001foreign [Music] [Applause] thank you [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] thank you foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] how to use it okay I called to order the workshop for Bullhead City School Board on Thursday March 9th at 5 30 p.m roll call Melinda sabreski here Charlene Diaz here Amanda Ayman here Brad Rushton here we're going to talk first about the recruitment plan we are going to talk about the recruitment retention plan and I'm going to ask Jennifer lot to come up and talk a minute about it and then we have a couple of the folks from the committee here to answer any questions you might have excellent well good evening um we had decided as part
002of our district Improvement plan for this year that we did need something in place for Recruitment and Retention of our employees all employees I will tell you however that in completing our plan it is not a recruitment plan this is really just a retention plan so that is one thing we do need to change is the title because it is actually really just a retention plan for employees but what happened is we put together a committee and we did have classified employees and certified employees we met roughly every six weeks or so um got some feedback from the various schools about what teachers what kept teachers in our district what would what another District could offer that would convince them to leave our districts the various questions that the committee members actually interviewed various members
003of their staff and then we came back and brainstormed ideas through this process the committee did actually ask me to just facilitate because they felt that if they are the ones who wrote the plan it would be more accepted by the employees in our district which is probably true because it's coming from them so you have it in front of you I'm not going to read it to you but I do have Nicole cope and Maggie Morgan here they were on the committee and they'd be happy to answer any questions you might have well I'll say that looking at this it was so awesome to see this put together because we've talked about you know we've talked about recruitment but we also talked about retention many many times up here and and seeing this put
004together and actually come to fruition and have a draft is shows a lot of work that's gone into it and it's really nice to see that it's here now who is on the committee yeah but I mean okay there were there were teachers yes we had teachers we had a counselor and the teachers were both grade level teachers and specialist teachers counselor we had an attendance Clerk and a paraprofessional we tried to get bus drivers we didn't get any response for anyone who wanted to be involved had a couple classified people and teachers did you include any of these the site administrators are named we did not we kept them in the loop kind of on what what was being said but we are what was being said and then we shared the plan with
005them but we didn't they were not on the committee just for clarification on the financial side for certificated certified employees continuing to work for bcsd will receive an additional pay raise for the six years so after the fifth sign the sixth okay I just wanted to make sure that's what it was part of the reason that minister administrates our curriculum committee and then when we realized that we weren't really going to be piloting any new curriculum or looking at anything new for the following school year we turned it into our retention plan so with the teacher appreciation on Section Five who's actually going to be in charge of like the teacher and staff members of the month and those types of things will that be somebody per site or will that then fall on the
006administrators I think we had decided this did you guys want to answer or do you want me to appreciation just to keep it more consistent perfect thank you are things that we already actually started yeah please come up so that it gets in the recording thanks Maggie uh some of the things that we actually put on here are things that we do already just to recognize that those are those things that we've already started to do we just wanted to make sure that we highlighted those as well the teacher staff member of the month would be in the school site the beginning of the year breakfast and end of the Year awards were done by the district level and student growth and better student outcomes were the instructional coach and the administrators at each campus
007what kind of student growth will we be looking at will it just be like pre to post or like Benchmark or is there some others that we're going to do on additionally Dibbles and Galileo but we weren't necessarily looking at who is proficient we're looking at who's making growth and um how are you going who's going to who's going to determining the teacher of the month that's done at the school site so I know a lot of the schools already have that in progress do you is it voted I think I mean I don't want to say that Fox Creek kind of started this but we've been doing something since for the last couple of years we give away two Awards each month uh at PD one is chosen by Mr Osuna and myself we
008talk about it pretty regularly and then the other goes from teacher to teacher so the teacher has Whoever has the award we give it the first month and then that teacher picks another teacher to give it to the next month and then so we we do two a month at Fox Creek so that's how we determine for Desert Valley it's just a little bit different we do classified and certified staff of the month we do it in a Google form our staff votes monthly and then it never really goes away so they accumulate over time and they have to put in words of why they're voting for that person so then I get to read what the person who or the different people who nominate them say about like that they were very helpful or
009whatever and then we award them certificates and something small every month I that I I absolutely love especially those words that come from their peers and you know even at the end of the year if you've got this long list of those that maybe didn't win the award come in second and you share that with them that means so much what's coming up I have Diamondback and sunrise both we do not currently have a teacher of the month program but there is a thanks for being awesome program where the staff nominates other staff for going above and beyond at every PD admin pulls out five to ten of those nominations and rewards them with various types of gift cards awesome well it's kind of nice that it doesn't have to be one size fits all
010yeah you know that the site gets to decide what what works for them well you know and once a month is something you can manage a lot of times it's difficult to do more than once a month I know that we had tried you know every week passing the teacher one or passing passing the the the staff LED one versus the admin one at when at Mojave and and it just kind of fall off it sits there for a little extra longer until someone nudges like hey can you pass it on so once a month I understand because it's it's totally recognizable you know every month that's gonna happen can I see the you know the one of the page Above This thank you and I will say to you that the things that had
011to do with financial Jen was bringing back and discussing with me you know throughout so that um uh you know so that we wouldn't throw a monkey wrench into this plant and I would also say on that one one of the things that has been discussed in meet and confer excuse me over the last few years has been and not just in meet and confer but in the superintendent's advisory committee is when teachers have to cover somebody else's class and for when I first came that was uh that that involved points in the classroom site fund um excuse me in the classroom site fund plan and those kinds of things um I told them that we we couldn't just pay for the one period thing because there's no way the way we were doing it
012before because there was no way to have anything close to Equitable between middle school and Junior High I mean yeah and the elementaries because of a teacher's gone at the elementary either a specialist teacher gets pulled for the whole day or the class gets split up amongst other teachers and so there was no really good Equitable way so I said to them I said to that committee if you all can figure out if we can figure out something that is reasonably Equitable between the elementaries and the upper grades then we'll figure out how to pay it out of M O because it's money we would be paying a substitute anyway so the good news is this committee came up with a plan that is very close to being Equitable certainly acceptably Equitable among all grade
013levels and and as I say we can pay for it because otherwise we'd be paying for a substitute and we only have to do this if we cannot find a substitute so and you know so we can pay for it out of that fund and it and it and it works so I'm really happy that they figured it out well this was something that when I saw that as well because this is something I've been asking for multiple years like yes because at the high school level we do pay and it's a little bit different because they all have a prep and yes it was different at the elementary level and I know that for years and and Corey when he was here he was the same way like how can we do this like
014we constantly just pull from them but we don't say like we don't give anything back with that so when I saw that as well I was like right on like perfect yeah and I know as a junior high you know quite often that was the way with us and stuff uh Carolyn how much is a substitute teacher paid now um one day Subs are paid 110 dollars we we raised that from a hundred because of the minimum wage uh increase in January and then long-term Subs are paid 150 a day and long-term means someone who has been in the same position for 10 consecutive days and if somebody starts as a one-day Sub in that kind of position and ends up in the position long term then then the pay becomes retroactive to the first
015state I will add that I think that um we did say for splitting the class room due to a lack of substitute teacher was splitting among your colleagues your grade level or your content area colleagues so that it wasn't sometimes we might split like a first grade class into the other first grade in some kindergarten classrooms and in that case you'd be splitting in among five or six teachers so they made that clarification and there was also um supplemental pay for a specialist teacher at the elementary who was giving up their prep time to or who was giving who was being moved from say being an art teacher to being like a first grade teacher for the day due to a lack of substitute so I don't think this is the most I don't think
016that's the most popular I was going to say because that's not I didn't I didn't see that anywhere on that on here yeah so that was also I believe 25 for that for that person because it means that they have to give up all the plans that they've had for that day for the various classes they see and then try to learn that that uh less than plan you know all those lesson plans for that day and that's one of the things our specialist teacher on the committee did say was that you know just even if it was just something little just to just to say hey thank you for making that switch because oftentimes they don't know till they walk in that morning that they're being put into another role so yeah okay um
017our plan as we were talking about our um our district Improvement plan for next year is to then go back with a committee and create a recruitment plan so when we realized reviewing this that there really wasn't any recruitment on it we do need to add that piece so that's kind of the plan for next year okay awesome I like it yeah thanks to the committee yeah I think this is really ambitious and but also very exciting and I liked their ideas and it was it was really nice to have it come from you know from teachers themselves one of the things that Maggie and Nicole did not say is that the reason that they kept some of the things that are already in place is because those were things that teachers said oh these
018are already happening and we don't want them to go away so they were cognizant of not throwing out baby with bath water you know to keep things that they already like so I think that's a good good idea too so excellent thank you Desert Valley is going to school Improvement progress okay I'm going to do a thing for us Cassie and Meg and Maggie are here to present that second step in this whole process good evening Madam president members of the board thanks for listening to our presentation this evening um so we have since moved on from our CNA our common needs assessment into the root cause analysis and we do it via the fishbone diagram which means that we're taking a closer look at what is causing the things that we need most across
019of our across Desert Valley specifically um so if you take a look at the diagram that's up on the board that is what the fishbone template looks like you can kind of see it has like a head and a tail in the bones in the middle and basically it allows us to identify what is the root cause for the needs that we have and once we identify what the root cause is we can move forward and identify the action steps timelines things that we're going to need in order to achieve that desired outcome essentially okay go ahead so to start the process we developed uh three teams at our site that um was a collaboration of about I think there was like five or six teachers four to six teachers on each team and then
