001Heat. Heat. I can't hallelujah. How do you feel? Heat. Heat. Mic. I'm calling to order the workshop for Bullhead City School Board on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. Roll call. President Melinda Sabraski. Fred Rashton here. Charlene D is here. Zerziki here. Sheila Bernett here. Okay. Um 1.3 benchmark results. We have to Good evening. How are you guys? Good. Pretty good. How are you, Jen? So, we're here. It's quarter three. So, these were taken before spring break. So, it's been a little bit of time and now we're a week away from state testing came over, but go ahead and show you. We had kind of mixed. We had some really good growth in some areas or some I mean, not where we wanted, but we saw some and there other places not. But um

002so just a reminder, these are ELA goals that are on our um district integrated action plan. I'm not going to read them to you, but they're what we're looking at and we'll revisit because I have them later when we have our at the end of each section. So for benchmark three, these are the results for second grade reading. And then if we go to the growth, so A is the first quarter, B is the second quarter, C is the third quarter. You can see second grade did some pretty nice growth from the first quarter to the third quarter, especially kind of maintained from second to third. And the red is indeed good to see that go down. I was going to say she wants to see the red go down. Yeah, that's definitely showing some

003progress. Some minimal progress, but it is progress. Almost 20% there drop. So that's good. Third grade ELA. third grade. Yeah, that's Jen. Would you go back one slide, please? Um, uh, you might want to look at Desert Valley. There's a little bit of a celebration there. Yes, absolutely. Good. Okay. Okay. Okay. And then we go to fourth grade ELA. Fourth grade also struggled. Fourth grade. Yeah. Schools. Oh, the schools. So, did the did the kids coming into fourth grade this year, were they lacking the skills that would get them to this point to get We had quite a few last year. Well, that would that were well, that would still be third grade. We had quite a few in third grade that were retained or were up for retention. So, some of them we didn't

004retain because on the third grade ELA state assessment, if they don't pass the move on red reading piece of the assessment, they we have to retain them unless they're they have an IEP, have uh an are an EL student or have already been retained. So we did have quite a few last year that were eligible for retention. Now many most of them we did scoot up because they would fell into those categories. But yeah, and that's part of the reason we were working to try to build the skills with the 95% group that we're using now. Um because we recognize we're really missing the phonics piece of reading. I was going to I was going to say that. So I'm really glad that Jim did. um now that we've now that we have screeners clear

005up, you know, not just K3. Um we're noticing that there are a whole lot of the older kids who who don't have phonics. Yeah. And if you don't if you don't have phonics, then you can't decode and and if you can't decode, you can't comprehend. So our new tools are helping us identify some of the specific skills that we need to work on. So that's going to take us a bit of time now to backfill those skills. But we're hoping starting in K1, especially as they get older, it's going to help as we Yeah. as they go up on the grade levels. Same with fifth grade. And I do know in talking with um Michelle, like there are a lot of students that did not have those phonics skills. And unfortunately, when you get to

006the middle and upper grades, you don't you're not trained in phonics. So it's once again, you know, having to try to train those teachers to either do those interventions or um something like you. So they don't they're not strong in that area as teachers, most of them either because they're not trained in it. Sixth grade ELA was a celebration. They had some pretty nice growth growth. Yep. Improvement. Nice improvement there. Nice improvement. Well, something went right there, too. Yeah. Sixth grade is looking good. Kudos to those teachers. Looking much better. Yep. Seventh grade is also another big celebration. They were kind of stagnant um the first half of the year and um like they didn't they had zero students in proficient at the beginning of the year. They got a highly and so they've really

007done some boy they they definitely that looks very good there. That is good. They even got somebody in highly proficient. Yeah. And I believe it was five five somebodyies. Five people. Who? Well to dropped from 93 to 62 in minimum perfect scores. That means perfect scores. Yeah. Very good. Eighth grade and eighth grade kind of has been stagnant here. Eighth graders are eighth graders. They got they got high school anitis at this time of the year. No, but they're even showing some but they're still showing improve. There is I mean there's more in proficient. It's not that eighth grade I just get you. And so if we revisit our goals, um we also had the discussion when we were trying to to create goals for next year. Um that we're nowhere near our 45% goal

008for all of third through 8th grade. Um so right now in our benchmark, we're at 12.3 overall if you average all of the students um third through 8th grade. The special education students, we were aiming for 18%. Right now, they're at 1.7. They did grow a little. They were at 1% last time, but it's not a lot of growth. Um, and then our homeless students grew from 14% to 21.7%. Um, overall, and their goal is 33%. So, lots of growth with those kiddos. Okay, then we move to math. Once again, we visit the math goals. So, we have second grade math. Second grade also did nice job in both ELA and math this time. So you can see there back numbers. Nice drop there too. Nice for denim and back. Mhm. A lot of looks

009good. Declines in the red and inclines in the proficient and partially. We have third grade now. And they did grow. They grew in proficient and they dropped a good 6% in minimally. So there was growth. And Jen, if I um could remind you all that um anything in the red is from 0 to 60%. Yeah. Okay. So it's just a reminder that that's 0 to 60%. So within that red, we may have had some kids, we may have had some kids who grew from 10% to 40%. Or 10 to 50 or whatever. They're still in the red, but maybe made some significant growth. And this type of graph, as we learned a couple months ago, doesn't show us that. So, um, and then to have kids actually move out of the red into either yellow

010or green, uh, is really significant. Yeah. Okay. Fourth grade again. Desert valleys. Desert valley. Oh, we're having the sunrise. And then if we look at the overall not much not much change there in fourth grade. No, that's needs to be worked on. Fifth grade is hard to look at. Yeah, those kids are struggling in math. The fifth grade and I believe sixth grade is now fifth grade is not doing good on either. Co. No. Isn't that No. Right. No, they wouldn't have been five years ago in first grade. No. Kindergarten. No. Well, no. They might have. They would have been in kindergarten. Yeah. Yeah. they would have been in kindergarten. But for math skills, it's it also tends to be more when they go like in third grade, you go from learning to read to

011reading to learn. And it's kind of like that with fifth from fourth to fifth, they go from learning math to applying math. So there is a dip, but yeah, probably more word problems in fifth grade than they had in fourth. So, and then when they if they can't read, then it's a Yeah. Yeah. So, sixth grade similar sixth grade struggle in math. Question. Yes. On the bottom line here on this sheet, why were there only uh three students tested that were partially proficient? So, out of only three of the whole only three of the total. So, they show you 2% which is three students. All right. I got it. Oh, that's okay. Okay. Lots of numbers. Only one%. Yeah. So, sixth grade math. Math is apparently going the wrong way. Yes. Yes. Seventh grade. Uhhuh.

