this one yep that would be the one try to make it bigger so keeping in mind the third column in is our GL budget our GL budget basically is what we have budgeted there are some interesting blank ones in there and those those are great the grant section we haven't uploaded the budget because we're busy trying to close out last year because of our Global hold since our Global pool was lifted both myself and Allison have been busy trying to close out FY 22. we would we do have the monies in there so you'll see the negatives on the last column but don't worry or it's second to the last column don't worry about those because we do have funding and that's coming in um there was a question on the instructional Improvement which is
about five down and from one of the board members and as I explained to them basically it is a cash controlled fund it's a high negative but not to worry about that either because at the end because it's cash controlled fund we're able to move money's in there to zero adapt other than that uh if you scroll through there are 10 other pages and it's a breakdown of each of the schools and it's broken down by schools and if there's any questions I don't know any questions as it could use um if you don't mind that I've already known impacting thank you for that so on the impact date back to that first one we have budgeted 10.3 million dollars you're going to see a negative about 335 000. now keep in mind on the
column in the encumbrance into the encumbrance cost that basically means is we have encumbered funds some you know our departments and our schools if they're funding uh something out of the decade for example if I'm going to do a purchase order for Home Depot I'm going to put in a PO for ten thousand dollars we have to put that ten thousand dollars aside in that bucket so that's our encumbrance bucket even though at the end of the year we might only spend a thousand dollars well we kept nine thousand dollars in there that we could have used for something else so just keep in mind that encumbrance is basically a pot of money that we've put away to make sure that we have enough money for whatever that PO was listed for same goes for
teachers and so on thank you for that any other questions when when does that gonna be cleared out when is I'm sorry convert in convert the incumbrance period doesn't happen until the end of the school year what we try to do though is during the school year itself we start looking at some um and I should take that back if purchase orders are done and let's say there was a purchase order done in July 1 which is the start of the school year we're now in December anything in July August September any POS that were done to vendors those have already been received this schools and departments would send in the invoices to Sherry she would go ahead and close them if there's any encumbrances let's say that Home Depot purchase order was done in
July they're done with it they've used it all there's nine thousand dollars left once it's paid by Sherry then it disencumbers that fund so there's it's it's a process throughout the year at the end of the year that's one of the things that we try to do too once June 30th ends for our school year what we do is we've got three months basically to clean up all our technicals because each one of these lines is like a checking account for us and we've got to make sure that everything zeroes out so and one of the things also that we do is that there is some expenses that are able to be funded out of a grant then what we'll be doing is we'll move Journal I will journalize expenses into the the other learning
steps to throw them out as well and move the expenses into the grants but some of the brands you can't carry over the funds most of them you can but we try to expend everything down thank you any other questions um [Music] no it's good that it's good that the board is looking at these two it's and questioning this uh but overall no we're pretty much saying okay and the good news is you know uh we just received our FY 23 half a payment of our infected just a couple days last week that's money I didn't want to say that too loud because you know that I need I want and can I have the money came in right exactly okay School District doing another uh revised budget before the end of the school year
yes in another revision um that I don't know when but we usually I want to say that we always do a main revision that's for sure so we're going into you know now that we're ending half on the first semester opening up the second semester it'll give us time to clean up a little bit but come April March and April is when we start looking at all our funding all of our expenses and everything and then we decide okay you know what under maintenance and operation we have 8.8 billion dollars we might need a little bit more we might need a little less what's our final by the state you know when we get our funding from the State state's going to stay here at your final location that's when the main revision comes into
play so we'll be doing one and we'll bring it to the board okay thank you you're welcome board members and Mr Diaz every year we do a revision or a just an FYI public hearing um our titles our title six are uh esea and are impacting all required they want us to inform everybody the community we have two public hearings uh unfortunately we don't have a good turnout but you know it's one of those things where we still have to abide by by the grant so uh and what I try to do is kill one purpose on Stone and do all of those on tonight's meeting the other thing though is and from prior years of talking with Ford uh not just having one public hearing but we have another one set up for the