020each team took an area and worked on one of the diagrams to address the principles on the next slide so each team identified each one of these principles principle 1.9 we so we took the results from the CNA and then narrowed it down to each of these principles so principal 1.9 at Desert Valley was that teachers need training because they lack the competency and confidence to interpret and analyze and use data effectively and then to go with 2.9 students are not engaged in classroom where they take responsibility for their learning through effective instruction and principle 4.6 was that teachers lacked effective training in the standards internalization of lessons and then the creation of Assessments that are aligned to those standards um so a little bit more about the process with that group of teachers we
021have instructional empowerment at Desert Valley as well as all the other schools in the district so each of those subgroups worked on one main fishbone template so it was their job to look closely and come up with these uh different parts of the fishbone that are required so the first part is to identify what the need was you saw those on the previous slide and those were direct results out of the CNA those were the areas that we felt were the most significant need and that CNA process involved a number of people kind of rating and determining what we actually needed to focus on the second part was to brainstorm those possible causes so there are those six areas not every fishbone has six but we look at the main things that lead to the
022need or what could be causing what's basically what's happening on our campus when we look at the third part identifying the root cause when we look at those different parts of the bone we want to know what are the commonalities where do we see the overlaps where do we see Trends and things that we really need to focus on in order to look at how is that causing this to continue to happen and then after that we develop a needs statement which is basically what do we need to do to change the outcome of the need what do we need to do to address it how to kind of interject and change where we're going and then the last part is to create like our desired outcome where we think about the things that we're
023going to be doing to get the outcome that we really want and we look at the different types of practices that will help bring us to the outcome that we're looking for okay um oh I believe in order to drill down to what really is the cause we use the five y's so instructional empowerment like instructed us in our teams to ask why a lot of times so by asking that why we can get down to what is the actual problem and what needs to be fixed to help us figure out the primary need and if you've never had someone ask you why five times in a row it gets frustrating a really great challenge because you're like oh the first one's pretty easy and then the second one you're like okay well I think
024I know why and then by the third or fourth they're like man really why is that happening so um it's a great Challenge and uh some amazing conversations were happening in the rooms that we were in at Desert Valley and I'm sure just across the district in general when we did a gallery walk everybody really kind of Dove deep into the root causes um so I'm just going to share briefly uh our three fishbone templates that are complete for Desert Valley that look at those needs um so in 1.9 it's really focusing on how we use data and data from students effectively are we looking at long-term mid-term short cycle data what are we using it to drive instruction so our desired outcome is that teachers will use a designated system driven by data in
025the decision-making process through three main areas instruction planning and assessment so those are the three three targeted areas that we will when we move forward into the next part creating our action steps we'll look at our systems our tools how we do professional development how we share ownership of data from students to teachers so our kids actually talking about how they did and how they can improve that's a really powerful conversation even in grades K4 so opening that up and practicing is going to be really beneficial to our students and then obviously with the fifth part will be leadership the role that myself that I play Not only as the school principal but my administrative or leadership team plays and how we can trickle out and kind of centralize that message throughout the year um
026for the next fish bone we identified that principle 2.9 which has to do with scaffolding we identified an area at Desert Valley we have about 21 probationary staff members at Desert Valley which means they have three years or less in the district they may have been teaching longer than that but they're still in that like kind of beginning stages so for us we find that our teachers might need different things when it comes to professional development so when we're developing teachers whether it's on a PD day or in a PLC meeting we want to meet their needs at the level they need so they can build their skills effectively so our desired outcome is to look at differentiated support through feedback professional development reflective activities coaching and also mentoring that's uh some of the needs
027that we really needed that we felt like we were missing or the team had come up with so we're going to be looking at questioning collaboration best practice and looking a little bit more about mentoring and how we use our profession National development time appropriately to grow our teachers and the last one um really has to do with the alignment of our curriculum something that came out in the fishbone process with empowerment is that we do have ckla and Eureka but not every single part of every single lesson directly aligns with our state standards to the best of its ability and really the difference between the book and the standards is the teacher and so they have to really know how to like unpack what they're teaching every day and know what the standard is
028and how deep they need to go so we need to invest some time in that because it does take time and we know time is one of those things that teachers don't have a lot of so we want to look at what this can look like over the course of a year how we can invest in the process so we're looking to increase student performance using um better alignment of the curriculum the standards through instruction and assessment okay so our next steps is our leadership team we've actually met with instructional empowerment for an additional two hours since this previous day at Desert Valley so we finished our second meeting today and we talked about taking all of those kind of parts of the fishbone and how we turn those into timelines how we have impact
029data and how we're going to raise achievement over time so that's kind of where we're headed to we're going to look at some evidence-based practices develop our smart goals and then turn those into basically the steps we're going to do next year and then they'll also correlate to how we're going to spend our Title One funds in order to support those goals I think that's it any questions um I attended part of these meetings and I was very impressed with the collaboration that was going on so give everybody a pat on the back for me thank you I also today and sat in several different ones the the thing that I really like to see was the fact that the teachers were being critical of themselves they weren't afraid to accept the responsibility that yes
030we have this problem and yes we need to be doing something about it and I am part of the problem I want to be part of the solution now and it was it was very interesting to see you I appreciated it very much I'm going to follow up with that if I may just die after what Barb said is that one of the most impressive things I saw at Desert Valley was the heart of the teachers who recognized that yeah we need to do things better and that was very very impressive to know that we have individuals like that who care about our kids and are teaching them so thank you very much all of you all the staff and all the teachers it's it's wonderful to see and I'm very impressed thank you for
031the feedback I'll make sure to pass that on all right thank you so much item 1.5 Fox Creek junior high it's School Improvement progress hello good evening right I don't know if I have that communication skills but I'm gonna try my best so um obviously we're here to present on our CNA process and our root cost analysis if you go to the rundown you'll see kind of the way that we structure this is just talking about where we started and where we're going and from from each one of these parts in there so our password included like we mentioned our CNA process trying to figure out uh where we were at you'll see the list of the people that we're involved in that in that process from before in the next slide and that's when
032we you know we had the opportunities this happened after the observations that we have with our instructional empowerment team that came into our school and they did the observations which was great I know they spoke about it at the last board meeting and within that we were able to find our three indicators that we wanted to to work on and that's what we brought over to Desert Valley which was great um at Desert Valley Mr easement set up the the the teams for the for the presentation for for the uh for the date which will help us kind of set up what we're going to do so I'll let him kind of explain the team still here you'll go forward to the next slide um so just to impress upon you how how kind of
033cool this was remember that that was a Friday before a four day weekend or what could have been a four-day weekend for our teachers and these teachers volunteered their their Friday that they had off to come and do this so what I did was uh instructional Obama told us that the principle is not to be part of any single group so I tried to the first names in each list is kind of my leaders of each group Miss Maccabee is our counselor so she took the leadership group which is where I had myself to begin with misagi is our instructional coach and she kind of picked that group she's like that's kind of my job is the instruction and teachers and things like that and then Mr Osuna went with the the conditions group and
034I tried to place the people as best I could into what I thought their strong points were and I'll be honest I I even the instructional empowerment people were like well you really hit the nail on the head on all of those groups those people really knew those particular spots and and did a nice job working on them um you know a lot of like what what Cassie was saying um there was just great conversations great you know there was lots of thinking going on lots of really deep looking within yourself and figuring out what is it that we could do better uh and that's really what this process is all about go ahead and go to the next one uh we have some pictures from that day um we like to do pictures and
035we like to celebrate our people as much as we can up at Fox Creek and I know the other the other admin do too so we just got some pictures this is from the kickoff in the morning before we went out to our groups they were just giving us some information obviously uh Cassie showed you some of the fish bones we have some of those pictures the working documents uh the picture on the right there is I don't even think that was all the sticky notes in that particular room because they weren't sticking to the board very well but that just tells you how many different conversations were had in that room uh I remember when I walked in we looked uh with the instructional power people we were really impressed with how many sticky
036notes were on the board and then we were going to the next room we're like holy cow there's just as many laying on the floor so it was you know there was lots of lots of good conversations going on and I think we really came up with a pretty solid plan um here's another one this is after we've put everything on the fishbone and kind of organized it um so that we can kind of get to what the root cause is and and what our desired outcome is what is what is it that we want to accomplish um obviously we want the best for our students and and we want to get our teachers to be able to present in the best way possible so that our kids can learn uh and and move the
037school forward this is probably one of our favorite Parks here the gallery walk usually when we do this at school sites we kind of just focus on ourselves and this was a great chance to go walk around others and see what other schools kind of their thoughts and their their ideas and what they're doing and this really helped us set up our after the break after the lunch break what do we need to do what what other ideas can we Implement what other things are being going on around the district with us which is what we did after the Break um we kind of started finalizing all those sticky notes started picking them off the ground and then we put them all together in there which I think is an excellent if you want to