012Kind of all the classes. Not a lot of growth. Just about the same. Yeah. And then eighth grade is hard. So right now we are looking, we had Fastbridge, we were using FastBridge as our screener for math K8 and so Caroline was talking about math um screeners. We don't like it. It's not giving us what we need. So, I do have a committee um who has been meeting the last two weeks and we've been um going through meetings with various vendors to pick a new screener that'll give us a better look at where our students are and resources for teachers to help them intervene when the students are really low. And that's a piece we're missing um and a piece that student that teachers are asking for like they're low but now what do I

013do with them? So this we're looking for something that will better support us in especially tier 2 instruction because we have a lot of kids. We do have to fix tier one instruction which is core which is what everyone gets but we really do need to focus on tier 2 to help the big amount of large amount of students that are there. So, and if we look at our overall, we had well 70% of K2, but we've only been testing second grade. So, um second grade's at 19% proficient. Um currently, as an average third through 8th, there's only three 6% that are proficient on the third quarter. Now, we had some really good things going on in some schools in some grade levels, but when you average it out, it's yeah, a low average. Um

014I believe our uh students in special ed grew maybe 1 or 2% I think since first quarter and then um our home our students identified as homeless grew I think about 4%. But math is definitely need to be a focus without losing the focus on ELA. So right so then we'll move to science. So our goal for science was increasing by 15%. The slide I have later gives you better what what our goal is. This goal doesn't really give us the end% but we'll get there. So this is third grade science huge jumps a little bit better than the others. And then if we see And then fourth grade science. Oh, valley is doing real well. We did have some good growth growth overall with moving into proficient too and fifth grade science. kind of

015plateaued. Um, sixth grade they had some good growth from the second from um December to March, but not necessarily from the beginning, but from second to third they did. And now we'll get into where you see the most growth in science. So, we have seventh grade science. Holy cow. So, here's seventh grade science. That's awesome. We get to end with a high note celebration here. Mhm. Now, I wish that everything looked this way. Yeah. Yep. We'll get there. And then, thanks, Brent. Eighth grade also a good celebration. You see eighth grade results. Dropped 30 points. 32 points. That's good. Yeah, that's increase 38 up to 18% up on proficient. That's good. And so we go to our goals. So our goal for the year if we did the 15% raise would be 32% on the

016state assessment. So currently and it's tested in fifth grade and it's tested in eighth grade. So currently our fifth grade students are at 10% but our eighth grade students are above their goal at 38%. So if we average out all the students um we're at about 23.8% proficiency and like I said our goal is 32 and it's still a huge possibility we could reach that. I I think um we also right now have on display for the public um virtually but a new science program that the curriculum committee has decided to uh recommend to the board. But we have to display it for 60 days before we can ask official approval. But that program is the kids were more engaged, the teachers liked it and I think it'll help us along too better than what

017we have been using for the last seven years. So, and I'm not going to do the last slide, so we'll save the last slide. Anyone have any questions? Thanks, Jim. Thank you, Jen. I'm I'm happy to see that there's some been some improvement. Um, but I wish there had been more, but we started at such a low level. Take a long time. This is this is this is pretty good stuff. Yes, we're seeing I'm I'd like I'd like to know what Desert Valley is doing or what the science teachers are doing. Maybe science teachers should be teaching language arts, you know. I don't know. Um I think everybody looks like they're working hard. They are. So, yeah, they are. And we're interested in seeing how um you know how our kids are doing on the

018state testing. Yeah. Uh the little I've heard related because of course we compare it to our benchmark. And remember this is the this is the first year of this new benchmark testing too. So we don't have anything to compare you know we can't even compare this to previous year's data um uh because it's a new you know it's all it's all a new test. Um, so it'll be interesting number one to see how it how it relates to our state testing results this year and then it'll be interesting to see how it looks next year compared to this year on the benchmarks. Um, but you already noticed that, you know, we've already found some problems. So, particularly with our math screener, we thought we'd picked a pretty good math screener and it isn't helping us.

019Um, so we're not gonna, you know, we're not gonna stick with something that's not giving us the data and the information that we need. So, um I'm really happy that the committee said, "Wait a minute, let's let's not wait. Let's move forward." So, all all kinds of efforts to move us forward. That's good. Excellent. Any questions? Any other observations? Okay. Just I'd like to congratulate all of our teachers for we're seeing results from all your hard work and your dedication and you guys are just awesome. We love you and we're here to support you any way we can. So any teachers here that have ideas and want to bring them forward, we welcome them. We want to hear from you guys, support you. Thank you. Okay. Um item 1.4, employee appreciation event. Cassie, are you

020in charge? And this is Cass. Uh so I just wanted to give you guys an update. Uh the planning for the appreciation lunchon to celebrate all of our incredible employees um is underway. Uh Desert Valley will be hosting. This is a luau themed event. It will be on Friday, May 1st, and doors will open at 11:00 a.m. Uh, Chartwells is going to be catering and island cuisine. There will be, of course, games and prizes, uh, recognition and retirement awards. Um, I've also enlisted Erica Acriman uh to work her magic, gathering some fantastic donations uh to give out as prizes. And um I've also asked Cassie Wily to transform the cafe into an island oasis. Uh does the board have any additional input? make sure they get a hold of me for donations. I've got stuff

021I can donate. And if any of you know anyone or businesses that may be willing to donate, please reach out. Okay. Have somebody get a hold of me cuz I've got some good resources for that. Oh, okay. I will. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you, Cassie. We know how well you do with planning. Yeah, we're So, we just need to tell Lance whether or not we're going to be there for this. Is that what we're going to do? Or should is this something? Well, you can tell Cass. It's just we tell Lance because he's really good about posting the quorum, possible quorum. Yeah, I think so. It's Mayday. with flowers. And that's You know what I learned recently is that anybody who has a hard copy calendar is actually reinforcing their memory. Oh, anybody who uses

022a phone is out to lunch. So, um I just want those people, all five of or four of you guys who are using your phone to know that I have my my Is that why I have to remind you every day what's on your calendar, what you have to do. Does it count if you have to type it in like in three different places? I just thought that was a interest. It came out of Scientific American and I couldn't couldn't believe that they had something like that that would be just really subjective. But anyway, um it's because you're writing it down. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sure that's it because I'm writing it down. It's the same as Oh my gosh. I don't have anything on May 1st, Barbara. I know. Me neither. Neither did I. So,

