001here. Mr. Mrs. Olsson here this is here. Mrs. Venezuela here. Can I have a motion to adopt? I'll make the motion. Second. All those in favor say I. I. Um motion carries 4 to zero. Please stand for the pledge to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for it stands. One nation indivisible and all [Music] First, I will say visitors are welcome to speak on agenda and non-aggenda items. Comments are limited to three minutes. Please state your name and address prior to making comments. Please note that members of the board may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, action is taken to directing the administration to work into the matter, responding to criticism, or scheduling the matter for future consideration. So, the first public comment

002we have is from Vener. My name is Remmit Ker. I have been coached by Coach David in basketball for the last year and he has made a difference in skills in life. He's taught me a lot of stuff and has been a really good coach. I think anyone that has been coached by him is is really lucky. If you have problems, talk to him and he can help you. Thank you for your time today. Um to the school board, Dr. Salt, Principal Aaron Khan, and the community, I stand before you today because once again, an incident has occurred among our student athletes that must be addressed. As someone who strives to support our athletic programs and will one day have children participating in them, I feel compelled to seek help. We must raise a standard

003for how we treat our coaches or we risk losing dedicated individuals willing to step up and lead. Last week, Coach Leco resigned due to mistreatment from athletes, parents, and a lack of administrative support. Much of this stem from poor communication, a lesson many of us, myself included, need to continually learn. Misunderstandings are taken out of context and escalated unnecessarily, tarnishing someone's reputation. This pattern, miscommunication, mishandling of situations must end. It's not an isolated incident. Other coaches have faced similar treatment in recent years. As a volunteer fundraiser for these athletes through an outside organization, I confess that my motivation to contribute wains when I hear of such incidents. The entitlement and lack of respect towards our leaders must be addressed and held accountable. I'm calling on athletic director Jose or whoever assumes a role for next

004year to set a higher standard for our student athletes. We need clear expectations for how volunteers and coaches should be treated with consequences such as suspension from play when those standards are not met. Let's elevate what it means to be a Red Raider athlete. Our cheerleading team exemplifies unity and respect for their coaches thriving because these values are embedded in our culture. We can learn from them. From an outsers's perspective, I know the time and energy coaches invest in their teams. It's disheartening to see athletes and parents disrespect those who give so much. This behavior is driving good people away from our community. I urge you, take your concerns directly to the coaches first. Most issues are likely misunderstandings that can be resolved through dialogue. I believe coach David has good intentions and wants to

005help his athletes grow. To the community members of student athletes, how can we expect future coaches and cohesive teams if we don't foster respect and the courage to address issues face to face? How can we justify damaging someone's reputation without giving them a chance to respond? We expect others to take place. Those involved may not have intended the full scope of their actions. I like to assume the best, but their choices didn't just affect one coach. They discouraged many volunteers supporting our athletic programs. It's an embarrassment to our community that some athletes and parents feel justified in treating coaches this way without remorse. To the school administration, please establish clear expectations and enforceable guidelines for sports participation. Let's ensure our programs thrive and provide positive experiences for all involved. Thank you for attention to this

006matter. Thank you. And lastly we have Mr. Houston. My name is Babuian and I live at 420 West Okio Arizona. So as I resign from the student data analyst position, I want to take a moment to thank everyone, the administration, governing board and my former principles and the upper unified school district family. Um it has been an amazing journey of 13 years for me. Um I had the opportunity to work with a lot of great principles here. Um Mr. Brian McKinley, Dr. Lauren Ker and Dr. Lance Sher and Miss Aaron Con and also had the opportunity to work with the two um superintendents Dr. Julie and Dr. Sult throughout this time. I've seen like most of the students here I've seen them from their childhood. It was very excellent for me. I mean amazing for