038go to that one and just these are basically our our three main um you know our three main indicators and Fishbones that we're going to be working with in there um it breaks them down a little bit more in a second so we can kind of go over each one in particular but after that we kind of finalize we went back into a wrap-up mode and then just kind of debrief for the day which is really great if you go a couple more steps forward it'll be the indicator 1.8 this is one of the indicators that that we chose for for ourselves really our desired outcome is really what we were looking for which is if if we have intentional student schedules because right now our scheduling has been one of the things that our
039teachers have consistently said hey how can we improve our scheduling to make sure that we have right um the right students with maybe the right teachers to making sure that we can they can get this the correct support and things of that nature that are equitably distributed between highly effective teachers then we will Foster learning environments that provide different perspectives with new ways to collaborate and learn new things as well as decrease behavior issues while increasing student engagement and growth again teacher training is will increase the number of effective teachers to students which release the scheduling strain as of right now one of the things that we've been working on a lot is a lot of times the the scheduling comes down to a few people in the office administrators and secretaries and making sure
040we have the right groups one of our kind of desired things to do with this excuse me is to um bring more ice to The Fault like he have the teachers have a say into hey where what is going to work who's who's going to be able to you know support this soon a little bit better where the best groups and combinations and students to go so be more intentional with it rather than randomize is kind of what we were the other indicators are also up there so um indicator 2.6 was another one of our our next one after this which was our desired outcome for that one was teachers would consistently Implement data usage and planning for lessons for their students apply engagement strategies and use Time collaboratively by applying training that will provide
041to them with accountability observations in place to observe classroom Effectiveness this is along the lines of again just making sure that that um that teachers teachers say it and it was great to hear we want professional development that's going to help us and it's individualized and that is you know that it's going to help you know everybody on campus and what's great is you know we we recognize we have these Masters you know teachers at our school we have these amazing teachers that have been there a long time and we just want to find ways to be able to not only support them but also have them show their expertise to our newer teachers that are you know only on the year been there a year or New York teachers are moving in from another
042country and then our final indicator was indicator 2.6 for that one was I I lied 5.1 that one our desired outcome is if we create buy-in across campus by including the factory staff and the creation of Campus White norms and procedures we were consistent consistent implementation of policies and procedures with high expectations for all students across campus so again one of the things that came up again and again we were talking about is making sure every teacher has a high expectation every staff member has a high expectation for all students we feel that if we can bring that across and if we can have a buy-in from all the teachers by creating campus-wide norms and procedures and that teachers are held accountable to that they will be able to um it'll improve our campus and
043will help our students in the end which is really what we want and I think that's what we have for those yeah the rest kind of goes into typical of us Junior High people we tend to just put our nose to the grindstone and get things done so I think we went way farther than what we were supposed to uh and I think next month you're going to have a couple of other schools that come to present the the rest of this so I don't want to steal their Thunder by going into too much more um so our our presentation we just we weren't sure but I think we'll kind of just stop there because I don't want to take the thunder away from the next schools that present okay any questions or things for
044us no thank you it's always a unique position because we're a junior high and not an elementary and we gear more towards a high school so we're we're just different we stick out like a red thumb at the elementary so yeah thank you very much 1.6 policy j i c j student use of digital communication and electronic devices this is up for discussion Madam president and board members it's all red because this is an entirely new policy that I'm presenting to you and it came about because we've had some issues with uh video on the buses and some of it inappropriate and then ending up on social media and we really didn't have a procedure for handling that so when I started investigating I found that there are other school districts in the state that
045have a policy a similar policy and then realized as I was reading those policies that we've had practices in place for a long time relative to um digital devices handheld you know portable devices in our classrooms and in our school sites but we didn't have a policy to back it up and so I thought okay we'll look at these other schools so frankly I mushed together some policies from other places rather than reinvent the wheel and this has been in fact vetted by our attorney relative to following the laws and those things so the idea is just to have a a set of guidelines for how we manage digital devices in our schools and on our buses so but I thought you might want some time to discuss it before we actually got to the
046first reading in it is on the agenda for a first reading tonight anybody got any questions comments um I have a problem you go back up to the very top where it says uh in order to reserve and respect classroom instructions like trying to make devices made only be used in a classroom environment where the teacher gives explicit permission for use I have a problem with electronic devices being used at all in a classroom other than possibly a computer uh to me cell phones and those type of electronic devices should not be allowed in a classroom and should not be turned on for any type of instruction and stuff well let me jump in there um I will tell you that one of the um best uses for a cell phone in the classroom is
047when a teacher puts a a display of notes or whatever on the PowerPoint and that teacher gives them permission to take a picture of it and so you know and and you could say well they should be taking notes yeah but I I will tell you that that PowerPoint only stays up for like two minutes and you can't write it down so I've done it in meetings where they have put something up on a screen and and instead of sitting there writing it all out trying to get it down I just take a picture and then I can transfer it to notes later on so it is handy in that regard and it's good for students to know that there are other means of or uses for a cell phone than just texting Tick Tock
048and whatever else they use so it it is it does become a tool at that point just so my feelings are a little a little bit more towards Miss Diaz's because um working in the high school district and working for for so long they're watching the development of the technology that's come out over the last you know 15 20 years even the last few years um I was always taught that this is a handheld computer use your resources if I don't know what a word is I'm gonna look it up real quick if I have if you're talking about something and I may not know now I'm also talking about maybe maybe we're talking about Middle School and High School levels maybe K4 this isn't something they all have you know maybe a lot of
049them do but maybe they don't all and so we do have those computers or the you know iPads or we have other things that they can use to look them up so I mean is this I this same statement that you kind of brought up like have we the movie talked with your you know your different groups that you have and the administration at the different campuses to find out if that's something that that's what they want well this is this is already a this is a practice we already have in administration and teachers have been involved in that in development of those practices it's just that we never had it formalized this way and so um you know we certainly can we certainly this gives us enough this gives us enough structure but also
050enough wiggle room to to make you know to make some adjustments relative to the circumstances um uh so your example Amanda of looking up a word um well most of the time in our classrooms particularly at the junior high when students come in they Park their phones uh you know there's a garage phone Garage in most of the classrooms at Fox Creek okay so uh so if there were a circumstance like that where a student maybe wanted to look up a word or where they'd ask for permission okay and so that we can kind of control some of that and I totally understand because with behavior and expectations and especially when looking at the principles that they identified and and many of them like Fox Creek identified had to do with expectations right so if
051your expectations are when you walk in the classroom and the first thing they're going to do is they're going to park it in the cubby or they're going to put it in the little hotel or whatever it is that you have like I get that that's the expectations but as long as there's something in there that allows for yes hey I'm doing a poll anywhere I'm doing a survey I'm doing a kahoot and those computers don't work very well to the Wi-Fi but this works great so I can do my con my kahoot from here you know um that's the only thing I just don't want to be too rigid that we don't allow for that autonomy in the classroom that's the only thing that I or at the age each school for that matter
052it I didn't take this policy to the administrative team so I apologize for that but um but I felt like it in this part particularly was reflecting what we already do um and um and it certainly can this is policy we can certainly attach a regulation or something to go with it that might be a little more specific that's how we tend to do things anyway is have a policy that's uh you know that's uh pretty structured and then and then talk about the procedures more specifically in a in a regulation if we need to this one happens to be a little more specific than a lot of policies are but those are those are valid things and and Barb you know I I early on I would have said exactly the same thing that
053you're saying and we recognize that there are times when that's why we have the garage the phone garages in our classrooms is that students were using you know we're just pulling them out and using them and and the teacher had no idea what any student was doing with them and so it can be very distracting on the other hand if there is some specific the activity that the teacher wants this is a good tool for the teacher to be able to use absolutely the and the the reason one thing I've seen is I've been volunteering at Fox Creek from time to time and I've seen earbuds in kids at school and that to me that I have a problem with because then they're not paying attention in the classroom butted and stuff like that so
054you know that's that's one of the things where I'm saying electronic devices also includes those earbuds it does and they should not be doing that unless they have permission from the teacher yeah to do so but this at least now validates what decisions our teachers make relative to that because I was rather startled that we didn't that we didn't already have a policy to back up the practice that we've been doing so um uh you know so this this now puts some teeth into the practices that we've had literally for years years that we've been you know Charlene remembers and it's been a while so yeah and if you think of other things because it is on tonight's agenda but it's a first reading so if you think of other things that you have concerns
055about let me know and we'll uh you know we'll work on those things thank you I really think that we you should take this back to the administrators okay administrators look at it please sure um we'll do the first reading but I think we need some input from the other end too no problem is there any other further discussion on this do I have a motion to adjourn a workshop I make a motion Workshop I'll second that motion Charlene Diaz all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski hi Charlene Diaz I Amanda amen we we have a special between meetings we have a a special presentation by the women's Council and I see that some of them are here would you like to come up ladies and present this is because I know oh yeah Annette
056did you sign in Barbara did you sign in I know the process hmm okay um I think that I want to join in on this yes Carolyn would you like to come down of course I'll always accept a check yeah good evening Madam President Ford staff guest thank you for those of you who don't know we the four of us are part of women's Council here in town and um so we decided to help them with their Vector program and Carolyn could you explain a little bit about investigation one of the things that we're doing particularly at Fox Creek but also at the middle school when we have some students who have been in trouble and then are in the behavioral Resource Center which is essential in a school suspension we wanted some opportunities for