023we're in. I'm in. Thank you, Cassie. Just remember to put it write it in your copy calendar. Write it in now. Just wanted you guys. But it was Scientific American. I believe in Scientific American. Okay. Item 5 1.5. Um I need a motion to adjourn the the workshop. I make a motion we adjourn the workshop. I'll second that motion. All those in favor? I Melinda Sabroski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. I Barb Zarziki. I Sheila Bernett. Okay, now we just have to wait for five minutes. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. thinking about the wheel. Heat. Heat. Natalie. Heat. Heat. Heat. Hey, Heat. regular to order the regular meeting for Bullhead City School Board on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at 6 o'clock. six o'clock p.m. Maybe Barb needs to check Kathy's calendar too. Roll call. President

024Melinda Sraki. Fred Rushton here. Charlene Dia is here. Barb Zarziki here. Sheila Bernett present. Would you guys please stand and say the pledge with me? Get out of the way. I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Citizens present, please. I hope you have signed in in the back of the room. It's just nice to know who's here and who's helping us out a little bit. Um, did I skip a page? Nope, I did. I skipped a number. Item 2.5 called to the public. We have the recording. Okay. This is the time that the public may speak to the governing board regarding issues within the jurisdiction of the governing board and subject

025to reasonable time, space, and manner restrictions as the governing board may establish. C policy BH. Comments will be limited to three minutes per individual unless specifically waved by the governing board. At the conclusion of the call to the public, individual members of the governing board may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the board, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. However, the governing board cannot take action on matters that have not been noticed in advance as part of the agenda. Okay, we have two people who would like to speak to us tonight. Uh Kimberly Johnson, would you like to come up? Hi, good evening. Hi. I am coming to the board today to speak about a certain bus driver um

026for the Desert Valley route. It's bus J. His name is Ted. Um I have had multiple issues with my child on this bus. Um where it is now to a point where it is looking like bullying. Um this last incense that I've had with him towards my daughter was she was sitting towards the back of the bus and he said something from the driver's seat. She did not hear him. And when he turned around and said something, she looked at him and said, "I did not hear you." And he got up and according to the other children and my daughter stood over her and told her to shut up. Now, my my older son stepped in and said, "Get out of my sister's face." And now he's looking at a write up as well, which

027I told him, "You did the you did the appropriate thing to stick up for your sister." and and he's not in trouble with me either way. Um my concern is is this is not the first time I've had a problem with this driver with my daughter. The first time I had a problem with this driver and my daughter was when my daughter was in kindergarten and he squirted her in the face with a water bottle because she fell asleep. So I addressed it with him then about that incident and he said he doesn't like touching the children when they're sleeping. So he just assumed squirt him in the face with water. Now mind you, I had two other children on that bus that got off at the same bus stop at the same time that

028he could have addressed to get my daughter to wake up to get off the bus. Just like this instance, he did not have to scream from the front of the bus and expect children to hear him from the front of the bus all the way to the back of the bus. Um my children are a work in progress. Um the this this younger set that are at school right now are just the youngest four of 10 children. So we have had lots of children in the home. We have been doing this for a really long time. I know children can be a bit much. I know that sometimes they don't listen. That's one thing I understand. But we are required as parents to make sure that we are talking to our children and working with

029our children about the appropriateness of respect and I feel it's important to speak to the faculty members and the bus drivers about the level of respect these children deserve as well. Um because these bus drivers are the pit stop between our homes and the school and our children get a bad rep sometimes because they end up at school and they're in a bad mood and sometimes it's not coming from home. Sometimes it's that stop from getting on the bus in between home and the school. And I just felt that needed to be addressed today because he's very very inappropriate and and it is on the minds of bullying and he is an adult and these are little children in elementary school. Thank you so much. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Thank you.

030Um Dr. Stewart, did you have I do. I would like acknowledge this. Yeah. No, I would like to respond. Um my apologies to you, Miss Johnson. Thank you. Um uh um someone came to speak with me about this situation on your behalf. Yes, ma'am. and I said I would follow up. I did a piece of the followup which is I did talk with the transportation director and uh and he looked at the video and he got back to me your written uh your written complaint which is absolutely appropriate. Um uh I never saw it. It usually goes to Cass, my assistant. Um she admitted to me a couple of minutes ago that she dropped the ball too. So both of us apologize for dropping the ball. Uh we did kind of follow up. what didn't

031happen was getting back to you and I'm really sorry for that. Um and I'm glad that you brought it to our attention. We we own our mistakes and we try to fix things. Um the the driver has um has had followup. Okay. Yes, ma'am. Okay. Thank you. Yes. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention and I'm Thank you so much. If it happens again, we expect to see you back. Thank you so much. But come to me first, please. Of course, that's the only way to um our second guest tonight is Jean O'Neal. I guess he needs to talk to us. I'm Gene O'Neal. If you don't know who I am, I'm your Bullhead City Councilman. I live about two blocks over that way. So, I'm in your neighborhood all the time.

032Yeah. Hi. It it it surprises me that I'm a knucklehead and I haven't been here before, but I plan on coming a little bit more. And what I'm here to do is offer my services to the boards, the principles of the other schools, or anybody that needs my assistance with anything. I'm not a miracle worker, but I'm a good guy that'll try to help out. I I got this idea because I got asked to read at Diamond Back Elementary School and I got to read to all the third grade grade kids and it was I'm a grandpa and I'm a dad and uh that just warmed my heart. Those kids are amazing. Those kids are amazing. I actually spent a lot of time all over the world. I was in the army for 20 years

033and I retired as a first sergeant out of the United States Army. It was with the 82nd Airborne Division. So, I'm used to unruly people. So, the kids were well behaved. I was surprised to see we have a lot of Filipino teachers there, which is awesome to me. I spent a year in the Philippines and my daughter that my oldest daughter is a Filipino, half Filipino and American. So, I got to talk a little with the teachers and stuff, which was amazing to me that I got to do that. Uh, what I'm here is I got a bunch of my cards. It's got my personal number, my personal email. This is not a city thing. This is Gene O'Neal thing. just reaching out to you guys. I'll leave them with the secretary here so you