007me to see them grow up through one day to another and like grow up to be responsible and amazing citizens. At some point I definitely have to say um leave this school and go back and I have decided it is this year but actually my daughter's teachers will know that like we were planning to we were already talking about and thinking about it last year but I decided to stay one more year and it is time for be back with my parents and like join my parents and family back there in India And I'm amazed. I'm glad to see how the new administration and the governing board are um doing the new initiatives and I'm sure all of you are in good hands and you'll continue to grow and do amazing things here. So wish

008you all good luck. Thank you. [Applause] actually. Can my son go first? Colton. Hello, my name is I. I live at 130 West a Street. I'm here today to testify coach and to publicly make a statement in hopes of preserving his position as varsity basketball coach. David has been my coach for the past two years during the 2023 and 20 2024 and 2024 2025 basketball season. He's helped me train offseason and prepare hopefully one day to play in college. Back in 2023 during football season, I had to deal with some toxic coaching and bullies that eventually led to my decision not to participate in the 2024 2025 season. I was repeatedly targeted for my stature and lack of speed and was repeatedly put down because of it on a regular basis. I did not enjoy

009that season and made the decision to not play the following season. Going into basketball season that first year, I was hesitant about playing, but there was different coaching then wasn't the chance. Basketball that year was a completely different atmosphere. I was motivated to get faster rather than being faster. I was encouraged by the coaches instead of being made fun of and that made all the difference to me. Coach David helped me gain my motivation that year to work out and become more athletic. He's helped me see that nutrition and consistent training is the key to become a better athlete. He helped encourage me and helped me believe that I could start a basketball and make a positive impact on our team. He has helped me come to love basketball and continues to be a positive

010influence on my journey and my dream play. This summer I will be attending basketball camp with the support of my family and my coach. He's helping me be ready for that challenge by giving me training advice and taking time to help me with my technical training. He's tough, honest, and encouraging. My hope is that this basketball season become a larger team and with coach David, let's go up the help. I'm looking forward to turning this next season into a winning one and potentially making playoffs. I believe we can with good coaching, commitment from the players, and hard work. Thank you for this opportunity to speak. This helps the school board and see what most of us see, which is a good coach. Thank you. Hello. Good evening. My name is Daisy Y. I live at

011130 West Street. I have lived in OP for almost 16 and a half years. I have coached junior varsity and varsity volleyball at different times throughout this time, most recently for the fall season of 2024 in partnership with coach Corey Mills. I am here today for several concerning issues. First, I'm here to publicly support and defend David, Coach Leco. Um, you just heard from my son, and I'm so proud of him for being willing to speak up and in support of his coach. David has great integrity and has shown repeatedly that he is here to serve the youth of that community. He gave my son a reason to rise up and push boundaries and limitations that other coaches has set on him. David inspired him to set new goals and dreams for himself. I have

012seen him do that repeatedly for several youth in our community. David is a great coach and he deserves an opportunity to continue coaching and being an inspiration for the youth in our community. I'm concerned about the vindictive and potentially criminal behavior being displaced by certain girls. And most concerning of all is the alleged abuse of positions by a person on this board. This needs to be investigated and proper procedures need to be put in place to make sure this doesn't happen again. Good people should not be putting on a chopping block with someone else's personal vendettas, especially when it hurts the future of girls athletics. Secondly, I'd like to speak on a growing problem within girls athletics. I will preface this by acknowledging to the board today that I do not intend to coach varsity

013volleyball this fall. Coach Mills has also moved away from so there are two vacant positions for that for that sport. My intentions were communicated to the players and their parents toward the end of the season. The reasons for doing so are coincidentally correlated to this situation with David as well. Many years ago, I was treated unfairly due to the actions of of a couple volleyball players who behaved criminally on a waking. It led to the end of my coaching season, heartache for the other players and emotional trauma. Shortly after this incident, another coach was who was respected and admired in his community and for his contributions to the girls basketball program was ousted and despite support from the majority of the team and parents was released from his position. Now once again I am witnessing