evening so that way in case you know some of the folks in the community can't make that one at five o'clock we have one that's scheduled later so hope being that you know anybody that wants to come out and basically we go over the programs that we have that we we have to offer but also have recommendations as well we also meet with our thumb author Nation education department and go over what we're doing as a district and what do they feel that we need to be doing as well and and that's tribal consultation that we do as well so go click on the next one so we did talk about the two the next uh public hearing is scheduled for the 15th and that's in the evening uh from six to seven o'clock hope
amen you know somebody will show up or we can have some it is posted on the website as well I'm sorry um no but I could make that one virtual so yeah we can do that yeah I'll put I'll make sure to put that move on there but yeah thank you for that um go ahead so let's see here increase so one of the things going back because of covet and everything we hadn't been able to do our public hearing so the last one we did was back in 20 uh physical year 20. and one of the things that continues to go into our concerns is School Readiness you know the career Readiness skills which is our CTE our cultural enrichment and uh decreasing the attendance I think we've been slowly moving in that direction
um this information we got from one of our community days you know when we filled out we had uh it was one of the book ones I think it was right before everything hit it so those are some of the key things that that kept being mentioned thanks Helen okay so just to give you a quick overview and I've got this listed also in another um upload for you if you wanted uh more information on a spreadshe on not a spreadsheet but a Word document on our title one so our Title One basically has and continues to support um instructional support we have teachers funded we have uh paraprofessionals funded out of there we also fund most of the um summary sounds as well as the folks of the family um oh my gosh each
of the schools have them apparently thank you apparently hey thanks there's a hickey so most of her programs are funded out isn't it too um we also have non-certified title one overall this year we're actually getting 1.4 million dollars That's not including the carryover monies that once we finish closing out the completion reports there's going to be some carryover Mondays that won't have to revise also so um next so here's just a breakdown pretty much uh what we've done in the past and what we continue to do this year some of the ftes that we have High um we have paid for out of uh title one we have in Supply so each of the schools get a small budget the rest of like for instance the supplies some of the schools the way it's
budgeted out is on a per pupil allocation so depending on how many students you have in each of the schools we have certain appropriate qualification now the other supplies this is lumped with Central Supplies as well as District supplies so that you know we have currently about 68 000 in supplies uh our 6500s is our purchase Services which is any travel that we do out of Taiwan we can pay for we also have done in the past also with the 6300s which is registration what we've done is maybe we'll use and pay for one or two teachers out of title one another one or two teachers or staff out of impact a and so on so we split on everything and you'll see that throughout the uh the different grants the next one so our
Title One D which is our neglected neglected and delinquent uh Grant basically is to assist any of our students that fall under that category some of that funding goes to the alternative education uh the middle school and high school some of that goes over to the sunrise house as well our overall allocation right now is about 19 000. next our title 2 basically covers our PD this year though we dropped to thirteen thousand we were like up in the 75 to 80 000. I've got a call in already to add to find out why we drop so much um which is very strange um though we do have carryovers that are coming in but I'm still curious as to why we dropped so much and hopefully once I get that information I'll pass that along
you guys are kept aware next so the rural and low income I kind of like this one because it doesn't have full-on restrictions most of that money the 33 000 is given between again the alt the schools as well as um the sunrise house and we have about 33 000 that we are receiving this year next CSI I see this time we did receive CSI funding this year we just got approved for it uh right now these are our locations that were approved overall about 722 000. the this helps fund I think most of the principles are the ones that work on this it is part of their plan and the principles are the ones that are given pretty much autonomy on writing how they're going to spend it to increase and get out of
you know uh School Improvement and with that most of them in Spring and math interventionists will will uh fund half of it out of the script and then the other half usually is either out of uh impact date or uh next ipea this is just a snapshot of what we've done talking with our ESS director he's now taking over some of how he wants to see a little bit more how he wants to spend with our ESS students uh which is kind of nice because he knows the program and this year we're receiving 230 000 but we also have another 43 000 that is given under the American Rescue fund that fund will go away in 24. thanks uh another one for ESS students is the preschool we don't get much of that one we
