001it's time for that are you ready up and running okay we're going to call this meeting to order we're going to start with a this is a little short uh one item board meeting so that we can pass uh so we can pay counselors we forgot to put on the agenda last last board meeting so we're going to do that real quick we'll start with the Pledge of Allegiance as everybody would please stand and follow me in the pledge [Music] I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all thank you [Music] okay so we only have one item on the agenda for this regularly I mean this uh special board meeting and that
002is uh Dr Ryan turn it over to you and explained exactly why we're doing this today that's kind of why we didn't do it last board meeting yes sir so just to be clear we are going to have a work study that's going to be after this one item we need to make sure we have board approval to give counselors a contract a two percent increase and the same retention bonuses afforded to teachers that was my oversight so we need to have just the board's approval a two percent increase for certified counselors so we're talking about certified school counselors and also a for the same group a two thousand dollar retention bonus paid in October so that's the we're looking for that approval Mr President okay that's item mile 1.1 can I have a motion