034can pass them out and feel free to share my number with teachers or or anybody at the schools that think I can come over and read the kids or just give you talking or whatever. I was an army recruiter for a long time. I I did a lot of different things in the world. I'm from Bridgeport, Connecticut on the other side of the country and I've lived in 40 out of I've been in 40 out of 50 states. I've been all over Europe and Asia. So, there's a lot of things I've done that uh that I might be able to give back. I have no problem doing that. Uh this is not a political move because I could care less about my politics or any of that stuff. This is just me offering my services

035to help out. And it's amazing to me that I've known you've been on the school board for a million years and I haven't come down here and done this. And Fred and me are brand new friends for a couple of months now. And I got to meet you the other day which was awesome. And I'm I'm here to help. When any you think of something, you got a question, ask me. I also could be a good liaison. If people know me, I get things done. When I tell you I'm going to do something, I'll do it. So, I'm just thankful that you let me come up here and talk and introduce me. And please, if you want to get a hold of me, I'm easy to get a hold of. Literally, you could call me

036and I can walk over. So, I I got a question. Since we live live in the same neighborhood, I kind of live down here, too. Um, and you do all these things. Do you cook? Do you clean house? I have a wonderful wife that if I picked up a vacuum, she yells at me to put it down or if I try to she need it. I am I am a first sergeant in real life, but that at her she's a general. I have a sign in my house that say she's the commander-in-chief. I I I'm glad that there's a that you don't excel at everything. I I do a lot of things for the community, so I'm trying to get more involved. I've been involved with the churches. I I helped run the men's home

037down the street at the end of the road by praise chapel. I work at the food bank. There's a lot of things I got involved in and this has all happened over the last couple of years by the grace of God that I'm standing up here and doing these things. Uh but if you ask me, I will come. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks, Jean. I thought maybe I had my problem solved, but I guess I don't. 2.6 donations. Uh, Girl Scout. Oh, why wasn't Oh, for teacher appreciation. I will be there early. I like Savannah are my favorite. That's nice. Toad to replace. Look at the toad. That's a lot of donations. That's a lot of cookies. Thank you. Thank you. That's great. Holy cow. 11 cases. Did they

038She gets three u get three three letters though, right? Yeah. It was a total of 30 30 cases. Thank you very much. And and uh a few here for the district office. Oh, then a few boxes. Oh, they're all gone. Oh, well, last I looked there I think there were a few cookies left in like three boxes and I think we started out with a dozen boxes. So, the the dozen people here took care of them pretty fast. Well, Girl Scout cookies are just so good. Yes. So, we had this kind of donation. We had somebody stop talk to us about donating time. This is wonderful. Thank you. Item 2.7, adoption of the agenda. I need a motion to adop adopt the agenda as presented. Madame President, before you do that, um I would uh

039recommend that you drop Would you scroll down, please, Cassie? New business. Clear at the bottom. Um uh that you adopt the agenda on uh leaving out uh 10.5. I'm withdrawing that item. You're with I'm withdrawing that item. Okay. Okay. All right. So, I need an adoption of the agenda. Um, with the omission of item 105, I I make a motion we adopt the agenda as presented with the withdrawal of uh item 10.5. I'll second the motion. All those in favor? I, Melinda Sabroski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. Hi, Barb Zarziki. I Sheila Bernett. Item 2.8, superintendence reports. Reports with two S's on the internet. Madame President and board members, you can see uh our collective reports there. Um uh I don't really have anything to add. I don't have any particular updates this evening,

040but I would answer any questions or at least try to answer any questions you might have about these reports. When I looked at it, it was pretty straightforward. We just had a sort of a run-of-the-mill month this Well, other than the good news about uh budget, which you're going to look at a little bit later, but yeah, that's always good news. Smile on my face. That's always good news. Okay, any questions for Dr. Stewart? Oh, okay. Moving on then. Um, board member item 2.9, board member updates. Um, I guess three of us are going to Phoenix to the AD and um going to get educated, try to uh anything else. Uh, I'm going to be at Diamondback on the 13th. Um, they're doing like a career day, so Mrs. Hazel Grove asked if I would

041come and spend a couple hours. So that's on Wednesday the 13th. Oh, well you're going to have a busy week next week. No, it's it's next month. Oh, May. Okay. Oh, good. Good. Good. Anything else from anybody? Okay. I think that's it. Um, yeah, I just had a lot of fun reading at the elementary schools. I wondered why you showed up tonight, but here it is. Fox Creek Junior High, New York DC, Virginia trip 3.1. Do we get to hear something? Oh, wait a minute. Oh, this is a board member update before you Oh, that's a board member update. Okay, hang in there for just a minute. I thought this was down somewhere. Yeah, I'm sorry. False alarm. We have a board member update for Mr. Bobby Sinko. Right. Seventh grade science. You know what?

042I am so proud of science. I'm so proud that I'm a retired science teacher. This guy, this guy decreased the minimally proficient by 40%. Wow. He increased, wait a minute, he's still got stuff going on here. He increased the proficient by 20%, but then he went on to highly proficient and added 15 more%. This is phenomenal. This guy deserves that TV. Yes. Is he here today? He is here. And the TV is over there. So, you can go present it. Oh, okay. I better take off my shaw. And I'm not really impressed. It doesn't matter. You know what? I want to thank you this way. Thank you very much. That is phenomenal. Phenomenal. What do you do? Consistency. So being consistent, consistent on everything. Consistency. Show him the TV. No, you don't. You have your

043Prius, don't you? I saw the Prius sitting out there. I thought you were driving that today. No, you had the truck this morning. We should have had the truck near somebody else's Prius. That just gives me goosebumps. That's a goosebumper. Okay, now we get to talk about this trip that Fox Creekers are going to take. No, took took took Somebody want to talk to us about this? Uh, Miss Jordan's coming up and her travelers. Oh, the travelers are here, too. I've been desert wrap way too long. Come on, travelers. Get over here. Don't be shy now. So, okay. Could we have them introduce themselves? I am Mrs. Jordan. I'm uh the eighth grade science teacher and ed travel um adviser at Fox Creek Junior High. I'm Lee. I'm the eighth grader that went to the

044school or the school. I'm Jade. I was named. I'm Elizabeth. I'm one of the travelers. Okay, ladies, you will have to speak up a little bit so that these people in the room can hear and so the people watching on TV can hear. Tell them who you are. I'm Nvea. I'm the eighth grader that went on this trip. I'm Jade. I'm the seventh grader that went on this trip. I'm Elizabeth. I'm the eighth grader that went on this trip. There we go. All right, now we got it. So, I got to spend 10 nights, 11 days with these crazy ladies. Our first stop was uh a redeye to from Vegas to um New York. And this was one of the pictures that we took from where, Elizabeth? Empire State Building at the very top. So,

