align their responsibilities with different members is helping it be more efficient as as a team for the district is any remarkable what can be done under great supervision thank you sir thank you sir okay may I have a motion to adjust to accept the conservatory Mr uh Hawkins this is awesome all right passes forward here next item personality certified employment instructions yes sir um so Angelina if we want to get into the attachment of these click on the adjustments you're not excited to be able to do that yeah awesome Howard Smith foreign substitute teacher I recommended out here as a substitute teacher and want would like to recognize Miss Angelina and Dr shabolis the academics very promptly and long story short now we have I believe five substitute teachers Mr Hopkins Mrs Olsen hi Mr

Mrs Rodriguez hi Mr President next [Music] members of the board uh Cecilia Gonzalez has been interviewed for the position of cafeteria workers starting January 12th base Gonzalez has received your IDP fingerprint card I recommend the approval of the opponent of Cecilia Gonzalez as a cafeteria worker study January 12th English I'll make the motion Mr Hopkins Mrs Olsen hi Mr Rodriguez aye Mr Guthrie passes four to two okay next item is the extra pain position the job because members of the board of the individuals Below have expressed an interest in coaching for the 2023 spring Sports season for sayon head baseball coach Eddie Vega assistant baseball coach I recommend the approval the above individuals with the corresponding extra paid positions so stay still drive the bus stop yes yes sir we have a conflict with that

in practice yeah as far as I know uh I know that Richard has been for a second we're really not supposed to discuss until we've had a motion it was so complexity I'll make a motion okay now we can discuss it yeah I know that Richard helps drive the bus with him when like they switch off and Richard isn't working and I think because of the baseball Fields has like stuff I don't think it does oh my God since I was a kid um I know he was he was doing practice uh a little later and then driving the kids after 6 30. that's what he did last year and I was just asking because I don't know what time they get back from a port but especially in this time of year when you

first start baseball practice he's just argument this dark way 5 30. right and so I wasn't sure what time he was getting back so yeah I think Eddie's first practice early and then Jose gets there whenever he gets back we've had a motion okay is this whole thing I Miss Rodriguez next item is the approval of additional inflation stipend for nine administrative employees uh Mr Hopkins members of the board um online administrative employees will receive a payment of 200 to be paid from eminol this payment is in addition to the 1200 December stipend and will ensure the majority of staff's take will pay is Overland jobs so my recommendation is I recommend the approval of an additional inflation cycle of 200 to all non-administrative staff I'll make a motion hi Mr Hopkins Mr Rodriguez hi

this is Olson hi Luke is approval of inflation which has been for administrative employees uh Mr Hopkins members of the board all the administrators will receive a payment of 1400 to be paid from mnl after payroll taxes take home will be approximately one thousand I recommend the approval of an inflation stipend fourteen hundred dollars to all administrative staff and just uh for clarification that would be Dr shabos and Ms Florissant and not you also why why is that I like um no well the reason being Mr Hopkins on Mr Guthrie is that you're going to discuss on the very next item uh annual performance-based compensation for me as superintendent so I just felt I showed Mr Hopkins I felt it would be appropriate that I would actually just fall under the approval of the 50

of the annual performance-based compensation not an additional Skype through this about those and margins right I mean it's apples and oranges one zero this is the stipend that we gave to everybody sure right why would you be left out of that right that was that was my decision I shared with Mr Hopkins as far as how how you guys are going to talk about a performance-based compensation for me and the next item I understand her yeah it wasn't my idea to say not for him so that we include him in this [Music] by now it's worded I guess we could because it does say all the ministry instead I I would like to see Dr so that'll be part of this why wouldn't we I mean okay and then like I said it's apples and

oranges right this is something we're giving to all our employees and then the oranges is it's on in the evaluation right so then um make a friendly amendment to my motion specify that it was all administrative staff in the first or secondary increase um the next item is approval of 50 of the annual performance-based compensation for the solution okay Mr Hopkins members of the board uh this is the explanation approval of 50 of the annual performance-based compensation for the superintendent for achievement of performance goals in the first semester of the 22-20 preschool year the performance-based compensation that may be earned by the superintendent is up to 5 5 100 of the base salary that's how it's stated in the in the contract and so you have you have I believe um I believe you have

attachments in here uh the performance goals I believe the first one is is an attachment on this year I believe the first time okay I believe okay it's uh superintendent's goals evaluations December 6th there are three goals there and what I what I did is you have it there in front of you in board docs but what I also did was was put out a hard copy so the Performance Based compensation is based on these three goals that I submitted to the governing board in July in August I'm sorry and so this is what was shared in December with the board I just wanted to just share with you again this is what the performance-based compensation is is on on the three goals um there's around five four to five items in each under each