014unfair and unjust treatment of good coaches because of the sensibilities of teenage girls. The 2024 season was for us for volleyball was difficult and coach Mills and I were the only two actually experienced volleyball coaches who applied. And the other two kind-hearted people who did were David and Tessalesco. They were willing to coach even though they knew nothing about volleyball or had any experience but they wanted a sports season for these girls. Those are the type of people you employ. Kind-hearted, selfless people. Our volleyball season was played with false perceptions of coach Mills and I. I dealt with multiple calls throughout the season from parents that their daughters had issues with coach male. They complained about his personality. They the way he spoke, the way he coached and the perceived tough coaching. Even though we

015didn't, we had no form of crude or profane language and they see saw that as an attack. We walked on eggshells. I was unable to stay home with my sick babies, which at the time were only a few months old because I was afraid of leaving Coach Mills alone with the girls. Not because I distrusted his judgment or his sense of propriety, but because of the allegations the girls could or would make against him. They had the audacity to make claims while I was present at practice games. Therefore, I'm glad I was able to be there to vouch for his intent and his actions. Understandably, I felt felt damage could be done if I ever missed a game. I just would like to ask the school board to explore further guidelines and protocols to protect

016coaches to make sure this doesn't continually happen. We have to be in partnership with our parents, the school board, and the coaches in order for these seasons to work. But these girls athletics are going to disappear and nobody's going to want to volunteer. Thank you. Hello everybody. I'm David Leco. I live at 1112 Avenue here in Aaho. Um first I want to thank everybody from the bottom of my heart for the support that's spoken for me today. People that's reached out to me to let me know that they have my back. They understanding. What I'm here to talk about today is exactly what everybody else has talked about. the administration not having your back. This is the form that was handed to me on the second, the day that I was brought in to give

017my chance to speak. It has come to our attention that there were some unfortunate incidents and some unfairable actions after Monday's softball game March 31st, 2025. On the way back to Aaho, multiple students stated that comments were made by you to the players that you should you shouldn't eat junk food and put poison in your body. I apologize. Uh the next quote, you guys eat like you play softball like Now, we all have heard the quote several times. We all know that's not what I said in your own group chat. You know that's not what I said. The rest of it is handbook dilations from the school that I broke without, you know, talking to me. Next, multiple students stated that there were no bathrooms at the restaurant you stopped at. And when you failed

018to stop the Hill Ben, you ignored students who asked to use the bathrooms and drove through without stopping. In their own group chat, they mentioned the bathroom thing and how bad they all got to go pee. And they also mentioned somebody should ask this guy to stop. Then they don't mention it again. And when you see the evidence, you will know if I would have denied them in any way, it would have been known. Then after that, again, without being talked to, I get more handbook guidelines for what I have done wrong. The most egregious and concerning incident was the fact that the students also stated, "You dropped them and the equipment off at the softball field approximately 8:30 p.m. and drove away." students said it was Garp and an upper classman who is a

019junior and is 16 years of age turned the light on in her car and stayed with every student until they were picked up. I will be happy to let you know the cameras in front of the parking lot are finally being fixed. But the ones on the library from what it does show vindicates my side of the story, which is I showed up, let the girls unload the bus, put the equipment up, and then they all walked two vehicles. or if they were in the dark. We all know there's a street light right there next to the rock wall where everybody sits to be picked up where I was sitting. I drove the bus off because there was only cars in the parking lot. Picked up my car on the bus, drove back by and

020there were still only cars in the parking lot. I have never been guided to knock on anybody's car window to see who they are. And after the allegation has been put against me, I thank God that I didn't. And I thank God that one of these young ladies weren't sitting next to me on that brick wall by themselves under cameras that did not work because who knows what the allegations would be then. Thank you, sir. [Applause] I'd like to resend my comment. She doesn't want to speak anymore, sir. Okay. Next, we have Sarah. Good evening. Sarah Lewis. I live at 1921 North Fair Road. I am a wife and mother of six children. Thank you for to the board and to the community for allowing me to speak tonight. I want to speak about this

