001Mr. President, Mr. Mr. >> He told me he was going to call. >> Okay. I texted him in person. >> Um, Mrs. Olsen >> here, >> Dr. Sult, >> Mrs. Hunt >> here, >> Mrs. Cot here, and Miss Venezuela >> here. release that from national motion to adopt the agenda. >> I will second that. All those IT >> to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for it stands nationy and for all. [laughter] Amen. receive public comments before the certified [clears throat] contract employment for Francisco. >> Yes, Mr. President, members of the board, um, Franciscoca Lopez Lopez is now certified. Great news. Our culinary arts teacher ineligible for issuance of a certified contract for the remainder of the 2526 school year. No board action necessary. This is a study session
002item only. There you see some information uh there from Miss uh Miss Lopez. So uh this is great news. >> Any questions or comments on the next item of the 2026 board meeting calendar. >> Mr. President, members of the board, the board is expected to adopt a board meeting calendar at the beginning of each fiscal year. Additional board meetings may be scheduled with a 24-hour notice. Scheduled meeting dates may be changed within within a 24-hour notice. Below are the proposed study and regular session meetings for 2026. Yearly calendar is attached with affected holidays marked in red and meetings marked in green. We have for January uh that'll be the second week after we come back the week of the 5th to the 9th. Uh February 2nd, the 4th, March 2nd and the 4th. um April
0036th uh and the 8th, May 4th and the 6th, June 8th and June 10th, July 6th and the 8th, August 10th and the 12th. Once again, that's the second week of school. The first week, the first day is August 3rd, September 14th and the 16th, October 12th and the 14th, which is after the fall break, November 2nd and the 4th and December 7th and 9th. So, um, no board action necessary. This is a study session item only. >> I have a question. Um, I'm noticing that most of these dates are the second or the third week, which but why are February and March the first week? I believe because normally we we have them uh on the first full week of the month and so uh >> that was the second week of the month.
004You normally have them >> well uh if I understand correctly normally try and have them the first full week unless there's there's there's a discrepancy. So uh January the first full week would be um would be coming back right that first back after the two week break it might be a little challenging >> and then um I believe you go to June the first full week of June is actually the 7th through the 13th because uh May goes to I believe May 31st on that Sunday. So that kind of And if there was that for a curve ball um August 10th and 12th we I believe the recommendation and it was a good recommendation from yourself also about >> oh I remember that >> yeah not having the meetings the first day of that that
005was really a a big challenge. Um, September, as I look here, um, September 7th is Labor Day, I believe. So, that would make it hard to, uh, you wouldn't be able to do that. That first full week is the 6th to the 12th. So, Labor Day is on that 7th and then um October is perfect for us to have the first full week, but we have a fall break the first week, the fifth, and the night. So, there's, you know, there's several discrepancies that normally don't happen. And um normally it's just the January and the August and the October and September are good, but for some reason or another, there's a fall break in October and then there's that Labor Day in September. Anything else I might have missed, Angelina? So I have a question.