normally get about 13 000 every year uh that usually covers about a 0.5 paraprofessionals and again we have the American Rescue plan allocation as you can see it's only 3 000. we'll probably put that into supplies so that way schools that have our ESS students can either buy that or the department we can actually buy stuff for this thanks our CTE program uh actually this one went up below we were only getting probably about 40 000 so we went up to 60 000 this year and I believe we might get a little bit more and our CT even though Mr wetch isn't here he still helps us out he is like the master Guru Jedi Master guy a CTE and you know everything that goes and be they're reporting and the the grant itself uh
you know it's very tedious and he knows it like in his sleep so it's just much easier to pay him a small stipend or a small uh hourly and he only puts in probably [Music] if anything like I think last year we paid him about seven thousand dollars and he did all our everything and it's so worth it because he understands CTE he works with our CTE folks and our j-tip folks down in Tucson uh he actually you know anything we need pretty much he's the one that we go to um so of that allocation we did we're getting sixty thousand dollars we're getting three thousand he still uh is more of a mentor towards the teacher that we have our CTE teachers he's been a mentor there he's helped uh the school principal as
well to make sure you know RCT program has been up and running and yes our first things first we have been very fortunate we keep that going we have about 16 uh the last I heard I think directly if I'm wrong Senator smart uh 16 scholarships and 18. thank you we got two more uh it's roughly estimated about 107 000 we we pay about two teachers and any supplies that we get also and that's for our for our kids our small Pre-K kennels you know um and I believe are we a five star four star we're getting there yeah we're about a three yeah so no we've done some really good stuff over at the primaries and she's been able and that's a good thing the four star is great um you know in their
rankings because you can top on the highest level is and next one is our impact age so our impact date for this year allocation is a little higher uh if they fund us a hundred percent which they happen for the last three years we should be receiving about 8.8 billion dollars and so we've already got half an uh impact Aid as you know pretty much covers quite a bit of all the expenses for their District the majority is transportation and any additional teachers above and beyond the standards we go ahead and fund them out of impacting anything about the standards for additional Staffing same thing impact data is the one that we go to and right now also it is covering some of the fun uh some of the projects through operations that we are
not getting funded out of sfb thanks Indian education title six we also got a slight increase that one covers all our culture teachers all our culture programs many cultural supplies uh just anything under culture uh that one we got a slight bump of a couple thousand this year we're at 238 000 by 73. then our next one is our sr2 next or two so we did have sr1 we've exhausted that one sr2 and nurse are three other two that are left for us we got until fy24 to spend it out uh most of the sr2 is a little bit more relaxed than the answer three this one we are able to and have been able to put in uh what we've purchased were school buses we've got a couple school buses that we paid out
uh I believe it was one last year in one prior year and then at the PPE supplies are another thing and HVAC units for the teacher housing was another big thing uh presentations when we were closed down and then we're slowly coming back the systems for the classrooms the presentation systems through Tech as well as computers and laptops so the application was 3.9 million dollars for this fiscal year for fi 23 we have uh 1.5 million dollars left to spend so and uh Allison is the one that oversees both the answer uh two and three and does all the reporting so next under sr3 like I said this one's a little more strict we have to have 20 set aside for the social emotional uh and what we are doing with this we've got tutoring
set up summer school setup I did it for that and the biggest thing was the professional development which I think would pretty much uh extended on that and that was to the Ron Clark Academy uh we do have a little bit of avid in there for travel of Capital Equipment that's coming through is the playground at the primary and additional technology so the allocation for sr3 that we received was 8.8 million dollars what we carried over into the new school year so our new budget for this year is 7.3 million that one again we still have until 2024 to send out and it's all been in location so that's it any questions you're correct the carryovers we're not sure yet because we're closing down we're doing all the depletion reports so that's what we're doing
right now and anything that we didn't spend the nice thing about it most of them have that carryover availability to come over because we kept it under 15 so in essence we're going to have just under 15 of whatever we had this last year whatever didn't get spent as long as it's under 50 we're able to carry over foreign no no so basically our allocation that we received for sr3 was 8.8 million dollars so we spent a little over a million dollars for FY 22. yes so that's our balance that's the one we're carrying that's what we're starting off this year yes like the question oh yes no that's a great thing thank you I've never been sharing with us I know it's several couple million dollars on the ADL however rumor has it that