021small town that we live in. All of us live here. I speak as a parent of children that I'm raising in this community. The phrase small town f the phrase small town evokes a quiet laid-back lifestyle and a close-knit community where people know each other and rely on each other and where people are connected. That is how I see Aaho. I love this town. I fight in it and I will fight to keep it alive in my small significant way. As I have met with Alterero a few times in different capacities, he has asked a question. What is your why? I'd like to think about I would like each of you to think about what is your why? And I want to tell you my wife. It is my family. It is my husband and

022six kids. I wake up every morning and my motivation is them. And I want to make the world a better place because of them. I want this county to be a launching pad for my kids as they grow. Each of us in this room has a light to share with those around us. Our light is what lifts each other. Our light is what takes cheerleaders and softball teams to state. And our light is what creates unity. In a light of a recent events that have in a sense shaken our community as you know I can tell you that my light has been dimmed a little bit. I have felt the sting of sadness and just bummed for a lack of better word. We have to do better. We have to lift each other up. We

023have to change the words that we say to each other. Words have power as you know. And I speak imperfectly on this matter because I am far from imper from perfect. We have to extend grace to each other. We have to be quick to forgive and keep moving. And we have to support those around us that are helping us raise our children. There is no room for pettiness in this amazing community. And I believe that we all are doing the best we can. We have to remember that we are all tiny specs on a little tiny planet and we're all walking each other home. I'd like to also ask the school board to create some sort of code of conduct that our student athletes and parents must agree to and sign before they start a

024sport. They represent not only our youth from town of Wahoo, but you represent yourselves. It is our job as adults to teach our athletes how to act and they are teenagers and we are their example. In closing, I want to leave you with this quote. Our words have creative power. With our words, we can speak blessings over our future or we can speak negative things over our future. Thank you for your time. [Applause] Yeah, Mr. President, members of the board, and members of our community. Um, in my report, it's going to be pretty simple. Uh, everyone in here sees the three state championship trophies. And I [Applause] think I'm sorry, I'm going to stand up and I think we all should stand up for these groups. Congratulations. My uh my report is is pretty simple.

025Um this is their time. This is their time and I just want I would like to call all of them up here and have them each uh just tell say their name. We met last Friday, Miss Valenuela and myself with the team. But before we do that, this is on the Canyon Athletic Association uh Facebook page. I believe their uh their participation during the state championship. So, Miss Vanosa is going to show it. Then I'll ask our captains to lead their team up here. I'll ask them each to say a few words, say their name, um say some words. Uh we're going to have these on display here in the district office, in the school office. I don't know about you, but I want to keep one in the district office all year. So, where's

026our our Miss Guthrie? uh leave us at least one year and so uh but uh this is this is uh your pride your excellence nine I want everyone to hear this nine months they practice nine months put their heart and soul and their mind and and and their gut and their desire and we could learn a lot from them as I was listening to your comments right now. I think we all as adults can learn uh specifically they did a great job. But Miss Vanola, can you show the video and then I'm going to ask our team [Music] the truth. I got I got all my [Music] mind. We up in the sun in our eyes. [Music] Um, Miss Guthrie, I'll I'll turn it over to you. Can you please call each one of your

027state champions up here? You can have them face have them like maybe behind the board so they don't give their back to the board. Come up here. You guys like right right around here. right behind them, behind the board. That way you have back to them. And can you can you just introduce them? And they're welcome to say a few words and they deserve it. These are four captains. Three of them have been captains now for like three years, right? And then one just became captain this year. Without them, our team wouldn't work because we go to them to motivate our team to help us with things. If there's girls who are struggling with things and the coaches don't have time to help it, we go to them and we ask them, "Can you take