045it's really pretty. Um it was cloudy, so we didn't get to see like the real vibrant colors that you would see on TV, but I'm going to move it forward. It's a cool picture. Mhm. That's when we got to New York to the airport and I took a picture of the three of them by the I love New York sign. Don't hide behind your sister. All right. Um why don't you go ahead and tell them a little bit about New York? Um by the mic because you can see it up here. Uh we went over to the Statue of Liberty. We went onto a boat over there with the other travelers around. It took about like 25 minutes to get over to the other side and there was an inside of like there was museums

046inside this and in it and then uh hold on. Oh yeah, the spiral staircase. And then we were supposed to go to the very top, but we didn't have the tickets. But it was still really it was still a really nice view, but it was really really cold. And uh we went to watch uh Broadway wicked concert with I said that it was it was nice except the people that behind us but it was it was enjoyable. It was probably one of my favorite things there. And what else? 911. Oh yeah, we went on the 9/11 memorial trip. we saw. It was very sad, but it was nice that we got to honor the people that were there that passed away. And we had got bracelets, but I don't have mine on cuz I'm I

047thought I had practice today, but we didn't have practice. And then from New York, um Jake Come on. You guys talk all day long. Oh my goodness. So, this is one of the tallest buildings we went on and right when we got up, I didn't know what it was. I thought I forgot we were up there and it was a lot of security to get in, but it was very nice. So, we saw a lot of buildings and then there was like these telesc telescope things that we got to see from different parts of the buildings and angles of New York. Yeah. And then um wait a minute. Go back to that screen. Um was it scary? Yeah. I wouldn't go off the edge. It was really cold and windy. So the wind So was

048the building going like this a little bit? Just the wind was blowing us. Well, you were trying to shoot and windy doesn't mean anything when you're looking down from that distance. That's got to be scary. It was because you don't I mean they kept trying to move me aside. Okay. All right. I just wanted to know whether you guys were for real or not. If you were scared, you're for real. Okay. Yeah, this one was four levels. This was Yeah, this one. Yeah, we saw the fire trucks that were there and then like we got during it. It had like many videos. So we got to see like when the plane crashed, what was inside the building, um how many people died from there and it was like many like news like there was a

049different section of people doing the news thing about it and it was very sad but and then the restaurant on the restaurant it was all the people that like came over like all the police people that came over and helped. Yeah, the first responders that came and helped um over in New York and they put their badges all over the walls on the ceilings. It like it was all over. Yeah. And we saw some Arizona California tags which was pretty cool. Cool. Someone else. Um this is the Holocaust. Oh no. This is the Holocaust Museum. We learned a little bit more about what happened during that time with what happened with Nazi Germany and how sad it was. One of the places that one of the areas in it showed a little boy and the

050sto and kind of a Daniel what happened um in his home and everything. We even saw it's not a picture up here, but there showed each light of the children that passed away. There was 1,500,000 children that sadly died during the Holocaust. But we got to see all these pictures and um all these victims that sadly passed away. Yeah. The wall of the victims and there's protesting against the Nazi Germany. So we felt really bad but we wanted to give our thanks to the people who were actually strong during this time. All right. Then we went to u took a car and we drove about 2 hours and 25 minutes to Washington DC. We got to see the White House um kind of from afar because they're doing construction a few miles out and there

051was a fake President Trump in front. The girls got a picture with him. Um in we did a lot of walking. So in New York in 4 hours we did over 9 miles which was a lot. Wow. Um in Washington DC we did about 8 miles in a few hours. Um we went to go see the monument. We couldn't go inside of it though cuz we didn't have tickets. But it was super super tall and the girls liked to walk around it. Again, it was really cold. Rain was amazing, right? Oh, wait till we get to the rain part. All right. Uh, the capital. You can tell them about the capital and your earbuds and whatever. Wait a minute. The capital was cool. We got to watch a documentary of how the capital was formed

052and the house of representatives and the senates don't get along and have separate entrances. So for the capital, um the president was there that morning, so security was really beefed up. So we got sniffed by the dog twice. We got patted down. Capital police, uh, secret service, all of them. They did, uh, lots of security, which is to be expected. Um, and then somebody in the movie theater lost her earbuds. And then we had to go back at 9:30 at night, talk to the Capitol police, and please give me her earbuds so we can go back to Arizona. That was fun. And then we went to the Lincoln Memorial. Um, it was really surreal. It was real quiet, real peaceful. We went to the, um, Vietnam wall. I got to scratch my uncle's name on

053a paper because he had died um in Vietnam. So that was pretty cool. Um and then we drove to Virginia uh which Virginia is absolutely beautiful. The weather was complete opposite. It was about 32° um in New York and Washington DC. Washington DC we had parked the car about a mile. We came out of a restaurant. All of a sudden the wind blew. People started screaming because their umbrellas went the other way and then it downpoured on us. So, we were soaked to the bone by the time we got back to the hotel. That was fun. Um, you guys can talk about this one. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Um, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was um very nice to see. It showed um some of the soldiers that weren't able to be identified

054uh during um war or fights. Um but we saw a little um how do I Yeah. Yeah. But um it was really nice to see they were just um uh showing appreciation to those who had fought and were unknown uh not identified or anything. But we were just really glad to have the moment of silence to um have appreciation for those that we couldn't know anything of. So, it was pretty much life-changing for all of us to see. Mount Vernon was neat to see. It was a lot of walking. We got to visit President Washington and his wife's tomb. He is on the right and his wife is on the left. Best part. Next we went to Virginia and we got to go to amusement park and ride a whole bunch of roll gardens. Amusement

055park. It's the same thing. We rode a lot of roller coasters. saw gliders they bald eagles and had a blast all the last day before going back to Arizona. So this ride was like their favorite ride and every time they got on the ride they got stuck on the ride because somebody in either the front row or the back row seat belt wouldn't come undone. So they had to put the ride out of um service and then every time they saw it go again around the park. Let's go back. What was that called? Griffin. Griffin. The Griffin. Yeah. Monster. The Lochness Monster. Yeah. I went on the roller coasters with them. Okay. Tight air. I told her I was going to. Um, anyways. So, you can ask them questions. I think that they had a

