were very proud of all of you uh here tonight all of our students I'd like to be among the first to say congratulations to the pitcher Middle School 8th grade class of 2023. remember that Success is Not defined solely by your grades or your achievements but it is by the character and compassion that you so be kind to one another respect differences and always lend a helping hand and together you can help create a brighter and more inclusive future so we can't wait to see what you do next congratulations you still have a room to go at high school where we wish you the best and

[Applause] thank you Dr Hannah students of the month this year were nominated each month by the team of teachers and then voted upon by the school-wide teachers we honor those students who were going above and beyond not only in the classroom which is everywhere in the building being an overall well-rounded student when they won the award they received an engraved plan they also received their photo in the main lobby and their names were announced during the morning announcements at this time we're going to honor those students of the model as soon as we hear your name please stay in at your seat and
