002moving on to action items 3.1. Approve addendum to superintendent contract. On February 4th, 2026, the board of education took action to approve a multi-year superintendent employment agreement with Dr. Jack Chip Pettit commencing on July 1st, 2026. The board believes it is in the best interest of the district for the superintendent to have an effective transition in advance of this start date. The proposed addendum of the superintendent employment agreement provides for the superintendent to perform work in the district to facilitate the superintendent's understanding of district operations and future objectives. The superintendent will be compensated in a daily perdm commensurate with his annual creditable earnings. may have a motion to approve the addendum to the employment agreement between the board of education of Hinsdale Township High School District 86 and Jack Chip Pettit as presented. >> So