006>> Have you arranged a cater for the meetings next year? >> Cater for the meetings next year. Uh, we're gonna have a Not yet, Mr. [laughter] Not yet. But I hope that answers any questions. Try to get this as right on as possible. There's always there's always a little kink in the system, but but um if we do come later on, we do realize, hey, we need to correct this, we can always bring it back and ask for board approval to just make up some adjustments. >> Okay. And the only thing I see trying to find out my phone and check it be October meeting. I will be still out of town that meeting before the board meeting. to figure out how to have that can absolutely there any more discussion or question on that
007item? If not, I'll go on to the next one which is approval of disposable contaminator and broken off. >> Mr. Mr. President, members of the board, the 27th laminator used districtwide stopped. Did I read that correctly? >> 27 inch. >> The 27 Okay, I'm sorry. The 27 inch down. Sorry. Uh, new district stopped working and needed to be replaced. Maintenance ground staffed an inventory of equipment stored under the football bleachers. 29 items with tags and 15 plus other items such as tumbling masks are listed for disposal. Per statute ARS 15341G and 15342. School districts must complete a request for authorization to dispose of district property form and submit it to the governing board to approve it prior to disposal, trade in, sale or transfer. There's no board action necessary. This is a study session item
008only. >> Question we use those tumbling mats a lot. >> I don't know if they do anymore, but we use them a lot for I believe some of those mats are in real are not in real shape right now. I know we have some new ones, but I think these are probably pretty pretty worn out, right, D? >> Yeah, they've they've been back underneath there packed in there getting full of rats and everything else for at least five years since I've been here. So, >> I know I used >> We still have some some other red and white ones. Yeah, we still have red and white ones in the gym that we use still except these are just they've been out there underneath getting weathered and animals and everything else. >> Anybody ever buy that
009stuff? >> Sometimes I think we worked with Tyler or something through an auction. >> So years ago. >> Yeah. We did it with the desk replacements, too. >> Okay. something. >> So, what happens if they don't buy it? Don't we just throw it away? >> I believe yes, I believe we can. Yes, we always try and have it do an auction first and but that that's what happens. >> Mr. Present members of the board Susana Leon and Brady Berjo have submitted a list of library books to be weeded from the collection. These books will be replaced with updated copies, new books, graphic novels, and in most cases include a digital library copy for students to read online. [clears throat] Per statute uh ARS 15341G and 15342. School districts must complete a request for authorization to
010dispose of district property form and submit to the governing board to approve it prior to disposal trading and sale or transfer. There is no board action necessary. This is a study session item only. >> Are we talking lots of >> what I can see? Yes. >> Yes. old, damaged. Um, they just also have not been checked out for for a year, in some cases a number of years, but they're also pretty damaged. It's if if library books are like they look like they were purchased in the 80s or the 90s, then they'll get rid of those copies and then buy the newer copies that look, you know, have a better cover or that, you know, have more appealing more appealing way so that they can The other thing that they like to do is um
011a lot of publishers are coming out with um like comic books. So like your regular Charles Dickens and you know the Christmas Carol stuff like that but coming out it still has all the words that they still have to read but it has it so that it's easier for them to to follow. And then sometimes we have we do have the digital library um so that they can go on to like a Kindle or even a phone while and while the library is closed and still look at the books that we have in the library. So it works out published in 1952. >> Any further discussion on that item? >> Okay, we'll go on to the next item. First reading and review of the new board policy on security. >> Mr. President, members of the
012board, uh in October, the board discussed cameras and [snorts] security in classrooms and on campus. The district's attorney has submitted the attached policy for review. Uh if the board would like to see the policy again for a second reading adoption, the proposed item will be ECAA security cameras on campus. No [clears throat] board action necessary. This is a study session item only. So I just I'm just going to highlight some of the key parts here. First by start off by saying this is really the focus of this is for school safety also for discipline uh any discipline classroom incidents or just any incidents outside of the classroom that maybe there wasn't another adult present or there wasn't um another student witness is to make sure everything is done the best possible way. but also re
013relating to teacher parent discrepancies just to make sure we have it there and and we will have a school safety team that will serve as the designate. I know that the policy here says the superintendent or designate. So we have school safety team to work together. Uh we have the principal, the dean of students, the SRO, the campus security guard, uh the IT manager and the transportation manager. They will have access to look at the video. will also be used to to be able to check each other and make sure that we're following procedures accordingly. So what I have here you have in your attachment um that I wanted to make sure and send to you Friday so you have also additional time to because it is it is pretty uh lengthy. Uh the first
