2023 September Special Session Board Meeting

001I Miss Rodriguez and Mr Hopkins uh approved for zero if you could please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance [Music] I pledge allegiance to the Republicans [Music] thank you everybody shall continue on okay um right now we're gonna do public comments are there any public comments this evening we have no public comments moving on to Personnel items I'll go ahead and turn this over to Dr soltero Mr Gardner it's members of the board um local education agencies May utilize Title II funds who offer stipends for the purpose of retaining effective teachers teacher assignments should be completed in such a way as to improve Equitable access retention recipients must be full-time appropriately certified teachers a list of 21 returning teachers have been abroaded this 837.50 187.50 I recommend the approval of a title of two retention stipend with the attached 21 certified teachers told him 17 587.50 we do have um our grants team here Mr Casey and Miss Aragon to offer any additional Insight I will turn it over uh Dr sabose's outstanding uh if you don't that's fine uh Rodney do you have any questions for I do not no no [Music] body has any questions um I'll go to make the most for approval Mr Hopkins aye aye Mr Rodriguez is approved four to zero okay moving on uh do we have any other future Generations any board members like to add Rodney okay um at this time if I get a motion to adjourn the meeting I'll make the motion um Miss Olson aye Mr Hopkins aye Mr rigas Mr Curtis does I we are adjourned 4-0 foreign