our new of governor-elect is looking at doing away with that okay and hopefully uh putting in an executive order to do away with that because obviously it's going to affect lots of school districts yeah and for us it's several million dollars okay yeah oh thank you yeah and also I believe you are here if you guys are attending the uh Asda I think I'm sure they're going to be no there's going to be some more information there give me a call so [Music] for sure because of the new changes of the new uh the elections and everything so that's going to take it'll be interesting to see what they they can do well right hey you need to know the statistically happens I'm very hopeful because of our not only our governor like but also
our attorney general as well because they both play in together I have one question under tiger 1D yes um for that Detention Facility what's all happening there so the last I heard I know the where the Detention Center the the Juvenile Detention Center um the last time we had was less than like four people before students there uh it's my understanding that we do have a teacher that goes there and offers tutoring because we do have that uh Moe with them that we will provide services for for the students that are there okay thank you I was just wondering and that's great you know that um looking at the grooming okay we do once we get the CTE program itself up and running in in where we needed to be uh I know that Tanya
is working with some of the folks there as well as uh you know the teachers once we get teachers in there for sure then we can go ahead and Mr WESH can go ahead and Mentor them he's still doing it now he is mentoring the teachers that are currently that are under the CTE program the goal is to go ahead and groom someone in there so that they can take over the entire you know the reporting and everything else no he is great we're very happy and fortunate I have one more under um that program uh I do certain all the high schools and at one time they weren't going they weren't serving the ninth grade for the CTE program are we yes that is we are serving nine through 12. all right that's all
specifically about once going twice thank you thank you number five is our buttercream Universe safety procedures update needs president when you have numbers on board in the number to meet with Partners uh we are really important um by and if they are alike we're currently asking for um masks indoors as well as pool testing on a weekly basis and we also um we we don't have right now um the requirements valid science events but we'll continue to support and moving forward to be aligned with the executive orders in place foreign [Music] office with any guidance and we currently still taking advantage of Dr locally or any parents and information and we'll continue to Value him until he retires but yes we are collaborating on that new basis because another question but it's okay is there
anything else we can go ahead and move on to number six about the Community School District school principal support systems and at this point I want to ask uh for me assembly because so please keep getting her report and introduced foreign [Music] the friends that she did not have any food to eat she said she said she said her garden wasn't happy she said she had nothing for two days Sam had a drink period brought her fresh carrots Crystal lettuce tasty strawberries and sweet bread cookies foreign [Music] all right foreign [Music] oh my God [Music] foreign [Music] stop [Music] please [Music] foreign [Music] yeah evening president of India board members and Reuben so I hope you had a chance to read the intermediate board report [Music] s [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign
[Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] Council event that was all student-led they decorated they invited their families they did everything on their own they just told me to show up they even made the agenda they they already made an agenda of everything that they're gonna say and they're the ones agreed to the parents they're the ones that talk to the parents they they told me you know we got it we got it they told me to step aside so I didn't do anything for the event they did everything on their own so I'm really proud of the student council for doing that and they they had said they wanted to do something to get the parents more involved and to get them to know each other and to

get with the focusing the folks at B and see if we can kind of story please in the beginning of semester so you can get Caps or so um that's kind of what I was thinking for us so that we can start that the year around and yeah this is not any Genesis and usually moving forward [Music] I want to thank um November is a very uh very busy month after working not only on formal evaluation did you informal uh informal evaluation as well but at the same time I want to thank and Leadership and what you've seen is what happened in a month it's a man that was short because of Thanksgiving in a holiday and despite of the assurance and the formal evaluation of the conducting they find the time to Orchestra organizations
and collaborate with the teachers so I want to give them a big hand for all of the work and it is one of the hardest months in November because of working on the evaluation but they still find the attempt to be leaders and get the community together for all these things that you saw in in the the videos [Applause] oh I was just gonna say that I did put our new name on the board report but I did use the old name for travel stuff because I'm big I can still have to use our old name for asking for funds or something right yeah part of that is we didn't legally change anything and after the trauma traumatizing events of senate.gov uh we could still use the names that were approved but under you know