014page is security surveillance cameras. Uh district property ensure the health, welfare and safety of all students, employees and visitors to safeguard uh district facilities uh vehicles and equipment. Let me see here. Um it should not be used in locations where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy. District shall notify employees, parents, and students through handbooks, information guides, and other means of communication that surveillance may occur on school buses in our district property. Employees or students vandalize, damage, disable, or render, inoperable surveillance, cameras, and equipment shall be responsible for such losses, damages, and cost. Subject to appropriate disciplinary action and referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities. Video recordings may be used as evidence in any disciplinary action. Video recordings shall be disclosed to law enforcement personnel and to school officials with legitimate educational interest. Parents or
015guardians of students with disciplinary violations may view the relevant portions of any video relating to the charge upon a written request to the school principal. Uh but because we also have family educational rights and privacy act fura copies of the video recordings containing other identifiable students shall not be released to school officials without legitimate educational interest or to students or parents without the written permission of the parent or guardian of all such identifiable students or through subpoena or court order. The district shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws related to record maintenance and retention. Go to the regulation now. Uh the first page of the regulation security um camera location operation control buildings and grounds equipped with video monitoring devices video surveillance areas where surveillance has pro proven to be necessary as a
016result of threats, prior property damages or security incidents. Cameras placed outside position only where is necessary to protect external assets or provide for the personal safety of individuals on school grounds. Surveillance cameras located internally shall not be directed to look through windows. Cameras shall not be used to monitor inside locker rooms and restrooms or areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy. Superintendent or designate in this case or school safety team shall be the one responsible to manage and audit the use of security of monitoring cameras. Individuals authorized by the superintendent in accordance with policy have access to the software. permitted access to view live or record video. Cameas cameras will be visible. Um cameras may be placed in classrooms but only with the consent of the superintendent. Notification sites advising users of the
017premises of video surveillance practices should notify individuals of the area in which surveillance is conducted and we would ask for uh from our legal department for examples of signs from other districts just so we can follow the best practices. Um, next page. All staff shall be made aware of the district's video surveillance guidelines and practices. A video recording of actions by students may be used by administrative as evidence of any disciplinary action brought against students arising under the students conduct in or about district's property. Video recordings of students, staff, or others may be reviewed purpose of determining adherence to board policy of school rules. Video recordings may be released to 30 parties, but it must be in conformance with the provisions contained in the input. In the event of a catastrophic health and safety emergency,
018video may be shared with law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of students. The boards administrators video surveillance for inquiries and proceedings related to law enforcement, deterrence, and student discipline. All video records should should not uh all video records not in use should be saved on secure digital storage. The superintendent design offer as access to all video records. A log shall be maintained of all episodes of access to or recording materials. Video records shall be retained for 15 days and then be overwritten. Video records that contain personal information used to make a decision directly affecting an individual however may be retained for a minimum of one year. Superintendent or design shall ensure that the video release form is completed before disclosing video to appropriate authorities. that that that will also check with our our
019legal department as far as just to follow what other districts are doing. Um next page uh all recordings shall be disposed of in a secure manner. Only individuals specifically authorized by the superintendent or designate shall have access to video monitors while they are in operation. They also must sign off agreeing uh to AUSD sur usage. Uh video records should be viewed on a need to know basis only. Also video monitors have controlled access to password protection. Uh if you look down at camera location, operation control, transportation, uh supervisor, uh school buses, monitoring devices, video monitoring equipment shall be in operation, monitor student behavior. And so uh we go on to the next page. Um video records released to third parties or applicants in conformance with the permissions contained in the family education rights and privacy
020act fura. Um the last part the last section exhibit for this policy uh goes goes over the purpose again the main purpose of security cameras at Aaho Unified School District safe environment for students assist with investigating situations where video evidence can help discover details. Uh purpose is also for uh students is for safety uh and also just to to make sure the classroom instruction is all is safe at all times. um video only, no audio. Federal and state laws that limit wiretapping and ease dropping. Security cameras will be set to record and watch video, but no audio. And once again, it just has there the access and I shared with you our school safety team will have access to work together. Um it's also based on camera access and based on limiting risk and liability.