056good time. Um, so does the Bush Gardens there have a ton of animals? Because the one in Florida has a ton of animals, ton, but they have bald eagles, they have wolves, they have birds, they have stales. So you could go and you could pet the pin stales or go up. Every time she saw a sign, she would say, "Net, you better take a picture of it." Well, yeah, cuz I was driving. You have to take a picture. And then I forgot about it. She's like, "You're doing it on the way back." So, and that's it. They approved your trip, so you guys Thank you, ladies. Thank you very much for sharing with us. Thank you. And thank you to the parents of these ladies for trusting us with your kids for 11 days and

05710 nights. I was happy that my daughter drove everybody crazy. So that's cool. I'm just saying that was that was phenomenal. Thank you. Appciate that. Thank you for your comments. Okay. Switch around here a little bit. things are changing. Just quick note, the fact that they saw Wicked, the girls may not be aware of it. There's a Fox Creek connection, a Fox Creek alone. JD Gish played the male lead in Wicked for over a year on Broadway. Yeah. He wasn't there for his performance play at Fox Studio on the show that they saw. That's awesome. That's nice, too. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for that information. Um I need a motion to to accept the consent agenda. Madame President, am I in the right spot? Mhm. Okay. I think so. Madam President, I would like

058to uh make a motion to accept the uh consent agenda with the exception of item 411. 411. I have a comment about that item. Okay. Anybody else have something they would like to second? I don't I second it. All those in favor? I saski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. Hi, Barb Zarziki. Hi, Sheila Barnett. Okay, Fred, you're up. Cass, if you wouldn't mind please bringing up uh that article, the title one district. And on page three of five, uh I noticed an item six. We actually do read these things, you guys. Item number six. Uh the at the second bullet it says tracking year. I think that should be children's. So uh I just I would just make a motion that we would uh amend that to make that word properly children's and then

059we can accept this as far as I'm concerned. That's good catch. Yeah, good catch. Second. I second it. All those in favor? I Melinda Saski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. Hi Barb. Hi, Sheila Bernett. It was a test, Fred. Yeah, it was a test. You passed. I'm gonna have to write home about that. You know, I don't know how many times you can read something and read something and read something and thank you, Fred, for catching or even do spell check. Yeah, I'm sure Jen did spell check and it missed it. So, item 5.1, revised policy, GCCA, professional and support staff paid time off, second reading. We reconvene into public session. I make a motion we reconvene into public session. I'll second the motion. All those in favor? I Melinda Subraki. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. I Barb Zarziki. I Sheila Bernett. Um item 10.2. U. Uh, Madame President and board members, uh, we, uh, establish a contract with auditors for a five-year contract, and this is the renewal year. Uh, we, uh, opened the, uh, opened three bids. Uh, they went, the invitations went out, I think, to seven uh, different accounting or CPA agencies who qualify to do school district audits. We got three quotes and um uh opened those and evaluated them this

068week. Um I'm recommending that we uh approved Hayen Buckler Hayen Buckner uh for uh the audits for school years 2627 through 3031. Have we used those before? Yes, that's been our current uh our current uh I will tell you that it was uh very close in the scoring process. We use a rubric that is provided for us by the uh auditor general's office and um uh so you know it was it was pretty close for uh all three and I'm sorry the name Hayen Buckner Hen B ker and they're out of St. George Utah. Okay, I need a a motion. Oh, excuse me. Is there any discussion? I need a motion to approve. Well, I can make this motion. Um, I move that we approve the recommended uh a firm Haven Buckner as our auditing

069for the for sub for 26 27 right through 3031. It's a fiveyear contract 31. Okay. Five-year contract. I'll second that motion. All those in favor? I Melinda Sabraski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. I Barbara Ziki. I Sheila Bernett. Budget revision three. I know. I know. And you'll get a new one in May, too, because that's our final one for the year. Um U but I'm really excited and and I'm I'm kind of sorry they left, although I understand why. Um I don't know what our principles and our schools did but uh our attendance our average daily membership uh increased significantly between uh the 1 of January and the middle of February. uh when uh on the 15th of February is when the you know ad the 15th of each month is when AD really

070re-evaluates AD uh ADM and uh our um our average daily membership went up significantly um and to the tune of $233,000. Great. And um uh since I wanted to get that money in the budget and recommend recom make some recommendations about it, I thought I better do a budget revision. So uh in this case um I what what you see in front of you actually there are no changes on the first page for M uh but I applied the entire 233,000 uh to capital which is on page two. Uh well that's not exactly true if you go back to page one. Sorry. Uh no it is. Go on down. Go on down. It is on page two. Uh, essentially it's the um because see see where it says Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Give it

071a couple years cash. You'll need to do that. Yeah. Don't quite know. There was a yellow highlight on Yeah, I was going to say go down right there. Put it right there. That That's one that they put in. Um, actually it doesn't show on here, but I'm I'm requesting that we apply it all. You can actually see it right there. U where it says unrestricted capital outlay fund. Uhhuh. Uh our current uh the the current budget was 1 million 03 1,137,000 and some odd dollars. So you can see I added the 233,000 there. Yeah. H. So, what are we going to do with this? Well, that's an item on the agenda. Ah, okay. Um, I need a motions on this. Do um do I have a motion to adopt re budget revision three with the

072additional monies in C and unrestricted? I'll make a motion to adopt uh budget revision number three for fiscal year 26, 2026. I'll second the motion. All those in favor? I Meinda Saskki. I Fred Rushton. N Charlene Diaz. Hi V Zarziki. I Sheila Bernett. Okay. I bet this is where the 200 plus plus some money. Yeah. Okay. Item 10.4. 4 capital projects over $50,000. Um, Madame President and board members, um, this has been the year to pilot and makes make recommendations for changes in science curriculum, science materials, and the committee has uh met recently um to review uh feedback from the sites relative to piloting two uh programs that that are different from our current program. and uh continue to consider the current program. Um the one that uh they are recommending is um on the

073website now already. Yeah. Has to be available for public review on the website and Jen's already put it up there. Has to be reviewed for 60 days before it comes to the board for approval. Um so, so I'm not asking for approval of a specific program. However, once they picked one, we needed to have, you know, once they recommended one, we needed to have a handle on um on the expense of of funding that. So, uh the representative sent uh Jen two proposals. One being for approximately $139,000 for one year, a one-year contract. The second one being for three three about $35,000 for a six-year contract. Wow. A difference of Yeah. over the over the six years of 800 over $800,000. Yeah. Common sense says go with the six-year contract. Yes. Okay. And uh and