057them to learn some things that it's not just a negative consequence that there is an opportunity to learn some things about change Behavior and Vector has seven to ten minute little class class video things that the students would be doing and then at least at Fox Creek would have to write a little bit to follow up on that so this will help pay for our use of the vector programs for a year you're welcome you know what we we love um giving back to our community and especially our Educators I have three children that I raised here in this area and they're all who are college graduates and my third one not sure what it's going to do but he works the Dutch Bros oh yes yes they're all awesome but anyway I love doing
058this the women's Council we love giving back to the community and we love you Educators support you 120 so thank you for all you do because I could not be a teacher or a pretty girl [Music] it's an honor thank you so much yeah it's wonderful and it's not in the mail I'm going to call the regular meeting to order uh on Thursday March 9th 6 30 p.m roll call Melinda zabroski here Charlene Diaz here Amanda amen here Fred Rushton here Barbara zarzicki here would you guys all stand and say the Pledge with me for the Estates of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all um citizens present please print your name on the attendance sign-in sheet at the entrance we're now

0602.6 adoption of the agenda I need a motion I make a motion we adopt the agenda I'll second that motion Charlie India's all those in favor I'm Melinda sabroski aye Charlene Diaz I Amanda amen hi Fred Rushton hi Barb zerzicki 2.7 last night there were some incredible ones can you is sunrise and Diamondback got tell me a silly story Desert Valley in Desert Valley oh yeah and Desert Valley too this um I think I'm going to be down there to see what that is because that looks really good Fox Creek donation of 1500 check for athletics by Jamie Jensen and Amanda Zink from air control home services in Lake Havasu City thank you for all of this stuff this is great this is great we have a great community item two points eight superintendent's report
061Mrs Stewart Madam president and board members you see all of our usual reports but I also as part of miscellaneous updates would like to share a couple of items with you the kindergarten registration Lance sends out to all kinds of people and it appeared in the AZN news of this week so that's kind of exciting because that's seen all over the state and um uh and then uh we have been go ahead with that one Cass um uh we have been invited to be one of the sites that Ade presents this Workshop in June for Arizona literacy and uh so Jen is working with the folks from the Ade uh so we're likely to have teachers from all along the river to come to this particular Workshop from Ade so we're we're kind of proud
062of that that we've been invited that's awesome Yep very good so those are my miscellaneous updates if you have questions about any of the uh any of the reports I'll try to answer item 2.9 board members updates a note a thank you note I don't know this is appropriate of course it is whatever a thank you note from Desert next door Middle School the board provided Kona Ice thank you very much for coming up with Kona Ice I don't know who did that Cassie um I think from what I heard all the teachers really liked going out and getting their ice cream or they're not ice cream their Kona Ice we appreciate everything that the teachers have done to improve the discipline in the district and basically we wanted to award them some kind of
063a nice item so thank you for the thank you note but thank you for doing your job and doing a good job of it we have our accent agenda do I have a motion well I just want to say on board member updates that um the read Across America Dr Sue's birthday had been happening and um I I know I got an invite I scooted over to Bullhead middle and I was fortunate enough to take my daughter with me and she had such a blast I had a great time reading to him the kids were so respectful they I mean they literally were paying attention and I felt I'm like oh my gosh like you know and but they were they were great my daughter had such a great time in the class she went
064into they asked questions about High School she was fortunate enough to answer those and and um and then just today we shot over to Desert Valley her and I again and got to read to a couple classrooms there for the end of the week and it was it was so much fun we really enjoyed it so thank you for inviting you know inviting us and the board that was that was an interesting thing I did 11 classrooms on Monday I thought it was going to be deadly by the time yeah reading the same book I got it so that I had it memorized yes you know I only did one I even whipped in some science with it we had feathers who we were playing with feathers um I'm sorry Amanda that I skipped you're
065fine I I just wanted to slip that in there though it was awesome we appreciated it was um a consent agenda do I have a motion to approve Madam president eiffred rushed and moved to adopt the consent agenda except for removing item 3.5 please others that would like to be removed we favor if you don't have a second oh you need a second I'll second that motion thank you very much Charlene all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski aye Charlene Diaz all abstain Amanda amen I Fred Rushton hi barbs wait a minute oh Cass is playing with it over here hello testing are we getting audio now okay uh 3.5 is basically the list of um people here in the district and their salaries and their jobs um Madam president if I may yes this
066is uh this is our recommendation for offering contracts and work agreements for contracts for certified employees and work agreements for classified employees for next year but I would like to withdraw the name James Forge Young everybody on here everybody except for Mr Jones is good yes and the salaries that are listed are their current salaries since new salaries have not been approved yet do I have a motion to accept or accept this with the exclusion of Mr fragione Madam president I Fred rushed and do move to offer contracts and work agreements as specified in this document to all the employees that are listed except for Mr James franzio 4G own rather I'm sorry do I have a second I'll second that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sabraski hi Charlene Diaz hi Amanda Ayman
067aye Fred Rushton hi Barbara zarzicki okay okay yeah should we get past this right go ahead I see we have no old business that is unusual that is unusual moving into new business 5.1 staff appreciation and president this is a board board decision board discussion whatever it is you want to do this year for staff appreciation first Friday in May first Friday in May yes Cinco de Mayo who it is let's see who could we hang up in I think we ought to get a bunch of pinatas and put them around the schools and let the teachers you know take the frustrations out there it's been a long year yeah I will I will tell you that as much as our staff teachers and staff appreciated the food trucks last year they did let us
068know that they missed having the opportunity at the end of the year to get back together as a big group and uh you know and socialize and and see the board so just whatever it is you're considering you might want to take that into account as well so in other words you're saying like a big luncheon over at Desert Valley with everybody there and stuff well if that's what yeah they would like they really liked this year when we did the welcome back yeah as a big kind of family reunion right they expressed last spring that they really um you know as much as they appreciated uh the food trucks and the food they missed the opportunity to see their friends and from other schools so maybe we can combine both yeah I have the
069food trucks over at Desert Valley and just have a big assembly over there and stuff so I asked a couple months ago to put this on and then I actually came in a couple weeks ago to talk with Cass and Dr Stewart about making sure that we get this on because if we wait till April then it was oh it's so stressful so um and and we talked about the different things and um and we Charlene and I were on the board two years ago when we did the big one at the field house and the tables were out and it was it was a hustle they had it was lots of talk lots of noise they enjoyed being together I know last year we tried to do something different and just you know place
070the food trucks at the different sites which was really cool because we as a board member went and took different sites and and did giveaways and things but I even did kind of miss seeing teachers that I know like that my kids had and you know and things and and so I understand that camaraderie at the end of the year and coming together so um could find a place to put it all together and like you said bring in the food trucks to that location and maybe everybody gets a ticket to a food truck and they just pick their one or something I don't know and then go and sit down together whatever you decide and well you have some of our ideas is that the direction you want to go yeah yes the vast
071majority it's it's a it's it's a well-attended fun atmosphere that um at least I find it to be well attended probably there's probably 250 of our employees so a Desert Valley could accommodate them is that the direction I I like that I like that yeah I like that idea I think that's a good we'll get casts on it okay okay casking on the food trucks there's a Food Truck Frenzy on April 15th so you can always go over and get business cards from all the food trucks and stuff look listen can we have a sample yeah okay thank you good idea of item 5.2 asva custom on-site trainings we put this on or I put this on early after we got back from the First new school board members meeting I thought that maybe we
072needed we needed as a board to come together and actually learn to work together so Carolyn kind of or Dr Stewart basically came up with this idea or came up with this page um does anybody see anything on here that they would that just really attracts them right now I know we're going to use a different superintendent evaluation so we might want to learn that maybe we need to be a self-evaluating too so maybe we need to go down there to get some evaluation too this is a self-evaluation that we do anyway yeah yeah but are we and you wouldn't be going they'd be coming here this whole idea is that they're coming here to you for this training so you don't have to go anywhere anything strike your fancy I would really like to
073see Dr Stewart that we do some evaluation training some superintendent and board training if we're possible um yeah if that's suitable for everybody yes that's fine we'll get cash on it [Laughter] yeah and another one item 5.3 policy j i c j student use of digital communication and electronic devices this is the first reading it's just up for discussion we kind of looked at it earlier and uh in the workshop I I was really having some problems with the confiscation part down here because it seems like we um we spend a lot of time doing the same things over and over you know first of all we confiscate the phone in the classroom and then we give it back to the kid and then we confiscate it and we take it to the office now
074we give it back to the kid and then we've got take confiscate the phone again and the parent has to come in and get it and so we did we did change I will tell you that last year we changed it from uh that the parent must come in and and maybe it was the year before I can't remember exactly so you notice that uh it does say that the parent would require to be required to pick it up but in certain circumstances if the student is a latchkey kid and the parent request you know does respond to the administrator and say my child is a latchkey kid and I need my child to have a phone when he or she gets home then we do we do give it to the student you know
075to take home because we don't want the student to be in a circumstance to be at home and not have a way to communicate so there's a little there's a little wiggle room in there but other than that you're right we are you know we're making a point and I'd assume at some point there's you know Behavior contract there's meetings with the parents and well it does say that there's some suspension that's a possibility well when I'm talking about like the confiscation one two and three like you've made contact home you know so there is forewarning of what's Happening Melinda did you have um uh you know would were you wanting it not to be confiscated or did you want to shortened process it just seems like it's the same process that we've had since
076I have been in the classroom it's one of those things that um I'm just wondering if there's something else that could be added that would would help teachers in the classroom I understand what they what Amanda and Charlie was saying and I had not thought of those two items and that's that's good but the thing is um even out at the college they're very disruptive in the classroom I mean I've got students who are supposed to be going to be nurses who are sitting there texting and all that stuff you know so um I just can see it being very disruptive in the classroom if I may um ask Mr Eastman and Mr Osuna if if having the I call them the cell phone garages but whatever you might call them if that has helped
