001Nobody likes paying taxes, but when you do pay your taxes, there's nothing better than receiving a tax credit simply for doing something good. And receiving your tax credit is easier than you think. Arizona state law allows you, as a taxpayer, to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for any contributions or payments you make to an Arizona public school to support extracurricular or character-building activities. This tax credit is not a tax deduction; it's a dollar-for- dollar reduction of the actual taxes owed. For example, if you owe $500 in state taxes and make a $200 contribution to our school district, the taxes owed will be reduced to $300. That's a full refund due to your financial support of public service in our district. And if you're married, even better! Couples who file jointly can receive a tax credit

002of up to $400. That's not all, because if you receive a tax credit greater than the tax you owe, you can apply this tax credit to the following year. The tax credit is available to everyone. Arizona taxpayers, even if you don't have children, simply contribute to an eligible program at any of our schools by April 15th to receive your tax credit for this tax year. While eligible programs vary from school to school, contributions or payments made for field trips or extracurricular activities such as arts, drama, music, athletics, character building, and most clubs are eligible for the tax credit. When you contribute to one of our schools, you are in control because instead of going to the state in taxes, your money stays within our community, directly helping our children. You can also specify which program

003or activity will receive your money. You can contribute to a program at one school or distribute your money among several programs at multiple schools in the district—it's up to you. Or you can simply allow us to allocate your donation to a student who needs it most. The Arizona Tax Credit program is your opportunity to make a significant contribution to the education of a child you already know or a child you don't yet know and pay less in taxes to the state. To receive your tax credit for this tax year, make your contribution now to any of our schools. Visit our website valls.org/taxcredits. You can donate online easily and securely. Print the form and mail it or drop it off at any of our school district schools or call 60-26-29-6400. Make your donation for the tax

004credit today or before April 15th.
