I forget what third grade is saying. And then um >> first grade is doing Grand Old Flag. >> Grand Old Flag. >> I just know my first grader comes off singing that every day. [laughter] >> Grand Old Flag. And then um we'll have our we we have our student body president says a few words. And then our guest speaker is um Major Curtis Brothers, Army Ranger, um combat infantry, expert infantry, airborne guy, and um just, you know, full metal full of salad or a chest full of salad and medals. And then um we will excuse our veterans and their
accompanying students and then they will step outside and then we'll go across stage one at a time. Um and we have several students who have already submitted. We have gosh 110 have already given us names and several are like this is my great-grandfather who fought in World War II and I'll show his picture and but we do army navy air force marines and then we do coast guard and we're going to have a space force dude this year >> we got a space force guy >> so >> um so it's like one right I'll take a look. >> I I I would be I don't >> Yeah, I'll take a I'll just form. >> Exactly. >> I'm pretty sure it's grand. People walk by when they pull in. We're going to have them buy the flag. And then that morning we had the entire school gather around the flag pole to do um pledge of allegiance. >> Oh, that's what we do. >> Yeah. Love it. We've got that kind of weird little island. So they they get all crammed in by the fences. It's nice. >> Julia comes on singing the grand old flag all the time. Students >> that's what they are singing. They are practicing because they sing that. We get to raise the flag in front of the kids so they they're like, "Oh,
that's so cool." Kind of like when they figure out that I'm the one talking on the microphone or anything on the speaker. What? >> So, we just stand out there and >> yeah, it's uh it's on my Spotify playlist now because she listens to it so frequently. Pops up. >> They know it's coming that they get to see it and we do it and that's all and we take a moment of silence and we class. So, >> yeah, we just take a moment of silence and >> I don't raise the flag. We just go out to the flag. >> We used to have the VA the VA come in their uniform. I used to have a teacher who was in the reserves. So, she would come in her her >> nice regalia. >> Yes. And
>> she looked like a a model. >> She did look like a model because she's >> It was hard to believe she was in the military >> beyond. Hopefully someone will. >> I'll watch. You know what? Oh, watch baby from the camera. >> Um, >> this is the Army ROC ember one. >> Yeah. They're like, "Okay, you know, we're going to have guns." I'm like, "You could don't pop them off in the cafeteria, but yeah, you can have your color guard right." So, okay. So, I make sure >> that's nice. Um, did Brandy and Ed, did you guys see
this request for to use our facilities? One of us needs to say yes, and I don't want it to be me. >> I have like 40 emails today. It's not been a day. >> I have not. 019the mayor. >> Last year. >> Yeah, it was at my school last year, too. I think >> they met in our cap. Yeah, >> I know. We went in our cafeteria a couple of years ago. >> All right. It sounds like it's my turn, I guess. >> It's innocuous. >> I may have to cancel basketball that day, but they'll be okay. Just Cindy. She said just I've never seen her anyway. Didn't know he showed up at work. Met up. Did you raise this whole thing? >> Oh my gosh. I had to I love it. >> She said she had it. 020Yeah. >> Oh, my if I look too fast, I knocked my contact. And so I I tried to look and I caught something that I >> I had um last year I had a student he went to look really quick >> and his contact split straight down the middle and broke. >> Oh no, I don't have I just if I turn too fast I can I don't need it. >> That's why many reasons. on the phone anyway. This is all your quick links. There's a strip. You'll see them all on the page. So, here's your [gasps] [snorts] know how she is. We got an authentic smile. I don't remember what we said, but [clears throat] we totally gave her a hard time smile. >> I'm going to ask if he wants I have the others

And that's what [music] >> she should [cough and clears throat] hopefully >> because I decided to like you know jump in citizens with people. So, a lot of work watching our little girls have a wrestling start at my school. I said, "Well, it's a facilities request put that in." >> Depends on when it is. I mean, because I've got winter basketball starting now. >> We have the >> I've got cheerleading using my gym and is not teaching. >> He's not teaching the adult class. She's teaching on campus, but I have a club over what you want. Sounds like your gym's full. So, >> my gym's full with two separate things. >> I do. I
have I'm full. I don't have any room for like an out this club, his private club's going to have to go somewhere outside. I don't have any room. >> So, okay. I don't know if he really will follow through with me. >> He may or may not, but he's um >> he's very nice. >> He's great and I love him to death. And is a great kid and Ryland's younger brother is awesome. The daughter's obviously he's a single dad. >> Just I feel bad for the guy. But he's he's a go-getter. He's he can be a little bit quick-tempered and abrasive, but it's it's because he's earnest and there's no filter. It's not because he's malicious in any way. >> I've been on the receiving end of his but I do think he the right