028care of this?" and they're willing to no matter what. They're just like, "Yeah, I got it." And then they go over and they help. Without them, we definitely wouldn't have won. I'm super grateful for all four of them. Sad. Three of them are leaving off to do greater and better things. But um we'll have the rest of you guys come up and then we'll go down in the line and you can introduce yourself. Nice meeting you. [Music] Keep going. So, go ahead, Roch. Start us off. Wait, what do I say? Oh, I'm Ro and I. This is my second year and I want to see really motivated me to do better in academics. And it really was like like my escape kind of and I made a lot of new friends and yeah relationship I

029did. Thank [Applause] you. This is my second year. I feel like cheerleading has helped me so much. all the support I get from everyone just so much so much having the support from every single one of them everybody just so [Applause] Hi, I'm Canada and it's my second year love and I'm very grateful to be here. Cheer has taught me a lot and brought me more out of my shell as a very shy person and I am grateful for our captains and our [Applause] coaches. I'm Ala and this is my first year. I decided to try it out for something new. I don't do any of these things but now I do. And I'm not all that bad. I got a medal again this later on this year and it was a good season and

030I like it. And then real fast her medal was for tumblings tumbled by herself against seven other girls in one third place. [Applause] The beautiful girl next to her also jumped by herself against around like seven people each and got third place. And while we were leaving, multiple people came up to us and said that she should have won first. [Applause] Let me let me interrupt real quick. As a softball coach, Cassandra did both sports, which means she would practice from 4 to 5:30, then hurry up, take off her cleats, run into the gym, and then go practice from 5:30 to 6:30 or whenever was there. So, not only did she do that and keep her grades up, plus win a medal and is doing great in softball. So, hands [Applause] off. Okay. Sorry. My

031name is and this is my second year of cheer. I joined cheer because my friends and I'm like try and dance and I really do enjoy cheer friends and it is really fun and I do appreciate all our captains and our coaches and all the girls who stuck around for nine months to help us win these. Hello, my name is Brianna. I'm really grateful for everyone in the team and for all the coaches. [Applause] My name is and I'm very grateful to be on this team and I just grateful to be on this team and this [Applause] place and I really happy to be here first and for the coaches that deal with us [Music] and so my name is Angelie Montes. This is my third year doing here. Um, I'm so grateful for these

032girls and a big shout out to our coach that have been so great and through all season she has been putting a lot of commitment like us and I'm so glad we're going first. [Applause] Hi, my name is Sophia Walker. This is my third year of doing cheer. Um, I'd just like to say that I'm really proud of all of us. We worked for those nine months. That's actually crazy. Like for the longest that we've been doing it the longest and we put all of our hard work into it and we won the three trophies. [Applause] Hello, I'm Lola Bower. I'm a senior here. So, it's my last year. Sad. I'm not sad. Actually, I'm happy to leave behind these girls. No, I meant like in a good way. I'm happy that you guys get

033to just have your moment. Continue on her. Yeah, I'm so sorry. But yeah, I'm really happy. Sorry, I've been talking all day, so it's hard to find the words. I'm really happy about our trophies and I'm really happy that our coaches deal with us because although we like we win and stuff, we do give them a hard time. We have our opinions. We're all girls. We all think we're right. We all have our opinions and we're very vocal about them at practice. Very vocal. But luckily we have our captains, my fellow captains. We Hello. help. We hope to kind of keep it tame in there. And that's all I have to say. Thank you. Please do not call me back. Go tell the customs officers that you need an ambulance and have them call 911.