021Users will agree to these guidelines. Um the very last page, uh agree not to share any recordings unless approved by the superintendent. Video recordings will only be shared with police when approved by the superintendent. Recordings will not be sent to any form that may be forwarded or transferred. They will not be shared via unsecured email. So those are the main points. It's it's it's a lot of a lot of uh key information and details but um as far as like with uh just some additional point security surveillance cameras notification signs advising users people here we'll ask the legal department for signs examples from other districts video release form regulation on page two um ensuring a video release form will ask the legal department for examples from other districts and video monitoring access viewing Only individuals
022authorized shall have access to video monitors while they are in operation. Those with authorized access will sign off agreeing to AUSD surveillance usage. Once again, we'll ask the department for examples from other districts, artifacts that we can use. So, um, thanks for your information. Any any questions or comments? So if somebody wants to look at this the videotapes real time, do they have to log log into a log to do that or and then log back out? I believe so. If I understood this correctly, you know, we would always what we always do when in doubt we'll we'll consult with our legal department to make sure like the I think they call the chain of custody to make sure that okay, who was there at this time? What were they doing? We checked out. That's
023why I think it's good to have a school safety team so so people can check each other and make sure that you know we always have at least two people that's not more present during that process when that's taking place. But we can ask our legal department for some additional guidance but how are other districts doing it? How can we do it areas similar to maintain best practices? So so let's say David wants to see what's going on on campus. Will he have the capability of being able to access all these cameras so he can see what's going on throughout the campus? >> But but we'll have to make sure like like with with everything's in line with FRA. Every situation is going to be so so so uh so unique. So um we'll make
024sure that we're following the protocol accordingly. And like I said, this will be something new, but at least it's it's it's should you guys, you know, decide to put this on the agenda for Wednesday, and vote for it to become policy, we'll make sure that we're following, you know, where we step correctly. I'm all for it. I'm just trying to figure out if if he will have the have this the tool that he can check the campus from it from you know administrative offices and look out over the whole campus and see what's going on. You know I don't know if that's something you want but and then the other thing is how many additional cameras you think you're going to need? Well, uh, that's something we could look into with our I know we
025have a cops grant, right, Miss? Yes. And so, we have that in place where we'll have we'll have additional, uh, cameras as needed. I know we have 11 right now, right? >> Um, we have in the grand 15 CH52. This is the one that the one that has a multi different lenses. The one with four different lens. So, 15 of those was in the brand. So you putting those up in addition to the ones that we have or to replace the ones we have? >> Um my understanding it's in addition Mr. George would have the blueprint of you know where can you systematically put around campus >> and just just just for for everyone's information and I'm only saying this I'm not saying this because while other districts do this but I'm just sharing with
026you my experience. I know one of the previous the previous district I came from their high school I'm not saying we're going to have that many cameras but they had 88 cameras. We're nowhere close to that, but the layout is very similar. So, um, other schools are doing this. So, we'll make sure that we're doing it right with being strategic. Those cameras are very state-of-the-art. And so we already have the whole perimeter with PV and ricatas and we have the real also which aren't as powerful. But um this is going to be a this will be a positive and making sure that this unemployment is good which one of this previously that there's not those discrepancies or this this maybe this adult says this and this adult says this is what happened and this adult
027doesn't believe that. You can always go to this is where the cameras show. >> And will every classroom have a camera then? >> I believe so. That's the set of it in every class. >> How many how many classrooms do not have cameras right now? >> Um came >> I have a building that's in building one. >> What about elementary? >> Elementary that should this should be >> I think primary wing had five rooms. Um there's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 12. I think 13 right now 13 rooms have cameras and we're just we're just going to them for there's a discipline issue and and to make sure administration, campus security is making the right decision. We're using that to help prepare any any uncertainty, but we really kind of
028need to have a policy in place for our legal department to continue with schoolwide and what we talked about. >> Do the school buses have cameras now? I believe they I believe one one does, right? >> One does. >> The one that goes down south the one that we have the activity bus. Yeah. So, the one that goes for away games, the the big the big bus that has the nice chairs, that one has a that came with a camera. We haven't actively put cameras in any of the buses, but that came with one. So, we have a a setup that we can use through um and it as soon as it the bus turns on and takes off, it starts recording. >> So, those buses that go south, those are county buses, right? >>