>> it is. >> He and I have gone we've gone back and forth in a positive way and have given each other all amounts of grief and constation. [laughter] Um, and I've been on the receiving end and the giving end. >> Yeah. I told I told him we were full and he says the principal in middle school your gyms. That's not what I said. I just >> Oh, and arrows archery arrows. So you have I don't want that. So I went and checked it out myself. Like what what is this? Have you been out there? >> I have. >> Yeah. So, like obviously my kids can project arrows that will go up, but I'm going to have a I'm going to have like a fence built like a like to catch the arrows. >> No,
we have to that is one of my most popular schools. >> I get it. >> Or middle schoolers hitting arrows. >> Doesn't matter. We need to put fence up if we're following regulations, blah blah blah, all that stuff. And it shouldn't affect your guys' bike path. But right now, I don't have a fence up. you are taking some sort of risk and um we didn't let cross cross country coach and the archery coach worked out where they didn't they weren't doing it at the same time on that specific path. >> So I am [clears throat] >> archery every single day. >> No, we don't. We only have it Monday and Thursday. >> The only weekend of practice is Thursday. >> Did you guys have yours Thursday? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Well, >> um >> and
they're they're like I'm I'm gonna fix it like in the next couple weeks. I'm gonna order fencing and I'm gonna get it's like netting to catch the >> arrows and like some you know so we're not you know >> but >> there may be two times. Look at how nice. >> Yeah. And we're watching when we're going and riding by when they're not. And so >> their regulation is that they have to stop whenever someone comes in their technical range. So that's where >> Yeah. PDF. >> No, I know. >> No, but I do I do really want to warn you. >> That's fine. Um and I'll play nice and pony up for half a night. So whatever that costs. >> Okay. Like I think the whole investment but we need to yeah I want
to make sure that because your bike club that I like I was telling him out there I was like this we need to do that for the kids. They would like you. [clears throat] >> I would like that. >> Maybe they could come back down and bike still like this club you're building. Why does it come with you? Think about that. I'm not saying we should current next year and build a paper by the bike. >> Hello. What are you doing? >> I'm starting a girl soft. [laughter] >> Okay. Hey, will you do me a sport? >> We're not traveling. Would youractes every >> Thank you so much. Okay, bye. >> But yeah, the arrow thing is just days. Um, everybody thinks it's Thursday. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> For next couple weeks. >> Yep.
>> It'll be fine. >> The occasional rogue arrow could go in. We're going to build orange. You really have to miss fire to get it. >> Oh, it would have to be >> it would have to almost be >> Yeah. >> But like you know how when you fire up it goes up and arches, >> right? >> Do you realize the distance? >> I do. I do. I did. I went measured it. I absolutely do understand the distance. And I that's was my words. I was like, how many pounds of pressure are these arrows? I've never shot one. I don't know. >> Oh, I did. I until I had a brother. I should have. >> Okay. I don't But yes, it would be quite a feat. But yes, please do not think that middle schoolers
don't possess the talent. Don't want to take almost I don't know what the I'm going to work on my pants though and thank you for contributing if it becomes a factor. >> Yeah, let me know. I'm happy to cover half that. >> Thank you. Oh, one of the listening, they're like archery on the team. So, >> and then she found out it was so it's one of buddies that Um, no. And it was nothing. Your friends are going to do Oh yeah. She just wants to make sure >> that's so sweet. >> [laughter] >> No, I just want to She doesn't have >> [snorts] >> I was like whatever. When's it going? >> Tomorrow start. That's when the Larry starts making the magic happen with DNS. >> Technology magic. I really I really want I
The image I have is Larry in a giant server room just going [laughter] with giant breakers. Wouldn't that be nice if that's all it was? >> Like Dr. Frank. >> Yeah. Yeah. And like electricity flying everywhere. That's >> in my mind that's what happened. Okay. >> I know it's like you entering code, but like >> I know practically what it is, but I think and they're giant black handles just you know those big like rubber grips so you don't electrocute yourself. Is there anywhere >> we had at CDO High School in Tucson? It was built in like 1962 or something. >> Ridiculous. >> Thank you. I will look for that. She probably sent it to me. >> But the the main breakers and everything, all electrical was under the cafeteria which was in this basement.
>> Yeah. which then had tunnels that ran under every building like wheel spokes. So it had like water lines and electric lines and it was crazy. You could get in the tunnels. The kids didn't know there were like ladders up that ran in the closets trap doors and stuff. It was so so cool. But one day all the lights go like, "Oh, that was weird. Wonder if something happened." Yeah, I go down there. There's these two guys from TE, which is their version of APS electric down there working >> and they had like bridged the gap between two um two generators, I guess. And like they whatever it was and the whole thing sparked and the guy's like we were blind for a second. The whole room went blue. >> You're lucky you're alive. >>
Yeah. I said one day advice it didn't come up even wasn't even there. So starting under construction because it's just pages and pages and hours and hours. >> Have you printed off this before? >> My personal computer. I mean on my personal printer at home nowhere.