034and I recently became a captain this year. I just wanted to say that I am really grateful to be on this team and really lucky to have these coaches. It is not only commitment at this point, it's passion that we all have for this sport. Um thanks to them, we were able to win this year, bring the win and humbly share this experience with everyone. And I wanted to say that it is possible for anyone to accomplish this. We're still waiting for the boys, right? Um we we are cheering them on this year and every single year so that they can also bring something and share experiences with the school. I want to thank the school as well for sponsoring us and believing in us and giving this opportunity for us to bring something home

035and make history. Thank you. Hi, my name is Emilia Kerino. I am a senior as well and this is my fourth year during cheer. Um when we started the team looked very different us three we were there from the very beginning not the beginning beginning but basically since co since co um and it's it's been a wild ride but we had our controversies I'm very grateful for this team um and I'm very happy that we were able to make it through pull together and I think everyone has done an amazing job this year and every other year and I'm just proud of everyone. [Applause] Hi, my name is Chloe. I'm also a senior and this is my fourth year doing cheer. Um I started cheer because my mom didn't pick between cheer and girl scouts

036but actually that doesn't matter. I have to do both anyways. But um I love this team. It's like basically my whole life. I just want to say thanks to the coaches and Al and Carol and parents and all the senior team members. I wouldn't be able to do anything without them. Imagine me on my own doing but it's very fun. I'm glad we ended with a big thank you. Yeah. I just want to say I'm super grateful for our booster club because without them last year none of this would have been possible because they bought majority of our mats with the help from the school and whenever we need anything we call them up and they said yeah you got it that easy and without them it wouldn't be possible. I'm super grateful for our

037school who lets us travel away to all the away football games and be at all these games and supports us. Um I'm grateful for all the coaches that helped us this year. Mandy Pickle, Carol Anton, and Elanar Guthrie. Elanar started this program 10 years ago and brought it back to the school. And without her, we wouldn't be standing here. And she's a great coach in other sports as well, and we get it from him. He's the one who taught us to be great coaches. But I'm super grateful for our community and all of our parents and everybody that helps us out every year. And I'm super grateful that these girls put up on me for nine months. I know it's a lot, too. So, thank you. Mr. President, members of the board, honorable members of

038the community, parents, staff. Um, I brag about it, but I believe we have the best staff in Arizona, and you can see why. Um, state champions in game time, state champions in stunt team, state champions in shower and office. That's pretty impressive. Uh this is the Aaho Unified School District. This is Aaho's state champions, three time. They've set the standard level of excellence for the rest of our sports teams to follow. Mr. Yan, we're going to have to make sure we have some uh other state titles as well. But thank you so much. Thank you to all of you and you're our motivation. So once again, thank you. Congratulations. And he did. Break it out. Did they do that? Break it out. Made this up 10 years ago and it stops. Say real loud. Five,

039six, seven, eight. What do we do? What are we riders? We have We have I think we have one thing. One more thing. Um, Mr. President do the next is the awards. He didn't have like a set like a period where he was teaching it on his own. I just wonder because I know with some of the teachers they do have the penalty for breach of contract and I didn't know if that was going to be applicable to this resignation. It is recommended that the governing board retroactively approve the attached J10U. Sir second discussion. All those in favor say I. Any opposed? Motion carries four to zero. Next item business is approval of the prek tuition increase for the 2526 school. Mr. President, members of the board, at the October 2024 regular uh session meeting, governing board decided to increase prek tuition to $325 per month for all future enrolled students with a request to bring the increase back to the board in the spring for the 2526 school year. The attached survey was sent to 32 individuals which included all current prek parents and potential prek parents. Um you have

056uh there I believe as an attachment the responses how many we had. We reviewed this over u in detail of Monday. Missa has the numbers the budget numbers of what the potential uh deficit um will be she'll talk about next year right for for I believe at 325 and 375. So miss penalties. So this is I put three I put three papers together. It's the same as the one that we went over in October and November but I did the changes. I so we have as I showed you the list before um this is uh the teacher staff salary what we've paid so far um as of the end of March for supplies and so as of the end um I inflated this just a little to um take it to the end of the

057year the 15 uh000 right now it's it's somewhere around 11 or 12 so I figured um I would I would add on last year was 22ish. So we're right round in the ballpark. So total for this year estimated would be um 119 um or 120 if you round up from the 99.82. Um this is the obviously that 63 u 6,300 is what we get every month from first but scholarships. Um, and then if you add up all nine students and what they paid each month, either the 275 or the 325, at the end of the year in May, when it's all said and done, we'll have um received $17,775 in um in tuition. added together with the 63,000 that we received from first for scholarships, it comes around to $81,000 um is what we receive.

