Please stand for the pledge. I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and all. Hey, I'll call this meeting to order. Um, we have some good news. Robin, >> yes. >> Good evening. Hey, I just want to recognize the Altitude Singapore spouses. U, Mrs. Smith and I had a great honor of hosting the gala uh where they raised about $14,000 which is about half and half between >> and they have just been super supportive of us and we just want to say thank you. >> We have a certificate for you guys. So I'll give you that. Can we take a picture? >> Yes. Thanks. >> Ready? One, two, three. Smile. We're getting pictures way before and after.

Bye. >> I don't know. Are they in need? >> Moving down to reminder of the annual student meals fee increases hearing >> June 16th at 5:00 p.m. Reminder of the budget hearing meeting June 16 at 510 camp and then the board of trustees report. Does anybody have anything? No. >> Any public input? Okay. Um look for approval of the agenda or addendums. So move second. >> All in favor? I >> the consent agenda. Does anybody want any changes? >> No. Here. >> So I take a motion to approve the consent agenda. So second. >> All in favor? I No unfinished business and new business outlet. >> There you go. We'll keep it quick. Keep this thing rolling. >> Yeah. >> Hey, >> they're counting. >> They're asking for your pre-approval to award the contract of

the Mountain Home High School office expansion project and the window replacement. Um, we have bids that are going to be due on June 2nd. The notice of awards will be on June 3rd. hoping to get uh started on that project on June 12th. The admin office area, oh the admin office area, looking to remodel and expand that approximately 200 days to get that project done. The window replacement 440 days. So estimated cost of $2.85 million. We have three bid alternates uh to that project. We have uh roof warranty over the admin area. We have the foyer storefront windows, the doors and the windows of the whole foyer. And then we have the the gy the wait room, those windows over there of the old wood shop as bid alternates. So those will be in addition

to the $2.85 million. So um any questions on the project or anything like that? Uh we are a little week off as far as because of just a notice in the paper. So we're already one week behind. >> So did that change the bid date? >> It it changed the bid date everything by a week. So and so that's where we're at now with it. So we're just looking to get the pre-approval so we can get started without having to come back to the board for approval as long as everything's kind of within the estimate of what we're looking for. >> So that that was my next question. If if it comes in way over budget, then I would be concerned about doing a pre-approval, >> right? >> But >> as long as it's within

that estimate, I think that's kind of what we're looking for is get started on on time. >> And trust, you can also if you make a motion to do this, you can make it with the caveat that if it's over a certain amount, it needs to come back to the building. And we did that with the the textbooks and stuff last year that Jeff had to come back and it would so we motion we prove it that 2.8 plus 5% or something like that. Anything above that come back and the alternates you don't accept. So if we set an upper limit then >> right yeah >> the alternates >> those are just subject of if they come back within within a reasonable price then that's something that we can look at but if they're just

you know what we're looking at with the design west as far as what the engineers and and those folks are looking at as far as what should be anticipated as a cost >> then is there a priority for the algorithm? No, I would say I say the roof warranty is probably the the biggest one just because you have the existing uh membrane up there over the office and then how do you match that up with the expansion. So, and then you're just looking at let's say how do you how do you address up the front of the building while you've done the other half of the academic area and office area. So, there's opportunity to do that if the price is right. >> So, 2.85 is >> 2.85. Yes. Is the estimate does that include

the alternates or >> No, it does not include the alternate. >> You have no estimates? >> I do not. Then I didn't get any of those. >> No. 5% over would be 2.9. Okay. I make a motion to preapprove the acceptance of bid the bid for the his school addition and window replacements up to a limit of $3 million. >> Second. >> All in favor? >> All right. Uh approve the Mountain Home School District 2020 2026 2027 education plan. Okay. >> Yeah. Looking for uh approval of the next year's uh school education plan. Um in your packets, you just see that there in K through K through six just lists the subjects that will be taught and secondary is just listing what core course offerings will be offered for next school year. >> Does anybody

have any questions? The motion to approve this education plan. Make a motion to approve the education plans for 2627. >> Second. All >> in favor? >> I hold C revision first reading for special education policy 2400. Um in in that uh in that policy um there's just some ISBA is updating some language in there as far as recommend what's recommended to have in the policy and we are removing the revision dates from the policy. Those are the only changes to the policy. It's a very short um straightforward policy and just allows us to whenever there's changes within the manual from the state, we automatically um in line with that so we don't have to have board approval every time there's a change to the to the manual. >> Anybody have any questions? >> I'll take

a motion to approve the first reading of the special education policy. I so move second. All >> in favor? 95. >> And the last one, policy replacement, first reading, section 504 of the regional resolution act of 1973, policy 2014. >> What we're we already have this policy in place. Uh we're originally we're looking to adopt it when there was no need to. So all we're doing at this point in time is converting our existing policy to the ISBA policy and format. Take a motion to approve. Second. All there. I right. No executive session tonight. I'll take a motion to adjourn. Sorry. But I do have this one. >> The future meetings. >> Hey, did you guys all take note of this? >> All right.