077has reduced some of the need to compensate phones oh that would be a good idea um so the kids have the option to put it in the box or to put it in their backpack in the back of the room our role basically is it can't be on their person in the classroom some teachers are very good about enforcing that some teachers are not um but we do the one thing I will say that we could add to this as I hear you talking that that we do is once it comes to the office and the parent has to come pick it up so like the third time then for a period of time and I'm not sure exactly how long mistrosuma does it for but that person is on a technology hold in the
078office so they have to come in the morning drop their cell phone in the office drop their airpods in the office and we keep it for a period of time uh they get it back at the end of the day but they're not carrying it with them through the day at school because they've gotten caught three times so that's something that we do some deterrent um a little bit of a deterrent and our boxes do have charging ability in them um I'll take a little bit of credit I made the boxes over the cover somehow I figured that so they all have the ability to charge they plug into the wall so some of the kids park them there just so they can charge them but that means they're not using them while in class
079so it's kind of a good thing for us so we have seen a little bit of a decline with it um at the beginning of the year it worked really really well but as teachers got lazy then the kids became a little more aggressive with not putting things away um so it's that's part of our push with our CNA to make sure that everybody's holding the same high standards all year long expectations absolutely you know that's that's one thing we recognized as our teachers get a little bit lazy and then the kids obviously will take advantage of that but but the boxes do help a little bit okay any questions thank you thank you very much I will tell you my favorite part of this whole thing is that the um that the violation includes
080the SIM card so they've gotten good at making sure that they pop out their SIM card before they hand over their phone I take it I I can tell you that I've seen that happen oh yeah here you can have my phone because then they could just borrow their friends phone pop in their SIM card and use it or if it's something like an F where you're searching for the electronic devices because let's say it's used to bully threat video records something shouldn't have happened while you pop out that SIM card and you no longer have access to that stuff so the fact that it has to stay in there and they give up their privacy expectation their expectation of privacy for that information that's big gonna stay one step ahead yeah and you just
081schooled me on this because these are these are words that I had borrowed from the other District's policies because I hadn't even thought about those things so um okay all right okay any other discussion yeah I'm talking about that item 5.4 agreement with the Arizona Department of Homeland Security regarding cyber security Madam president and board members this agreement as it states is with the Department of Homeland Security Arizona's Department of Homeland Security Cass if you want to get it up nobody's going to read this because it's you know it's like all the fine language fine print but what here's what I will tell you about these two documents our technology department has been working with adhs relative to this partly because the Arizona risk retention trust who are our insurers our liability insurers have stepped
082up the requirements for school districts to for cyber security because they are our insurers so if we get hacked uh if our data employee data or our student data gets lifted they're the ones who are going to end up paying for us to deal with those situations so there are two benefits to having this agreement because adhs has the ability to monitor not I'll use myself as an example not necessarily what exactly I'm doing on my computer at any given time but has the ability to know to notice if some malware pops up if some ransomware pops up those kinds of things and they're a lot more likely to see it before James Wood in our tech department so they're not seeing details of what I'm doing but they're seeing the kinds of things I'm
083doing and they have built into their system this alert so that they can immediately contact us to shut that down so as a result we will of having this agreement and having this service available to us the service itself is free what it's doing then is it will save us thousands of dollars in fees to the trust that they would charge us for the insurance for if we had malware or ransomware so uh probably I'm I'm guessing in the probably in the range of ten thousand dollars it might save us per year more importantly if if the system and it because it's been proven to work keeps us from being hacked uh particularly Personnel data or student data it could save us Millions right now excuse me James tells me right now the rate to
084repair the damage from uh from having a Cyber attack is five dollars per record okay so and we have thousands of Records so uh this is a pretty good deal free saves US money up front and saves US money on the back end so uh needless to say I recommend that we sign these agreements okay any discussion then I need a motion to approve the agreement and the Arizona Department of Homeland Security regarding cyber security I make a motion we approve the agreement for with the state of Arizona Department of Homeland Security for the cyber security is there a second I'll cycle that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sobrowski aye Charlene Diaz aye Amanda Ayman aye Fred Rushton aye Barbara bazarzicki item 5.5 retroactive approval for preschools at Diamondback as of 12 10
0852 2013. and sunrise as of 9 23 2015. we never got we've been allowing or doing something illegal no I don't think we've been doing anything illegal but it wasn't these were never documented in the approval of these two preschools was never documented in governing board minutes oh okay so the and I will tell you Cass has spent many hours in that closet going through paper records from before and and probably audio also but before we had board docs and before we were doing YouTube to find the find when the board decided to approve these programs and the best she could find was in lists of new hires so here's a teacher who was hired to teach the preschool at Diamondback here was a teacher who was hired to teach the preschool at Sunrise and
086so that's how she got the dates the problem right now is we're not we're not being able to count those students in our ADM and on our records for our grants that we that those are you know those are operating because we cannot could not provide the dates that the that the board approved those programs so um when we sent them the information we had they said you need to give us proof that your board has approved these programs I need a motion to approve these two programs I moved to retroactive approval for preschools for Diamondback as of 10 to 2013 and sunrise as of 9 23 2015. I'll suck at that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sabroski aye Charlene Diaz I am into Amon hi Fred Rushton hi Barb zarzicki thank you
087and I'm sure that Jen thanks you because this has been and Cass does because she doesn't really like spending time item 5.6 approved bids for I Esser 3 flooring replacement project Madam president and board members one of the big projects that has been part of our sr3 plan for over two years now has been to replace all of the carpet in our schools in the areas that are used by students many thousands of square feet and um so we put out bid requests for this we had four four responses and um and we had decided that we would bid each each School site separately because of course time is a ticking on use of essermani and we felt that there was a possibility that low bids would be different for each site and that way
088we could have some things going on simultaneously so you can see here that a company called Kia out of Las Vegas had the low bid for four of the sites a local company Tri-State facilities had the low bid for one site and a con one of the one of the co-op companies out of Phoenix had the low bed for for Coyote Canyon and the total for these six sites is 934 392.11 I will tell you that the bids the low was the low you see here of 109 000 and but the high for the various sites were on the bids were as high as three hundred and thirty one thousand for one site so we think we got pretty good pretty good numbers here and work based on your approval of this tonight work will
089start at Bullhead City Middle School tomorrow foreign and what this involves is ripping out all of the carpet in classrooms and in student areas and uh sanding and and buffing and sealing the concrete and just working just going with the concrete so how long will it take him to do the middle school next door well they're going the idea because we have of course have to move everything out of any room that they're doing so we've said to them we don't want to move furniture twice so once things are moved out and there'll be our people moving the furniture out once the furniture is moved out then that room needs to be done and Furniture moved back in so they're starting with the 600 building they really think that building I think has 12 classrooms
090and I saw it she's gone now yeah I think that room that building has 12 rooms we're not going to do the computer room right away but I think they probably if they start tomorrow they can probably get seven to nine rooms done each room is about a thousand square feet and this company Kia Kia Kya says that they can do one room completely at least one room a day so I just keep thinking how disruptive that is going to be for the classrooms well it's spring break so that's why we're doing it now and then the next work would not happen at any of the sites until June okay that's what yeah we're not going to disrupt especially with testing coming up and that kind of thing but that's also why we're saying we
091don't want to move furniture twice so once we move the furniture out you have to finish that room so we can get furniture back in for classes to start so um you know and we would do that at any of our sites Dr shirtwa this Kya Corporation is is working at Bullhead City Middle School are the other two companies going to be working at the other sites not at this time because this is we just opened the bids on Monday okay so a little short notice for them to get their Crews together for for next week okay so my only question is is you know of the teachers prepped and ready if if this is approved that the things in their classroom are they going to take pictures and just make sure things are placed
092because I can only imagine this just you want to talk about disruption it's coming back in Monday morning on the you know the coming back from spring break in your classroom is right and then back in there but in a big disarray Mark flabbergasted uh Mark uh Scott our facilities director and and our Project Director met with Cynthia today um so that so that those folks it's very short notice and we know that but at least they could you know they could get their things uh moved and and you know their personal things and moved and and so things could be so things could be okay and um and let's face it it's a heck of a lot easier to do that at a middle school level than it would be say at preschool because
093the schools have about oh 10 times as much stuff correct as a middle school classroom would have so um so uh yeah so this way folks will have you know we'll have an opportunity and there may be some work done on some you know on some Friday Saturday Sundays there might be a couple of classrooms done at various places by any of these companies on a uh Friday Saturday Sunday weekend you know a couple of rooms could get done but we would give the teachers notice are they going to stain the concrete no we we had talked about that we really wanted that but that would have cost us probably another two hundred thousand dollars wow and yeah and right now um the 934 000 is pretty dang close to what Jen and I guessed
094when we when she wrote the grant two years ago so uh we were kind of police that we got fairly close and because of the expensive things you know in two years and when we wrote the grant originally when she put it in the first grant our idea was to replace with tile I can't imagine what this price would have been if we if we were putting tile back in it would have been significantly higher than this and and probably we would have only gotten about half done and I will tell you carpet in our classrooms in our district is in really really bad shape yeah um now are they going to put some type of finish on the concrete so if it gets wet they're not kids aren't going to go sliding across no