goal and they're providing different artifacts for each item to show that it was addressed that talked and that's what this performance-based compensation is based on and so that's what I wanted to share with you and um this is what the board of Charity of the December meeting that their belief was that the goals were achieved and they wanted to make it 50 percent of that total performance-based compensation for the accomplishment of the goals from July August to December and that being said I don't know if there's anything else Mr Hopkins about that but that's pretty much details for the site without getting in too much detail it was pretty much unanimous to the rewards that he accomplished all the goals that we that he promised us and more like we were all very very pleased

and so at the the second attachment is just the goals for this coming year the five goals that after you know discussion and with the collaboration with the Lord the second attachment has the final goals for this 2023 year but just for clarification the performance-based compensation that is right here on this agenda item is based on the three goals in this sheet that I just gave directly hi Mr Hopkins Mr Rodriguez aye Mrs Olson I I'm happy with four to zero the next item is understood activities no way this could uh Mr President members of the board we have students from our senior class they have been hard at work to have this presentation for you Miss Victoria Munoz and Miss Rachel kasaka are here and they have a great presentation to share with you

all right Victoria um [Music] to present this um put a permission to travel out of state and overnight to California to to stop in the race don't be nervous to Universal Studios on the background train is just like an overview of everything we're gonna be doing what everything's gonna cost so our first day of work we're we're gonna depart from a home from actually um on the morning of May 11th of 2023 and return on Saturday May 13 2023. in the bus um the first day that we brought in California we would like to check into the hotel and head to University students to spend the rest of the day as we move into California finally um on day two we'll check into Universal Studios in the morning and spend the day there for Grandma

which is all day until one morning I believe yeah and then in day three we would like to visit a local beach Santa Monica and spend a few hours there before returning home yeah um apartment Administration for Universal Studios is a hundred dollars 120 per day and this includes a full day but due to later variables we will be there for half a day we will have 15 students in two chat rooms and that approximate price of an admission will run two thousand one hundred dollars the second day the second date of Park administ uh admission for Universal Studios is 100 120 dollars per day and includes the grand night access which is past partners and it's going to be the same 15 students two chat rooms and we'll run another two thousand one hundred

dollars the hotel accommodations for tonight is two nights is approximately two thousand two hundred dollars as as of December we have 4515 and we are currently fundraising activities um to completely come critically before our trip currently we have students who have not attended or contributed to any of the classified fundraisers we are giving them a chance to provide funds a portion of their hotel room and their ticket and to participate in fundraisers to earn their spot if they do not have the money um and when you have a senior class we would like to thank you sure one question you would mentioned that there were students so does that mean the number of students might go up from the 15. yes well the 15 was our estimate after the students the house right now we

only have a 10 and students that are coming okay you feel better with three um I agree and it would be I guess depending on the number of students we would then know which bus should take one of the smaller houses that doesn't need a CDL driver or if they use a big one seduction pattern um so my only concern that I'm sure you'll be taken care of is that the bus drivers have enough rest to be able to safely driving you there and back that's my biggest concerned I went back home safe right yes and so I'm sure that that will be taken care of but it scares me to death when you guys run up there and run back yeah the bus driver was being too fatigued right that's Trevor will have um

his own room so he can fully get all the rest um and again the power schedule according to do that yeah so out of curiosity is our flash driver not included in going to the park okay okay that was my other thing okay um we certainly want you guys have a single trip with yourself one we wanted to be safe right we will chaperoned it and give you their new vaccine and we've already had parental control yeah coming once a week because the two chaperones will be you know for 15 students if the students grow are chaperone too and I think it's one adult person children I think that's the letter of the law when it comes to that I think I know that's the way it is the child care yeah one to six

is for elementary but then usually when you get up to high school it's usually ten to one okay we see any more expressions okay so uh Mr Guthrie hi Mr Hopkins aye Mr Rodriguez foreign foreign Mr President members of the board the board is expected to adopt a budget meeting calendar at the beginning of each fiscal year additional board meetings may be scheduled with a 24-hour notice scheduled meeting dates may be changed within a 24-hour notice below are the proposed study and regular session meetings for 20 23 the administration is recommending the above these and scheduled board meeting dates for 2023. emotional I'll make a motion do you want to read the date that loud or do you want to so the only real concern I have is April 10th that is the day after

Easter so I don't know if people are going to be out of town oh right there is we will be here yeah again with any of these if there does turn out to be a conflict adjustments and then just uh Mr Hopkins and members of the board that did take place in this past year and we made an adjustment in December 5th and sixth board meetings we're going to be 57th we made the adjustment enough time in advance it can be done okay assistant Mr Hopkins hello this is Olson hi Mr Rodriguez is 4-0 this is the first reading of the governing board policy advisory numbers for a number 739-3743 in this year uh octave members of the board of governing boards main review and adopt policy advisory number 741 consistent with policy adoption process