074so it behooved me to move a little bit of money around in the in the uh capital uh budget. and use a good bit of this 233,000. Uh so we know that no program is going to be less than the one that they're going to recommend. So I'm just wanting to earmark the money uh to uh look at a six-year program. The other benefit uh of this is of having the six-year contract is this particular company uh is in the process of realigning their entire program to align with Arizona standards. That won't be ready for next school year, but it will be ready for the year after. and we will be grandfathered in to receive all of those changed materials in this contract. So once again, it would be poor fiscal management to recommend that

075we go with an annual contract for them. So I'm I'm asking for approval uh to earmark $35,000 for a science a new science program. Dr. Stuart, how long have these people been in uh in business? I have no idea. Oh, a while. We already have their preschool program. They have multiple different, but they're they're not new. Okay. And they are spec and they're pretty much known for for science as a science. You know, it's not based on what I looked at online, they're pretty much science, right? They do it all. Okay. when I looked it up, it it was very much, you know, it was very focused on science. So, they've been doing it a while. The second uh the second request is um now that we have reduced uh the CTE options at Fox

076Creek from 3 to one. Um u because two of those positions were uh were eliminated positions. Um uh then I felt like we need to make sure that we have the appropriate materials and resources to make that one program successful. Our computer lab uh there uh the equipment in it ranges from uh from a couple of years to about eight years old. Um and so some of it is on the on the verge of not being able to be y you know updated and supported. Um, plus I thought, you know, we're looking at a steam pro steam program for uh that CTE and um a good bit of that is technology. Um, and so, you know, I want to make sure they have the tools that they need to be successful. Um, James has been

077doing some research for me. U, we think we can come in below the 50,000, but I wanted to be sure that I just didn't go over without having your approval. So, um, that's why I put a $50,000, uh, thing on there. So, that uses some of the money that we currently have in the in the capital budget, uh, and a little bit of the of the new money to round that out. The third one is, uh, we've talked about I've talked with you about the fact that our transportation uh, meeting area and whatever in in the bus barn, uh, has some real safety issues and health and safety issues. Um, so I would like to get started on uh a a replacement uh that I'm now calling the transportation annex. I couldn't figure out what

078to call it. Um uh we are we are doing u upgrades and and fixing up the trailer to move the offices back out there. But we want to make sure that it's a good work environment and it's been used for storage now for seven six or seven or eight years. And so, you know, we want to make sure that it's usable, but it doesn't begin to have the space to have a meeting room and and that kind of thing. Uh, plus we really do need restrooms that are accessible by bus drivers outside of business hours. Um, because, you know, they bring buses back to the yard and they need to be able to get to a restroom. Um, so, um, I know we can't do the whole project for this amount, but I'd like to

079start phase one. Uh so I've got addition to uh of a transportation annex building. I'm calling it that just so that we can keep it separate from bus barn and trailer. Uh lease or lease purchase of a prefab building or a trailer or design, engineering and construction of a building. Lots of choices there because we want to look for the most uh uh financially efficient use of the money. Um, so I'm asking for a commitment of $57,000 from current capital budget. Um, and using that $22,000 in insurance proceeds that you authorized me last month to use for any kind of cap, you know, any kind of facilities that we needed it for. So that would give us uh that would give us $79,000 for phase one. What might be included in phase one kind of

080depends on what prices look like and whether we're, you know, whether we're moving toward a prefab, whether we're moving toward a trailer, whether we're moving toward a a, you know, a a stick build. Okay. Uh, so it would be phase one. Um, and then, uh, and then we would, you know, then as money becomes available, we would continue that project out of new, you know, out of new money. So, I'm asking for uh your authorization to earmark $57,000 out of capital for phase one of the transportation annex and the 22,000 as well. Well, you already authorized me to use the 22,000 from insurance proceeds, but I kind of put it in there so that you would know I had se 79,000 to spend on phase one. Any questions? I make a motion to approve the

081three proposed capital projects over $50,000. I'll second the motion. All those in favor? I Melinda Sraki. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. I Barb, Sheila Bernett. Okay. Thank you. Item 10.5 was pulled. 10.6 Six, -ate vendor selection. Uh, Madame President, we have uh a couple of documents there. Uh, Cass, you might want to put them up, pull them up. And if you have questions, we do have James in the room and um uh so he could answer any questions. What you're looking at here is the rubric that uh or no, the comparison sheet for the um well, it is the rubric as well uh for the bids that came in. Uh we do this with any any uh project that's pretty much with projects over $10,000, but for sure anything that might go over $100,000.

082And um and so you can see they put, you know, uh they decided we decide on the rubric before we ever open the bids. So um uh they decided on three categories. Eligible price, uh ineligible price, uh and then other factors. I'm not sure what ineligible price means, but what's ineligible? That might be one for us to ask James about. Yeah, please. Please. Good evening. Uh so the evaluation criteria for eligible and ineligible prices is because this is an -ate project um the eligible network equipment and licensing and that sort of stuff we basically get at 85% off. Um and then the ineligible products so some of the warranties and that sort of thing are notate eligible and we have to pay 100% of those costs. Okay. Um, and the way that the -ate rules

083are written is that the eligible price of the goods and services must be the most heavily weighted factor when we do any evaluation. So, we could have said eligible price was worth two points and then have 98 other things that were all worth one point just as long as the eligible price is the most heavily weighted item. So, uh, this is very similar to the evaluation criterias that we've used in the past. um you know heavily weighting the eligible goods and services then the ineligible price and then the other factors usually is like our experience with the vendor um whether they provided references and the feedback we get from those references um are they local that sort of thing with the products that we asked for this is a just a transactional thing they're not

084doing any on-site work or anything like that we're renewing some licenses is and getting a little bit more network equipment to kind of fill in some gaps that we still have some old equipment out there running and and get stuff moved around and and try to keep things up to date. So, what's the selection, James? Which one would you advise us to choose? Select uh the selection team. Yeah, the the selection team chose Gov Connection as the the vendor and we just brought it to the board to, you know, go ahead and award that to them. Uh, and with the way the -ate works, everything is on a delayed cycle. Um, so you approve this tonight, we can't do anything until July 1st. Uh we also wait until we actually get approval from -ate to