095it's a it's a non- it's a it's a not a slick finish okay I don't know it's kind of we don't want a classroom are in a lab and all of a sudden you're like yeah no skating rinks okay and and we do know that one of the things that's going to happen particularly in elementary schools where you know we frequently have kids sitting on the floor as we will be buying some you know some carpet pieces you know sometimes decorative carpet things um also to help with the sound attenuation but uh but the thing is those first of all they're going to be much easier to keep clean or clean you know you can take them outside and you can shampoo them in there or if they get Grody replace them yeah and as
096opposed to this and so this way we're not looking at replacing anything in 10 years or 15 years or you know this is a done deal well Mike my next question was sound yeah so we're we're yeah we're we're aware okay well that won't minimize the things that the custodians have to do over the summer because oh yeah they won't have to shampoo and whatever those and you know repair and all those carpets so yeah so I'd appreciate your approval for uh for all of these bids and we can start work tomorrow do I have a motion to approve I make a motion we approve the removal of all the carpeting from the classrooms at the schools and finish the concrete do I have a second I will second that motion Fred Rushton all those
097in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski hi Charlene Diaz hi Amanda amen hi Fred Rushton hi Barb zarzicki items 5.7 resolution authorizing the district employee neighborhood project to be a job order contract Madam president and board you're probably getting really tired of me bringing you alternatives for this but probably no more tired than I am to be bringing them because we just haven't made any Headway with any of our other things so this brings us to this Pro process which allows us to contract with uh essentially a development company and in this case it would be one of the companies on the state contract one GPA contract and a job order contract then in this case would be specifically to do the den project but uh then if we had other items still left on our sr3
098plans that needed to be done we would not have to go back out for bids we would not have to go through some of these processes again to get that to get that work done and this the recommendation as you can see came from our attorney and and the resolution also was the wording that he had so this is to replace the design build that we had talked about in October and and the really good news is we have at least two developers who are interested in this project and this is the first time we've had that level of of Interest so I'm cautiously optimistic about moving forward as soon as you approve this what's our timeline are we still we have to be done by September 30th of 24. we must whatever is done
099by then 2024 must be done and both of these companies that I've that I've talked to on the phone uh in fact I was I was ready to move ahead and and bring you a recommendation of one of the companies and then realized that I had forgotten to do these documents so uh that's where we are with this but both of these companies know the timeline and they both know that what we're looking for is uh how how much can we get done for the money that we have because that will be the determining factor of which of the companies we would would choose how much can you do for this amount of money and be done by September 30th of 2024. so these companies would be doing not only the buildings but all the
100infrastructures as well all of the infrastructure and and we estimate roughly estimate that given given the nature of our Pro or our property and just the general General way of doing infrastructure because that means you know leveling the dirt doing all that uh putting in putting in sewer putting in electricity putting in water putting in the the street and the gutters probably is two million because we want that completed for the whole five acres um so we don't have to come back and do any infrastructure so we want that all done so then that leaves roughly a million three how many houses can I get for a million three on this property so but it means then that as we moved along any any uh extra money that we have from the rents and we're
101not we've all talked about this we don't want those to be exorbitant the idea is this is Affordable um and uh but that that as that collects then we build another house um you know so it will be designed for roughly 20 houses and a clubhouse okay and then I would also mention to you that we still have the Community Committee that wants to partner with us and and and uh help us find some Partners in the community for things such as Landscaping so if there's a community partner that wants to work with us and say Hey you know we we want to be part of this community project we will produce we will provide X percentage of the Landscaping then that's less of the 3.3 million that we have to spend on landscaping or
102uh whatever you know that if we can have some Partners along the way that benefits us but it also benefits the community okay do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we approve the resolution authorizing the district employee neighborhood project to be a job order contract is there a second I will second that Fred Rushton all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski aye Charlene Diaz hi Amanda Eamon aye Fred Rushton hi Barb zarzicki item 5.8 resolution to set the maximum dollar amount for a job order contract Madam president we've talked about the den project being 3.3 million and we have some other projects that might fall into this currently board policy restricts that the board that the board can only offer job job order contracts up to a million dollars the
103law allows that that the board can increase that amount up to 5 million I'm recommending that we said that we that you increase it to 4 million for us to continue working with whichever company that we pick so that if the den project is done and it's done well and we would like to have them do some of these other projects that we could proceed with those without having to go through all of that bidding process discussion do I have a motion to approve [Music] I've read Rushton moved to approve this resolution to establish a maximum dollar amount of four million dollars for the den project and other associated job order contract items is there a second for how much did you say you said four four million okay hi Barbers those are zicky second
104all those in favor I'm Melinda sabroski I'm Charlene Diaz I'm Edam hi Fred Rushton hi beversarzicki item 5.9 award insurance contracts for school year 2023-2024. Madam president and board members our original intent with the superintendent's employee advisory committee was that we would investigate some alternatives for our insurance this year we had a Community member who was an advisor and unfortunately he passed away unexpectedly and time got away from me so I asked and both of the meet and confer committees who happen to be the same folks as the superintendent's advisory committee agreed to have us continue the current contracts for one more year and explore any alternatives we might want to consider for a year from now so what you see is uh just after the last meet and confirm meeting I spoke with our
105representative from Kairos and uh the annual premiums based on our insurance activity this past year have increased by four percent she told me that the conversation she had with me for our district was the happiest conversation she'd had that day because we had the lowest increase in uh in premiums for this coming year at four percent which is a one percent less than the increase was for the current year so we've done pretty well with our insurance this year and with our medical there have been some issues we talked with her regularly and Kairos attempts to deal with those so she has a couple of new things that she's working on to improve and correct for us emeritas who has our contract for vision and dental and Unum that has our contracts for life insurance
106and disability both of those contracts were written last year for two years and so there's no increase in those so this is from a financial standpoint this is this is kind of exciting news because we're talking about only about ninety eight thousand dollars in increase in Insurance costs for fiscal year 24. very good which is yeah pretty amazing considering all things do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we approve or award insurance contracts for school year to 2023-24 as recommended favor I'm Melinda sabrowski aye Charlene Diaz abstain Amanda amen I Fred Rushton hi Barb zarzicki items 510 revision of contract for certified teachers Madam president and board members as we've been very familiar this year there is a clause in the current contract that has to do with liquidation damages
107for resignation or breaking a contract in the middle of the year I had a con I had a conversation this week with the attorney and uh [Music] about changing that um and so you can see the wording that he is recommending that we change so the the current wording and the contract is 15 of the annual salary as a liquidation and um uh so I'm recommending and and this dollar amount was what I asked him to to build his wording around uh was fifteen hundred dollars uh for and not a percentage so uh you can see the wording that uh that he has provided and I recommend that we change our contracts to uh reflect this any discussion do I have a motion to accept or to approve this please I'll make a motion that
108we change our contracts Uh current contract wording for um or reviser contracts for certified teachers as presented is there a second I second that um I'm Melinda sabroski hi Charlene Diaz I'm staying Amanda Ayman hi Fred Rushton hi Barbara zarzicki item five one five eleven addendums for district committees leadership positions Club sponsorships and coaching for school year 2023 2024 Madam president and board members I decided since we were going to be talking about contracts and salaries and all of those things to present this early and at the same time so that the addendums might go out as as people prepare to do these things the changes in these I did increase recommend increasing the the coaching addendums by a little bit and then there are two additions in the meet and confer committee I put
109back in the representative for facilities that was a position that had not existed in meet and confer for a number of years because we contracted that out and then um uh the tat team leader the tat teams at our sites these are teacher assistant teams and so anytime we have a student who is struggling struggling academically struggling behaviorally the teachers usually someone recommends that there be a committee to work on plans to help improve the situation for that student so each site has a chairperson or a leader for that team it takes many many hours so currently that is in the classroom site fund plan and the teacher gets points for doing that but this is such an overwhelming role that someone suggested to me and I thought it was a great idea that we
110make this one of our one of our leader positions in each of our sites so that is the other change in that list of of leader positions any discussion I need a motion to approve I make a motion we approve the addendums for district committee leadership positions Club sponsorships and coaching for the school year 2023-24 I'll second that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski hi Charlene Diaz abstain Amanda amen hi Fred Rushton hi Barbara zarzicki item five 12 authorized contract stipends for special education teachers Madam president and board members if you notice this is one of the items in their retention plan that you approved earlier and um and you can see here the document that that would be used so that it's not an automatic teachers have to do you know these
111particular jobs they have to anyway but the thing is this is a recognition of the many hours that it takes to do a lot of the paperwork and then the revisions after the state department has looked at the documents and said uh you don't have this right so I recommend approval of this stipend for special ed teachers Madam president if there's no discussion I move to approve this stipend for the special education teachers is there a second I'll second that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski hi Charlene Diaz hi Amanda amen hi Fred Rushton hi Barbara zarzicki item 5.13 Recruitment and Retention plan for school year 2023-2024. this is what we saw earlier right it is but you also uh Jen brought you the the updated version so um the other Reverb I
112think and Cass is the feedback right now we've already had a discussion on this but are there any further thoughts nope I like it okay do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we approve the recruitment or retention plan for school year 2023-24 is there a second I second it all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski foreign item 514 absorption of teaching positions from Esser 3 into maintenance and operation budget uh Madam president and board members as you recall we've had a 16 17 16 or 17 teacher positions paid through sr3 for last year and this year those were established to create reduced class sizes to help us [Music] restore learning opportunities for our students from the from the pandemic years um that Grant as as we've stated ends in September