we could do the doing business as and then that name you know that were approved at the last of a few more weeks ago but for recording purposes for the state until we get that process or if we're going to move in that direction we need to figure out from the state and then give us the directions on how do we go about changing each of the school's things because it does affect our esea grants and it affects all the other brands but is it doable yes I just don't know how what the process isn't it I mean until we went through the hassle and made you guys go to the hospital s Echo give it some uh respect and start to use it and put it out there I know I understand there's this
limitations report because of the things and I think we can we can do so we could use you know Bobby TV our BBQ in high school and then the name of what's given attached to it as well and then we on the financial side we know just to keep the one piece on there but for our district yeah we could if we can add that on record to our letterhead and everything else okay yes I don't want to claim to be an expert but I did call the states and they recommend it that we keep our entities at least for us exactly the same 200 Oasis I'll turn to the middle and you know it's this Alternative High School and then it's up to you guys that we already went through the process on how
we want to name ourselves to the public and how we want to Brand ourselves but they said that um they can't ask for you guys at higher levels to figure out the basis oh no don't don't go change the answer to numbers just do it this way yeah I'm not asking to change but but I think that you can recognize and use the names as much as you put their hip foreign it's a quick real quick for me um I say that it ends up before but anyway uh I definitely want to take this opportunity to think that the community the staff everyone who I think will definitely all agree that um felony gravity But ultimately um our I don't know what you would call it I just definitely want to say that as much
as the boys come together and as much as you all have given us your time and effort we definitely appreciate that come to you some sort of solution man or a path forward for this entire School District granting um it was definitely not um nothing has ever done in an essence of time to make things difficult and or make it seem like they aren't we do try and give as much due diligence to anything that we that we've come across as a board and I speak for that especially because when we are either in executive session or if you've done a lot of and I know it gets everyone a little bit uneasy and I'm sure we're giving you that effort in that time to make sure that we're we're really acknowledging and focusing our
greatest deep diving on some of the things that we have questions um I want to continue to express that much of what we do is is is and always has been um out of respect or the beautiful students that we have in our school district without them I know that who cease to be ultimately Porsche technology Market our faculty staff our administrators and everyone else puts in together every single day almost about sometimes acknowledgment I know that it's not easy to do but I know that it's also um it's also that this board is 100 percent very much continually released with one another to be able to come to come to a determination of decision that ultimately isn't always favorable however we don't do it without any kind of real consideration but what the impacts
might be and ultimately grateful for every single person sitting here at the table um or just trusting in the board in this country speaking so that is my relationship in the time I wanted to take to acknowledge that and really look forward to the path forward and as much as we're going to be able to accomplish um with one another I think that the the ability for us to pull together as an entire district will definitely there's nothing I think that is coming together and working with one another foreign [Music] number one um if you if you get a chance to see the video provided by our administrators we've been working on fluency for the schools and in these this particular year our focus is evidence of implementation of reading fluency strategies and I am
very proud of the work now and the principles are doing in working with the teachers and implementing the reading strategies please take the time to look at those videos and all that time and everything together not only are we working with the staff but also with the children the second highlight that I want to bring to your attention is once again this final November being a tough month in doing all the performance valuations I want to celebrate my principles and advertis for on holiday November um last few days that they conducted please keep on a hint for the honestly [Applause] provided to all the teachers the next uh highlight that I want to give is also thank the governing board for allowing uh admitting you want them to be framed at the schools one in
California and one in two weeks it was very uh powerful to to walk to go with my team at the high school and to be able uh not only about the team to be able to learn and still strategies that we look forward bringing there were some highlights of the items that we hired uh we learned and you know we will consider in the future let's take a thing with Jimmy um we had a wonderful discussion um but I will um as the months go by our going forward and seeing how we can Implement all of the strategies that we saw that kids worked out for the district or how to get more fired so thank you for your support and I want to thank the um about the query the North Korean High School
