We'll move on to legislative updates. Um I really think these guys are bored at this point because of some of the things that we're seeing come through for re- good news is the mandatory recess K8 is dead at this point. Came back today. Did it? Yep, sure did. You have the power of good, yeah. Great news. The moment of silence one is moving through though. Um The autonomy one, so they've revamped that one. It was originally towards charter schools only. Now they're trying to do it for both public and charter. So as long as we're meeting expectations and and a certain percentage of where we're supposed to be for ISATs and whatnot, we have the ability to not have to report following year, possibly. So that was one of the big uh the questions they

had was how how can they make it apply to um public schools as well. Well, it won't affect anybody. So they brought it back, made it out of made it out of house ed. We'll see how it does in Um that's all I've got for now. Still looking Well, they were looking at the end of the month and now they're looking at the middle of next month. All right. And they still have a adjournment. Yeah, correct. adjournment. And house ed is a privilege committee, so we may see more stuff up until the day they decide to quit. But I noticed a special meeting executive session only for April 7th at 5:30. Uh Mr. Guilford, if you'd like to give your report. Uh Mr. Chairman members of the board, a couple of things here. First, I'd

like to introduce you to Marvin Alvarado, our new Vector Technologies. So, Marvin, this board Mr. welcome. And this board is welcome. I you'll notice Albert isn't here tonight. He's currently at the planning and zoning meeting. Uh it's a conditional use permit for the high school project. So, that that meeting is at same time as our meeting and that's also where trusty United is at. Um with that kind of update on that high school project, uh optimistically shooting for uh going out to bid here in beginning of April with processes there and so hopefully breaking ground end of May. Uh the the Stevenson project, we're waiting that it submit final documents to close out the design phase. Our architect, they will have those to us. They let us know by the 23rd, so we'll be able

to close that out once we submit those and then working with uh both architect and uh Bennington on the next portion of this, which is the construction phase. So, there's about 13 different items we need to put together for that. Um and then the last one I have here is just an update on Friday's lockdown. We're going to meet with Mount Holly Police Department on the 31st just to kind of go over communication that that some things we can tighten up between uh law enforcement agencies and the school district as a event is occurring, but overall that went very well uh with both law enforcement and notification out from from parents. Of course, there's always going to be some that want to know what's going on in live time as it's occurring and that's a

whole another set of issues, but those are the updates I have for this month. So, be happy to have answered questions right now. So, I know we're still waiting on the appraisal. How much of a stoppage is that at this point? >> We're in pretty good shape with you know, if anything you can submit. You can't The only thing that like the lease hold up will do is you just can't break ground, but we can actually once we have design or construction grant and we can go out to bid at that point and then it'll just be dependent on on the lease being fully executed and then once that's done then they can break ground. Thank you. Yeah. All right. Are there trustees public and legal report? I have none. None. No. No. So, I

myself and Mr. Gilbert testified against some legislation that was bad for the district. Um well, what two did you do? Yeah. All right. That's all we've got. At this time. All right. Moving on, we will uh We have anybody signed up for public comment? I will sit out here. Okay. Public comment and interrogation. So, we'll move on to approval of the agenda. So moved. Second. All in favor? Aye. Uh consent agenda. Take the most of it. Please let me know if somebody wants something pulled out. I move that we approve the consent agenda. All in favor? Aye. Regular delegation and unfinished business. Okay, the board presentation is cancelled. That will be uh, our meeting. Policy revision. Mr. Gilbert, you're up again. Mr. Chairman, members of the board, the policy revision, um, I am going to

ask that you table the first reading of that. There are some additions that we need to do to that policy before we bring it to the board. So, if we can table policy revision, So, I'll take that. I'll take a a vote. I'll take a motion to table that. So moved. Second. All in favor? I. Motion carried. Policy replacement. Mr. Chairman, members of the board, you have one policy that's in the replacement cycle here. Again, just switching over to from an existing format to ISBA format. This is the fund balance and keeping of C policy 7121. So, again, this is a first and only reading of that policy. Are there any questions? No. I'll take a motion. So moved. Second. All in favor? I. Motion carried. Move to executive session. So, I'll take a motion

to adjourn. So moved. Second. All in favor? I. All right, we are adjourned. Is that all right, Herbert? Is that good? You can say Right.