113of 24 but we need to start phasing out of that and uh so 13 of those positions I'm proposing that we move 13 back into mno uh we've had unfortunately also a drop in enrollment this year by about 100 students don't know the reason for that and we have a number of unfilled positions so in terms of budgetary considerations moving those 13 positions back into mno does not create a problem for us and we'll have some positions that will simply go away but they will be handled via a attrition or they are positions that currently are not filled so we're not talking about riffing anybody we don't want anybody to think that their jobs are at risk because they're not this would just be that we are absorbing the cost of these 13 positions in
114our mno budget okay discussion do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that emotion that we approve the absorption of teaching positions from sr3 into the maintenance and operation budget is there a second I will second that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski aye Charlene Diaz hi Fred Rushton abstain Amanda amen sorry hi Barbara ziki I love it em 515 possible absorption of counseling positions from great various grants into the maintenance and operation budget Madam president and board members currently we are in year three excuse me year three of the safety grant that pays for the school resource officer at Fox Creek and four of our five um counselors and then we have other grants that pay for the the fifth counselor that we have um superintendent horn has excuse
115me has indicated both sides of this he's indicated in some conversations that counselors will not be cover will not be considered for schools in the safety Grant unless there is an SRO on the campus and then he has also said that it will not apply to those districts that are reapplying for the grant which is our case so it's still a bit confusing and um uh our folks recognize that having counselors in each of our schools these past two years for the first time in over 30 years has been a real benefit for our students and our staff and so our leadership team recommended and I certainly support the idea that if and by the way Jen has filed those uh has has filed an application for renewal of our safety Grant um but in
116case that doesn't happen in case it's denied because we do not have an SRO in each of our schools our leadership team recommends that we make sure that we still have counselors so two two other pieces of information one is there is not a police department or Sheriff's Department in the state that has enough Personnel to put an SRO in uh in every school even if we had the funding to do so there are not enough people to do so and probably not enough retired officers and folks who could who could qualify for those kinds of positions they're just simply are not enough folks number one number two I don't know that any of us think we would need a full-time SRO in our elementary schools is that a requirement for the grant that they're
117full time at each school yes that was a question and yes currently but that's part of what's confusing Amanda is is that in some occasions superintendent horn has said there must be the SRO to be considered you know in in the site to be considered for the counselor or in some districts have chosen to have social workers with that safety grant funding so on the one hand he says that this but then in other conversations and other times he said but it doesn't apply to those re you know applying for a renewal of the grant so it's confusing and where you know nobody's getting a straight answer and so we're just we're just trying to we're trying to play all the angles to make sure we still have uh still have these folks um uh
118and uh and financially with our budget we can afford to do this I'd prefer that was paid for out of the safety Grant but we can't afford to do this and um so that that's one reason and having run the the class size numbers and those kinds of things because the principal said even if it means increasing our class sizes a bit this is too valuable this is too valuable for us I've only had to recommend that we increase class sizes by one student um so this this you know even us investing in this is is in the best interest of our kids and it's sustainable and it is sustainable there we go do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we um approve the absorption of counseling positions from various
119grants into the maintenance and operation budget is there a second I'll second that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sobrowski aye Charlene Diaz I am and amen I Fred Rushton hi Barbara zarzicki item 5 16 edition of professional coaching positions student achievement coach Madam president and board members when you heard the presentations earlier from the two schools both of them are have included in their three big issues making sure that we have appropriate in a training for our teachers um uh and we have we have awesome coaches who work with our teachers but as we were working uh Mrs Lott and and uh Miss Hall and I at the district level on the district plan one of the things that we recognized is that we don't have a coach who really knows uh uh
120who really has background and skills in helping our teachers know how to uh maximize instruction for special education students El students and uh so um not only could would this position help with the special ed teachers and the El teachers but General Ed teachers because General Ed teachers say to me I would I would love to be able to differentiate effectively for more effectively for my sped students and my El students and and my gifted students if I knew how and uh and this would be something that Miss Hall would be outstanding at doing but as special ed director and the person who's running the Life Academy she doesn't have time so we recognize that this this is this is something that would be very helpful for all of our teachers throughout the district so
121it's one coaching position that would cover the whole District in terms of assisting our teachers in learning additional and more effective ways of differentiating for some of our special populations that's a good idea any discussion do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we um add a professional Coach position for student achievement or student achievement coach is there a second I'll second that all those in favor I'm Melinda zabroski hi Charlene Diaz I am and amen I Fred Rushton hi Barbara zarzicky item 517 proposed salary or proposed school year 2023 2024 salary schedules for classified staff uh Cass if you would put up the placement schedule first Madam president and governing board members I'm recommending that this be the placement schedule for uh the next school year column five is highlighted
122because this is the proposed salaries for bus drivers and this has moved this column it was column four and it has been for several years column four and I'm recommending that we move it up to column five in an effort to attract bus drivers and those folks the 14.25 which is in Lane one cell one row one step one will be the minimum wage in January so rather than start with a salary schedule now and then have to adjust it in January I'm proposing that we start the year with the minimum wage the salary schedule built on the minimum wage that is a 40 Cent increase from the current base this year's current base and um and then the three the 30 Cent step steps occur uh throughout this so this would apply to anyone
123who currently is uh has worked in the district five years or less or who will be new to The District in uh in the new school year Cass if you will show the other one thank you this would be the longevity schedule which would have at step six and Step 11 of that additional salary bump that was recommended in the retention plan and right now these two steps are the ones that we can afford my plan would be that for fiscal year 25 that we add the the the additional bump at 16 for 16 year and then the following year add the one for 21. um if the budget of course at that time if the budget will sustain that but right now these are the two bumps that we can afford in our new
124budget and um and so anyone who has who is in uh for next year is on line six uh would get the double bump anyone who is on Step 11 would or above would get uh would get the double bump so all of the folks who are who have been with the district 11 or more years will get that double bump they will be on the salary schedule is that sufficiently confusing like to where the placements are so I just had a quick question with like the placements so in on the column on the right of the highlighted column you have general maintenance worker two and then the next column you have general maintenance work are one is to like lower than one or okay that was the only thing that had me confused because
125yeah normally you would think entry level one and then as you advance you'd be two yes so I'm like there's got to be a reason there the salary are the job descriptions that you all looked at last month uh I had the their higher expectations for experience and uh for the general maintenance worker one uh than for the general worker me okay that's right because I'm looking like technology specialist one and then technology specialist too so I'm like oh you're right am I just playing like and no it's on me oh okay it's just a link well and like I said it could have been that way but I just didn't know if no you're right so those should be reversed the technology ones or well we could yeah one or the other we'll change
126one or the other that's the only thing that had me confused was that you know we'll fix it we'll fix it do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we approve the proposed school year salary schedule for classified staff I'll second that all those in favor I'm Melinda sabroski hi Charlene Diaz I'm and Eamon aye Fred Rushton hi Barbara zerzicki I am 5 18 proposed school year 2023 2024 salary schedules for certified teachers Librarians interns and speech therapists so this is structured the same way so this is the placement schedule for teachers I'm recommending a 500 increase in the base so BA Plus ba year one would be thirty nine thousand recently you approved for the current year a an increase of five dollar a 500 increase in base to 38.5
127so this would increase another 500 for next year and the steps so anyone who has been in the district five or fewer years or who's new to the district would be placed based on this salary schedule and then I would also note that excuse me that as of the current year we removed from the salary base from the salary schedule the fifteen hundred dollars paid to teachers from the classroom site fund so for example a teacher who is uh right out of college just has a bachelor's degree is starting their teaching their base salary would be 39 000 plus fifteen hundred dollars from classroom site fund essentially making that base uh forty thousand five hundred there's no more there's no way to make the base um forty thousand I had hoped to have I had
128hoped to propose to you all of 39.5 but absorbing the teachers of the sr3 teachers and the possibility of absorbing the counselors meant that I could not do that there is a possibility that we could reconsider another 500 on this base if the grants came through for the counselors I could certainly look at that again but right now I can't I can't sustain that but I will tell you that my target was if you recall uh when the legislature completed the budget last June uh and we calculated our budget well yeah we calculated our budget we had 2 million in new dollars and uh and then I had about a million four in rollover from the old budget my plan with this was to uh it went I held all of that I held the
1292 million and I held the rollover money in case AEL was not waived so that I didn't have to go back so we didn't have to shut down school so we didn't have to furlough people so we didn't have to make cuts and so we can roll those we can roll right now it's about 3.3 million we can roll over into our new budget my thought process all along was to commit that to those two million new dollars to salaries and benefits and uh and so this proposal and the other things that you are approving and keep in mind anytime any any salary increases also increase the benefits and so when you look at any pick a set pick a sell on this on this chart and um and then calculate 22 percent 22 percent
130would be the benefits and then add 13 000 for the insurance and then you so you see what those dollars then uh add up to the the 2 million um the other thing is I wanted to be sure that we had the funding to do the double bump so if Cass if you would show the other the longevity chart 48 percent of our current teaching staff is going to get at least one bump and 25 percent are getting two okay so uh and that's calculated into this so you know I wanted to make sure that we could carry through those recommendations from uh from the retention committee and that I could comfortably say to you we have the money for this and then still have some money to roll over for unexpected things for next
131year and of course we will have uh when the when the legislature eventually does budget we will have some new money as well but I will need to set all of that aside again in anticipation of AEL uh you know for next year because the soonest that AEL can be addressed uh since it since it is part of the Constitution the soonest it can be addressed is in November of 24. so that's a question for you yes um and I actually I thought about this during when we had the classified up there but this is for bcsd employees who have been with the district for district going sick so yes this looks like you have six years of experience but this is not going to happen so if you have a brand new maintenance worker
