Um, just one more thing I would say is congratulations to our her football team. It takes guts every week to go out and represent and you know, you may not win. Nobody quit. Nobody gave up. And I think it speaks to their character. And so we wish our football team >> mentioned this

before. I know we can't put that in a high school. Can your accomplishments be put in your private? >> Yeah, they highlight a lot of that in there. >> They do. Yeah. just like the community somehow get some of this information. I don't know how to do it. >> Yeah, I know we probably only reach 25% of our community through our socials, but I know everything comes through social media that was mentioned there this evening. Um, you know, how to put all those accomplishments in the paper with Steve. I don't know how exactly. Yeah, some of the highlights we could get in there maybe do a better job of that. I'll talk to the guys at the paper. Very nice. >> Oh, I know. I know. It's fun to see your name on the paper.

>> Congratulations. Great job. >> Within our packets, there was a parent teacher conference report. Does anybody have any questions with regards to that? Now, we're going to move on to new business and Mr. is going to discuss our $19 million of bonds. >> Yeah. So, this is a resolution we've been working towards for quite some time. Uh these are the bonds that were um the district decided to do this back in 2013 and that was built in such a way that they would come due at this time and we're pretty sure there wasn't going to be enough money that they would have to refund the bonds to make the payments. So, these are all based on sales tax revenue. Um this isn't a new issuance. This is a reissue. We are adding some years to

the life of these bonds so that the payment gets into a position where we can make the payment annually with sales tax revenue. Uh the payment will be somewhere in the neighborhood of between $900,000 and a million dollars. We'll see exactly what that comes out to be. So that's an affordable payment for the district based on sales tax and still leaves us with a good amount of money in our sales tax yearly that we can put towards projects need to be completed in our district. So this is a reissuance of bonds. Um not to exceed $19 million and that payment schedule will run us out through 2045 is what that will run us through. They were originally planned through 2035 adding 10 years on to them so that we can make this payment for affordable

for the district. We're not adding anything new, just completely refunded. >> Correct. >> Any questions or concerns with regard to the reissue? I guess my only question was we're going 20 years now out what we had. >> No, the the original bonds is 2035 and our decision was to go 10 more years or 15 more years. >> So the original bonds forecast 2035 we're 10 years on those that was how we get them into a position for us. Our options as the board were 10 to 15. >> Any other questions for Mr. >> See none. I need a motion, a second, and roll call vote to approve the resolution providing for the issue and sale of not to exceed 19 million of refunded ultimate bonds of the district, providing for the pledge of certain revenues

to the payment of the bonds, and providing for the levy of taxes to pay for bonds if the pledge revenues are insufficient. >> Billy Green, >> yes. >> Sydney Miller, >> yes. >> Eton, >> yes. >> Steve Robinson, >> yes. Yes. >> We need a motion, a second, and roll call vote to authorize the high school bookkeeper to establish the chess club account in the high school activity ledger. >> Second. >> Steve, >> yes. >> John Hutchinson, >> yes. >> Steve Robinson, >> yes. >> Kelly Green, >> yes. >> Miller. At this time, we need a motion, a second, and a roll vote to close the meeting in accordance with section 122A of the Open Meetings Act, citing the following exceptions as contained in section 122C. Stute the discipline to consider the approval of closed

minutes, discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, evaluation, and dismissal of specific employees, and to discuss litigation. Yes. >> Robinson. >> Yes. >> Young. >> Yes. >> Green. Yes. >> We need a motion to second and a roll call vote to the committee to open session. >> So Robinson, >> yes. >> Young. >> Yes. >> Miller. >> Kelly. A motion, a second, and a roll call vote to adopt the closed minutes of the meeting held September 30th, 2025. >> So movey, >> yes. >> Robinson, >> yes. >> Green. >> Yes. >> Miller. >> Yes. >> We need a motion, a second, and a local vote to approve the following personal recommendation as presented. the resation of Christy Conquer as prek coordinator at the prek center and to post a vacancy for the cook at the

junior high school >> yes >> Miller >> yes >> green >> yes >> having completed the items on the agenda a motion a second and a roll vote to adjourn the meeting until the next regular meeting Board of Education scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th, 202. >> Yes. >> Thank you everybody.