029Yes. So it wouldn't be up to us for camera that be their decision. >> They have cameras too, >> do they? >> They do. >> But we don't have access to those. >> Anything else on this? >> I appreciate it. I'm glad you're doing it. >> Sure. >> There's nothing else on it and we'll go to the next item which is reporting. >> Yes. U Mr. President, members of the board. Um the next item, Angelina is going to give you guys a uh a cliffnotes version of of uh of this like a summary of the new setup. We're going away from board docks to diligent some uh you know some features and does look a little bit different but it's just you know you just got to keep changing with the times and this is
030what we're going to now. So uh I'll turn it over to Angelina to share with you all the new details of our new online system starting January. So I we got a a bunch of emails in June, I think July about trainings doing that. Um Diligent is a parent company. They actually own Bordox. Um and they're going and moving to a new updated system. Um I asked them if we could stay with Boardocks and they said no. So we really don't have a choice. Um I would like to stay with what we're comfortable with, but everybody's upgrading and like Dr. title sets. Um, we have to kind of change with the times. A lot of these things I believe like um a lot of the things are going to make um the meetings a little
031easier, but it is going to take some getting used to. It doesn't look like it normally looks um so a little bit harder to navigate. >> It's a little bit harder to navigate, but I think once we get the hang of it, it'll be a lot easier. Um this the the the public section as soon as people log in or they come to to where we are um they'll see it switches. Thank you. Um it'll show the upcoming meeting. It'll show um what each one is and then it'll have a list of the most recent meetings. It takes pictures from our website. So, um, all pictures it has, it'll double check. You can change those as needed. >> Yeah, they just cycle through the, um, as you can see in the background, it's like the
032softball field for some strange reason that's on the background with a palm tree in it. Um, if if I posted every single agenda, which we don't know what's going to be on each agenda every month, it's always different. there's some things that are going to be exactly the same. There's some things that are going to be changing. So, uh, she was like, "Oh, if you want to post your meeting agenda is a whole year in advance." And I was like, "Oh, we don't even know you know what it is a month in advance." So, but if if today if I had those if I posted the Wednesday meeting, it would be in a meetings and then today's meetings and then the most recent meetings. They still haven't moved over. All of our stuff from board
033docs. They're slowly and surely doing it. Um, but eventually everything will be transferred over and then we can still search and we can still go through and look through everything of all the meetings that we've had. I think since is when we started um using the public. It's going to look very um cookie cutter. It's going to look very the same way that it it usually does and it'll just go down instead of orox having the agenda on the side and then clicking and then moving over to what the actual item is. It'll have everything listed, the um each item, the description, and then each um each attachment will be right below. Um as you can see, well, once you log in, usually like for this item, a the board knows that they they've seen
034different things attached to them. um the public won't see that. I I click on when I upload the agenda, I'll click and say not for public eyes and it won't show that attachment on the agenda. When you guys log in and you look at it, there'll be a little um instead of the little paper clip, it'll be a little lock to show you that it's [clears throat] locked and only the board and the administration can see that particular attachment. Same thing is when Wednesday meeting or if there's another executive session, the the the public will see executive session and then the reason for the executive session and then that's all they'll see. The board and the administration um will see all the rest of the attachments and the whole spiel about why we're doing the
035executive session and the whole works, but I can hide that and the public won't be able to see it. But when I go in, I'm actually looking and I'm working on my side. Which where is that? So what this is what I see when I start this I can put this and this says a little box so that when we go to that public site you'll see the the attachment but on the public side it's not listed. So I can add executive session. I can add little and then you can see on the side I added little notes. Those will be available to you once you log in. But again on the public site it's not visible. It's not visible on because that's this one. So, when you log into your site or you log
036into your account, um you'll see those little extras, those little additions, those add-ons, but to the public site, they won't be visible just like we do in Board Docs. It's just going to look a little bit different. Now, going back to the login, I sent emails to everybody. Um the big thing is, um community, which is what they're going to call this instead of boards. um they won't let me have passwords. So I can't change passwords. I can't see passwords. Um so each individual is going to have to log into their own account. Um and then we can do it one of two ways. Usually before you guys come here, I log into everybody's account. So you all see if you make notes or if you make things on here that you can do in
037Bordox, um it stays on your account and nobody touches it. I log in to get you guys on the laptops and then that's it. So, if you would like, we can still continue to do that and we can do it one of two ways. Um, we could all put a general password that we all use and then I can log into your laptops or if you're more comfortable I I'll just open the laptop and you can come and you log in with your own personal password and I don't need to know what it is or or even to log in. You would just have to come each time and log in with your own personal and then I would just know not to log in for you. It's a personal preference. Right now for board