085buy the the stuff that we don't don't have to have immediately. Uh so like on the quote the the middle line item there that's our renewal for the the management system that we use to keep everything running. We have to have that. So even if we don't have approval I think it runs out midepptember. Even if we don't have approval by then from -ate, that's something that we would probably have to move forward with and hope that the -ate funding comes through to reimburse us back for that that amount. Okay. Thank you. So, we're going with government connection, huh? Yeah, it's gov connection. Okay. Do I have a motion to approve using Gov Connection? I make a motion we approve using Gov Connection for our rate vendor for the 2627 school year. I'll second that

086motion. All those in favor? I saski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. I Barb Zarziki. I Shan Bernett. Okay. Item 10.7, discussion and possible action to submit policy priorities for inclusion in Arizona State Boards Association 2027 political agenda. These are the same ones that we've had some of them for seven or eight years. Yeah. For the last 10 years. Um, and having attended some of those meetings, they aren't going to change. So, I move that we direct Cassie, our board secretary, to uh submit these to ASBA. I second it. All those in favor? I, Melinda Saski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. Hi, Barb Zerziki. I Sheila Bernett. Okay. 11.1 Future topics. Do we have any future topics we'd like to talk about? I'm hoping that we get to hear more like what we heard

087tonight from the kids. you've done an exceptional job of of uh I don't know whether you've asked the principles to come up with the ideas or whether you've come up with the ideas but exceptional job of of doing keeping us informed of what the kids are up to. I I'd like to make a comment about an observation. Um for the kids expo that we had um I had my own chiropractic office booth which happened to be exactly across from the school district's booths and I just the effort that went into that on their end and the energy and it was just well done. I really thought it was just if I was a parent, the energy was just amazing. There you go. Credit to Lance and Kate had a booth and uh for Childmind. Uh

088Sheree had a bo a booth for uh parent liaison and homeless. Did I miss anything? Lance did the Lance did the main one um and got everybody set up. It was fun to go see what it was just really like the way that uh Miss Wily was talking to parents who the kids went to a different different school. I mean, she it was just it was great. I just thought it was a really good representation of what we're trying to achieve. Make sure that gets back to your team. Well, well, two of them are here and they work hard at it. So, okay. I'm glad they're here to hear it. Good job. You never know who's watching. I didn't make it to kids expo this year. I had Canada practice, but that's either here or

089there. Can't be in two places at once, but I'm glad I'm glad, yeah, that was happening. Item 11.2, upcoming board events. Um, as per usual, we have this all prepared for us. 19. When does Maryland's Has it already happened? Um, kindergarten round up. Uh, last week. Last week. Kindergarten. 24th. How'd it go? It went pretty. I mean, we had for most of Desert Valley. I think they had like 40 and they had 24 25 somewhere in there at each sun island. Interestingly, the uh the state uh birth rate this I just learned this like just a week before that uh the Arizona birth rate uh was up in 2021. Oh, good. Well, which says that we might have more kindergarters than we thought we might have. It drops again. It dropped again in 22 and

090has been dropping since. But it that was the highest year probably in the last 10 years. So and and think about that 2021. Uh so uh yeah. So um but we had about the same number of stu of kindergarters register during roundup as we've had the last couple of years. So time will tell. Okay. May 19th. Um, anything special on here, Lance? As you can see, pardon me. As you can see, green, there are a lot of school activities. Lots of green. month and a half, you know, as school year winds down from a community standpoint. Uh if you're looking for places that you want to have your presence or things that you might be interested in, uh next week on the 15th, I'm sort of intrigued by the oldtimers of Mojave River Valley. It's

091going to be at the museum. I don't know who the speakers are going to be. Um but uh the museum website says that folks who've been in the area for a long time are going to talk about history bridge to bridge. Uh we're probably going to have some of our students in the ghostike theater show up at Mountain View Center. That's the children's theater um under River City Community Fair Players. And then one of our parters in the community is Boys and Girls Club of Colorado River. They are going to have uh a fundraiser on May 5th for a single deio fundraiser which will benefit some of our kids. Those are probably community standouts that I can think of. But everything else, there are some of the school things that you might be interested in,

092too. Uh, another one that's coming up on May 5th, Lance, is uh at the senior center. They're having a Cinco de Mayo fundraiser for the food bank. Okay. I saw it was on one of my events things on Facebook and stuff. I saw What's a growth assembly? Um uh the growth assembly I think has to do with how um celebrating how much k individual kids have grown on uh benchmark testing. Uh so it identifies you know it recognizes kids who've made you know whether they're which whichever one of those colors are in or if they've moved between colors. So, you know, it's an opportunity even for some of those kids in the maybe still in the uh minimally proficient, but if they are kids who've grown 20 points or whatever, uh get recognized. So, we

093don't have a time for that though, right? Uh I I mean, I don't know. We don't know. It wasn't on their calendar. The time was not It would be during the school day, though. Okay. And if there was one school event in their calendar, probably Yeah. I just put that on my calendar. That's probably a good one for you to plan. I put that on my calendar right now and when I saw that I got it on the calendar to it. It's May 19th. Yeah, May 19th. Growth assembly 8:30, which means the growth assembly. We can find out and send it. Cass can send it to you. Is that a Wednesday? No, it's a Tuesday. Yes. Um time 11.3 time, date, and location for the next meeting. Uh, it's tenatively set for um May 14th

094at 5:00 PM. Oh, that's the doors opening. 5:30. Yeah. Is everybody set with that date? Anybody having problems with May 14th? Charlene's making faces. What are you doing on the 14th? Well, on the 14th, I have my bonus grandson who's being promoted from 8th grade. Oh, okay. From Mal. All right. On the 15th, my bonus granddaughter is graduating from Mal. And on the 16th, I'll get out. My granddaughter is graduating from River Valley. I'll get out my paper calendar year. You've got you've got a busy three. And then I just saw Fox Creek's graduate promotion is on the 19th. Yep. Mhm. So, but I can make the 14th because Oh, you can make the 14th because his promotion is actually in the morning. Okay. So, I can put my paper calendar away. Yes, you can.

095Got it. Steve morning. So, um I need a motion. Do we need a motion to do this? No, I didn't think so. I do need a motion to adjourn this meeting, though. Can I have a motion to adjourn the meeting? I'll make a motion to adjourn this meeting. All those in Oops. I'll second that motion. All those in favor? I saski. I Fred Rushton. I Charlene Diaz. I Barb Zarsiki. I Sheila Bernett. Done. Thank you all. Thank you. J Heat. Heat.