058And the difference, if you look to the bottom left, um the difference is about $38,000 or $39,000 again if you round up. Um which means the district covers about um 4,000 each month uh to run the precal round. So, we're still uh even for this year with the increase, we're still just a little bit short. Um I did projections using the same method and same model. Um we're going to have a new prek teacher next year. Um cuz she's going to be in our office, which is awesome. Um so, the doing the same amount for the supplies projected over and the same amount because it's probably going to be the same aid. um the uh the the cost went down uh to about 97 or 98,000. Um and if we keep with the nine students,

059which seems reasonable, um the six scholarship kiddos and then the nine um tuition students um at 325, which is what uh the board voted on in um December, um that makes it about 92,000. So we're closing the gap um that you know switching teachers um helped. So the difference on the left hand side um the 97,000 minus the um 92,000 um we're still about $5,000 uh total deficit if we just leave it at the 325 which means the district still covers about $600 monthly um from August to June if we stay everybody having tuition at 321. Um, and then I just did one up, which is another 50. Um, obviously the cost is all going to stay the same because it's going to be the same picture and the same date. The only thing that

060changed was that instead of 325, I went up to 375 um, which is um, 338, which means that um, basically odd number the district only covers $122.3 monthly for the year. So it cuts it even $50. Now there's no guarantee there's going to be nine tuition students. Um there may be more, there may be less depending on um what our numbers applied, how many kiddos applied. Like we said last, um six of the nine students are going into kindergarten. Um and they might, you know, some we might lose some kiddos to head start, some might come over here to um to prek. So there's no there's no guarantee that we're going to get those nine students and these are going to be the same. But I just used the number that we had here because

061it's the same projected number that we had. I think we had six tuition students. Last year, five for this school year. No, last year. Five or six. We had tuition students last year, but we had eight scholarships last year, too. So the numbers changed. Um and we will have new border patrol you know families. So we don't know if this nine students is going to change it's going to stay the same or it's going to change. So but it's just a projection. Crystal any sense of with the board of education not being in service anymore that the funding for this program will be affected. any sense that the board would state board or this might come down from the feds or what does this I could have I want to defer to Miss Cotay I

062know she has a lot better uh background on that as far as you guys right this this isn't necessarily US department of education right it's state funed states yeah it's not it's not department us it's first things first I think it's after tax I'm pretty Headart is [Music] already we really need to do a motion in second before I thought we had a motion. No, we don't. I will make the motion to increase the tuition by $50 to 375 a month. I will second. Okay, now we can discuss So that would be my only concern that that funding would get decreased or eliminated all together but you're assuring me that it won't and so we have Mr. President Mi we have how many scholarships for next year Miss Cot? Um, as of last month, uh,

063BSUW, value of the Sun United Way, who gives our scholarship, most likely they said it's still going to be the same number, which is six. Um, but the official email should come out in May. This all the quality for sites who participates, they will get all the official information for my email. Any further question, discussion? If not, I will call for their vote. Okay. So you said to raise it to 375. What's the current rate? 325. So 325 right now. Or um the ones who enrolled after October, but the ones who grandfathered in, we kept them at 275. Okay. So we're increasing it by 50 next year. Motion to decide. Got it. Just has a difference in here. That's why. Yes. So if there's no further discussion, we'll call for vote. Okay. All those in

064favor say I. I. I. Any opposed? Okay. Motion carries. Four to zero. Okay. Next item we have is approval of governing board policy advisory 819. I can just read the policy number and like for example 819 BA and then the title and where it says deleted I would just read the number 825 deleted not even read the the title.