132who comes in year one of experience although they're in our bus driver who's in the highlighted column just because I've been driving for Clark County School District for five years they've been with us for one year so they're going to be on the place yeah I just want to make sure that even though this looks like when we hire people who are we have been with us this is to this is you know it's kind of like um it's it's kind of like retention earlier that you know sometimes it isn't the amount of money it's the fact that you're recognizing thank you for the people's effort efforts and and in this case their loyalty that's exactly with the district so um uh yeah so that's why you have the longevity one and you have the
133placement perfect now I I noticed there's no bump for the 16 year I can't I can't fund that right now just like I can't specify any of our long time teachers that have been here they're getting the two bumps already yeah but yeah we can't afford it right now yeah I'd love to do that I would love to do that but I I can't in good conscience uh recommend that when I can't fund it and can't sustain it I'm just gonna go back and say like for years when I've been on this board talking about these retention things and talking about and I call them loyalty bonuses which is odd to say but I mean I talked about it at the high school level even like we need this for to keep our classified and
134keep our certified and it's it's it's nice to see that it was in the employee that came from the the retention group you know and it's it's a nice way to say thank you for your years of loyalty service I mean you guys spent how many years in this District it would have been super awesome to get that yeah thank you you know well never mind the seven years that there were no raises yeah right we had seven yeah oh yeah not even a 500 step but I mean the four of you there was not even a step race we had seven years there were a couple years there that I lost money because the insurance rate was so it went up yes and but there were no reasons Kudos good work okay um any
135further discussion do I have a motion to approve I'll make a motion that we approve the proposed um salary schedule for 2023 for the certified teachers Librarians interns speech therapists is there a second I second it all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrowski hi Charlene Diaz if Stan Amanda Eamon item 519 proposed salary or proposed school year 2023-24 salary schedules for certified specialists Madam president and board members excuse me in one way this uh this proposal is simplified in another way it's a little more complex than it's been so uh in the past we've had a column for elementary assistant principals Elementary principals the middle school and Junior High Assistant principals and the middle school and Junior High principals um and uh and I will tell you having been a principal at all levels um
136K-12 that the assistant principals at the elementary schools and the element and the assistant principals at the middle school and the junior high their tasks are different their jobs are equally difficult same for the principals truth be known I will tell you that the the administrator the site level administrator who probably deserves the highest salary is a high school assistant principal been there done that six days a week principles don't I don't know any high school principals who do six days a week so I you know and we're not dealing with high school but I will tell you that everybody else the work is different but it's every bit as complicated complex and serious so I'm recommending that we have one column in this case column B for assistant principals in our district and the
137certified school psychologist and the coordinator anybody who's a coordinator and then we have one column for principles um so that would have simplified the chart to two columns however we've never had a salary schedule for our instructional coaches and uh so I felt it was time we have a salary schedule for our instructional coaches and we have at the current time two directors uh who are 12-month employees and who have lots of legal responsibilities uh beyond what uh principals have so I'm recommending a salary schedule for the instructional coaches and a salary schedule for our directors as well so it Still Remains a four column chart but different designations here and and I will tell you that it's been a long time coming for instructional coaches yes it has because there's a lot on their
138plate and they weren't getting paid what they should be getting paid thank you so I'm glad to see that do I have a motion to approve I move to approve the proposed school year 23 24 salary schedule for our certified specialists is there a second I'll suck at that motion all those in favor I'm Melinda sabrasky aye Charlene Diaz I'm staying Amanda amen I Fred Rushton hi Barb sarzicki item 520 authorized development of a proposed a proposal for a vs bcsd employee daycare I want to say that I think that this is what what got me got me here tonight I think that this is a a wonderful idea so long that's another long time coming thing and we have uh Tammy is here Tammy Alvarez who runs our preschool is here and keep in
139mind that I'm I'm asking you for permission to uh to develop a proposal for a daycare but we also have Michelle line decker who's who runs tiny T-Birds at the high school and uh so they're here to answer any questions you might have I will tell you that Tammy has learned for us that our current license for three four and five-year-olds that we have for our preschool and particularly for our special ed preschool that license would would carry over it would be it would be sufficient to help us with the daycare we would explore then what it would take for us to be licensed to have a birth to age three room and without going into a lot of gory details uh the situation right now is there's some planned changes in the operation of
140tiny T-Birds we have 17 or 18 children of our employees who are at tiny T-Birds and there is a great risk that there will not be a spot for those children uh next year in tiny T-Birds that they'll be bumped that they'll be bumped and not bumped like salary bump we're talking the other kind of bump like yeah and with very minimal notice to my understanding it would put a lot of strain on our employees to try to find you know suitable daycare it is in this area that's not available it's it's simply not available in that the area that is really lacking in this area in here Bullhead City is the the birth to zero to less than one year recruitment because most day carers don't take infants right and so that's really important
141well and this is to me this is this is not in the retention plan but this is my contributions retention because uh because I have a whole lot of employees we have a whole lot of employees uh who who would hesitate to sign work agreements or con contracts if they don't have they don't have some kind of guarantee of a child of daycare and us having our own would allow us to besides retain people operate operate such a daycare and the hours that are needed by our employees now tiny T-Birds has done a great job of that however there one of the one of the things for next year is that they won't have they won't be open at all on Fridays well okay we still need some Flex Friday coverage for our people we
142still need some PD Friday coverage for our people we need to know that if we have scheduled some of the professional development that we know we're going to be using next year to meet our school Improvement plans those are going to happen on Fridays so we need to know that our folks have a reliable daycare available for their children absolutely and so to me this is a huge issue of retention for us now this would be operated on under a separate budget it's called the community community budget and in fact part of our part of our preschool is operated under that kind of a budget structure this would be for fee because we would want it to be self-sustaining and uh and and my understanding from talking with my employees is paying the fee is
143not an issue that you know they're not too concerned about paying a fee for child care it's just that they need Dependable reliable child care for their kids I learned today at the uh chamber committee that I'm on the business and government Affairs committee one of the reasons why all of the daycares in town are full and they all have waiting lists and it's not because they don't have rooms available they can't find Personnel so we know that that will be an issue for us but we think that we probably have folks who can help us go out there and find some of those folks to help us run a daycare so but I didn't want to get too far down the road of of even exploring this without knowing that the board was supporting
144such an idea just this will take many hours of cleaning and then this is kind of something for the future but but is this are you thinking for our employees only or are you looking at opening that up well I think we have to make it uh financially viable so uh you know so certainly big enough to to deal with the number of students we have right now but we also need to anticipate um our folks may have some more kids you know so we've we've got to have some wiggle room in that um and but we might at some point go okay we're in one of those lulls you know we're in one of those times where maybe we only have 10 birth to birth to five kids as opposed to 25. and in
145which case if we want it to be financially viable then we would have to you know we would have offer to the community but we would our folks would have the priorities in this um and there was something else that I thought about went through my head right then um uh oh and there may be some cost to us for some Capital costs for us because there will be different regulations for uh having an infant room um and I guarantee you that none of our sites has a room that would qualify right now so we may have some Capital costs to do this but to me that it's worth the it's worth looking at that at least exploring it to be able to keep employees I think it's an excellent idea and if you have
146any questions I was going to say it sounds like we're all digging on it but I mean we have two people here in the room I mean Michelle Tammy do you guys have anything you want to add or say or thoughts or hmm you want come on Podium please so that you're on the microphone I mean you've been here all night it's been a long time we are constantly getting calls every day multiple calls a day that we want to get our child into preschool and I always I'm not able to take any children at this time and you can just hear their hearts drop and it's just like just the struggle in our inner city because the daycares they can't handle any more kids either and we all know that preschool s greatly benefits
147children and it seem all the years that I've taught preschool the kids that get to go to preschool are very successful just physically some rooms being adjusted and meeting all the requirements for licensing I have spoken with the licensing agent everybody which we have a great relationship with um and she's she's excited for us as well but interesting and know Michelle between marsalem are working together with both people together get it going and you know just as Dr Stewart said you know probably two-thirds of my family's at tiny T-Birds are in your district and probably that same equivalent is on the waiting list so you do have staff members that I can't get in as well um and at this point in time my district has not made a determination about how they plan to
148proceed with the center enrollment priority um Scarlett Vargas who is my direct supervisor she is in attendance she may be privy to that information that has not been shared with me I don't know but as it stands right now we haven't been given any guidance and many of your parents have expressed concerns they check with me weekly if there's any updates for that because they are very concerned and as she mentioned you know it's not really cost we got very very little pushback on any potential tuition increase because they realize that you know minimum wage has increased our operating expenses has increased their main concern was being able to have reliable Child Care vets of high quality you know that's that's the ticket it's not just reliable and open it's high quality and that that
149is what has been brought and and what I know we would like to emulate like we really would like to be able to duplicate that system so the fact that we have Michelle's standing here in support and I'm assuming willing to assist you know kick her some ideas and thoughts and assists like that that's that's a that's one of the biggest resources in this entire County that you can get yeah absolutely and I failed to mention that for some of those Capital costs um there are grants out there so you know we might not have to foot the whole bill but we could work on you know we could work on some Grand applications and those kinds of things so uh you know I forgot to mention that but so it's going to be pretty