038docs, everybody has the same password. Unless you've asked me, no, I want my password to be XYZ, then I've changed that to be XYZ or pretty much everybody has the same password that I don't give up to, you know, on the website or whatever. But I come in and I log into each of your accounts on your laptop so that we can do the board meetings. Um, if you would like me to continue to do that, you can share your password with me, you can say my password will be, you know, 1 2 3 4 5 or whatever you want it to be and then I can save it and then only I have access to it. So when we log in like on Wednesday, I'll come in and I'll log everybody into boards. It
039all has the I log in with your own password or I can log in to legit or you can come 10 15 minutes early log into your thing and then you only you know your password. So it's it's something that is each individual person's preference um whatever you want to do and then you can just let me know going forward. Uh that was one of the big changes is that um I can't change your password. One of the other big changes that I really am going to like and then um is the minutes. Um and I'm going to try to do it with the Wednesday's meeting. I can go through and then as we go along I can say present present you know absent tardy and then each vote as they go market which wasn't
040available in vortex um unless you did the higher echelon of you know extra you know $2,000 $3,000 per year you can do this and I was like no it's okay I'll just do the you know by hand I'm used to it but these now um you're able to do I can go through and like I said I'm going to try it on Wednesday um to go through and see yes this person's present this person's present and then by the end of the meeting it'll dial up all the minutes who approved who it saves all the members names in there and by the end of the meeting I should have minutes that I can just print out and then Mr. Hopkins can sign and then they'll be stuck for the ready to go for the next
041meeting. So, I'm real excited about that. I don't know, nobody else is excited about it, but I am. Um, that's one of those things that was kind of um on the upper echelon that they kind of brought over and then I can do the roll call and then do the motion and say, "Mr. So and so made motion. Um, Miss so and so seconded it." You know, all in favor. And then by the end of the the the meeting I can um I'll have somebody and I can pick it was moved by Mr. Hopkins, it was seconded by Mrs. Olen and then all carried all verified and then by the time the minister done they'll be complete. So that's one of kind of the one of the things I'm excited about. It is going to
042look a little a little different. Um I can one of the other good things I can do is if on Friday or Thursday if we pub if I right before we publish I can send you all the agenda straight from the thing to add to a link and say hey the I just published the agenda and it'll send each of you an email to whatever email that you have on here and it'll say the agenda is posted it's been published for only certain number of people and um or the people I say and and then so that you can look straight on and follow the link and it'll take you straight to the meeting. You'll still have to log in and all of that kind of good stuff, but it'll take you straight to the
043meeting and it'll notify you that the meeting has been published. So, that's kind of another good thing. Um you can uh there are some things in here that you can say if I give uh certain people wanted access it kind of makes me nervous. Um, but if we wanted to attach um, like with Eric, if somebody I know on the reservation sometimes the the internet's not, you know, as as um, as great as we would like it to be, but we can always attach the YouTube here or attach a team's meeting and then that person I know a couple of times you were sick and then we attached the team's meeting and then your cats like were moving around while you were still doing the meeting. Um, we can do that and it'll be right
044directly into the meeting. So, when we book the agenda, it'll have the agenda and then it'll say the Zoom link meeting. So, Tyler can pop in from wherever he's at. As long as one of us has the the login um uh you know, if Mrs. Samron had a workshop or or something, she could come in through the Zoom link from wherever she wanted to and make that available to. So, you didn't have to actually come and be here. You could be on the Zoom link and just let us know and we can do that. So, a lot of good things, a lot of different things. Um, Allegent or Diligent wants us um to be completely moved over by the end of January. So, it's really kind of fast. We were having the trainings. They were
045like, "By the end of the year." And I was like, "Oh, great. By the end of the year." And my brain thought June, but they were like, "No, December." And I was like, "Oh, that is not what I thought you meant by the end of the year." So, that was totally um so we're kind of moving things up and and moving things along. Um, it's every school district that has or every meeting or city of Tucson or whatever. Everybody that has ord is going over to the student system. So, we're kind of we kind of don't have a choice, but we're going to be glad about it at the same time. >> Is there an increasing cost to us? You know, it's this. Well, technically, we would have each year, every January, we pay like
046a membership cost to to use the system and for them to hold all of our meetings and do all of our stuff because if if this crashes, it's on a server. So, everything's on [clears throat] their electronic server. So, they they charge us the cost of that. Um, but it's it's not any increase from what we do every day of the year. >> And you're pretty sure you don't want to go back to >> I'm fairly sure I don't want to go back to the three binders. I I am good not doing that. >> Do we have access to the app? >> Um I I'm almost positive they do have access to an app. So you can >> Well, I downloaded the app. I just didn't know if we have access to it. >> Yeah.
047Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. You can use it on you don't have to even like I I asked Mrs. Darren Con when she first started I said you come and she brings her laptop her um Microsoft Surface I said do you want to just use your Surface? So but no she goes back and forth and checks but if she wanted to use her Surface if you wanted to use your iPad or your phone um on I have the app downloaded for Botox. So on those times where I get a call from Mrs. Eric or Dr. Tarot on Saturday. I can post the agenda for my phone. I still have to come and do the one outside, but I can go on to on four docs and I can still post from four docs on my
048phone. So, I would assume that this with this upgrade, it would be the exact same way. So because I we've done that before with emergencies that you know this has to be done you know before Saturday blah blah and I can do it from my phone or the power goes out and things have to get posted. I've always had the app to do it from my phone. So I assume that this whole thing and and they've assured me that any kind of access to the internet you can still do community and products. So I'm going to try to do make agendas for both. And if you missed it um it should be notifications. I had it should be notifications at diligent.com or dot. Oh, there we go. It should look like this. So, notifications at
049diligent1platform.com. Um, if you don't get it, let me know. I can go here and I can resend you the activation notice. Um, but I can't change anything that happens after that. I can So, like Mrs. Rodriguez, you're probably going to get another one, but I can send you the invite notification and then you should get something that says notifications forum.com and let me know. Um, yes, you would like me to keep I'll keep an Excel file on the lock key of everybody's uh username and passwords or no, you want to you don't want anybody to know and you're going to keep going to do it yourself. Um, just let me know either way. And then once January comes around, so we have three meetings in January. We're going to be organizational. Well, we're at four
050um because we have to do our yearly um gifts training. We have to do our yearly um uh what's the other one that I'm forgetting? A comp uh a confidentiality or the um there's a couple of trainings that we have to do yearly that we have to do in January. you have to do the organizational meeting, study session, and then the regular meeting on Wednesday. So, um, for us being short, January is going to be a a little long. Um, and I'm going to try to do it on diligent, but if you would like to keep it published, just let me know. And, um, I'll open the laptop and then we can see how well it goes. >> So, it won't be four separate nights. Four separate meetings. >> No. Well, we we'll try to
051do two on on so we'll probably do the organizational meeting and then the study section and then if it gets too long maybe we'll do the training on on Wednesday on one of the agenda items. So, we'll just see how because usually the Wednesday meetings are the shorter of the two meetings. We'll see the way the cookie crumbles so to speak. discussions, comments, concerns. I'm still not really good at it. So, but I've been doing trainings and listening to webinars and and um as we at my desk. So, hopefully um and if you have any questions, all you do is email me and I have a lady that um I've been talking to 247 that's supposed to get back on with me and then show me exactly where certain things are and how to do
052certain things. So, we have sort of a a cane or a crutch for the next couple of months. Um, that will answer all my questions and then we're kind of on our own. >> Any other questions or comments? The next item is possible new agenda items for next week for next meeting. we want to mention is to remind everybody that Wednesday is when we do our superintendent evaluation. So make sure you fill out your forms and again on anything that you're giving any answer other than satisfactory or not observant you're supposed to write something new. >> Mr. President, did you want to put the second reading of the new board policy for security cameras? >> Yes. Anybody else? I will ask for a motion to >> I'll make a motion. >> Say I. Any opposed?
053Motion carried 4 to zero.
